যখন একজন মানুষ মারা যায়, তার সব কাজ শেষ হয়ে যায় , তিনটি ব্যতিক্রম ছাড়া: সদকা জারিয়া (চলমান দান) , এমন জ্ঞান যা থেকে উপকার পাওয়া যায়, এবং একটি সৎ সন্তান যে তার জন্য দোয়া করে । | মুহাম্মদ (সাঃ) ; হাদিস - সহিহ মুসলিম | When a person dies, his works end, except for three: ongoing charity, knowledge that is benefited from, and a righteous child who prays for him. | Prophet Mohammed (PBUH); Hadith - Sahih Muslim |
যে ব্যক্তি ভাল কাজের জন্য সুপারিশ করবে, তার জন্য তাতে (সাওয়াবের) অংশ আছে এবং যে মন্দ কাজের জন্য সুপারিশ করবে, তার জন্য তাতে অংশ আছে । আর আল্লাহ সব কিছুর উপর নজর রাখেন । | সূরাঃ ৪ , আন-নিসা , আয়াতঃ : ৮৫ | Whoever intercedes for a good cause will have a reward therefrom; and whoever intercedes for an evil cause will have a burden therefrom. And ever is Allah, over all things, a Keeper. | Surah 4 , An-Nisa , Verse: 85 |

In Islam, earthly life is viewed as a test and a preparation for eternal life in the Hereafter. During this phase, humans have the opportunity to worship Allah, engage in righteous deeds, and fulfill their responsibilities toward themselves and others. The Quran emphasizes that this life is transient and filled with challenges, reminding us that true success is not found in worldly accomplishments but in leading a life that pleases Allah. This life serves as a bridge to the Hereafter, where every action will be evaluated on the Day of Judgment.

ইসলামে, পার্থিব জীবনকে একটি পরীক্ষা এবং পরকালের জন্য প্রস্তুতির পর্যায় হিসেবে দেখা হয়। এই সময়ে, মানুষ আল্লাহর উপাসনা করার, সৎকর্ম সম্পাদন করার এবং নিজেদের ও অন্যদের প্রতি দায়িত্ব পালন করার সুযোগ পায়। কুরআন আমাদের স্মরণ করিয়ে দেয় যে এই জীবন ক্ষণস্থায়ী এবং চ্যালেঞ্জে পরিপূর্ণ, এবং প্রকৃত সাফল্য পার্থিব অর্জনে নয়, বরং আল্লাহর সন্তুষ্টি অর্জনকারী জীবন যাপন করায় নিহিত। এই জীবনটি পরকালের দিকে নিয়ে যাওয়ার সেতু হিসেবে দেখা হয়, যেখানে প্রতিটি কাজ কিয়ামতের দিনে মূল্যায়ন করা হবে।

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
আল্লাহর নামে, যিনি পরম করুণাময়, পরম দয়ালু

Surah 10 | Yunus | ইউনুস | Verse: 24

বস্তুতঃ পার্থিব জীবনের অবস্থাতো এরূপ, যেমন আমি আসমান হতে পানি বর্ষণ করলাম, অতঃপর তা দ্বারা উৎপন্ন হয় যমীনের উদ্ভিদগুলি অতিশয় ঘন হয়ে, যা মানুষ ও পশুরা আহার করে; এমন কি, যখন সেই যমীন নিজের সুদৃশ্যতার পূর্ণ রূপ ধারণ করল এবং তা শোভনীয় হয়ে উঠল, আর ওর মালিকরা মনে করল যে, তারা এখন ওর পূর্ণ অধিকারী হয়েছে, তখন দিনে অথবা রাতে ওর উপর আমার পক্ষ হতে কোন আপদ এসে পড়ল। সুতরাং আমি ওকে এমন নিশ্চিহ্ন করে দিলাম, যেন গতকাল ওর অস্তিত্বই ছিলনা। এরূপেই আয়াতগুলিতে আমি বিশদ রূপে বর্ণনা করি এমন লোকদের জন্য যারা চিন্তা ভাবনা করে।
The example of [this] worldly life is but like rain which We have sent down from the sky that the plants of the earth absorb - [those] from which men and livestock eat - until, when the earth has taken on its adornment and is beautified and its people suppose that they have capability over it, there comes to it Our command by night or by day, and We make it as a harvest, as if it had not flourished yesterday. Thus do We explain in detail the signs for a people who give thought.

Surah 10 | Yunus | ইউনুস | Verse: 55 - 56

জেনে রাখ, নিশ্চয় আসমানসমূহ ও যমীনে যা আছে, তা আল্লাহরই। জেনে রাখ, নিশ্চয় আল্লাহর ওয়াদা সত্য, কিন্তু তাদের অধিকাংশই জানে না। তিনিই জীবন দান করেন এবং মৃত্যু ঘটান এবং তারই কাছে তোমাদেরকে প্রত্যাবর্তন করানো হবে।
Unquestionably, to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth. Unquestionably, the promise of Allah is truth, but most of them do not know. He gives life and causes death, and to Him you will be returned.

