যে ব্যক্তি ভাল কাজের জন্য সুপারিশ করবে, তার জন্য তাতে (সাওয়াবের) অংশ আছে এবং যে মন্দ কাজের জন্য সুপারিশ করবে, তার জন্য তাতে অংশ আছে । আর আল্লাহ সব কিছুর উপর নজর রাখেন । | সূরাঃ ৪ , আন-নিসা , আয়াতঃ : ৮৫ | Whoever intercedes for a good cause will have a reward therefrom; and whoever intercedes for an evil cause will have a burden therefrom. Prophet Noah (Nuh عليه السلام) is one of the most significant prophets in Islam, known for his unwavering dedication to calling people to the worship of Allah. He was sent to a society that had fallen deep into idol worship, and for 950 years, he tirelessly preached monotheism, urging his people to abandon their false gods and return to the worship of the One True God. Despite his persistence, only a small group of followers believed in his message. Allah then instructed Noah to build an ark, foretelling a great flood as a punishment for the disbelievers. When the flood came, Noah, along with the believers and pairs of animals, were saved in the ark, while the disbelievers were drowned. The story of Prophet Noah serves as a powerful reminder of patience, perseverance, and the consequences of rejecting divine guidance.

আল্লাহর নামে, যিনি পরম করুণাময়, পরম দয়ালু

Surah 4 | An-Nisa | আন-নিসা | Verse: 163

নিশ্চয় আমরা, [হে মুহাম্মাদ], আপনার নিকট ওহী প্রেরণ করেছিলাম । যেমন নূহ ও তার পরবর্তী নবীগণের প্রতি ওহী প্রেরণ করেছিলাম । আর ইবরাহীম, ইসমাঈল, ইসহাক, ইয়াকুব ও তার বংশধরগণ, ঈসা, আইউব, ইউনুস, হারূন ও সুলাইমানের নিকট ওহী প্রেরণ করেছিলাম এবং দাউদকে প্রদান করেছিলাম যাবূর ।
Indeed, We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], as We revealed to Noah and the prophets after him. And we revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, the Descendants, Jesus, Job, Jonah, Aaron, and Solomon, and to David We gave the book [of Psalms].

Surah 10 | Yunus | ইউনুস | Verse: 71 - 81

আর তুমি তাদেরকে নূহের বৃত্তান্ত শোনাও । তিনি তার সম্প্রদায়কে বলেছিলেন, হে আমার সম্প্রদায়! আমার অবস্থিতি ও আল্লাহর আয়াতসমূহ দ্বারা আমার উপদেশ প্রদান তোমাদের কাছে যদি দুঃসহ হয় তবে আমি তো আল্লাহর উপর নির্ভর করি। সুতরাং তোমরা তোমাদের কর্তব্য স্থির করে নাও এবং তোমরা যাদেরকে শরীক করেছ তাদেরকেও ডাক, পরে যেন কর্তব্য বিষয়ে তোমাদের কোন অস্পষ্টতা না থাকে। তারপর আমার সম্বন্ধে তোমাদের কাজ শেষ করে ফেল এবং আমাকে অবকাশ দিও না। অতঃপর যদি তোমরা মুখ ফিরিয়ে নাও তবে তোমাদের কাছে আমি তো কোন পারিশ্রমিক চাইনি, আমার পারিশ্রমিক আছে তো কেবল আল্লাহ্‌র কাছে, আর আমি মুসলিমদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হতে আদেশপ্রাপ্ত হয়েছি। কিন্তু তারা তাকে মিথ্যে বলে অমান্য করল। তখন আমি তাকে আর তার সঙ্গে যারা নৌকায় ছিল তাদেরকে রক্ষা করলাম আর তাদেরকে (পৃথিবীতে) উত্তরাধিকারী বানালাম, আর যারা আমার আয়াতসমূহকে মিথ্যে ব’লে অমান্য করেছিল তাদেরকে ডুবিয়ে মারলাম। এখন দেখ যাদেরকে সতর্ক করা হয়েছিল (তারা সতর্ক না হওয়ায়) তাদের কী পরিণাম ঘটেছিল। তারপর আমরা নূহের পরে অনেক রাসূলকে তাদের সম্প্রদায়ের কাছে পাঠাই; অতঃপর তারা তাদের কাছে সুস্পষ্ট প্রমাণাদিসহ এসেছিল। কিন্তু তারা আগে যাতে মিথ্যারোপ করেছিল তাতে ঈমান আনার জন্য প্রস্তুত ছিল না। এভাবেই আল্লাহ সীমালংঘনকারীদের অন্তরে মোহর লাগিয়ে দেন। অতঃপর আমি তাদের পর মূসা ও হারূনকে আমার নিদর্শনাবলী সহ ফিরআউন ও তার পারিষদবর্গের নিকট পাঠালাম, কিন্তু তারা অহংকার করল, আর তারা ছিল পাপাচারী সম্প্রদায়। অতঃপর যখন তাদের কাছে আমার পক্ষ থেকে সত্য এল, তারা বলল, ‘নিশ্চয় এটি সুস্পষ্ট যাদু’। মূসা বলল, ‘সত্য যখন তোমাদের কাছে পৌঁছল, তখন সে সম্পর্কে তোমরা কি বলছ, এটা কি যাদু? অথচ যাদুকররা তো সফলকাম হয় না।’ তারা বলল, ‘তুমি কি আমাদের নিকট এই জন্য এসেছ যে, আমাদেরকে সেই পথ হতে ফিরিয়ে দেবে, যাতে আমরা আমাদের পূর্বপুরুষদেরকে পেয়েছি, আর পৃথিবীতে তোমাদের দু’জনের [ মূসা ও হারূন ] আধিপত্য স্থাপিত হবে? আমরা তোমাদের দু’জনকে বিশ্বাস করবার নই।’ আর ফিরআউন বলল, “তোমরা আমার কাছে সমস্ত সুদক্ষ জাদুকরকে নিয়ে আস। অতঃপর যখন জাদুকরেরা আসল তখন তাদেরকে মূসা বললেন, তোমাদের যা নিক্ষেপ করার, নিক্ষেপ কর। অতঃপর যখন তারা (তাদের রশি ও লাঠি) ফেলল, তখন মূসা বলল, ‘তোমরা যা আনলে, তা যাদু। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ তা বাতিল করে দেবেন। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ অশান্তি সৃষ্টিকারীদের কাজ সার্থক করেন না।
And recite to them the news of Noah, when he said to his people, "O my people, if my residence and my reminding of the signs of Allah has become burdensome upon you - then I have relied upon Allah. So resolve upon your plan and [call upon] your associates. Then let not your plan be obscure to you. Then carry it out upon me and do not give me respite. And if you turn away [from my advice] then no payment have I asked of you. My reward is only from Allah, and I have been commanded to be of the Muslims." And they denied him, so We saved him and those with him in the ship and made them successors, and We drowned those who denied Our signs. Then see how was the end of those who were warned.Then We sent after him messengers to their peoples, and they came to them with clear proofs. But they were not to believe in that which they had denied before. Thus We seal over the hearts of the transgressors. Then We sent after them Moses and Aaron to Pharaoh and his establishment with Our signs, but they behaved arrogantly and were a criminal people. So when there came to them the truth from Us, they said, "Indeed, this is obvious magic." Moses said, "Do you say [thus] about the truth when it has come to you? Is this magic? But magicians will not succeed." They said, "Have you come to us to turn us away from that upon which we found our fathers and so that you two [ Moses and Aaron ] may have grandeur in the land? And we are not believers in you." And Pharaoh said, "Bring to me every learned magician." So when the magicians came, Moses said to them, "Throw down whatever you will throw." And when they had thrown, Moses said, "What you have brought is [only] magic. Indeed, Allah will expose its worthlessness. Indeed, Allah does not amend the work of corrupters.

