যখন একজন মানুষ মারা যায়, তার সব কাজ শেষ হয়ে যায় , তিনটি ব্যতিক্রম ছাড়া: সদকা জারিয়া (চলমান দান) , এমন জ্ঞান যা থেকে উপকার পাওয়া যায়, এবং একটি সৎ সন্তান যে তার জন্য দোয়া করে । | মুহাম্মদ (সাঃ) ; হাদিস - সহিহ মুসলিম | When a person dies, his works end, except for three: ongoing charity, knowledge that is benefited from, and a righteous child who prays for him. | Prophet Mohammed (PBUH); Hadith - Sahih Muslim |
যে ব্যক্তি ভাল কাজের জন্য সুপারিশ করবে, তার জন্য তাতে (সাওয়াবের) অংশ আছে এবং যে মন্দ কাজের জন্য সুপারিশ করবে, তার জন্য তাতে অংশ আছে । আর আল্লাহ সব কিছুর উপর নজর রাখেন । | সূরাঃ ৪ , আন-নিসা , আয়াতঃ : ৮৫ | Whoever intercedes for a good cause will have a reward therefrom; and whoever intercedes for an evil cause will have a burden therefrom. আল্লাহর নামে, যিনি পরম করুণাময়, পরম দয়ালু

Surah 21 | Al-Anbiya | আল-আম্বিয়া | Verse: 89 - 90

আর স্মরণ করুন যাকারিয়্যাকে, যখন তিনি তার রবকে ডেকে বলেছিলেন, হে আমার রব! আমাকে একা (নিঃসন্তান) রেখে দিবেন না, আপনি তো সর্বোত্তম উত্তরাধিকারী ।
অতঃপর আমরা তার ডাকে সাড়া দিয়েছিলাম এবং তাকে দান করেছিলাম ইয়াহইয়া, আর তার জন্য তার স্ত্রীকে (গৰ্ভধারণের) যোগ্যা করেছিলাম । তারা সৎকাজে প্রতিযোগিতা করত, আর তারা আমাদেরকে ডাকত আগ্ৰহ ও ভীতির সাথে এবং তারা ছিল আমাদের নিকট ভীত-অবনত ।

And [mention] Zechariah, when he called to his Lord, "My Lord, do not leave me alone [with no heir], while you are the best of inheritors."
So We responded to him, and We gave to him John, and amended for him his wife. Indeed, they used to hasten to good deeds and supplicate Us in hope and fear, and they were to Us humbly submissive.