Surah 10 | Yunus | ইউনুস | Verse: 88 - 89

মূসা বললেন, হে আমাদের রব! আপনি তো ফিরআউন ও তার পরিষদবর্গকে দুনিয়ার জীবনে শোভা ও সম্পদ দান করেছেন, হে আমাদের রব! যা দ্বারা তারা মানুষকে আপনার পথ থেকে ভ্ৰষ্ট করে। হে আমাদের রব! তাদের সম্পদ বিনষ্ট করুন, আর তাদের হৃদয় কঠিন করে দিন, ফলে তারা যন্ত্রণাদায়ক শাস্তি প্রত্যক্ষ না করা পর্যন্ত ঈমান আনবে না।
তিনি (আল্লাহ) বললেন, ‘তোমাদের উভয়ের দুআ কবুল করা হল। অতএব তোমরা অবিচল থাক এবং অবশ্যই তাদের পথ অনুসরণ করো না যাদের জ্ঞান নেই।
And Moses said, "Our Lord, indeed You have given Pharaoh and his establishment splendor and wealth in the worldly life, our Lord, that they may lead [men] astray from Your way. Our Lord, obliterate their wealth and harden their hearts so that they will not believe until they see the painful punishment."
[Allah] said, "Your supplication has been answered." So remain on a right course and follow not the way of those who do not know."

Surah 13 | Ar-Ra'd | আর-রাদ | Verse: 26

আল্লাহ যার জন্য ইচ্ছা করেন রিযক বাড়িয়ে দেন এবং সঙ্কুচিত করেন। আর তারা দুনিয়ার জীবন নিয়ে উৎফুল্লতায় আছে, অথচ আখিরাতের তুলনায় দুনিয়ার জীবন খুবই নগণ্য।
Allah extends provision for whom He wills and restricts [it]. And they rejoice in the worldly life, while the worldly life is not, compared to the Hereafter, except [brief] enjoyment.

Surah 16 | An-Nahl | আন-নাহাল | Verse: 30 - 32

আর যারা তাকওয়ার অবলম্বন করেছে, তাদের বলা হল, ‘তোমাদের রব কী নাযিল করেছেন’? তারা বলল, ‘কল্যাণ’। যারা এই দুনিয়ায় উত্তম কাজ করেছে, তাদের জন্য রয়েছে পুণ্য। আর নিশ্চয় আখিরাতের আবাস উত্তম এবং মুত্তাকীদের আবাস কতইনা উত্তম! স্থায়ী জান্নাতসমূহ যাতে তারা প্রবেশ করবে, যার তলদেশে প্রবাহিত হচ্ছে নহরসমূহ। তারা চাইবে, তাদের জন্য তার মধ্যে তাই থাকবে। এভাবেই আল্লাহ মুত্তাকীদের প্রতিদান দেন। ফেরেশতারা যাদের মৃত্যু ঘটায় উত্তম অবস্থায়, তারা বলে, ‘তোমাদের উপর সালাম। জান্নাতে প্রবেশ কর, যে আমল তোমরা করতে তার কারণে।
And it will be said to those who feared Allah, "What did your Lord send down?" They will say, "[That which is] good." For those who do good in this world is good; and the home of the Hereafter is better. And how excellent is the home of the righteous. Gardens of perpetual residence, which they will enter, beneath which rivers flow. They will have therein whatever they wish. Thus does Allah reward the righteous. The ones whom the angels take in death, [being] good and pure; [the angels] will say, "Peace be upon you. Enter Paradise for what you used to do."

Surah 16 | An-Nahl | আন-নাহাল | Verse: 63

শপথ আল্লাহর! আমরা আপনার আগেও বহু জাতির কাছে রাসূল পাঠিয়েছি; কিন্তু শয়তান ঐসব জাতির কার্যকলাপ তাদের দৃষ্টিতে শোভন করেছিল; কাজেই সে-ই আজ তাদের অভিভাবক আর তাদেরই জন্য রয়েছে যন্ত্রণাদায়ক শাস্তি।
By Allah, We did certainly send [messengers] to nations before you, but Satan made their deeds attractive to them. And he is the disbelievers' ally today [as well], and they will have a painful punishment.

Surah 16 | An-Nahl | আন-নাহাল | Verse: 106 - 109

কেহ ঈমান আনার পর আল্লাহকে অস্বীকার করলে এবং কুফরীর জন্য হৃদয় উন্মুক্ত রাখলে তার উপর আপতিত হবে আল্লাহর গযব এবং তার জন্য আছে মহা শাস্তি; তবে তার জন্য নয়, যাকে কুফরীর জন্য বাধ্য করা হয়, কিন্তু তার চিত্ত ঈমানে অবিচল।
এটা এ জন্যে যে, তারা দুনিয়ার জীবনকে আখিরাতের উপর প্রাধান্য দেয় আর আল্লাহ কাফির সম্প্রদায়কে হিদায়াত করেন না।
এরাই তারা, আল্লাহ যাদের অন্তর, কান ও চোখ মোহর করে দিয়েছেন। আর তারাই গাফিল।
নিঃসন্দেহ, নিশ্চিত যে, তারাই আখিরাতে হবে ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত।

Whoever disbelieves in Allah after his belief... except for one who is forced [to renounce his religion] while his heart is secure in faith. But those who [willingly] open their breasts to disbelief, upon them is wrath from Allah, and for them is a great punishment;
That is because they preferred the worldly life over the Hereafter and that Allah does not guide the disbelieving people.
Those are the ones over whose hearts and hearing and vision Allah has sealed, and it is those who are the heedless.
Assuredly, it is they, in the Hereafter, who will be the losers.

