যে ব্যক্তি ভাল কাজের জন্য সুপারিশ করবে, তার জন্য তাতে (সাওয়াবের) অংশ আছে এবং যে মন্দ কাজের জন্য সুপারিশ করবে, তার জন্য তাতে অংশ আছে । আর আল্লাহ সব কিছুর উপর নজর রাখেন । | সূরাঃ ৪ , আন-নিসা , আয়াতঃ : ৮৫ | Whoever intercedes for a good cause will have a reward therefrom; and whoever intercedes for an evil cause will have a burden therefrom. - আবদুল্লাহ ইবনে সালাম ইবনে হারিস (ইসলাম গ্রহণের আগে নাম ছিল: হুসাইন ইবনে সালাম )
- তিনি ইয়াসরিব (বর্তমান মদীনা) এর একজন সম্ভ্রান্ত ইহুদি আলেম ছিলেন।
- বনি কাইনুকা গোত্রভুক্ত ছিলেন, ইহুদিদের অন্যতম প্রভাবশালী গোত্র - মদিনায়।
- রাসূলুল্লাহ (সাঃ) যখন মদীনায় হিজরত করে আসেন, তখন আবদুল্লাহ ইবনে সালাম (রা.) তার কথা ও চেহারা দেখে বলেন: " এই চেহারার মানুষ মিথ্যাবাদী হতে পারে না ।"
- তিনি গোপনে রাসূলুল্লাহ (সাঃ) এর সাথে সাক্ষাৎ করেন এবং কুরআনের কিছু আয়াত শুনে ঈমান গ্রহণ করেন ।
- রপর তিনি প্রকাশ্যে ইসলাম গ্রহণ করেন এবং রাসূল (সাঃ) তাকে ইসলামের সত্যতার প্রমাণ হিসেবে মুসলিমদের সামনে পেশ করেন ।
- রাসূল (সাঃ) বলেন : আবদুল্লাহ ইবনে সালাম জান্নাতীদের একজন । - (বুখারি)
- তিনি ছিলেন কুরআন, তাওরাত ও হাদীস সম্পর্কে গভীর জ্ঞানসম্পন্ন ব্যক্তি।
- সাহাবীদের মধ্যে ইহুদি ধর্মতত্ত্ব সম্পর্কে সবচেয়ে বেশি অভিজ্ঞ ছিলেন।
- ইসলাম ও ইহুদি ধর্মের মধ্যে পার্থক্য তুলে ধরতে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা রেখেছেন।
- তিনি ইসলাম গ্রহণের পর ইয়াহুদিদের ইসলামের প্রতি দাওয়াত দিতে সচেষ্ট ছিলেন ।
- তিনি হিজরি ৪৩ বা ৪৪ সালে মৃত্যুবরণ করেন (মতভেদ রয়েছে)।
- Abdullah ibn Salam ibn al-Harith (His name before accepting Islam was Husayn ibn Salam).
- He was a respected Jewish scholar of Yathrib (present-day Madinah).
- He belonged to the Banu Qaynuqa, one of the most influential Jewish tribes in Madinah.
- When the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) migrated to Madinah, Abdullah ibn Salam (RA) saw him and said:"This is not the face of a liar."
- He secretly met the Prophet (PBUH) listened to some verses of the Qur’an, and accepted Islam.
- Later, he publicly embraced Islam, and the Prophet (PBUH) presented him to the Muslims as proof of Islam’s truth.
- The Prophet (PBUH) said: Abdullah ibn Salam is one of the people of Paradise. — (Sahih al-Bukhari)
- He had profound knowledge of the Qur’an, the Torah, and Hadith.
- Among the companions, he was the most knowledgeable about Jewish theology.
- He played an important role in highlighting the differences between Islam and Judaism.
- After accepting Islam, he actively invited the Jews to Islam.
- He passed away in the year 43 or 44 Hijri (there is a slight difference of opinion).

