  • যখন একজন মানুষ মারা যায়, তার সব কাজ শেষ হয়ে যায় , তিনটি ব্যতিক্রম ছাড়া: সদকা জারিয়া (চলমান দান) , এমন জ্ঞান যা থেকে উপকার পাওয়া যায়, এবং একটি সৎ সন্তান যে তার জন্য দোয়া করে । | মুহাম্মদ (সাঃ) ; হাদিস - সহিহ মুসলিম | When a person dies, his works end, except for three: ongoing charity, knowledge that is benefited from, and a righteous child who prays for him. | Prophet Mohammed (PBUH); Hadith - Sahih Muslim |

  • যে ব্যক্তি ভাল কাজের জন্য সুপারিশ করবে, তার জন্য তাতে (সাওয়াবের) অংশ আছে এবং যে মন্দ কাজের জন্য সুপারিশ করবে, তার জন্য তাতে অংশ আছে । আর আল্লাহ সব কিছুর উপর নজর রাখেন । | সূরাঃ ৪ , আন-নিসা , আয়াতঃ : ৮৫ | Whoever intercedes for a good cause will have a reward therefrom; and whoever intercedes for an evil cause will have a burden therefrom. And ever is Allah, over all things, a Keeper. | Surah 4 , An-Nisa , Verse: 85 |

আল্লাহর নামে, যিনি পরম করুণাময়, পরম দয়ালু

Surah 15 | Al-Hijr | আল-হিজর | Verse: 61 - 77

  • অতঃপর ফেরেশতাগণ যখন লুত পরিবারের কাছে আসল,, তখন লূত বললঃ তোমরাতো অপরিচিত লোক। তারা ( ফেরেশতাগণ )বলল, ‘আমরা তা-ই নিয়ে এসেছি যে ব্যাপারে এ লোকেরা সন্দেহে পতিত ছিল। তোমার কাছে আমরা সত্য নিয়েই এসেছি, আর আমরা অবশ্যই সত্যবাদী। ‘সুতরাং তুমি তোমার পরিবার নিয়ে বেরিয়ে পড় রাতের একাংশে, আর তুমি তাদের পেছনে চল, আর তোমাদের কেউ পেছনে ফিরে তাকাবে না এবং যেভাবে তোমাদের নির্দেশ করা হয়েছে সেভাবেই চলতে থাকবে’। আর আমরা তাকে এ বিষয়ে ফয়সালা জানিয়ে দিলাম যে, নিশ্চয় তাদেরকে ভোরে সমূলে বিনাশ করা হবে। শহরের লোকেরা আনন্দ সহকারে (লূতের ঘরে) উপস্থিত হল। লূত বলল, ‘এরা আমার মেহমান, কাজেই তোমরা আমাকে লাঞ্ছিত করো না। ‘তোমরা আল্লাহকে ভয় কর এবং আমাকে লাঞ্ছিত করো না’। তারা বলল, আমরা কি দুনিয়াসুদ্ধ লোককে আশ্রয় দিতে তোমাকে নিষেধ করিনি? লূত বললঃ একান্তই যদি তোমরা কিছু করতে চাও তাহলে আমার এই কন্যাগণ রয়েছে (তবে বিবাহের মাধ্যমে বৈধ উপায়ে কর)। [ হে মুহাম্মদ ], তোমার জীবনের কসম, নিশ্চয় তারা তাদেরকে নেশায় ঘুরপাক খাচ্ছিল। অতএব সূর্যোদয়কালে বিকট আওয়াজ তাদের পেয়ে বসল। আর আমি সে জনপদকে উল্টে (উপর-নীচ) করে দিলাম এবং তাদের উপর বর্ষণ করলাম পোড়া মাটির পাথর। এতে অবশ্যই অন্তর্দৃষ্টিসম্পন্ন লোকেদের জন্য অনেক নিদর্শন রয়েছে। ওটা লোক চলাচলের পথপার্শ্বে এখনও বিদ্যমান। নিশ্চয় এতে মুমিনদের জন্য রয়েছে নিদর্শন।

  • And when the messengers ( the angel) came to the family of Lot, He said, "Indeed, you are people unknown." They ( the angel) said, "But we have come to you with that about which they were disputing, And we have come to you with truth, and indeed, we are truthful. So set out with your family during a portion of the night and follow behind them and let not anyone among you look back and continue on to where you are commanded." And We conveyed to him [the decree] of that matter: that those [sinners] would be eliminated by early morning. And the people of the city came [ house of Lut (AS) ] rejoicing. [Lot] said, "Indeed, these are my guests, so do not shame me. And fear Allah and do not disgrace me." They said, "Have we not forbidden you from [protecting] people?" [Lot] said, "These are my daughters - if you would be doers [of lawful marriage]." By your life, [O Muhammad], indeed they were, in their intoxication, wandering blindly. So the shriek seized them at sunrise. And We made the highest part [of the city] its lowest and rained upon them stones of hard clay. Indeed in that are signs for those who discern. And indeed, those cities are [situated] on an established road. Indeed in that is a sign for the believers.