Surah 11 | Hud | হুদ | Verse: 25 -34

আর অবশ্যই আমরা নূহকে তাঁর সম্প্রদায়ের কাছে পাঠিয়েছিলাম । তিনি বলেছিলেন , নিশ্চয় আমি তোমাদের জন্য প্রকাশ্য সতর্ককারী । তোমরা আল্লাহ ছাড়া আর কারো উপাসনা করো না , আমি তোমাদের উপর এক ভীষণ যন্ত্রণাদায়ক দিনের শাস্তির আশঙ্কা করছি । জওয়াবে তার সম্প্রদায়ের মধ্যে যেসব নেতৃস্থানীয় লোক অবিশ্বাসী ছিল , তারা বলল , ‘আমরা তো তোমাকে আমাদেরই মত মানুষ দেখতে পাচ্ছি । আর আমরা দেখছি যে, শুধু ঐ লোকেরাই না বুঝে তোমার অনুসরণ করছে , যারা আমাদের মধ্যে নিতান্তই হীন । আর আমাদের উপর তোমাদের কোন শ্রেষ্ঠত্ব আমরা দেখছি না ; বরং আমরা তোমাদেরকে মিথ্যাবাদী বলে মনে করছি । ’ সে বলল , ‘ হে আমার সম্প্রদায় ! তোমরা কি মনে কর , যদি আমি আমার রবের পক্ষ থেকে প্রেরিত প্রমাণের উপর প্রতিষ্ঠিত হই এবং তিনি আমাকে তাঁর পক্ষ থেকে রহমত দিয়ে থাকেন , আর তা তোমাদের কাছে গোপন রাখা হয় , তবে কি আমি তোমাদের উপর তোমাদের অপছন্দ হওয়া সত্ত্বেও তা চাপিয়ে দেব ’ ? ‘আর হে আমার সম্প্রদায় , এর বিনিময়ে আমি তোমাদের কাছে কোন সম্পদ চাই না । আমার প্রতিদান শুধু আল্লাহর কাছে। যারা ঈমান এনেছে , আমি তাদের তাড়িয়ে দিতে পারি না । নিশ্চয় তারা তাদের রবের সাথে সাক্ষাৎ করবে । কিন্তু আমি তো দেখছি তোমরা এক অজ্ঞ জাতি ’ । হে আমার সম্প্রদায় ! আমি যদি তাদেরকে তাড়িয়ে দেই , তবে আল্লাহর পাকড়াও থেকে আমাকে কে রক্ষা করবে ? তবুও কি তোমরা উপদেশ গ্রহণ করবে না ? আর আমি তোমাদেরকে বলছি না যে , আমার নিকট আল্লাহর ধন-ভান্ডার আছে । আমি অদৃশ্যের কথাও জানি না । আর আমি এটাও বলি না যে, আমি ফিরিশতা । আর যারা তোমাদের চোখে হীন, আমি তাদের সম্বন্ধে এটা বলি না যে , আল্লাহ কখনো তাদেরকে কোন মঙ্গল দান করবেন না ; তাদের অন্তরে যা কিছু আছে , তা আল্লাহ উত্তমরূপে জানেন । ( এরূপ বললে ) আমি অবশ্যই যালেমদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হয়ে যাব । তারা বলল , ‘ হে নূহ , তুমি আমাদের সাথে বাদানুবাদ করছ এবং আমাদের সাথে অতিমাত্রায় বিবাদ করেছ । অতএব যার প্রতিশ্রুতি তুমি আমাদেরকে দিচ্ছ , তা আমাদের কাছে নিয়ে আস , যদি তুমি সত্যবাদীদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হও ’ । তিনি বললেন , ইচ্ছে করলে আল্লাহই তা তোমাদের কাছে উপস্থিত করবেন এবং তোমরা তা ব্যর্থ করতে পারবে না । আর আমি তোমাদেরকে উপদেশ দিতে চাইলেও আমার উপদেশ তোমাদের উপকারে আসবে না , যদি আল্লাহ্‌ তোমাদেরকে বিভ্রান্ত করতে চান । তিনিই তোমাদের রব এবং তাঁরই কাছে তোমাদেরকে ফিরিয়ে নেয়া হবে ।
And We had certainly sent Noah to his people , [saying] , " Indeed , I am to you a clear warner . That you not worship except Allah . Indeed , I fear for you the punishment of a painful day ." So the eminent among those who disbelieved from his people said , " We do not see you but as a man like ourselves , and we do not see you followed except by those who are the lowest of us [and] at first suggestion . And we do not see in you over us any merit ; rather , we think you are liars . " He said , " O my people have you considered : if I should be upon clear evidence from my Lord while He has given me mercy from Himself but it has been made unapparent to you, should we force it upon you while you are averse to it ? And O my people , I ask not of you for it any wealth. My reward is not but from Allah . And I am not one to drive away those who have believed . Indeed , they will meet their Lord , but I see that you are a people behaving ignorantly . And O my people , who would protect me from Allah if I drove them away ? Then will you not be reminded ? And I do not tell you that I have the depositories [containing the provision] of Allah or that I know the unseen , nor do I tell you that I am an angel , nor do I say of those upon whom your eyes look down that Allah will never grant them any good . Allah is most knowing of what is within their souls . Indeed, I would then be among the wrongdoers ." They said , " O Noah , you have disputed us and been frequent in dispute of us . So bring us what you threaten us , if you should be of the truthful ." He said , " Allah will only bring it to you if He wills , and you will not cause [Him] failure . And my advice will not benefit you - although I wished to advise you - If Allah should intend to put you in error . He is your Lord , and to Him you will be returned ."

Surah 14 | Ibrahim | ইবরাহীম Verse: 9 - 18

তোমাদের কাছে কি সংবাদ আসেনি তোমাদের পূর্ববর্তীদের, নূহের সম্প্রদায়ের, আদের ও সামূদের এবং যারা তাদের পরের? যাদেরকে আল্লাহ্‌ ছাড়া অন্য কেউ জানে না। তাদের কাছে স্পষ্ট প্রমাণাদিসহ তাদের রাসূলগণ এসেছিলেন, অতঃপর তারা তাদের হাত তাদের মুখে স্থাপন করেছিল। এবং বলেছিল, যা সহ তোমরা প্রেরিত হয়েছ তা আমরা অবশ্যই অস্বীকার করলাম। আর নিশ্চয় আমরা বিভ্রান্তিকর সন্দেহে রয়েছি সে বিষয়ে, যার দিকে তোমরা আমাদেরকে ডাকছ।
তাদের রাসূলগণ বলেছিলেন, আল্লাহ সম্বন্ধে কি কোন সন্দেহ আছে, যিনি আসমানসমূহ ও যমীনের সৃষ্টিকর্তা? তিনি তোমাদেরকে ডাকছেন তোমাদের পাপ ক্ষমা করার জন্য এবং নির্দিষ্ট কাল পর্যন্ত তোমাদেরকে অবকাশ দেয়ার জন্য। তারা বলল, তোমরা তো আমাদেরই মত মানুষ। আমাদের পিতৃপুরুষগণ যাদের ইবাদাত করত তোমরা তাদের ইবাদাত হতে আমাদেরকে বিরত রাখতে চাও। অতএব তোমরা আমাদের কাছে কোন অকাট্য প্রমাণ উপস্থিত কর।
তাদের রাসূলগণ তাদেরকে বললেন, সত্য বটে, আমরা তোমাদের মত মানুষই কিন্তু আল্লাহ তার বান্দাদের মধ্যে যাকে ইচ্ছে অনুগ্রহ করেন এবং আল্লাহর অনুমতি ছাড়া তোমাদের কাছে প্রমাণ উপস্থিত করার সাধ্য আমাদের নেই । আর আল্লাহর উপরই মুমিনগণের নির্ভর করা উচিত ।
আর আমাদের কি হয়েছে যে, আমরা আল্লাহর উপর ভরসা করব না? অথচ তিনিই তো আমাদেরকে আমাদের পথ দেখিয়েছেন। আর তোমরা আমাদেরকে যে কষ্ট দিচ্ছ, আমরা তাতে অবশ্যই ধৈর্য ধারণ করব। আর ভরসাকারীদের আল্লাহরই উপর ভরসা করা উচিত।
আর কাফিররা তাদের রাসূলদেরকে বলেছিল, আমরা তোমাদেরকে আমাদের দেশ হতে অবশ্যই বহিস্কৃত করব , অন্যথায় তোমাদেরকে অবশ্য অবশ্যই আমাদের ধর্মমতে ফিরে আসতে হবে। অতঃপর রসূলদের প্রতিপালক তাদের প্রতি অহী (প্রত্যাদেশ) প্রেরণ করলেন, ‘সীমালংঘনকারীদেরকে আমি অবশ্যই ধ্বংস করব।
তাদের পরে আমি অবশ্যই তোমাদেরকে দেশে পুনর্বাসিত করব; এটা তাদের জন্য যারা ভয় রাখে আমার সম্মুখে দন্ডায়মান হওয়ার এবং ভয় রাখে আমার (শাস্তির) হুমকির।’
তারা (অর্থাৎ কাফিররা) চূড়ান্ত বিজয়ের ফায়সালা কামনা করেছিল, কিন্তু (আল্লাহ ও তাঁর রসূলদের বিরোধিতা করার কারণে) প্রত্যেক উদ্ধত সীমালঙ্ঘনকারী ব্যর্থ হয়ে গেল।
তাদের প্রত্যেকের সম্মুখে রয়েছে জাহান্নাম এবং প্রত্যেককে পান করানো হবে পূঁজমিশ্রিত পানি।
সে তা গিলতে চাইবে এবং প্রায় সহজে সে তা গিলতে পারবে না। আর তার কাছে সকল স্থান থেকে মৃত্যু ধেঁয়ে আসবে, অথচ সে মরবে না। আর এর পরেও রয়েছে কঠিন আযাব ।
যারা তাদের রাব্বকে অস্বীকার করে তাদের উপমা - তাদের কাজসমূহ ছাই সদৃশ যা ঝড়ের দিনে বাতাস প্রচন্ড বেগে উড়িয়ে নিয়ে যায়; যা তারা উপার্জন করে তার কিছুই তারা তাদের কাজে লাগাতে পারেনা; এটাতো ঘোর বিভ্রান্তি।