Surah 17 | Al-Isra | আল-ইসরা (বনী-ইসরাঈল) | Verse: 18

কেউ পার্থিব সুখ-সম্ভোগ কামনা করলে আমরা যাকে যা ইচ্ছে এখানেই সত্বর দিয়ে থাকি; পরে তার জন্য জাহান্নাম নির্ধারিত করি; সেখানে সে প্রবেশ করবে নিন্দিত ও অনুগ্রহ হতে বঞ্চিত অবস্থায় ।
Whoever should desire the immediate - We hasten for him from it what We will to whom We intend. Then We have made for him Hell, which he will [enter to] burn, censured and banished.

Surah 18 | Al-Kahf | আল-কাহফ | Verse: 45 - 46

আর আপনি তাদের কাছে পেশ করুন উপমা দুনিয়ার জীবনের: এটা পানির ন্যায় যা আমরা বর্ষণ করি আকাশ থেকে, যা দ্বারা ভূমিজ উদ্ভিদ ঘন সন্নিবিষ্ট হয়ে উদগত হয়, তারপর তা বিশুষ্ক হয়ে এমন চূর্ণ-বিচূর্ণ হয় যে, বাতাস তাকে উড়িয়ে নিয়ে যায়। আর আল্লাহ সব কিছুর উপর শক্তিমান।
ধন-সম্পদ ও সন্তান-সন্ততি দুনিয়ার জীবনের শোভা ; আর সৎকার্য, যার ফল স্থায়ী ওটা আপনার প্রতিপালকের নিকট পুরস্কার প্রাপ্তির জন্য শ্রেষ্ঠ এবং আশা প্রাপ্তির ব্যাপারেও উত্তম ।

And present to them the example of the life of this world, [its being] like rain which We send down from the sky, and the vegetation of the earth mingles with it and [then] it becomes dry remnants, scattered by the winds. And Allah is ever, over all things, Perfect in Ability.
Wealth and children are [but] adornment of the worldly life. But the enduring good deeds are better to your Lord for reward and better for [one's] hope.

Surah 18 | Al-Kahf | আল-কাহফ | Verse: 103- 108

[ হে মুহাম্মদ], বলুন, আমরা কি তোমাদেরকে এমন লোকদের কথা জনাব, যারা আমলের দিক থেকে সবচেয়ে বেশী ক্ষতিগ্ৰস্ত?
ওরাই তারা, পার্থিব জীবনে যাদের চেষ্টা ব্যর্থ হয়ে গেছে, অথচ তারা মনে করছে যে, তারা ভাল কাজই করছে’!
তারাই সেসব লোক, যারা তাদের রব-এর নিদর্শনাবলী ও তাঁর সাথে তাদের সাক্ষাৎকে অস্বীকার করেছে। ফলে তাদের সকল আমল নিস্ফল হয়ে গেছে; সুতরাং আমরা তাদের জন্য কেয়ামতের দিন কোন ওজনের ব্যবস্থা রাখব না।
জাহান্নাম, এটাই তাদের প্রতিফল, যেহেতু তারা সত্য প্রত্যাখ্যান করেছে এবং আমার নিদর্শনাবলী ও রসূলদেরকে গ্রহণ করেছে বিদ্রূপের বিষয়রূপে।
নিশ্চয় যারা ঈমান এনেছে এবং সৎকাজ করেছে তাদের আতিথেয়তার জন্য রয়েছে জান্নাতুল ফিরদাউস।
সেখানে তারা চিরকাল থাকবে, সেখান থেকে তারা স্থানান্তরিত হতে চাইবে না।

Say, [O Muhammad], "Shall we [believers] inform you of the greatest losers as to [their] deeds?
[They are] those whose effort is lost in worldly life, while they think that they are doing well in work."
Those are the ones who disbelieve in the verses of their Lord and in [their] meeting Him, so their deeds have become worthless; and We will not assign to them on the Day of Resurrection any importance.
That is their recompense - Hell - for what they denied and [because] they took My signs and My messengers in ridicule.
Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds - they will have the Gardens of Paradise as a lodging,
Wherein they abide eternally. They will not desire from it any transfer.

Surah 29 | Al-Ankabut | আল-আনকাবূত | Verse: 61 - 64

আর যদি আপনি তাদেরকে জিজ্ঞেস করেন , কে আসমানসমূহ ও যমীনকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন এবং চন্দ্ৰ - সূৰ্যকে নিয়ন্ত্রিত করেছেন ? তারা অবশ্যই বলবে , আল্লাহ । তাহলে ওরা কোথায় ফিরে যাচ্ছে ?
আল্লাহ তাঁর বান্দাদের মধ্যে যার জন্য ইচ্ছে তার রিযিক বাড়িয়ে দেন এবং যার জন্য ইচ্ছে সীমিত করেন । নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ সবকিছু সম্পর্কে সম্যক অবগত ।
আর যদি আপনি তাদেরকে জিজ্ঞেস করেন , আকাশ হতে বারি বর্ষণ করে কে ভূমিকে সঞ্জীবিত করেন তার মৃত্যুর পর ? তারা অবশ্যই বলবে, আল্লাহ । বলুন , সমস্ত প্রশংসা আল্লাহরই । কিন্তু তাদের অধিকাংশই এটা অনুধাবন করে না ।
আর এ দুনিয়ার জীবন তো খেলতামাশা ছাড়া কিছুই নয় । আর আখেরাতের জীবনই তো প্রকৃত জীবন , যদি তারা জানত !

