  • যখন একজন মানুষ মারা যায়, তার সব কাজ শেষ হয়ে যায় , তিনটি ব্যতিক্রম ছাড়া: সদকা জারিয়া (চলমান দান) , এমন জ্ঞান যা থেকে উপকার পাওয়া যায়, এবং একটি সৎ সন্তান যে তার জন্য দোয়া করে । | মুহাম্মদ (সাঃ) ; হাদিস - সহিহ মুসলিম | When a person dies, his works end, except for three: ongoing charity, knowledge that is benefited from, and a righteous child who prays for him. | Prophet Mohammed (PBUH); Hadith - Sahih Muslim |

  • যে ব্যক্তি ভাল কাজের জন্য সুপারিশ করবে, তার জন্য তাতে (সাওয়াবের) অংশ আছে এবং যে মন্দ কাজের জন্য সুপারিশ করবে, তার জন্য তাতে অংশ আছে । আর আল্লাহ সব কিছুর উপর নজর রাখেন । | সূরাঃ ৪ , আন-নিসা , আয়াতঃ : ৮৫ | Whoever intercedes for a good cause will have a reward therefrom; and whoever intercedes for an evil cause will have a burden therefrom. আল্লাহর নামে, যিনি পরম করুণাময়, পরম দয়ালু

Surah 18 | Al-Kahf | আল-কাহফ | Verse: 23 - 82

  • আর স্মরণ করুন, যখন মূসা তার সঙ্গী যুবককে, [ ইউশা’ বিন নূন (আঃ) যিনি মূসা (আঃ)-এর মৃত্যুর পর তাঁর স্থলাভিষিক্ত হয়েছিলেন ], বলেছিলেন, দুই সমুদ্রের মিলনস্থলে না পৌঁছা পর্যন্ত আমি চলতেই থাকবো যদিও বছরের পর বছর চলতেও হয় ।
  • অতঃপর তারা উভয়ে যখন দু’সাগরের মিলনস্থলে পৌঁছল তারা নিজেদের মাছের কথা ভুলে গেল; ফলে সেটা সুড়ঙ্গের মত নিজের পথ করে সাগরে নেমে গেল।
  • অতঃপর যখন তারা আরো অগ্রসর হল মূসা তার সঙ্গীকে বললেন, আমাদের দুপুরের খাবার আন, আমরা তো এ সফরে ক্লান্ত হয়ে পড়েছি।
  • সে বলল, আপনি কি লক্ষ্য করেছেন যে, আমরা যখন শিলাখণ্ডে বিশ্রাম করছিলাম , তখন আমি মাছের কথা ভুলে গিয়েছিলাম । সেটার কথা আপনাকে বলতে শয়তানই আমাকে ভুলিয়ে দিয়েছিল আর মাছটি বিস্ময়করভাবে সমুদ্রে তার রাস্তা করে চলে গিয়েছিল ।
  • মূসা বললেন, আমরা তো সে স্থানটিরই অনুসন্ধান করছিলাম(১) তারপর তারা নিজেদের পদচিহ্ন ধরে ফিরে চলল ।
  • এরপর তারা সাক্ষাৎ পেল আমাদের বান্দাদের মধ্যে একজনের, যাকে আমরা আমাদের কাছ থেকে অনুগ্রহ দান করেছিলাম ও আমাদের কাছ থেকে শিক্ষা দিয়েছিলাম এক বিশেষ জ্ঞান।

[ কুরআনুল করীমে ঘটনার মূল ব্যক্তির নাম উল্লেখ করা হয়নি; বরং (আমার বান্দাদের একজন) বলা হয়েছে। বুখারীর হাদীসে তার নাম “খাদির” উল্লেখ করা হয়েছে। খাদির অর্থ সবুজ-শ্যামল। রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম তার নামকরণের কারণ প্রসঙ্গে বলেন যে, তিনি যেখানে বসতেন, সেখানেই ঘাস উৎপন্ন হয়ে যেত, মাটি যেরূপই হোক না কেন। [বুখারীঃ ৩৪০২] খাদির কি নবী ছিলেন, না ওলী ছিলেন, এ ব্যাপারে আলেমদের মধ্যে মতভেদ রয়েছে। তবে গ্রহণযোগ্য আলেমদের মতে, খাদির ‘আলাইহিস সালামও একজন নবী। [ইবন কাসীর] - তাফসীরে জাকারিয়া ]