Has there not reached you the news of those before you - the people of Noah and 'Aad and Thamud and those after them? No one knows them but Allah. Their messengers brought them clear proofs, but they returned their hands to their mouths and said, "Indeed, we disbelieve in that with which you have been sent, and indeed we are, about that to which you invite us, in disquieting doubt."
Their messengers said, "Can there be doubt about Allah, Creator of the heavens and earth? He invites you that He may forgive you of your sins, and He delays your death for a specified term." They said, "You are not but men like us who wish to avert us from what our fathers were worshipping. So bring us a clear authority."
Their messengers said to them, "We are only men like you, but Allah confers favor upon whom He wills of His servants. It has never been for us to bring you evidence except by permission of Allah. And upon Allah let the believers rely.
And why should we not rely upon Allah while He has guided us to our [good] ways. And we will surely be patient against whatever harm you should cause us. And upon Allah let those who would rely [indeed] rely."
And those who disbelieved said to their messengers, "We will surely drive you out of our land, or you must return to our religion." So their Lord inspired to them, "We will surely destroy the wrongdoers.
And We will surely cause you to dwell in the land after them. That is for he who fears My position and fears My threat."
And they requested victory from Allah, and disappointed, [therefore], was every obstinate tyrant.
Before him is Hell, and he will be given a drink of purulent water.
He will gulp it but will hardly [be able to] swallow it. And death will come to him from everywhere, but he is not to die. And before him is a massive punishment.
The example of those who disbelieve in their Lord is [that] their deeds are like ashes which the wind blows forcefully on a stormy day; they are unable [to keep] from what they earned a [single] thing. That is what is extreme error.

Surah 17 | Al-Isra | আল-ইসরা (বনী-ইসরাঈল) | Verse: 1 - 10

পবিত্ৰ মহিমাময় তিনি, যিনি তাঁর বান্দাকে রাতের বেলায় ভ্রমণ করালেন আল-মসজিদুল হারাম থেকে আল-মসজিদুল আকসা, [ ফিলিস্তীনে অবস্থিত বাইতুল মাকদিস, যা মুসলমানদের প্রথম কিবলা ছিল], পর্যন্ত যার আশপাশে আমরা দিয়েছি বরকত, যেন আমরা তাকে আমাদের নিদর্শন দেখাতে পারি ; তিনিই সর্বশ্রোতা সর্বদ্রষ্টা ।
আর আমরা মূসাকে কিতাব দিয়েছিলাম ও তাকে করেছিলাম বনী ইসরাঈলের জন্য পথনির্দেশক যাতে তোমরা আমাকে ছাড়া অন্য কাউকে কর্মবিধায়করূপে গ্রহন না করো;
তাদের বংশধর! যাদেরকে আমরা নূহের সাথে আরোহণ (কিশতীতে) করিয়েছিলাম ; তিনি তো ছিলেন পরম কৃতজ্ঞ বান্দা।
আর আমরা কিতাবে (তাওরাত) বনী ইসরাঈলকে জানিয়েছিলাম যে, অবশ্যই তোমরা পৃথিবীতে দুবার বিপর্যয় সৃষ্টি করবে এবং তোমরা অতিশয় অহংকারস্ফীত হবে।
অতঃপর এ দুটির প্রথমটির নির্ধারিত সময় যখন উপস্থিত হল তখন আমরা তোমাদের বিরুদ্ধে পাঠিয়েছিলাম, যুদ্ধে অত্যন্ত শক্তিশালী আমাদের বান্দাদেরকে; অতঃপর তারা ঘরে ঘরে প্ৰবেশ করে ধ্বংসযজ্ঞ চালিয়েছিল। আর এটা ছিল এমন প্রতিশ্রুতি যা কার্যকর হওয়ারই ছিল।

[ এখানে সেই লাঞ্ছনা ও ধ্বংসের প্রতি ইঙ্গিত করা হয়েছে, যা ব্যাবিলনের (অগ্নিপূজক) শাসক বুখতে নাসরের (বা বুখতে নাসসারের) হাতে খ্রীষ্টপূর্ব প্রায় ছয়শ’ সালে জেরুজালেমে ইয়াহুদীদের উপর আপতিত হয়েছিল। সে নির্বিচারে ব্যাপকভাবে ইয়াহুদীদেরকে হত্যা করেছিল এবং বহু সংখ্যক ইয়াহুদীকে দাস বানিয়েছিল। আর এটা তখন হয়েছিল, যখন তারা আল্লাহর একজন নবী শা’য়া (আঃ)-কে হত্যা অথবা আরমিয়া (আঃ)-কে বন্দী করেছিল এবং তাওরাতের বিধি-বিধানকে অমান্য করে অবাধ্যতায় লিপ্ত হয়ে যমীনে ফাসাদ সৃষ্টি করার অপরাধ করেছিল। কেউ বলেন, বুখতে নাসরের পরিবর্তে মহান আল্লাহ জালূতকে শাস্তি স্বরূপ তাদের উপর আধিপত্য দান করেছিলেন। সে তাদের উপর সীমাহীন যুলুম ও অত্যাচারের রুলার চালিয়েছিল। পরে ত্বালূতের নেতৃত্বে দাউদ (আঃ) তাকে হত্যা করেছিলেন। - তাফসীরে আহসানুল বায়ান]

তারপর আমরা তোমাদেরকে তাদের উপর বিজয় দান করলাম আর তোমাদেরকে ধন-সম্পদ আর সন্তানাদি দিয়ে সাহায্য করলাম, তোমাদেরকে জনবলে বহুগুণ বাড়িয়ে দিলাম ।
তোমরা সৎ কাজ করলে তা নিজেদেরই জন্য করবে এবং মন্দ কাজ করলে তাও করবে নিজেদের জন্য; অতঃপর পরবর্তী নির্ধারিত সময় উপস্থিত হলে আমি আমার দাসদেরকে প্রেরণ করলাম তোমাদের মুখমণ্ডল কালিমাচ্ছন্ন করার জন্য, প্রথমবার তারা যেভাবে মাসজিদে প্রবেশ করেছিল পুনরায় সেভাবেই তাতে প্রবেশ করার জন্য এবং তারা যা অধিকার করেছিল তা সম্পূর্ণ রূপে ধ্বংস করার জন্য।

[ দ্বিতীয়বার আবার তারা ফাসাদ সৃষ্টি করল। যাকারিয়া (আঃ)-কে হত্যা করল এবং ঈসা (আঃ)-কেও হত্যা করার প্রচেষ্টায় ছিল। কিন্তু আল্লাহ তাঁকে আসমানে উঠিয়ে নিয়ে বাঁচিয়ে নেন। এর ফলস্বরূপ রোমসম্রাট টিটাস (Titas)-কে আল্লাহ তাদের উপর আধিপত্য দান করেন। সে জেরুজালেমের উপর আক্রমণ করে তাদের লাশের গাদা লাগিয়ে দেয়, শত শত মানুষকে বন্দী করে, তাদের ধন-সম্পদ লুটে নেয় ধর্মপুস্তিকাগুলোকে পদতলে দলিত-মথিত করে, বায়তুল মাকদিস ও সুলাইমানী হাইকাল (উপাসনালয়)-কে ধ্বংস করে দেয় এবং তাদেরকে চিরদিনের জন্য বায়তুল মাকদিস থেকে বহিষ্কার করে দেয়। এইভাবে খুব করে তাদেরকে লাঞ্ছিত ও অপমানিত করা হয়। আর এই সর্বনাশ তাদের উপর নেমে এসেছিল সন ৭০ খ্রীষ্টাব্দে। - তাফসীরে আহসানুল বায়ান]