If you asked them, "Who created the heavens and earth and subjected the sun and the moon?" they would surely say, "Allah." Then how are they deluded ?
Allah extends provision for whom He wills of His servants and restricts for him. Indeed Allah is , of all things , Knowing .
And if you asked them, "Who sends down rain from the sky and gives life thereby to the earth after its lifelessness?" they would surely say " Allah." Say, "Praise to Allah "; but most of them do not reason.
And this worldly life is not but diversion and amusement. And indeed, the home of the Hereafter - that is the [eternal] life, if only they knew.

Surah 30 | Ar-Rum | আর-রুম | Verse: 5 - 10

আল্লাহর সাহায্যে । তিনি যাকে ইচ্ছা সাহায্য করেন । আর তিনি মহাপরাক্রমশালী , পরম দয়ালু ।
এটা আল্লাহরই প্রতিশ্রুতি ; আল্লাহ তাঁর প্রতিশ্রুতির ব্যাতিক্রম করেন না , কিন্তু অধিকাংশ লোক জানে না ।
তারা পার্থিব জীবনের বাহ্য দিক সম্বন্ধে অবগত , অথচ পারলৌকিক জীবন সম্বন্ধে ওরা উদাসীন ।
তারা কি নিজেদের অন্তরে ভেবে দেখে না যে , আল্লাহই আকাশমন্ডলী , পৃথিবী ও ওদের অন্তর্বর্তী সমস্ত কিছু যথাযথভাবে এবং এক নির্দিষ্ট কালের জন্য সৃষ্টি করেছেন । কিন্তু মানুষের মধ্যে অনেকেই তাদের রবের সাক্ষাতে অবিশ্বাসী ।
তারা কি যমীনে ভ্রমণ করে না ? তাহলে তারা দেখত যে , তাদের পূর্ববর্তীদের পরিণাম কেমন হয়েছিল । তারা শক্তিতে তাদের চেয়েও প্রবল ছিল । তারা জমি চাষ করত এবং এরা পৃথিবীর যতটা আবাদ করেছে তার চেয়ে তারা বেশি আবাদ করেছিল । তাদের নিকট তাদের রসূলগণ সুস্পষ্ট নিদর্শনাবলীসহ এসেছিল । বস্তুতঃ আল্লাহ এমন নন যে , তিনি তাদের প্রতি যুলম করবেন , কিন্তু তারা নিজেরাই নিজদের প্রতি যুলম করেছিল ।
তারপর যারা মন্দ কাজ করেছিল তাদের পরিণাম মন্দ হয়েছিল । কারণ তারা আল্লাহর আয়াতগুলোকে অস্বীকার করেছিল এবং সেগুলো নিয়ে ঠাট্টা-বিদ্রূপ করত ।

[It is] the promise of Allah. Allah does not fail in His promise, but most of the people do not know.
[It is] the promise of Allah. Allah does not fail in His promise, but most of the people do not know.
They know what is apparent of the worldly life, but they, of the Hereafter, are unaware.
Do they not contemplate within themselves? Allah has not created the heavens and the earth and what is between them except in truth and for a specified term. And indeed, many of the people, in [the matter of] the meeting with their Lord, are disbelievers.
Have they not traveled through the earth and observed how was the end of those before them? They were greater than them in power, and they plowed the earth and built it up more than they have built it up, and their messengers came to them with clear evidences. And Allah would not ever have wronged them, but they were wronging themselves .
Then the end of those who did evil was the worst [consequence] because they denied the signs of Allah and used to ridicule them.

Surah 42 | Ash-Shura | আশ-শূরা | Verse: 36 - 43

বস্তুতঃ তোমাদেরকে যা কিছু দেওয়া হয়েছে , তা পার্থিব জীবনের ভোগ ; কিন্তু আল্লাহর নিকট যা আছে , তা উত্তম ও চিরস্থায়ী তাদের জন্য , যারা বিশ্বাস করে ও তাদের প্রতিপালকের ওপর নির্ভর করে ।
আর যারা কবীরা গোনাহ [গুরুতর পাপ] ও অশ্লীল কাজ থেকে বেঁচে থাকে এবং যখন রাগান্বিত হয় তখন তারা ক্ষমা করে দেয় ।
আর যারা তাদের রবের ডাকে সাড়া দেয় , সালাত কায়েম করে এবং পারস্পরিক পরামর্শের ভিত্তিতে নিজেদের কার্যাদি পরিচালনা করে । আর আমি তাদেরকে যে রিযক দিয়েছি তাত্থেকে ব্যয় করে ।
এবং যারা অত্যাচারিত হলে প্রতিশোধ গ্রহণ করে ।
মন্দের প্রতিফল অনুরূপ মন্দ । আর যে ক্ষমা করে দেয় ও আপোস-নিস্পত্তি করে , তার পুরস্কার আল্লাহর নিকট আছে , নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ সীমালংঘনকারীদেরকে পছন্দ করেন না ।
তবে অত্যাচারিত হওয়ার পর যারা প্রতিশোধ গ্রহণ করে , তাদের বিরুদ্ধে কোন ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণ করা হবে না ।
কেবল তাদের বিরুদ্ধেই ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণ করা হবে , যারা মানুষের উপর যুলম করে এবং যমীনে অন্যায়ভাবে সীমালঙ্ঘন করে বেড়ায়। তাদের জন্য রয়েছে যন্ত্রণাদায়ক আযাব ।
আর অবশ্যই যে ধৈর্য ধারণ করে । এবং ক্ষমা করে দেয় , নিশ্চয় তা দৃঢ় সংকল্পেরই কাজ ।

