Surah 112: Al Ikhlas

| আমরা সবসময় মনে রাখি | We Always Remember |

| মুহাম্মদ (সাঃ) ; হাদিস - সহিহ মুসলিম | When a person dies, his works end, except for three: ongoing charity, knowledge that is benefited from, and a righteous child who prays for him. | Prophet Mohammed (PBUH); Hadith - Sahih Muslim |

| সূরাঃ ৪ , আন-নিসা , আয়াতঃ : ৮৫ | Whoever intercedes for a good cause will have a reward therefrom; and whoever intercedes for an evil cause will have a burden therefrom. And ever is Allah, over all things, a Keeper. | Surah 4 , An-Nisa , Verse: 85 |

Surah Al-Ikhlas, the 112th chapter of the Quran, was revealed in Makkah and is one of the shortest yet most profound Surahs. The name "Al-Ikhlas" means "The Purity" or "The Sincerity," and this Surah is also known as the Surah of Tawhid (the oneness of Allah). It is a powerful declaration of the oneness and uniqueness of Allah, refuting any form of polytheism or associating partners with Him.

This Surah holds a special place in the hearts of Muslims, as it beautifully encapsulates the essence of Islamic monotheism. It is often recited in daily prayers and other acts of worship to affirm the belief in one God. The Surah emphasizes that Allah is unique in His attributes, He does not have any offspring, nor was He born, and there is nothing comparable to Him.

What Allah Says

He is "Ahad" (One), meaning that He is unique and alone in His divine nature. Allah is "As-Samad" (the Eternal Refuge), meaning that He is self-sufficient and everyone depends on Him, while He depends on no one. The Surah also negates the idea that Allah has a son or was born Himself, emphasizing that He has no beginning and no end. Finally, the Surah concludes by stating that there is nothing and no one like Allah; He is beyond comparison.