সম্ভবত তোমাদের রব তোমাদের প্রতি দয়া করবেন, কিন্তু তোমরা যদি তোমাদের আগের আচরণের পুনরাবৃত্তি কর তবে আমরাও পুনরাবৃত্তি করব। আর জাহান্নামকে আমরা করেছি কাফিরদের জন্য কারাগার।
নিশ্চয় এ কুরআন সেই পথ দেখায় যা সবচেয়ে সরল এবং যে মুমিনগণ নেক আমল করে তাদেরকে সুসংবাদ দেয় যে, তাদের জন্য রয়েছে মহাপুরস্কার।
আর যারা আখিরাতে ঈমান আনে না আমরা তাদের জন্য প্রস্তুত রেখেছি যন্ত্রণাদায়ক শাস্তি।

Exalted is He who took His Servant by night from al-Masjid al-Haram to al-Masjid al-Aqsa, whose surroundings We have blessed, to show him of Our signs. Indeed, He is the Hearing, the Seeing.
And We gave Moses the Scripture and made it a guidance for the Children of Israel that you not take other than Me as Disposer of affairs,
O descendants of those We carried [in the ship] with Noah. Indeed, he was a grateful servant.
And We conveyed to the Children of Israel in the Scripture ( Torah) that, "You will surely cause corruption on the earth twice, and you will surely reach [a degree of] great haughtiness.
So when the [time of] promise came for the first of them, We sent against you servants of Ours - those of great military might, and they probed [even] into the homes, and it was a promise fulfilled.

[ This refers to the humiliation and destruction that occurred under the rule of Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon (a fire-worshipper) around 600 BCE, when he attacked the Jews in Jerusalem. He indiscriminately killed a large number of Jews and made many others slaves. This happened at a time when they had killed one of Allah’s prophets, Sha'ya (peace be upon him), or had imprisoned Jeremiah (peace be upon him), and had violated the commandments of the Torah, engaging in disobedience and corruption on earth. Some say that, instead of Nebuchadnezzar, Allah gave their dominance to Goliath as a punishment. He imposed limitless oppression and tyranny over them. Later, under the leadership of Talut, David (peace be upon him) killed him. - Tafseer al-Ahsanul Bayan]

Then We gave back to you a return victory over them. And We reinforced you with wealth and sons and made you more numerous in manpower
[And said], "If you do good, you do good for yourselves; and if you do evil, [you do it] to yourselves." Then when the final promise came, [We sent your enemies] to sadden your faces and to enter the temple in Jerusalem, as they entered it the first time, and to destroy what they had taken over with [total] destruction.
[Then Allah said], "It is expected, [if you repent], that your Lord will have mercy upon you. But if you return [to sin], We will return [to punishment]. And We have made Hell, for the disbelievers, a prison-bed."
Indeed, this Qur'an guides to that which is most suitable and gives good tidings to the believers who do righteous deeds that they will have a great reward.
And that those who do not believe in the Hereafter - We have prepared for them a painful punishment.

Surah 21 | Al-Anbiya | আল-আম্বিয়া | Verse: 76 - 77

আর স্মরণ করুন নূহকে; ইতোপূর্বে তিনি যখন ডেকেছিলেন তখন আমরা সাড়া দিয়েছিলাম তার ডাকে এবং তাকে ও তার পরিজনবৰ্গকে মহাসংকট থেকে উদ্ধার করেছিলাম ।
এবং আমরা তাকে সাহায্য করেছিলাম সে সম্প্রদায়ের বিরুদ্ধে যারা আমার নিদর্শনাবলীতে মিথ্যারোপ করেছিল; নিশ্চয় তারা ছিল এক মন্দ সম্প্রদায়। এজন্য আমরা তাদের সবাইকেই নিমজ্জিত করেছিলাম।

And [mention] Noah, when he called [to Allah] before [that time], so We responded to him and saved him and his family from the great flood.
And We saved him from the people who denied Our signs. Indeed, they were a people of evil, so We drowned them, all together.

Surah 23 | Al-Mu'minun | আল-মুমিনুন Verse: 23 - 50

আর অবশ্যই আমরা নূহকে পাঠিয়েছিলাম তার সম্প্রদায়ের কাছে । তিনি বললেন, হে আমার সম্প্রদায়! তোমরা আল্লাহর ইবাদাত কর, তিনি ছাড়া তোমাদের অন্য কোন সত্য ইলাহ নেই, তবুও কি তোমরা সাবধান হবে না ?
অতঃপর তার সম্প্রদায়ের নেতারা, যারা কুফরী করেছিল , তারা বলল, এ তো তোমাদের মত একজন মানুষই, সে তোমাদের উপর শ্রেষ্ঠত্ব লাভ করতে চাচ্ছে, আর আল্লাহ্‌ ইচ্ছে করলে ফেরেশতাই নাযিল করতেন; আমরা তো আমাদের পূর্বপুরুষদের কালে এরূপ ঘটেছে বলে শুনিনি ।
এ তো এমন লোক যাকে উন্মাদনা পেয়ে বসেছে; কাজেই তোমরা এর সম্পর্কে কিছুকাল অপেক্ষা কর ।
নূহ বলেছিলেন, হে আমার রব! আমাকে সাহায্য করুন, কারণ তারা আমার প্রতি মিথ্যারোপ করেছে ।
তারপর আমরা তার কাছে ওহী পাঠালাম, আপনি আমাদের চাক্ষুষ তত্ত্বাবধান ও আমাদের ওহী অনুযায়ী নৌযান নির্মাণ করুন, তারপর যখন আমাদের আদেশ আসবে এবং উনুন উথলে উঠবে, তখন উঠিয়ে নেবেন প্ৰত্যেক জীবের এক এক জোড়া এবং আপনার পরিবার-পরিজনকে, তাদেরকে ছাড়া যাদের বিরুদ্ধে আগে সিদ্ধান্ত হয়েছে। আর তাদের সম্পর্কে আপনি আমাকে কিছু বলবেন না যারা যুলুম করেছে। তারা তো নিমজ্জিত হবে ।
অতঃপর যখন আপনি ও আপনার সঙ্গীরা নৌযানের উপরে স্থির হবেন তখন বলুন, সমস্ত প্রশংসা আল্লাহরই, যিনি আমাদেরকে উদ্ধার করেছেন যালেম সম্প্রদায় থেকে ৷
আরো বলুন, হে আমার রব! আমাকে নামিয়ে দিন কল্যাণকরভাবে; আর আপনিই শ্রেষ্ঠ অবতারণকারী ।
এতে অবশ্যই রয়েছে বহু নিদর্শন আর আমরা তো তাদেরকে পরীক্ষা করেছিলাম ।
তারপর আমরা তাদের পরে অন্য এক প্রজন্ম সৃষ্টি করেছিলাম;
এরপর আমরা তাদেরই একজনকে তাদের কাছে রাসূল করে পাঠিয়েছিলাম! তিনি বলেছিলেন, তোমরা আল্লাহর ইবাদাত কর, তিনি ছাড়া তোমাদের অন্য কোন সত্য ইলাহ নেই । তবুও কি তোমরা তাকওয়া অবলম্বন করবে না?
আর তার সম্প্রদায়ের নেতারা, যারা কুফরী করেছিল ও আখেরাতের সাক্ষাতে মিথ্যারোপ করেছিল এবং যাদেরকে আমরা দিয়েছিলাম দুনিয়ার জীবনের প্রচুর ভোগ-সম্ভার , তারা বলেছিল, এ তো তোমাদেরই মত একজন মানুষ; তোমরা যা খাও, সে তা-ই খায় এবং তোমরা যা পান করা সেও তাই পান করে ;
যদি তোমরা তোমাদেরই মত একজন মানুষের আনুগত্য কর তবে তোমরা অবশ্যই ক্ষতিগ্ৰস্ত হবে ;
সে কি তোমাদেরকে এ প্রতিশ্রুতিই দেয় যে, তোমাদের মৃত্যু হলে এবং তোমরা মাটি ও অস্থিতে পরিণত হলেও তোমাদেরকে বের করা হবে ?
অসম্ভব, তোমাদেরকে যে বিষয়ে প্রতিশ্রুতি দেয়া হয়েছে তা অসম্ভব ।
একমাত্র দুনিয়ার জীবনই আমাদের জীবন , আমরা মরি-বাঁচি এখানেই এবং আমরা পুনরুত্থিত হব না ?
সে তো এমন ব্যক্তি যে আল্লাহ সম্বন্ধে মিথ্যা অপবাদ দিচ্ছে, আমরা তো তাকে বিশ্বাস করার নই ।
তিনি বললেন, হে আমার রব! আমাকে সাহায্য করুন; কারণ তারা আমার প্রতি মিথ্যারোপ করেছে ।
আল্লাহ্‌ বললেন, অচিরেই তারা অনুতপ্ত হবে ।
অতঃপর সত্যসত্যই এক বিকট শব্দ তাদেরকে পাকড়াও করল এবং আমরা তাদেরকে তরঙ্গ-তাড়িত আবর্জনার মত করে দিলাম । কাজেই যালেম সম্প্রদায়ের জন্য রইল ধ্বংস ।
তারপর তাদের পরে আমরা বহু প্ৰজন্ম সৃষ্টি করেছি ।
কোন জাতিই তার নির্ধারিত কালকে ত্বরান্বিত করতে পারে না, বিলম্বিতও করতে পারে না ।
এরপর আমরা একের পর এক আমাদের রাসূলগণকে প্রেরণ করেছি। যখনই কোন জাতির কাছে তার রাসূল এসেছেন তখনই তারা তার প্রতি মিথ্যারোপ করেছে। অতঃপর আমরা তাদের একের পর এককে ধ্বংস করে তাদেরকে কাহিনীর বিষয় করে দিয়েছি। কাজেই যারা ঈমান আনে না সে সমস্ত সম্প্রদায়ের জন্য ধ্বংসই রইল !
তারপর আমরা আমাদের নিদর্শনসমূহ এবং সুস্পষ্ট প্রমাণসহ মূসা ও তার ভাই হারূনকে পাঠালাম,
ফিরআউন ও তার পরিষদবর্গের কাছে। কিন্তু তারা অহংকার করল; আর তারা ছিল উদ্ধত সম্প্রদায় ।
অতঃপর তারা বলল, আমরা কি এমন দু’ব্যক্তিতে বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করব যারা আমাদেরই মত, অথচ তাদের সম্প্রদায় আমাদের দাসত্ব করে ।
সুতরাং তারা তাদের উভয়ের প্রতি মিথ্যারোপ করল, ফলে তারা ধ্বংসপ্রাপ্তদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হল ।
আর আমরা তো মূসাকে দিয়েছিলাম কিতাব; যাতে তারা হেদায়াত পায় ।
আর আমরা মারইয়াম-পুত্র ও তার জননীকে করেছিলাম এক নিদর্শন এবং তাদেরকে আশ্রয় দিয়েছিলাম এক অবস্থানযোগ্য ও প্রস্রবণবিশিষ্ট উচ্চ ভূমিতে ।