So whatever thing you have been given - it is but [for] enjoyment of the worldly life. But what is with Allah is better and more lasting for those who have believed and upon their Lord rely
And those who avoid the major sins and immoralities, and when they are angry, they forgive,
And those who have responded to their lord and established prayer and whose affair is [determined by] consultation among themselves, and from what We have provided them, they spend.
And those who, when tyranny strikes them, they defend themselves,
And the retribution for an evil act is an evil one like it, but whoever pardons and makes reconciliation - his reward is [due] from Allah. Indeed, He does not like wrongdoers.
And whoever avenges himself after having been wronged - those have not upon them any cause [for blame].
The cause is only against the ones who wrong the people and tyrannize upon the earth without right. Those will have a painful punishment.
And whoever is patient and forgives - indeed, that is of the matters [requiring] determination.

Surah 43 | Az-Zukhruf | আয-যুখরুফ | Verse: 33 - 39

সত্যপ্রত্যাখ্যানে সব মানুষ এক মতাবলম্বী হয়ে পড়বে , এ আশংকা না থাকলে পরম দয়াময়কে যারা অস্বীকার করে , তাদেরকে তিনি দিতেন ওদের গৃহের জন্য রৌপ্যনির্মিত ছাদ এবং সিঁড়ি ; যাতে তারা আরোহণ করত ।
দিতেন তাদের গৃহের জন্য রৌপ্যনির্মিত দরজা , বিশ্রামের জন্য পালঙ্ক ,
আর (অনুরূপ দিতাম) স্বর্ণ নির্মিতও ; এবং এ সবই তো শুধু দুনিয়ার জীবনের ভোগ-সম্ভার । আর আখিরাত আপনার রবের নিকট মুত্তাকীদের জন্যই ।
আর যে ব্যক্তি পরম দয়াময় আল্লাহর স্মরণে উদাসীন হয় তিনি তার জন্য এক শয়তানকে নিয়োজিত করেন, অতঃপর সে হয় তার সহচর ।
আর নিশ্চয় তারাই (শয়তোনরা) মানুষদেরকে সৎপথ থেকে বাধা দেয় , অথচ মানুষরা (ভ্ৰষ্ট পথে থাকার পরও) মনে করে তারা সৎ পথে পরিচালিত হচ্ছে ।
অবশেষে যখন সে আমাদের নিকট আসবে , তখন সে শয়তানকে বলবে , হায় ! আমার ও তোমার মধ্যে যদি পূর্ব ও পশ্চিমের ব্যবধান থাকত ! সুতরাং কতইনা নিকৃষ্ট সে সঙ্গী !
ওদেরকে বলা হবে, তোমরা সীমালংঘন করেছিলে ; আজ তোমাদের এ অনুতাপ তোমাদের কোন কাজে আসবে না । নিশ্চয় তোমরা আযাবে পরস্পর অংশীদার হয়ে থাকবে ।

And if it were not that the people would become one community [of disbelievers], We would have made for those who disbelieve in the Most Merciful - for their houses - ceilings and stairways of silver upon which to mount
And for their houses - doors and couches [of silver] upon which to recline
And gold ornament. But all that is not but the enjoyment of worldly life. And the Hereafter with your Lord is for the righteous.
And whoever is blinded from remembrance of the Most Merciful - We appoint for him a devil, and he is to him a companion.
And indeed, the devils avert them from the way [of guidance] while they think that they are [rightly] guided
Until, when he comes to Us [at Judgement], he says [to his companion], "Oh, I wish there was between me and you the distance between the east and west - how wretched a companion."
And never will it benefit you that Day, when you have wronged, that you are [all] sharing in the punishment.