  • মূসা তাকে বললেন, যে জ্ঞান আপনাকে দান করা হয়েছে তা থেকে আমাকে শিক্ষা দেবেন, যা দ্বারা আমি সঠিক পথ পাব, এ শর্তে আমি আপনার অনুসরণ করব কি?
  • [খাযির (আঃ)], সে বলল, আপনি কিছুতেই আমার সংগে ধৈৰ্য ধারণ করে থাকতে পারবেন না ,
  • আপনি কীভাবে সে বিষয়ে ধৈর্য ধারণ করবেন যা আপনার জ্ঞানের আয়ত্বের বাইরে ?
  • মূসা বললেন, আল্লাহ চাইলে আপনি আমাকে ধৈর্যশীল পাবেন এবং আপনার কোন আদেশ আমি অমান্য করব না।
  • [খাযির (আঃ)], সে বলল , আচ্ছা, আপনি যদি আমার অনুসরণ করবেনই তবে কোন বিষয়ে আমাকে প্রশ্ন করবেন না , যতক্ষণ না আমি সে সম্পর্কে আপনাকে কিছু বলি।
  • অতঃপর উভয়ে চলতে লাগল, অবশেষে যখন তারা নৌকায় আরোহণ করল , তখন সে তাতে ছিদ্র করে দিল । মূসা বললেন, আপনি কি আরোহীদেরকে নিমজ্জিত করার জন্য তাতে ছিদ্র করলেন ? আপনি তো এক গুরুতর অন্যায় কাজ করলেন
  • সে বলল, আমি কি বলিনি যে, আপনি আমার সঙ্গে কিছুতেই ধৈর্য ধারণ করতে পারবেন না?
  • মূসা বললেন, আমার ভুলের জন্য আমাকে অপরাধী করবেন না ও আমার ব্যাপারে অত্যাধিক কঠোরতা অবলম্বন করবেন না।
  • অতঃপর উভয়ে চলতে লাগল, অবশেষে তাদের সাথে এক বালকের সাক্ষাত হলে সে তাকে হত্যা করল। তখন মূসা বললেন, আপনি কি এক নিষ্পাপ জীবন নাশ করলেন, হত্যার অপরাধ ছাড়াই? আপনি তো এক গুরুতর অন্যায় কাজ করলেন!
  • [খাযির (আঃ)], সে বলল, আমি কি আপনাকে বলিনি যে, আপনি আমার সংগে কিছুতেই ধৈর্য ধারণ করতে পারবেন না?
  • মূসা বললেন, এর পর যদি আমি আপনাকে কোন বিষয়ে জিজ্ঞেস করি তবে আপনি আমাকে সংগে রাখবেন না ; আপনার কাছে আমার ওজর-আপত্তি চূড়ান্ত সীমায় পৌঁছে গেছে ।
  • অতঃপর উভয়ে চলতে লাগল; চলতে চলতে তারা এক জনপদের অধিবাসীদের কাছে পৌঁছে তাদের কাছে খাদ্য চাইল ; কিন্তু তারা তাদের মেহমানদারী করতে অস্বীকার করল। অতঃপর সেখানে তারা এক প্রাচীর দেখতে পেল, যা পড়ে যাওয়ার উপক্রম হয়েছিল, তখন সে সেটাকে সুদৃঢ় করে দিল। মূসা বললেন, আপনি তো ইচ্ছে করলে এর জন্য পারিশ্রমিক গ্ৰহণ করতে পারতেন।
  • [খাযির (আঃ)] সে বলল, এখানেই আমার এবং আপনার মধ্যে সম্পর্কচ্ছেদ হল; যে বিষয়ে আপনি ধৈর্য ধারণ করতে পারেননি অচিরেই আমি সেগুলোর তাৎপর্য ব্যাখ্যা করছি ।
  • নৌকাটির ব্যাপার– এটা ছিল কিছু দরিদ্র ব্যক্তির, ওরা সাগরে কাজ করত।; আমি ইচ্ছে করলাম নৌকাটিকে ত্রুটিযুক্ত করতে; কারণ তাদের সামনে ছিল এক রাজা, যে বল প্রয়োগ করে প্রত্যেকটি ভাল নৌকা ছিনিয়ে নিত ।
  • আর কিশোরটি — তার পিতামাতা ছিল মুমিন । অতঃপর আমরা আশংকা করলাম যে, সে সীমালঙ্ঘন ও কুফরীর দ্বারা তাদেরকে অতিষ্ঠা করে তুলবে ।
  • তাই আমরা চাইলাম যে, তাদের রব যেন তাদেরকে তার পরিবর্তে (এমন) এক সন্তান দান করেন, যে হবে পবিত্রতায় উত্তম ও দয়া-মায়ায় ঘনিষ্ঠতর ।
  • আর ঐ প্রাচীরটি— সেটা ছিল নগরবাসী দুই ইয়াতিম কিশোরের এবং এর নীচে আছে তাদের গুপ্তধন আর তাদের পিতা ছিল সৎকর্মপরায়ণ। কাজেই আপনার রব তাদের প্রতি দয়াপরবশ হয়ে ইচ্ছে করলেন যে, তারা বয়ঃপ্ৰাপ্ত হোক এবং তারা তাদের ধনভাণ্ডার উদ্ধার করুক। আর আমি নিজ থেকে কিছু করিনি; আপনি যে বিষয়ে ধৈর্য ধারণে অপারগ হয়েছিলেন, এটাই তার ব্যাখ্যা ।
  • And [mention] when Moses said to his servant, "I will not cease [traveling] until I reach the junction of the two seas or continue for a long period."
  • But when they reached the junction between them, they forgot their fish, and it took its course into the sea, slipping away.
  • So when they had passed beyond it, [Moses] said to his boy, "Bring us our morning meal. We have certainly suffered in this, our journey, [much] fatigue."
  • He said, "Did you see when we retired to the rock? Indeed, I forgot [there] the fish. And none made me forget it except Satan - that I should mention it. And it took its course into the sea amazingly".
  • [Moses] said, "That is what we were seeking." So they returned, following their footprints.
  • And they found a servant from among Our servants to whom we had given mercy from us and had taught him from Us a [certain] knowledge.

