  • যে ব্যক্তি ভাল কাজের জন্য সুপারিশ করবে, তার জন্য তাতে (সাওয়াবের) অংশ আছে এবং যে মন্দ কাজের জন্য সুপারিশ করবে, তার জন্য তাতে অংশ আছে । আর আল্লাহ সব কিছুর উপর নজর রাখেন । | সূরাঃ ৪ , আন-নিসা , আয়াতঃ : ৮৫ | Whoever intercedes for a good cause will have a reward therefrom; and whoever intercedes for an evil cause will have a burden therefrom. In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
আল্লাহর নামে, যিনি পরম করুণাময়, পরম দয়ালু

  • মারইয়াম ছিলেন ঈসা (আঃ)-এর মা, এবং কুরআনে তাঁকে হারুন (আঃ)-এর বোন হিসেবে উল্লেখ করা হয়েছে।
  • Maryam was the mother of Isa /Jesus (AS), and in the Quran, she is referred to as the sister of Harun (AS).

Surah 19 | Maryam | মারইয়াম | Verse: 16 - 40

  • (হে রসূল!), আর স্মরণ করুন। এ কিতাবে মারইয়ামকে, যখন সে তার পরিবারবর্গ থেকে পৃথক হয়ে নিরালায় পূর্ব দিকে এক স্থানে আশ্রয় নিল,
  • অতঃপর সে তাদের নিকট থেকে নিজেকে আড়াল করল। তখন আমরা তার কাছে আমাদের রূহকে (জিবরীল) পাঠালাম, সে তার নিকট পূর্ণ মানবাকৃতিতে আত্মপ্ৰকাশ করল।
  • মার্‌ইয়াম বলল, আমি তোমার থেকে দয়াময়ের আশ্রয় প্রার্থনা করছি, যদি তুমি আল্লাহকে ভয় কর’ (তবে আমার নিকট এসো না) ।’
  • সে বলল, ‘আমি তো তোমার প্রতিপালক-প্রেরিত (দূত) মাত্র; তোমাকে এক পবিত্র পুত্র দান করবার জন্য (আমি প্রেরিত হয়েছি)।’
  • মারইয়াম বলল, কেমন করে আমার পুত্র হবে, যখন আমাকে কোন পুরুষ স্পর্শ করেনি এবং আমি ব্যভিচারিণীও নই!
  • সে বলল, ‘এভাবেই। তোমার রব বলেছেন, এটা আমার জন্য সহজ। আর যেন আমি তাকে করে দেই মানুষের জন্য নিদর্শন এবং আমার পক্ষ থেকে রহমত। আর এটি একটি সিদ্ধান্তকৃত বিষয়’।
  • অতঃপর সে তাকে গর্ভে ধারণ করল এবং তা নিয়ে দূরবর্তী একটি স্থানে চলে গেল।
  • অতঃপর প্রসব-বেদনা তাকে এক খেজুর গাছের নিচে আশ্রয় নিতে বাধ্য করল। সে বলল, হায়, এর আগে যদি আমি মরে যেতাম এবং মানুষের স্মৃতি থেকে সম্পূর্ণ হারিয়ে যেতাম!
  • তখন ফেরেশতা (জিবরীল) তাঁর নিচ থেকে ডেকে তাকে বলল, তুমি পেরেশান হয়ো না , তোমার পাদদেশে তোমার রব এক নহর সৃষ্টি করেছেন;
  • আর তুমি তোমার দিকে খেজুর-গাছের কাণ্ডে নাড়া দাও, সেটা তোমার উপর তাজা-পাকা খেজুর ফেলবে।
  • অতঃপর তুমি খাও, পান কর এবং চোখ জুড়াও। আর যদি তুমি কোন লোককে দেখতে পাও তাহলে বলে দিও, ‘আমি পরম করুণাময়ের জন্য চুপ থাকার মানত করেছি। অতএব আজ আমি কোন মানুষের সাথে কিছুতেই কথা বলব না’।
  • তারপর সে সন্তানকে নিয়ে তার সম্প্রদায়ের কাছে উপস্থিত হল; তারা বলল, হে মারইয়াম! তুমি তো এক অঘটন করে বসেছ।
  • হে হারূনের বোন! তোমার পিতা অসৎ ব্যক্তি ছিল না এবং তোমার মা'ও ছিল না ব্যভিচারিণী।
  • তখন মারইয়াম সন্তানের প্রতি ইংগিত করল। তারা বলল, যে কোলের শিশু তার সাথে আমরা কেমন করে কথা বলব?
  • শিশুটি বলল, (ঈসা) , আমি তো আল্লাহর বান্দা। তিনি আমাকে কিতাব দিয়েছেন, আমাকে নবী করেছেন,
    • ‘আর যেখানেই আমি থাকি না কেন তিনি আমাকে বরকতময় করেছেন এবং যতদিন আমি জীবিত থাকি তিনি আমাকে সালাত ও যাকাত আদায় করতে আদেশ করেছেন’।
  • আর আমাকে আমার মায়ের প্রতি অনুগত করেছেন এবং তিনি আমাকে অহঙ্কারী, অবাধ্য করেননি’।
  • ‘আর আমার উপর শান্তি, যেদিন আমি জন্মেছি এবং যেদিন আমি মারা যাব আর যেদিন আমাকে জীবিত অবস্থায় উঠানো হবে’।
  • এই হচ্ছে মারইয়াম পুত্র ঈসা। এটাই সঠিক বক্তব্য, যে বিষয়ে লোকেরা সন্দেহ পোষণ করছে।
  • আল্লাহ এমন নন যে, কোন সন্তান গ্রহণ করবেন, তিনি পবিত্ৰ মহিমাময়। তিনি যখন কিছু স্থির করেন, তখন সেটার জন্য বলেন, ‘হও’ তাতেই তা হয়ে যায়।
  • আর নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ আমার রব, ও তোমাদের রব; কাজেই তোমরা তাঁর ইবাদাত কর, এটাই সরল পথ।
  • অতঃপর দলগুলো নিজেদের মধ্যে মতানৈক্য সৃষ্টি করল, কাজেই দুর্ভোগ কাফেরদের জন্য মহাদিবস প্ৰত্যক্ষকালে।