Surah 45 | Al-Jathiya | আল-জাসিয়া | Verse: 23 - 30

আপনি লক্ষ্য করেছেন তাকে, যে তার খেয়াল-খুশীকে নিজ ইলাহ বানিয়ে নিয়েছে ? আর তার কাছে জ্ঞান আসার পর আল্লাহ তাকে বিভ্রান্ত করেছেন এবং তিনি তার কান ও হৃদয়ে মোহর মেরে দিয়েছেন । আর তিনি তার চোখের উপর রেখেছেন আবরণ । অতএব আল্লাহর পরে কে তাকে হেদায়াত দিবে ? তবুও কি তোমরা উপদেশ গ্ৰহণ করবে না ?
আর তারা বলে , একমাত্র পার্থিব জীবনই আমাদের জীবন , এখানেই আমরা মরি ও বাঁচি ; মহাকালই আমাদেরকে ধ্বংস করে । বস্তুতঃ এ ব্যাপারে ওদের কোন জ্ঞান নেই , ওরা তো কেবল ধারণা করে মাত্র ।
আর তাদের কাছে যখন আমাদের সুস্পষ্ট আয়াতসমূহ তেলাওয়াত করা হয় তখন তাদের কোন যুক্তি থাকে না শুধু এ কথা ছাড়া যে , তোমরা সত্যবাদী হলে আমাদের পিতৃপুরুষদেরকে নিয়ে আস ।
বলুন, আল্লাহই তোমাদেরকে জীবন দান করেন তারপর তোমাদের মৃত্যু ঘটান । তারপর তিনি তোমাদেরকে কিয়ামতের দিনে একত্র করবেন , যাতে কোন সন্দেহ নেই । কিন্তু বেশীর ভাগ মানুষ তা জানে না ।
আর আসমানসমূহ ও যমীনের রাজত্ব আল্লাহরই ; এবং যেদিন কিয়ামত সংঘটিত হবে সেদিন মিথ্যাশ্রয়ীরা হবে ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত ।
আর আপনি প্রত্যেক সম্প্রদায়কে ভয়ে নতজানু অবস্থায়, প্রত্যেক সম্প্রদায়কে তার আমলনামা দেখতে আহবান করা হবে এবং বলা হবে , তোমরা যা করতে, আজ তোমাদেরকে তারই প্রতিফল দেওয়া হবে ।
আমার (নিকট সংরক্ষিত) এ আমলনামা যা তোমাদের ব্যাপারে সত্য কথা বলবে । তোমরা যা করতে নিশ্চয় আমরা তা লিপিবদ্ধ করাতাম ।
অতঃপর যারা ঈমান এনেছে এবং সৎকাজ করেছে পরিণামে তাদের প্রতিপালক তাদেরকে নিজ করুণায় প্রবেশ করাবেন । এটিই মহাসাফল্য।

Have you seen he who has taken as his god his [own] desire, and Allah has sent him astray due to knowledge and has set a seal upon his hearing and his heart and put over his vision a veil? So who will guide him after Allah? Then will you not be reminded?
And they say, "There is not but our worldly life; we die and live, and nothing destroys us except time." And they have of that no knowledge; they are only assuming.
And when Our verses are recited to them as clear evidences, their argument is only that they say, "Bring [back] our forefathers, if you should be truthful.
Say, "Allah causes you to live, then causes you to die; then He will assemble you for the Day of Resurrection, about which there is no doubt, but most of the people do not know."
And to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. And the Day the Hour appears - that Day the falsifiers will lose.
And you will see every nation kneeling [from fear]. Every nation will be called to its record [and told], "Today you will be recompensed for what you used to do.
This, Our record, speaks about you in truth. Indeed, We were having transcribed whatever you used to do."
So as for those who believed and did righteous deeds, their Lord will admit them into His mercy. That is what is the clear attainment.

Surah 46 | Al-Ahqaf | আল-আহকাফ | Verse: 15 - 20

আর আমরা মানুষকে তার মাতা-পিতার প্রতি সদয় ব্যবহারের নির্দেশ দিয়েছি । তার মা তাকে গর্ভে ধারণ করে কষ্টের সাথে এবং প্রসব করে কষ্টের সাথে, তাকে গৰ্ভে ধারণ করতে ও তার স্তন্য ছাড়াতে লাগে ত্রিশ মাস অবশেষে যখন সে পূর্ণ শক্তিপ্রাপ্ত হয় এবং চল্লিশ বছরে উপনীত হয়, তখন সে বলে, হে আমার রব ! আপনি আমাকে সামর্থ্য দিন , যাতে আমি আপনার প্রতি কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করতে পারি , আমার প্রতি ও আমার পিতা-মাতার প্রতি আপনি যে অনুগ্রহ করেছেন , তার জন্য এবং যাতে আমি এমন সৎকাজ করতে পারি যা আপনি পছন্দ করেন , আর আমার জন্য আমার সন্তান-সন্ততিদেরকে সংশোধন করে দিন , নিশ্চয় আমি আপনারই অভিমুখী হলাম এবং নিশ্চয় আমি মুসলিমদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত ।
ওরাই তারা , আমরা যাদের সৎ আমলগুলো কবুল করি এবং মন্দ কাজগুলো ক্ষমা করি , তারা জান্নাতবাসীদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত । তাদেরকে যে প্রতিশ্রুতি দেয়া হয়েছে তা সত্য ওয়াদা ।
আর যে তার মাতা-পিতাকে বলল , আফসোস তোমাদের জন্য ! তোমরা কি আমাকে এ ভয় দেখাতে চাও যে , আমাকে পুনরায় জীবিত করা হবে ; অথচ আমার পূর্বে বহু পুরুষ গত হয়ে গেছে ? তখন তার মাতা-পিতা আল্লাহর নিকট ফরিয়াদ করে বলে, দুর্ভোগ তোমার জন্য ! তুমি ঈমান আনয়ন কর , নিশ্চয় আল্লাহর ওয়াদা সত্য । তখন সে বলে , এ তো অতীত কালের উপকথা ছাড়া কিছুই নয় ।
এরা তো তারা , যাদের উপর সত্য হয়েছে আযাবের সে ফয়সালা , যা সত্য হয়েছিল সে সব উম্মতের জন্য যারা গত হয়ে গেছে এদের আগে , জিন ও ইনসান থেকে। নিশ্চয় তারা ছিল ক্ষতিগ্ৰস্ত ।
আর প্রত্যেকের জন্য তাদের আমল অনুসারে মর্যাদা রয়েছে ; এবং যাতে আল্লাহ প্রত্যেকের কাজের পূর্ণ প্ৰতিফল দিতে পারেন । আর তাদের প্রতি যুলুম করা হবে না ।
আর যারা কুফরী করেছে যেদিন তাদেরকে জাহান্নামের সামনে পেশ করা হবে (সেদিন তাদেরকে বলা হবে) তোমরা তোমাদের দুনিয়ার জীবনেই যাবতীয় সুখ-সম্ভার নিয়ে গেছ এবং সেগুলো উপভোগও করেছ । সুতরাং আজ তোমাদেরকে দেয়া হবে অবমাননাকর শাস্তি ; কারণ তোমরা যমীনে অন্যায়ভাবে ঔদ্ধত্য প্রকাশ করতে এবং তোমরা ছিলে পাপাচারী ।

