যখন একজন মানুষ মারা যায়, তার সব কাজ শেষ হয়ে যায় , তিনটি ব্যতিক্রম ছাড়া: সদকা জারিয়া (চলমান দান) , এমন জ্ঞান য া থেকে উপকার পাওয়া যায়, এবং একটি সৎ সন্তান যে তার জন্য দোয়া করে । | মুহাম্মদ (সাঃ) ; হাদিস - সহিহ মুসলিম | When a person dies, his works end, except for three: ongoing charity, knowledge that is benefited from, and a righteous child who prays for him. | Prophet Mohammed (PBUH); Hadith - Sahih Muslim |

যে ব্যক্তি ভাল কাজের জন্য সুপারিশ করবে, তার জন্য তাতে (সাওয়াবের) অংশ আছে এবং যে মন্দ কাজের জন্য সুপারিশ করবে, তার জন্য তাতে অংশ আছে । আর আল্লাহ সব কিছুর উপর নজর রাখেন । | সূরাঃ ৪ , আন-নিসা , আয়াতঃ : ৮৫ | Whoever intercedes for a good cause will have a reward therefrom; and whoever intercedes for an evil cause will have a burden therefrom. In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
আল্লাহর নামে, যিনি পরম করুণাময়, পরম দয়ালু
- যাকারিয়া (আঃ) ছিলেন বানী ইসরাঈলের একজন নবী এবং ইয়াহইয়া (আঃ) এর পিতা। তিনি কাঠমিস্ত্রির কাজ করতেন, এবং এই পেশাই ছিল তাঁর জীবিকার একমাত্র উপায়।
- Zakariya (AS) was a prophet of Bani Israel. The father of Yahya (John the Baptist). He worked as a carpenter, and this profession was his only means of livelihood.
Surah 19 | Maryam | মারইয়াম | Verse: 1 - 10
- কাফ-হা-ইয়া-আঈন-সোয়াদ ।
- এটা আপনার রব-এর অনুগ্রহের বিবরণ তার বান্দা যাকারিয়্যার প্রতি ,
- যখন তিনি তার রবকে ডেকেছিলেন নিভৃতে,
- তিনি বলেছিলেন, হে আমার রব! আমার অস্থি দুর্বল হয়েছে, বার্ধক্যে আমার মাথা শুভ্রোজ্জ্বল হয়েছে; হে আমার রব! আপনাকে ডেকে আমি কখনো ব্যৰ্থকাম হইনি।
- আর আমি আশংকা করি আমার পর আমার স্বগোত্রীয়দের সম্পর্কে; আমার স্ত্রী বন্ধ্যা। কাজেই আপনি আপনার কাছ থেকে আমাকে দান করুন উত্তরাধিকারী,
- যে আমার উত্তরাধিকারিত্ব করবে এবং উত্তরাধিকারিত্ব করবে ইয়াকুবের বংশের এবং হে আমার রব! তাকে করুন আপনার সন্তুষ্টির পাত্র।
- তিনি ( আল্লাহ ) বললেন, হে যাকারিয়্যা! আমরা আপনাকে এক পুত্ৰ সন্তানের সুসংবাদ দিচ্ছি, তার নাম হবে ইয়াহইয়া; এ নামে আগে আমরা কারো নামকরণ করিনি।
- তিনি (যাকারিয়্যা ) বললেন, হে আমার রব! কেমন করে আমার পুত্র হবে যখন আমার স্ত্রী বন্ধ্যা ও আমি বার্ধক্যের শেষ সীমায় উপনীত!
- তিনি (ফেরেশতা) বললেন, এরূপই হবে। আপনার রব বললেন, এটা আমার জন্য সহজ; আমি তো আগে আপনাকে সৃষ্টি করেছি। যখন আপনি কিছুই ছিলেন না।
- যাকারিয়্যা বললেন, হে আমার রব! আমাকে একটি নিদর্শন দিন। তিনি বললেন, আপনার নিদর্শন এ যে, আপনি সুস্থ থাকা সত্বেও কারো সাথে তিন দিন কথাবার্তা বলবেন না।
- Kaf, Ha, Ya, 'Ayn, Sad.
- [This is] a mention of the mercy of your Lord to His servant Zechariah
- When he called to his Lord a private supplication.
- He said, "My Lord, indeed my bones have weakened, and my head has filled with white, and never have I been in my supplication to You, my Lord, unhappy.
- And indeed, I fear the successors after me, and my wife has been barren, so give me from Yourself an heir
- Who will inherit me and inherit from the family of Jacob. And make him, my Lord, pleasing [to You]."
- [He was told], "O Zechariah, indeed We give you good tidings of a boy whose name will be John. We have not assigned to any before [this] name."
- He said [Zechariah] , "My Lord, how will I have a boy when my wife has been barren and I have reached extreme old age?"
- [An angel] said, "Thus [it will be]; your Lord says, 'It is easy for Me, for I created you before, while you were nothing.' "
- [Zechariah] said, "My Lord, make for me a sign." He said, "Your sign is that you will not speak to the people for three nights, [being] sound."
Surah 21 | Al-Anbiya | আল-আম্বিয়া | Verse: 89 - 90
- আর স্মরণ করুন যাকারিয়্যাকে, যখন তিনি তার রবকে ডেকে বলেছিলেন, হে আমার রব! আমাকে একা (নিঃসন্তান) রেখে দিবেন না, আপনি তো সর্বোত্তম উত্তরাধিকারী ।
- অতঃপর আমরা তার ডাকে সাড়া দিয়েছিলাম এবং তাকে দান করেছিলাম ইয়াহইয়া, আর তার জন্য তার স্ত্রীকে (গৰ্ভধারণের) যোগ্যা করেছিলাম । তারা সৎকাজে প্রতিযোগিতা করত, আর তারা আমাদেরকে ডাকত আগ্ৰহ ও ভীতির সাথে এবং তারা ছিল আমাদের নিকট ভীত-অবনত ।
- And [mention] Zechariah, when he called to his Lord, "My Lord, do not leave me alone [with no heir], while you are the best of inheritors."
- So We responded to him, and We gave to him John, and amended for him his wife. Indeed, they used to hasten to good deeds and supplicate Us in hope and fear, and they were to Us humbly submissive.