[ এখানে দলগুলি বলতে খ্রিষ্টান ও ইয়াহুদীদের দলকে বুঝানো হয়েছে; যারা ঈসার ব্যাপারে মতভেদ করেছিল। ইয়াহুদীরা বলেছিল, তিনি জাদুকর ও জারজ সন্তান; অর্থাৎ ইউসুফ (যোসেফ) নাজ্জারের অবৈধ সন্তান। খ্রিষ্টানদের মধ্যে প্রোটেষ্ট্যান্টদের বক্তব্য ঈসা আল্লাহর পুত্র। ক্যাথলিকরা বলে, তিনি তিন আল্লাহর তৃতীয়জন। অর্থোডক্সরা বলে তিনি স্বয়ং আল্লাহ। এভাবে ইয়াহুদীরা তাঁকে হীন জ্ঞান করে, আর খ্রিষ্টানরা তাঁর ব্যাপারে বাড়াবাড়ি করে। ঐ সমস্ত কাফেরদের জন্য ভীষণ দুর্দশা রয়েছে, যারা ঈসা (আঃ)-এর ব্যাপারে মতভেদ এবং অতিরঞ্জন ও অবজ্ঞা প্রদর্শন করেছে। কিয়ামতের দিন যখন উপস্থিত হবে, তখন তারা ধ্বংস হবে। - তাফসীরে আহসানুল বায়ান ]