And We have enjoined upon man, to his parents, good treatment. His mother carried him with hardship and gave birth to him with hardship, and his gestation and weaning [period] is thirty months. [He grows] until, when he reaches maturity and reaches [the age of] forty years, he says, "My Lord, enable me to be grateful for Your favor which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents and to work righteousness of which You will approve and make righteous for me my offspring. Indeed, I have repented to You, and indeed, I am of the Muslims."
Those are the ones from whom We will accept the best of what they did and overlook their misdeeds, [their being] among the companions of Paradise. [That is] the promise of truth which they had been promised.
But one who says to his parents, "Uff to you; do you promise me that I will be brought forth [from the earth] when generations before me have already passed on [into oblivion]?" while they call to Allah for help [and to their son], "Woe to you! Believe! Indeed, the promise of Allah is truth." But he says, "This is not but legends of the former people"
Those are the ones upon whom the word has come into effect, [who will be] among nations which had passed on before them of jinn and men. Indeed, they [all] were losers.
And for all there are degrees [of reward and punishment] for what they have done, and [it is] so that He may fully compensate them for their deeds, and they will not be wronged.
And the Day those who disbelieved are exposed to the Fire [it will be said], "You exhausted your pleasures during your worldly life and enjoyed them, so this Day you will be awarded the punishment of [extreme] humiliation because you were arrogant upon the earth without right and because you were defiantly disobedient."

Surah 46 | Al-Ahqaf | আল-আহকাফ | Verse: 33 - 35

তারা কি দেখে না যে , আল্লাহ, যিনি আকাশমন্ডলী ও পৃথিবী সৃষ্টি করেছেন এবং এ সবের সৃষ্টিতে কোন ক্লান্তিবোধ করেননি , তিনি মৃতের জীবন দান করতেও সক্ষম ? কেন নয় ? অবশ্যই তিনি সর্ববিষয়ে সর্বশক্তিমান ।
যেদিন কাফিরদেরকে উপস্থিত করা হবে জাহান্নামের নিকট , সেদিন তাদেরকে বলা হবেঃ এটা কি সত্য নয় ? তারা বলবেঃ আমাদের রবের শপথ ! এটা সত্য । তখন তাদেরকে বলা হবেঃ শাস্তি আস্বাদান কর । কারণ তোমরা ছিলে সত্য প্রত্যাখ্যানকারী ।
অতএব আপনি ধৈর্য ধারণ করুন যেমন ধৈর্য ধারণ করেছিলেন দৃঢ় প্ৰতিজ্ঞ রাসূলগণ। আর আপনি তাদের জন্য (শাস্তি প্রার্থনায়) তাড়াহুড়ো করবেন না । তাদেরকে যে বিষয়ে সতর্ক করা হয়েছে তা যেদিন তারা দেখতে পাবে , সেদিন তাদের মনে হবে , তারা যেন দিনের এক দণ্ডের বেশী দুনিয়াতে অবস্থান করেনি । এটা এক স্পষ্ট ঘোষণা , সত্যত্যাগী সম্প্রদায় ব্যতীত অন্য কাউকেও ধ্বংস করা হবে না ।

Do they not see that Allah, who created the heavens and earth and did not fail in their creation, is able to give life to the dead? Yes. Indeed, He is over all things competent.
And the Day those who disbelieved are exposed to the Fire [it will be said], "Is this not the truth?" They will say, "Yes, by our Lord." He will say, "Then taste the punishment because you used to disbelieve."
So be patient, [O Muhammad], as were those of determination among the messengers and do not be impatient for them. It will be - on the Day they see that which they are promised - as though they had not remained [in the world] except an hour of a day. [This is] notification. And will [any] be destroyed except the defiantly disobedient people?

Surah 47 | Muhammad | মুহাম্মাদ | Verse: 36 - 38

দুনিয়ার জীবন তো শুধু খেল-তামাশা ও অর্থহীন কথাবার্তা। আর যদি তোমরা ঈমান আন এবং আল্লাহ-ভীরুতা অবলম্বন কর , তবে আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে পুরস্কার দেবেন এবং তিনি তোমাদের ধন-সম্পদ চান না ।
তোমাদের নিকট হতে তিনি তা চাইলে ও তার জন্যে তোমাদের উপর চাপ দিলে তোমরা তো কার্পণ্য করবে এবং তিনি তোমাদের বিদ্বেষভাব প্রকাশ করে দেবেন ।
দেখ , তোমরাই তো তারা যাদেরকে আল্লাহ্র পথে ব্যয় করতে বলা হচ্ছে অথচ তোমাদের কেউ কেউ কার্পণ্য করছে । তবে যে কার্পণ্য করেছে সে তো কার্পণ্য করছে নিজেরই প্রতি । আর আল্লাহ অভাবমুক্ত এবং তোমরা অভাবগ্ৰস্ত । আর যদি তোমরা বিমুখ হও , তবে তিনি তোমাদের ছাড়া অন্য সম্প্রদায়কে তোমাদের স্থলবর্তী করবেন ; তারপর তারা তোমাদের মত হবে না ।