And We had certainly sent Noah to his people, and he said, "O my people, worship Allah; you have no deity other than Him; then will you not fear Him?"
But the eminent among those who disbelieved from his people said, "This is not but a man like yourselves who wishes to take precedence over you; and if Allah had willed [to send a messenger], He would have sent down angels. We have not heard of this among our forefathers.
He is not but a man possessed with madness, so wait concerning him for a time."
[Noah] said, "My Lord, support me because they have denied me."
So We inspired to him, "Construct the ship under Our observation, and Our inspiration, and when Our command comes and the oven overflows, put into the ship from each [creature] two mates and your family, except those for whom the decree [of destruction] has proceeded. And do not address Me concerning those who have wronged; indeed, they are to be drowned.
And when you have boarded the ship, you and those with you, then say, 'Praise to Allah who has saved us from the wrongdoing people.'
And say, 'My Lord, let me land at a blessed landing place, and You are the best to accommodate [us].'
Indeed in that are signs, and indeed, We are ever testing [Our servants].
Then We produced after them a generation of others.
And We sent among them a messenger from themselves, [saying], "Worship Allah; you have no deity other than Him; then will you not fear Him?"
And the eminent among his people who disbelieved and denied the meeting of the Hereafter while We had given them luxury in the worldly life said, "This is not but a man like yourselves. He eats of that from which you eat and drinks of what you drink.
And if you should obey a man like yourselves, indeed, you would then be losers.
Does he promise you that when you have died and become dust and bones that you will be brought forth [once more]?
How far, how far, is that which you are promised.
Life is not but our worldly life - we die and live, but we will not be resurrected.
He is not but a man who has invented a lie about Allah, and we will not believe him."
He said, "My Lord, support me because they have denied me."
[Allah] said, "After a little, they will surely become regretful."
So the shriek seized them in truth, and We made them as [plant] stubble. Then away with the wrongdoing people.
Then We produced after them other generations.
No nation will precede its time [of termination], nor will they remain [thereafter].
Then We sent Our messengers in succession. Every time there came to a nation its messenger, they denied him, so We made them follow one another [to destruction], and We made them narrations. So away with a people who do not believe .
Then We sent Moses and his brother Aaron with Our signs and a clear authority
To Pharaoh and his establishment, but they were arrogant and were a haughty people.
They said, "Should we believe two men like ourselves while their people are for us in servitude?"
So they denied them and were of those destroyed.
And We certainly gave Moses the Scripture that perhaps they would be guided .
And We made the son of Mary and his mother a sign and sheltered them within a high ground having level [areas] and flowing water .

Surah 25 | Al-Furqan | আল-ফুরকান | Verse: 35 - 39

আর আমরা তো মূসাকে কিতাব দিয়েছিলাম এবং তার সাথে তাঁর ভাই হারূনকে সাহায্যকারী করেছিলাম ।
অতঃপর আমরা বলেছিলাম, তোমরা সে সম্প্রদায়ের (ফিরআউন সম্প্রদায়) কাছে যাও যারা আমার নিদর্শনাবলীতে মিথ্যারোপ করেছে । তারপর আমরা তাদেরকে সম্পূর্ণরূপে বিধ্বস্ত করেছিলাম ।
আর নূহের সম্প্রদায়কেও, যখন তারা রাসূলগণের প্রতি মিথ্যা আরোপ করল তখন আমরা তাদেরকে ডুবিয়ে দিলাম এবং তাদেরকে মানুষের জন্য নিদর্শনস্বরূপ করে রাখলাম । আর সীমালংঘনকারীদের জন্য আমরা মর্মন্তুদ শাস্তি প্রস্তুত করে রেখেছি ।
আর আমরা ধ্বংস করেছিলাম ‘আদ, সামুদ, রাস’ এর অধিবাসীকে এবং তাদের অন্তর্বর্তীকালের বহু প্ৰজন্মকেও ৷
আর আমরা তাদের প্রত্যেকের জন্য দৃষ্টান্ত বর্ণনা করেছিলাম (যাতে তারা সঠিক পথের সন্ধান পেতে পারে) এবং তাদের সকলকেই আমরা সম্পূর্ণরূপে ধ্বংস করেছিলাম (তাদের পাপের কারণে) ।

And We had certainly given Moses the Scripture and appointed with him his brother Aaron as an assistant.
And We said, "Go both of you to the people who have denied Our signs." Then We destroyed them with [complete] destruction.
And the people of Noah - when they denied the messengers, We drowned them, and We made them for mankind a sign. And We have prepared for the wrongdoers a painful punishment.
And [We destroyed] 'Aad and Thamud and the companions of the well and many generations between them.
And for each We presented examples [as warnings], and each We destroyed with [total] destruction.

Surah 26 | Ash-Shu'ara | আশ-শুআ'রা | Verse: 105 - 122

নূহের সম্প্রদায় রাসূলগণের প্রতি মিথ্যা আরোপ করেছিল ।
যখন তাদের ভাই নূহ তাদেরকে বলেছিলেন , তোমরা কি ভয় করবে না (আল্লাহকে) ?
আমি তো তোমাদের জন্য এক বিশ্বস্ত রাসূল ।
অতএব তোমরা আল্লাহর তাকওয়া অবলম্বন কর এবং আমার আনুগত্য কর ।
আর আমি তোমাদের কাছে এর জন্য কোন প্রতিদান চাই না ; আমার পুরস্কার তো সৃষ্টিকুলের রব-এর কাছেই আছে ।
কাজেই তোমরা আল্লাহকে ভয় কর এবং আমার আনুগত্য কর ।
তারা বলল, আমরা কি তোমার প্রতি বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করব , যখন আমরা দেখছি নিম্নশ্রেণীর লোকেরা তোমাকে অনুসরণ করছে ?
নূহ বললেন, তারা কী করত তা আমার জানার কী প্রয়োজন ?
তাদের হিসাব গ্রহণ তো কেবল আমার রবের দায়িত্বে, যদি তোমরা বুঝতে ।
আর আমি তো মুমিনদেরকে তাড়িয়ে দেয়ার নই ।
আমি তো কেবল একজন স্পষ্ট সতর্ককারী ।
তারা বলল , হে নূহ, তুমি যদি বিরত না হও, তাহলে তুমি নিশ্চিতই প্রস্তরাঘাতে নিহত হবে ।
নূহ বললেন , হে আমার রব ! আমার সম্প্রদায় আমাকে প্রত্যাখান করছে ।
কাজেই আপনি আমার ও তাদের মধ্যে স্পষ্ট মীমাংসা করে দিন এবং আমাকে ও আমার সাথে যেসব মুমিন আছে , তাদেরকে রক্ষা করুন ।
অতঃপর আমরা তাকে ও তার সঙ্গে যারা ছিল, তাদেরকে রক্ষা করলাম বোঝাই নৌযানে [নৌকাটি সকল মু'মিন ও সকল প্রাণীতে পরিপূর্ণ ছিল] ।
এরপর আমরা বাকী সবাইকে ডুবিয়ে দিলাম ।
এতে তো অবশ্যই নিদর্শন রয়েছে , কিন্তু তাদের অধিকাংশই ঈমানদার নয় ।
আর নিশ্চয়ই আপনার রব, তিনি তো পরাক্রমশালী, পরম দয়ালু।