  • যেদিন তারা আমার কাছে আসবে সেদিন তারা কতই না স্পষ্টভাবে শুনতে পাবে এবং দেখতে পাবে! কিন্তু যালিমরা আজ স্পষ্ট ভ্রষ্টতার মধ্যে রয়েছে।
  • আর , (হে রসূল!), তাদেরকে সতর্ক করে দিন পরিতাপের দিন সম্বন্ধে, যখন সব সিদ্ধান্ত হয়ে যাবে। অথচ তারা রয়েছে গাফলতিতে নিমজ্জিত এবং তারা ঈমান আনছে না।
  • নিশ্চয় যমীন ও তার উপর যারা আছে তাদের চূড়ান্ত মালিকানা আমাদেরই রইবে এবং আমাদেরই কাছে তারা প্রত্যাবর্তিত হবে।
  • And mention, [O Muhammad], in the Book [the story of] Mary, when she withdrew from her family to a place toward the east
  • And she took, in seclusion from them, a screen. Then We sent to her Our Angel, and he represented himself to her as a well-proportioned man.
  • She said, "Indeed, I seek refuge in the Most Merciful from you, [so leave me], if you should be fearing of Allah."
  • He said, "I am only the messenger of your Lord to give you [news of] a pure boy."
  • She said, "How can I have a boy while no man has touched me and I have not been unchaste?"
  • He said, "Thus [it will be]; your Lord says, 'It is easy for Me, and We will make him a sign to the people and a mercy from Us. And it is a matter [already] decreed.' "
  • So she conceived him, and she withdrew with him to a remote place.
  • And the pains of childbirth drove her to the trunk of a palm tree. She said, "Oh, I wish I had died before this and was in oblivion, forgotten."
  • But he called her from below her, "Do not grieve; your Lord has provided beneath you a stream.
  • And shake toward you the trunk of the palm tree; it will drop upon you ripe, fresh dates.
  • So eat and drink and be contented. And if you see from among humanity anyone, say, 'Indeed, I have vowed to the Most Merciful abstention, so I will not speak today to [any] man.' "
  • Then she brought him to her people, carrying him. They said, "O Mary, you have certainly done a thing unprecedented.
  • O sister of Aaron, your father was not a man of evil, nor was your mother unchaste."
  • So she pointed to him. They said, "How can we speak to one who is in the cradle a child?
  • [Jesus] said, "Indeed, I am the servant of Allah. He has given me the Scripture and made me a prophet.
  • And He has made me blessed wherever I am and has enjoined upon me prayer and zakah as long as I remain alive
  • And [made me] dutiful to my mother, and He has not made me a wretched tyrant.
  • And peace is on me the day I was born and the day I will die and the day I am raised alive."
  • That is Jesus, the son of Mary - the word of truth about which they are in dispute.
  • It is not [befitting] for Allah to take a son; exalted is He! When He decrees an affair, He only says to it, "Be," and it is.
  • [Jesus said], "And indeed, Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him. That is a straight path."
  • Then the factions differed [concerning Jesus] from among them, so woe to those who disbelieved - from the scene of a tremendous Day.

[ Here, the term "groups" refers to the Christians and Jews who disagreed about Isa (AS). The Jews claimed that he was a sorcerer and an illegitimate child, alleging that he was the unlawful son of Joseph the Carpenter (Yusuf Najjar). Among the Christians, the Protestants believe that Isa is the son of Allah, the Catholics claim that he is the third of three gods (Trinity), and the Orthodox Christians assert that he is Allah Himself. Thus, the Jews belittled him, while the Christians exaggerated his status. A severe punishment awaits those disbelievers who disputed about Isa (AS), engaging in both exaggeration and denial. When the Day of Judgment arrives, they will face destruction. - Tafseer Ahsanul Bayan ]

  • How [clearly] they will hear and see the Day they come to Us, but the wrongdoers today are in clear error.
  • And warn them, [O Muhammad], of the Day of Regret, when the matter will be concluded; and [yet], they are in [a state of] heedlessness, and they do not believe.
  • Indeed, it is We who will inherit the earth and whoever is on it, and to Us they will be returned.