[ The Qur'an does not mention the specific name of the central figure in this narrative; instead, he is referred to as "one of Our servants." However, in Sahih Bukhari, his name is mentioned as "Khidr," which means "green." The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) explained that he was given this name because wherever he sat, the surrounding area would become lush and green, regardless of the terrain. There is scholarly debate regarding whether Khidr was a prophet or a saint. Many reputable scholars, consider Khidr (peace be upon him) to have been a prophet. - Ibn Kathir, - Tafsir Zakaria]

  • Moses said to him, " May I follow you on [the condition] that you teach me from what you have been taught of sound judgement? "
  • He said, "Indeed, with me you will never be able to have patience.
  • And how can you have patience for what you do not encompass in knowledge ?
  • [Moses] said, "You will find me, if Allah wills, patient, and I will not disobey you in [any] order."
  • He said, "Then if you follow me, do not ask me about anything until I make to you about it mention."
  • So they set out, until when they had embarked on the ship, al-Khidh r tore it open. [Moses] said, "Have you torn it open to drown its people? You have certainly done a grave thing."
  • [Al-Khidhr (PBUH) ] said, "Did I not say that with me you would never be able to have patience?"
  • [Moses] said, "Do not blame me for what I forgot and do not cover me in my matter with difficulty."
  • So they set out, until when they met a boy, al-Khidhr (PBUH) killed him. [Moses] said, "Have you killed a pure soul for other than [having killed] a soul? You have certainly done a deplorable thing."
  • [Al-Khidhr (PBUH)] said, "Did I not tell you that with me you would never be able to have patience?"
  • [Moses] said, "If I should ask you about anything after this, then do not keep me as a companion. You have obtained from me an excuse."
  • So they set out, until when they came to the people of a town, they asked its people for food, but they refused to offer them hospitality. And they found therein a wall about to collapse, so al-Khidh r restored it. [Moses] said, "If you wished, you could have taken for it a payment."
  • [Al-Khidh (PBUH) ] said, "This is parting between me and you. I will inform you of the interpretation of that about which you could not have patience.
  • As for the ship, it belonged to poor people working at sea. So I intended to cause defect in it as there was after them a king who seized every [good] ship by force.
  • And as for the boy, his parents were believers, and we feared that he would overburden them by transgression and disbelief.
  • So we intended that their Lord should substitute for them one better than him in purity and nearer to mercy.
  • And as for the wall, it belonged to two orphan boys in the city, and there was beneath it a treasure for them, and their father had been righteous. So your Lord intended that they reach maturity and extract their treasure, as a mercy from your Lord. And I did it not of my own accord. That is the interpretation of that about which you could not have patience."