The people of Noah denied the messengers
When their brother Noah said to them, Will you not fear Allah ?
Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger.
So fear Allah and obey me.
And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds.
So fear Allah and obey me.
They said, "Should we believe you while you are followed by the lowest [class of people]?"
He [Noah] said, "And what is my knowledge of what they used to do ?
Their account is only upon my Lord, if you [could] perceive.
And I am not one to drive away the believers.
I am only a clear warner .
They said, "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will surely be of those who are stoned."
He [Noah] said, "My Lord, indeed my people have denied me.
Then judge between me and them with decisive judgement and save me and those with me of the believers."
So We saved him and those with him in the laden ship.
Then We drowned thereafter the remaining ones.
Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers.
And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful.

Surah 29 | Al-Ankabut | আল-আনকাবূত | Verse: 14 - 15

আর আমরা তো নুহকে তার সস্প্রদায়ের কাছে পাঠিয়েছিলাম । তিনি তাদের মধ্যে অবস্থান করেছিলেন পঞ্চাশ কম হাজার বছর । অতঃপর মহাপ্লাবন তাদেরকে গ্রাস করল কারণ তারা ছিল সীমালঙ্ঘনকারী ।
অতঃপর আমরা তাকে এবং যারা নৌকায় আরোহণ করেছিল তাদেরকে রক্ষা করলাম এবং বিশ্ব-জগতের জন্য একে করলাম একটি নিদর্শন ।

And We certainly sent Noah to his people, and he remained among them a thousand years minus fifty years, and the flood seized them while they were wrongdoers.
But We saved him and the companions of the ship, and We made it a sign for the worlds.

Surah 36 | Ya-Sin | ইয়াসীন | Verse: 41

তাদের জন্য (আমার কুদরাতের) আরো একটি নিদর্শন এই যে, আমি তাদের বংশধরদেরকে (মহা প্লাবণের সময়) ভরা নৌকায় আরোহণ করিয়েছি।
And a sign for them is that We carried their forefathers in a laden ship.

Surah 37 | As-Saffat | আস-সাফফাত | Verse: 75 - 82

আর অবশ্যই নূহ আমাদেরকে ডেকেছিলেন , অতঃপর (দেখুন) আমরা কত উত্তম সাড়াদানকারী ।
তাকে এবং তার পরিবারবর্গকে আমরা উদ্ধার করেছিলাম মহাসংকট থেকে ।
আর তার বংশধরদেরকেই আমরা বিদ্যমান রেখেছি (বংশপরম্পরায়) ,
আর আমরা পরবর্তীদের মধ্যে তার জন্য সুখ্যাতি রেখেছি ।
সমগ্র বিশ্বের মধ্যে নূহের প্রতি শান্তি বর্ষিত হোক !
নিশ্চয় আমরা এভাবে সৎ কর্মশীলদেরকে পুরস্কৃত করে থাকি ।
নিশ্চয় তিনি ছিলেন আমাদের মুমিন বান্দাদের অন্যতম ।
তারপর অন্য সকলকে আমরা নিমজিত করেছিলাম ।

And Noah had certainly called Us, and [We are] the best of responders.
And We saved him and his family from the great affliction.
And We made his descendants those remaining [on the earth]
And left for him [favorable mention] among later generations .
"Peace upon Noah among the worlds."
Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good.
Indeed, he was of Our believing servants.
Then We drowned the disbelievers.

Surah 38 | Ṣād | সোয়াদ | Verse: 12 - 20

এদের পূর্বেও রসূলদেরকে মিথ্যাবাদী বলেছিল , নূহ, আ’দ ও বহু শিবিরের অধিপতি ফিরআউন সম্প্রদায় ।
সামূদ , লুত সম্প্রদায় ও আইকা'র অধিবাসী (শুআইব সম্প্রদায়) ওরা ছিল এক - একটি বিশাল বাহিনী ।
তাদের প্রত্যেকেই রাসূলগণের প্ৰতি মিথ্যারোপ করেছিল । ফলে তাদের ক্ষেত্রে আমার শান্তি ছিল অবধারিত ।
এরা তো অপেক্ষা করছে এক মহাগর্জনের , যাতে কোন বিরতি থাকবে না ।
আর তারা বলে, হে আমাদের রব! হিসাব দিবসের আগেই আমাদের প্ৰাপ্য আমাদেরকে শীঘ্রই দিয়ে দিন !
তারা যা বলে তাতে আপনি ধৈর্য ধারণ করুন এবং স্মরণ করুন আমাদের শক্তিশালী বান্দা দাউদের কথা ; তিনি ছিলেন খুব বেশী আল্লাহ অভিমুখী ।
নিশ্চয় আমরা অনুগত করেছিলাম পর্বতমালাকে , যেন এগুলো সকাল-সন্ধ্যায় তার (দাউদ (আঃ) সাথে আমার পবিত্রতা ও মহিমা ঘোষণা করে ,
আর সমবেত পাখীদেরকেও (অনুগত করেছিলাম) তার , প্রত্যেকেই ছিল অধিক আল্লাহ অভিমুখী ।
আর আমরা তার রাজ্যকে সুদৃঢ় করেছিলাম , আর তাকে দিয়েছিলাম জ্ঞান-বুদ্ধি-বিচক্ষণতা আর বিচারকার্য ও কথাবার্তায় উত্তম সিদ্ধান্ত দানের যোগ্যতা ।

The people of Noah denied before them, and [the tribe of] 'Aad and Pharaoh, the owner of stakes,
And [the tribe of] Thamud and the people of Lot and the companions of the thicket. Those are the companies.
Each of them denied the messengers, so My penalty was justified.
And these [disbelievers] await not but one blast [of the Horn]; for it there will be no delay.
And they say, "Our Lord, hasten for us our share [of the punishment] before the Day of Account
Be patient over what they say and remember Our servant, David, the possessor of strength; indeed, he was one who repeatedly turned back [to Allah].
Indeed, We subjected the mountains [to praise] with him (David), exalting [Allah] in the [late] afternoon and [after] sunrise.
And the birds were assembled, all with him repeating [praises].
And We strengthened his kingdom and gave him wisdom and discernment in speech.

Surah 51 | Adh-Dhariyat | আয-যারিয়াত | Verse: 46

আর ইতঃপূর্বে নূহের কওমকেও (আমি ধ্বংস করে দিয়েছিলাম) । নিশ্চয় তারা ছিল সত্যত্যাগী সম্প্রদায় ।
And [We destroyed] the people of Noah before ; indeed , they were a people defiantly disobedient .

Surah 54 | Al-Qamar | আল-কামার | Verse: 9 - 16

তাদের পূর্বে নূহের কওমও অস্বীকার করেছিল । তারা আমার বান্দাকে অস্বীকার করেছিল এবং বলেছিল , ‘ পাগল ’ । আর তাকে হুমকি দেয়া হয়েছিল । অতঃপর সে তার রবকে আহবান করল যে , ‘ নিশ্চয় আমি পরাজিত , অতএব তুমিই প্রতিশোধ গ্রহণ কর ’ । ফলে আমি বর্ষণশীল বারিধারার মাধ্যমে আসমানের দরজাসমূহ খুলে দিলাম । এবং মাটি হতে উৎসারিত করলাম প্রস্রবণ । অতঃপর সকল পানি মিলিত হল এক পরিকল্পনা অনুসারে । আর আমি তাকে ( নূহকে ) কাঠ ও পেরেক নির্মিত নৌযানে আরোহণ করালাম । যা চলত আমার প্রত্যক্ষ তত্ত্বাবধানে , তার জন্য পুরস্কারস্বরূপ , যাকে প্রত্যাখ্যান করা হয়েছিল । আর আমি তাকে নিদর্শন হিসেবে রেখেছি । অতএব কোন উপদেশ গ্রহণকারী আছে কি ? সুতরাং কী কঠোর ছিল আমার শাস্তি ও ভীতিপ্রদর্শন !
The people of Noah denied before them , and they denied Our servant and said , " A madman," and he was repelled . So he invoked his Lord , "Indeed, I am overpowered, so help . " Then We opened the gates of the heaven with rain pouring down . And caused the earth to burst with springs, and the waters met for a matter already predestined . And We carried him on a [ construction of ] planks and nails , Sailing under Our observation as reward for he who had been denied . And We left it as a sign , so is there any who will remember ? And how [severe] were My punishment and warning .