Surah 21 | Al-Anbiya | আল-আম্বিয়া | Verse: 91

  • এবং স্মরণ করুন সে নারীকে [ মারয়্যাম (আঃ) ] , যে নিজ লজ্জাস্থানের হেফাযত করেছিল, অতঃপর তার মধ্যে আমরা আমাদের রূহ ফুঁকে দিলাম এবং তাকে ও তার পুত্ৰকে [ ঈসা (আঃ)] করেছিলাম সৃষ্টিজগতের জন্য এক নিদর্শন ।
  • And [mention] the one ,[Maryam (AS)] , who guarded her chastity, so We blew into her [garment] through Our angel [Gabriel], and We made her and her son [ Isa /Jesus (AS)] a sign for the worlds.

Surah 23 | Al-Mu'minun | আল-মুমিনুন Verse: 50

  • আর আমরা মারইয়াম-পুত্র ও তার জননীকে করেছিলাম এক নিদর্শন এবং তাদেরকে আশ্রয় দিয়েছিলাম এক অবস্থানযোগ্য ও প্রস্রবণবিশিষ্ট উচ্চ ভূমিতে ।
  • And We made the son of Mary and his mother a sign and sheltered them within a high ground having level [areas] and flowing water .

Surah 43 | Az-Zukhruf | আয-যুখরুফ | Verse: 57 - 64

  • আর যখনই মারইয়াম-তনয়ের দৃষ্টান্ত পেশ করা হয় , তখন আপনার সম্প্রদায় তাতে শোরগোল আরম্ভ করে দেয় ।
  • আর তারা বলে , আমাদের উপাস্যগুলো শ্ৰেষ্ঠ না ঈসা ? এরা শুধু বাক-বিতণ্ডার উদ্দেশ্যেই তাকে আপনার সামনে পেশ করে । বস্তুতঃ এরা এক ঝগড়াটে সম্প্রদায় ।
  • তিনি (ঈসা) তো কেবল আমারই এক বান্দা , যার উপর আমরা অনুগ্রহ করেছিলাম এবং তাকে বানিয়েছিলাম বনী ইসরাঈলের জন্য দৃষ্টান্ত ।
  • আর যদি আমরা ইচ্ছে করতাম তবে তোমাদের পরিবর্তে ফিরিশতাদেরকে পৃথিবীর উত্তরাধিকারী করতে পারতাম ।
  • আর নিশ্চয় ঈসা কিয়ামতের নিশ্চিত নিদর্শন (দুনিয়াতে পুনরায় আগমন) ; কাজেই তোমরা কিয়ামতে সন্দেহ করো না । আর তোমরা আমারই অনুসরণ করা । এটাই সরল পথ ।
  • শয়তান যেন তোমাদেরকে কিছুতেই বাধা না দেয়, নিশ্চয় সে তোমাদের প্ৰকাশ্য শক্ৰ ।
  • ঈসা যখন স্পষ্ট নিদর্শনসহ আসল, তখন তিনি বলেছিলেন , আমি অবশ্যই তোমাদের কাছে এসেছি প্রজ্ঞাসহ এবং তোমরা যে বিষয়ে মতভেদ করছ তা স্পষ্ট করে দেয়ার জন্য । সুতরাং তোমরা আল্লাহকে ভয় কর এবং আমার অনুসরণ কর ।
  • নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ, তিনি আমার রব এবং তোমাদেরও রব, অতএব তোমরা তাঁর ইবাদাত কর ; এটাই সরল পথ ।
  • And when the son of Mary was presented as an example, immediately your people laughed aloud.
  • And they said, "Are your gods better, or is he?" They did not present the comparison except for [mere] argument. But, [in fact], they are a people prone to dispute.
  • Jesus was not but a servant upon whom We bestowed favor, and We made him an example for the Children of Israel.
  • And if We willed, We could have made [instead] of you angels succeeding [one another] on the earth.
  • And indeed, Jesus will be [a sign for] knowledge of the Hour, so be not in doubt of it, and follow Me. This is a straight path.
  • And never let Satan avert you. Indeed, he is to you a clear enemy.
  • And when Jesus brought clear proofs, he said, "I have come to you with wisdom and to make clear to you some of that over which you differ, so fear Allah and obey me.
  • Indeed, Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him. This is a straight path."