[This] worldly life is only amusement and diversion. And if you believe and fear Allah, He will give you your rewards and not ask you for your properties.
If He should ask you for them and press you, you would withhold, and He would expose your unwillingness.
Here you are - those invited to spend in the cause of Allah - but among you are those who withhold [out of greed]. And whoever withholds only withholds [benefit] from himself; and Allah is the Free of need, while you are the needy. And if you turn away, He will replace you with another people; then they will not be the likes of you.

Surah 53 | An-Najm | আন-নাজম | Verse: 29

অতএব আপনি তাকে উপেক্ষা করে চলুন যে আমাদের স্মরণ থেকে বিমুখ হয় এবং কেবল দুনিয়ার জীবনই কামনা করে।
So turn away from whoever turns his back on Our message and desires not except the worldly life.

Surah 57 | Al-Hadid | আল-হাদীদ | Verse: 20

তোমরা জেনে রেখ যে, পার্থিব জীবনতো ক্রীড়া কৌতুক, জাঁকজমক, পারস্পরিক অহংকার প্রকাশ, ধন-সম্পদ ও সন্তান-সন্ততিতে প্রাচুর্য লাভের প্রতিযোগিতা ব্যতীত আর কিছুই নয়; ওর উপমা বৃষ্টি, যদ্বারা উৎপন্ন শস্য সম্ভার কৃষকদেরকে চমৎকৃত করে, অতঃপর ওটা শুকিয়ে যায়, ফলে আপনি ওটা পীতবর্ণ দেখতে পান, অবশেষে ওটা খড়কুটায় পরিণত হয়। পরকালে (অবিশ্বাসীদের জন্য) রয়েছে কঠিন শাস্তি এবং (সৎপথ অনুসারীদের জন্য রয়েছে) আল্লাহর ক্ষমা ও সন্তুষ্টি। পার্থিব জীবন ছলনাময় ভোগ ব্যতীত কিছুই নয়।
Know that the life of this world is but amusement and diversion and adornment and boasting to one another and competition in increase of wealth and children - like the example of a rain whose [resulting] plant growth pleases the tillers; then it dries and you see it turned yellow; then it becomes [scattered] debris. And in the Hereafter is severe punishment and forgiveness from Allah and approval. And what is the worldly life except the enjoyment of delusion.

Surah 76 | Al-Insan | আল-ইনসান | Verse: 27 - 29

নিশ্চয় তারা (অবিশ্বাসীরা) ভালবাসে দুনিয়ার জীবনকে আর তারা তাদের সামনের কঠিন দিনকে উপেক্ষা করে চলে ।
আমরা তাদেরকে সৃষ্টি করেছি এবং তাদের গঠন সুদৃঢ় করেছি । আর আমরা যখন ইচ্ছা করব , তখন তাদের পরিবর্তে তাদের অনুরূপ (এক জাতিকে) প্রতিষ্ঠিত করব ।
নিশ্চয় এটা এক উপদেশ, অতএব যার ইচ্ছা সে তার রবের পথ অবলম্বন করুক ।

Indeed, these [disbelievers] love the immediate and leave behind them a grave Day.
We have created them and strengthened their forms, and when We will, We can change their likenesses with [complete] alteration.
Indeed, this is a reminder, so he who wills may take to his Lord a way

Surah 87 | Al-A'la | আল-আ'লা | Verse: 6 - 17

শীঘ্রই আমরা আপনাকে , ( হে মুহাম্মাদ) , পাঠ করাব, ফলে আপনি ভুলবেন না ,
আল্লাহ যা ইচ্ছে করেন তা ছাড়া। নিশ্চয় তিনি জানেন যা প্ৰকাশ্য ও যা গোপনীয়।
আর আমরা আপনার জন্য সুগম করে দেব সহজ পথ।
অতঃপর উপদেশ যদি ফলপ্রসূ হয় তবে উপদেশ দিন ;
যে ভয় করে সেই উপদেশ গ্ৰহণ করবে।
আর তা উপেক্ষা করবে যে নিতান্ত হতভাগ্য,
সে মহা অগ্নিতে প্রবেশ করবে।
তারপর সেখানে সে মরবেও না বাঁচবেও না।
অবশ্যই সাফল্য লাভ করবে যে পরিশুদ্ধ হয়।
এবং তার রবের নাম স্মরণ করে ও সালাত কায়েম করে।
কিন্তু তোমরা দুনিয়ার জীবনকে প্রাধান্য দাও,
অথচ পরকালের জীবনই উত্তম ও চিরস্থায়ী।

We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget,
Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden.
And We will ease you toward ease.
So remind, if the reminder should benefit;
He who fears [Allah] will be reminded.
But the wretched one will avoid it
[He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire,
Neither dying therein nor living.
He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself
And mentions the name of his Lord and prays.
But you prefer the worldly life,
While the Hereafter is better and more enduring.