Surah 57 | Al-Hadid | আল-হাদীদ | Verse: 26

আর আমি তো নূহ ও ইবরাহীমকে রাসূলরূপে পাঠিয়েছিলাম এবং তাদের বংশধরদের মধ্যে নবুওয়াত ও কিতাব দিয়েছিলাম। তারপর তাদের মধ্যে কেউ কেউ সঠিক পথ অবলম্বনকারী ছিল, আর তাদের অধিকাংশই ছিল পাপাচারী।
And We have already sent Noah and Abraham and placed in their descendants prophethood and scripture; and among them is he who is guided, but many of them are defiantly disobedient

Surah 71 | Nuh | নূহ| Verse: 1 - 28

নিশ্চয় আমরা নূহকে পাঠিয়েছিলাম তার সম্প্রদায়ের প্রতি এ নির্দেশসহ যে, আপনি আপনার সম্প্রদায়কে সতর্ক করুন তাদের প্রতি যন্ত্রণাদায়ক শাস্তি আসার আগে। তিনি বললেন, হে আমার সম্প্রদায়! নিশ্চয় আমি তোমাদের জন্য স্পষ্ট সতর্ককারী । এ বিষয়ে যে, তোমরা আল্লাহর ‘ইবাদাত কর, তাঁকে ভয় কর এবং আমার আনুগত্য কর’। তাহলে তিনি তোমাদের জন্য তোমাদের পাপসমূহ ক্ষমা করবেন(১) এবং তোমাদেরকে অবকাশ দেবেন। এক নির্দিষ্ট সময় পর্যন্ত।(২) নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ কর্তৃক নির্দিষ্ট সময় উপস্থিত হলে তা বিলম্বিত করা হয় না; যদি তোমরা এটা জানতে! সে [ নূহ ] বলেছিল, ‘হে আমার প্রতিপালক! নিশ্চয় আমি আমার সম্প্রদায়কে দিবারাত্রি আহবান করেছি। কিন্তু আমার ডাক তাদের পলায়ন প্রবণতাই বৃদ্ধি করেছে। আমি যখন তাদের আহবান করি যাতে তুমি তাদেরকে ক্ষমা কর, তারা কানে অংগুলি দেয়, নিজেদেরকে বস্ত্রাবৃত করে ও জিদ করতে থাকে এবং অতিশয় ঔদ্ধত্য প্রকাশ করে। ‘তারপর আমি তাদেরকে প্রকাশ্যে আহবান করেছি’। এর পর আমি প্রকাশ্যভাবেও তাদের কাছে প্রচার করেছি, আর গোপনে গোপনেও তাদেরকে বুঝিয়েছি। আমি বলেছি- ‘তোমরা তোমাদের রব্বের কাছে ক্ষমা চাও, তিনি বড়ই ক্ষমাশীল। তিনি তোমাদের জন্য প্রচুর বৃষ্টিপাত করবেন, এবং তিনি তোমাদেরকে সমৃদ্ধ করবেন ধন-সম্পদ ও সন্তান-সন্ততিতে এবং তোমাদের জন্য স্থাপন করবেন উদ্যান ও প্রবাহিত করবেন নদী-নালা। ‘তোমাদের হল কী যে, তোমরা আল্লাহর শ্রেষ্ঠত্ব মেনে নিতে অস্বীকার করছ? অথচ তিনিই তোমাদেরকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন পর্যায়ক্রমে। তোমরা কি লক্ষ্য করনা আল্লাহ কিভাবে সৃষ্টি করেছেন সপ্ত আকাশ স্তরে স্তরে? এবং সেখানে চাঁদকে স্থাপন করেছেন আলোক রূপে ও সূর্যকে স্থাপন করেছেন প্রদীপ রূপে; তিনি তোমাদেরকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন মৃত্তিকা হতে। অতঃপর এই মাটিতেই তোমাদেরকে ফিরিয়ে আনবেন এবং তোমাদেরকে পুনরুত্থিত করবেন। আর আল্লাহ তোমাদের জন্য ভূমিকে বিস্তৃত করেছেন, যাতে তোমরা সেখানে চলাফেরা করতে পার প্রশস্ত পথে। নূহ বলেছিল, ‘হে আমার প্রতিপালক! আমার সম্প্রদায় তো আমাকে অমান্য করেছে এবং অনুসরণ করেছে এমন লোকের যার ধন-সম্পদ ও সন্তান-সন্ততি তার ক্ষতি ব্যতীত আর কিছুই বৃদ্ধি করেনি। আর তারা ষড়যন্ত্র করেছিল সাংঘাতিক ষড়যন্ত্র। এবং বলেছে, তোমরা কখনো পরিত্যাগ করো না তোমাদের উপাস্যদেরকে; পরিত্যাগ করো না ওয়াদ, সুওয়া’আ, ইয়াগূছ, ইয়াউক ও নাসরকে। ‘বস্তুত তারা অনেককে পথভ্রষ্ট করেছে, আর (হে আল্লাহ) আপনি যালিমদেরকে ভ্রষ্টতা ছাড়া আর কিছুই বাড়াবেন না’। তাদের অপরাধের জন্য তাদেরকে নিমজ্জিত করা হয়েছিল এবং পরে তাদেরকে প্রবেশ করানো হয়েছিল আগুনে, অতঃপর তারা আল্লাহ ব্যতীত অন্য কাউকেও সাহায্যকারী পায়নি। নূহ আরও বলেছিলেন, হে আমার রব্ব! ভূপৃষ্ঠে বসবাসকারী কাফিরদের একজনকেও তুমি রেহাই দিও না। তুমি যদি তাদেরকে রেহাই দাও, তাহলে তারা তোমার বান্দাহদেরকে গুমরাহ করে দেবে আর কেবল পাপাচারী কাফির জন্ম দিতে থাকবে। হে আমার রব! আপনি ক্ষমা করুন আমাকে। আমার পিতামাতাকে এবং যারা মুমিন হয়ে আমার ঘরে প্রবেশ করে তাদেরকে এবং মুমিন পুরুষ ও মুমিন নারীদেরকে; আর যালিমদের শুধু ধ্বংসই বৃদ্ধি করুন।
Indeed, We sent Noah to his people, [saying], "Warn your people before there comes to them a painful punishment." He said, "O my people, indeed I am to you a clear warner, [Saying], 'Worship Allah, fear Him and obey me. Allah will forgive you of your sins and delay you for a specified term. Indeed, the time [set by] Allah, when it comes, will not be delayed, if you only knew.' " He [ Noah ] said, "My Lord, indeed I invited my people [to truth] night and day. But my invitation increased them not except in flight. And indeed, every time I invited them that You may forgive them, they put their fingers in their ears, covered themselves with their garments, persisted, and were arrogant with [great] arrogance. Then I invited them publicly. Then I announced to them and [also] confided to them secretly. And said, 'Ask forgiveness of your Lord. Indeed, He is ever a Perpetual Forgiver. He will send [rain from] the sky upon you in [continuing] showers. And give you increase in wealth and children and provide for you gardens and provide for you rivers. What is [the matter] with you that you do not attribute to Allah [due] grandeur. While He has created you in stages? Do you not consider how Allah has created seven heavens in layers. And made the moon therein a [reflected] light and made the sun a burning lamp? And Allah has caused you to grow from the earth a [progressive] growth. Then He will return you into it and extract you [another] extraction. And Allah has made for you the earth an expanse, Noah said, "My Lord, indeed they have disobeyed me and followed him whose wealth and children will not increase him except in loss. And they conspired an immense conspiracy. And said, 'Never leave your gods and never leave Wadd or Suwa' or Yaghuth and Ya'uq and Nasr. And already they have misled many. And, [my Lord], do not increase the wrongdoers except in error." Because of their sins they were drowned and put into the Fire, and they found not for themselves besides Allah [any] helpers. And Noah said, "My Lord, do not leave upon the earth from among the disbelievers an inhabitant. Indeed, if You leave them, they will mislead Your servants and not beget except [every] wicked one and [confirmed] disbeliever. My Lord, forgive me and my parents and whoever enters my house a believer and the believing men and believing women. And do not increase the wrongdoers except in destruction." -