আল্লাহর নামে, যিনি পরম করুণাময়, পরম দয়ালু
Surah 46 | Al-Ahqaf | আল-আহকাফ | Verse: 1 - 10
- হা-মীম ।
- এ কিতাব মহা পরাক্রমশালী , প্রজ্ঞাময় আল্লাহর কাছ থেকে নাযিলকৃত ।
- আসমানসমূহ, যমীন ও এ দু'য়ের মধ্যবর্তী সমস্ত কিছুই আমরা যথাযথ ভাবে ও নির্দিষ্ট সময়ের জন্য সৃষ্টি করেছি । কিন্তু অবিশ্বাসীরা তাদেরকে যে বিষয়ে সতর্ক করা হয়েছে , তা হতে মুখ ফিরিয়ে নেয় ।
- বলুন , তোমরা আল্লাহর পরিবর্তে যাদেরকে ডাক, তাদের কথা ভেবে দেখছ কি ? তারা পৃথিবীতে কি সৃষ্টি করেছে আমাকে দেখাও অথবা আকাশমন্ডলীতে তাদের কোন অংশীদারিত্ব আছে কি ? এর পূর্ববর্তী কোন কিতাবে অথবা পরম্পরাগত জ্ঞান থাকলে তা তোমরা আমার নিকট উপস্থিত কর , যদি তোমরা সত্যবাদী হও ।
- আর সে ব্যক্তি অপেক্ষা অধিক বিভ্রান্ত কে , যে আল্লাহর পরিবর্তে এমন কিছুকে ডাকে যা কিয়ামত দিবস পর্যন্ত ও তার ডাকে সাড়া দেবে না ? আর তারা তাদের ডাক সম্বন্ধে অবহিতও নয় ।
- যখন কিয়ামতের দিন মানুষকে একত্রিত করা হবে , তখন তারা (অর্থাৎ উপাস্যরা) তাদের শত্রু হয়ে দাঁড়াবে এবং তারা তাদের উপাসনাকে অস্বীকার করবে ।
- আর যখন তাদের কাছে আমাদের সুস্পষ্ট আয়াতসমূহ তিলাওয়াত করা হয় । তখন যারা কুফরী করেছে তাদের কাছে সত্য আসার পর তারা বলে , এ তো সুস্পষ্ট জাদু ।
- নাকি তারা বলে যে, সে (মুহাম্মাদ) এটা (কুরআন) উদ্ভাবন করেছে । বলুন, যদি আমি এটা উদ্ভাবন করে থাকি , তাহলে তোমরা তো আল্লাহর শাস্তি হতে আমাকে কিছুতেই রক্ষা করতে পারবে না । তোমরা যে বিষয়ে আলোচনায় লিপ্ত আছ , সে সম্বন্ধে আল্লাহ সবিশেষ অবহিত । আমার ও তোমাদের মধ্যে সাক্ষী হিসাবে তিনিই যথেষ্ট এবং তিনিই চরম ক্ষমাশীল , পরম দয়ালু ।
- বলুন, রাসূলদের মধ্যে আমিই প্রথম নই । আর আমি জানি না , আমার ও তোমাদের ব্যাপারে কী করা হবে ; আমি আমার প্রতি যা ওহী করা হয় শুধু তারই অনুসরণ করি । আর আমি তো এক স্পষ্ট সতর্ককারী মাত্ৰ ।
- বলুন , তোমরা আমাকে জানাও , যদি এ কুরআন আল্লাহর কাছ থেকে এসে থাকে , আর তোমরা এটাকে অস্বীকার করলে , অথচ এ ধরনের কালাম সম্পর্কে বানী ইসরাঈলের একজন [‘আবদুল্লাহ বিন সালাম (রাযি.)] সাক্ষ্যও দিয়েছে। সে ঈমান আনল আর তোমরা অহঙ্কার করলে ? নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ যালিম সম্প্রদায়কে হেদায়াত করেন না ।
- Ha, Meem.
- The revelation of the Book is from Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Wise.
- We did not create the heavens and earth and what is between them except in truth and [for] a specified term. But those who disbelieve, from that of which they are warned, are turning away.
- Say, [O Muhammad], "Have you considered that which you invoke besides Allah? Show me what they have created of the earth; or did they have partnership in [creation of] the heavens? Bring me a scripture [revealed] before this or a [remaining] trace of knowledge, if you should be truthful."
- And who is more astray than he who invokes besides Allah those who will not respond to him until the Day of Resurrection, and they, of their invocation, are unaware.
- And when the people are gathered [that Day], they [who were invoked] will be enemies to them, and they will be deniers of their worship.
- And when Our verses are recited to them as clear evidences, those who disbelieve say of the truth when it has come to them, "This is obvious magic."
- Or do they say, "He has invented it?" Say, "If I have invented it, you will not possess for me [the power of protection] from Allah at all. He is most knowing of that in which you are involved. Sufficient is He as Witness between me and you, and He is the Forgiving the Merciful."
- Say, "I am not something original among the messengers, nor do I know what will be done with me or with you. I only follow that which is revealed to me, and I am not but a clear warner."
- Say, "Have you considered: if the Qur'an was from Allah, and you disbelieved in it while a witness from the Children of Israel [Abdullah ibn Salam ibn al-Harith] has testified to something similar and believed while you were arrogant...?" Indeed, Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people.