Surah 11 | Hud | হুদ | Verse: 36 - 48

আর নূহের প্রতি অহী করা হয়েছিল , যারা ঈমান এনেছে তারা ছাড়া আপনার সম্প্রদায়ের অন্য কেউ কখনো ঈমান আনবে না । কাজেই তারা যা করে তার জন্য আপনি চিন্তিত হবেন না । আর আপনি আমাদের চাক্ষুষ তত্ত্বাবধানে ও আমাদের ওহী অনুযায়ী নৌকা নির্মাণ করুন এবং যারা যুলুম করেছে তাদের সম্পর্কে আপনি আমাকে কোন আবেদন করবেন না ; তারা তো নিমজ্জিত হবে । আর তিনি নৌকা নির্মাণ করতে লাগলেন এবং যখনই তার সম্প্রদায়ের নেতারা তাঁর পাশ দিয়ে যেত, তাকে নিয়ে উপহাস করত ; তিনি বললেন, তোমরা যদি আমাদেরকে নিয়ে উপহাস কর , তবে নিশ্চয় আমরাও তোমাদেরকে উপহাস করব , যেমন তোমরা উপহাস করছ ; অতঃপর তোমরা শীঘ্রই জানতে পারবে , কার উপর আসবে এমন শাস্তি যা তাকে লাঞ্ছিত করবে , আর তার উপর আপতিত হবে স্থায়ী শাস্তি । অবশেষে যখন আমার আদেশ আসল এবং যমীন হতে পানি উথলে উঠতে লাগল , আমি বললাম , ‘ তুমি তাতে তুলে নাও প্রত্যেক শ্রেণী থেকে জোড়া জোড়া এবং যাদের ব্যাপারে সিদ্ধান্ত হয়ে গিয়েছে তাদের ছাড়া তোমার পরিবারকে এবং যারা ঈমান এনেছে তাদেরকে । আর তার সাথে অল্পসংখ্যকই ঈমান এনেছিল । আর তিনি বললেন , তোমরা এতে আরোহন কর, আল্লাহর নামে এর গতি ও স্থিতি , নিশ্চয় আমার প্রতিপালক চরম ক্ষমাশীল , পরম দয়াবান । ’ আর সেই নৌকাটি তাদেরকে নিয়ে পবর্ততুল্য তরঙ্গের মধ্যে চলতে লাগল , আর নূহ স্বীয় পুত্রকে ডাকতে লাগল এবং সে ছিল ভিন্ন স্থানে ; ‘ হে আমার পুত্র, আমাদের সাথে আরোহণ কর এবং কাফিরদের সাথে থেকো না ’। সে বলল , ‘অচিরেই আমি একটি পাহাড়ে আশ্রয় নেব , যা আমাকে পানি থেকে রক্ষা করবে ’। সে (নূহ) বলল , ‘যার প্রতি আল্লাহ দয়া করেছেন সে ছাড়া আজ আল্লাহর আদেশ থেকে কোন রক্ষাকারী নেই ’। এরপর তাদের উভয়ের মধ্যে ঢেউ অন্তরায় হয়ে গেল অতঃপর সে নিমজ্জিতদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হয়ে গেল । আর বলা হল , ‘ হে যমীন , তুমি তোমার পানি চুষে নাও , আর হে আসমান, বিরত হও ’। অতঃপর পানি কমে গেল এবং ( আল্লাহর ) সিদ্ধান্ত বাস্তবায়িত হল , আর নৌকা জুদী পর্বতের উপর উঠল এবং ঘোষণা করা হল , ‘ যালিম সম্প্রদায়ের জন্য ধ্বংস '। আর নূহ তার রবকে ডেকে বললেন , হে আমার রব ! নিশ্চয় আমার পুত্র আমার পরিবারভুক্ত এবং নিশ্চয় আপনার প্রতিশ্রুতি সত্য , আর আপনি তো বিচারকের মধ্যে শ্রেষ্ঠ বিচারক । আল্লাহ বললেন , হে নূ ! নিশ্চয় সে আপনার পরিবারভুক্ত নয় । সে অবশ্যই অসৎকর্মপরায়ণ । কাজেই যে বিষয়ে আপনার জ্ঞান নেই সে বিষয়ে আমাকে অনুরোধ করবেন না । আমি আপনাকে উপদেশ দিচ্ছি, আপনি যেন অজ্ঞদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত না হন । তিনি বললেন , হে আমার রব ! যে বিষয়ে আমার জ্ঞান নেই, সে বিষয়ে যাতে আপনাকে অনুরোধ না করি , এ জন্য আমি আপনার আশ্রয় প্রার্থনা করছি । আপনি যদি আমাকে ক্ষমা না করেন এবং আমাকে দয়া না করেন , তবে আমি ক্ষতিগ্রস্তদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হব । বলা হল, হে নূহ ! অবতরণ করুন আমাদের পক্ষ থেকে শান্তি ও কল্যাণসহ এবং আপনার প্রতি ও যে সব সম্প্রদায় আপনার সাথে রয়েছে তাদের প্রতি ; আর কিছু সম্প্রদায় রয়েছে আমরা তাদেরকে জীবন উপভোগ করতে দেব , পরে আমাদের পক্ষ থেকে যন্ত্রণাদায়ক শাস্তি তাদেরকে স্পর্শ করবে ;
And it was revealed to Noah that , " No one will believe from your people except those who have already believed , so do not be distressed by what they have been doing . And construct the ship under Our observation and Our inspiration and do not address Me concerning those who have wronged ; indeed , they are [to be] drowned ." And he constructed the ship , and whenever an assembly of the eminent of his people passed by him , they ridiculed him . He said , " If you ridicule us , then we will ridicule you just as you ridicule . And you are going to know who will get a punishment that will disgrace him [on earth] and upon whom will descend an enduring punishment [in the Hereafter] ." [So it was] , until when Our command came and the oven overflowed , We said , " Load upon the ship of each [creature] two mates and your family , except those about whom the word has preceded , and [include] whoever has believed ." But none had believed with him , except a few . And [Noah] said , " Embark therein ; in the name of Allah is its course and its anchorage . Indeed , my Lord is Forgiving and Merciful ." And it sailed with them through waves like mountains, and Noah called to his son who was apart [from them] , " O my son, come aboard with us and be not with the disbelievers ." But] he said , " I will take refuge on a mountain to protect me from the water ." [Noah] said , " There is no protector today from the decree of Allah , except for whom He gives mercy ." And the waves came between them , and he was among the drowned . And it was said , " O earth , swallow your water , and O sky , withhold [your rain] ." And the water subsided , and the matter was accomplished , and the ship came to rest on the [mountain of] Judiyy . And it was said , " Away with the wrongdoing people ." And Noah called to his Lord and said , " My Lord, indeed my son is of my family ; and indeed , Your promise is true ; and You are the most just of judges !" He said , " O Noah , indeed he is not of your family ; indeed , he is [one whose] work was other than righteous , so ask Me not for that about which you have no knowledge . Indeed , I advise you , lest you be among the ignorant ." [Noah] said, " My Lord , I seek refuge in You from asking that of which I have no knowledge . And unless You forgive me and have mercy upon me , I will be among the losers ." It was said , " O Noah , disembark in security from Us and blessings upon you and upon nations [descending] from those with you . But other nations [of them] We will grant enjoyment ; then there will touch them from Us a painful punishment ."

Surah 66 | At-Tahrim | আত-তাহরীম | Verse: 10

যারা কুফরি করে তাদের জন্য আল্লাহ নূহের স্ত্রীর ও লূতের স্ত্রীর উদাহরণ পেশ করেন ; তারা আমার বান্দাদের মধ্য হতে দু’জন সৎবান্দার অধীনে ছিল , কিন্তু তারা উভয়ে তাদের সাথে বিশ্বাসঘাতকতা করেছিল , অতঃপর আল্লাহর আযাব হতে রক্ষায় নূহ ও লূত তাদের কোন কাজে আসেনি। বলা হল ,‘ জাহান্নামে প্রবেশকারীদের সাথে তোমরাও তাতে প্রবেশ কর ।’

Allah presents an example of those who disbelieved: the wife of Noah and the wife of Lot . They were under two of Our righteous servants but betrayed them, so those prophets did not avail them from Allah at all , and it was said , " Enter the Fire with those who enter ."
