যখন একজন মানুষ মারা যায়, তার সব কাজ শেষ হয়ে যায় , তিনটি ব্যতিক্রম ছাড়া: সদকা জারিয়া (চলমান দান) , এমন জ্ঞান যা থেকে উ পকার পাওয়া যায়, এবং একটি সৎ সন্তান যে তার জন্য দোয়া করে । | মুহাম্মদ (সাঃ) ; হাদিস - সহিহ মুসলিম | When a person dies, his works end, except for three: ongoing charity, knowledge that is benefited from, and a righteous child who prays for him. | Prophet Mohammed (PBUH); Hadith - Sahih Muslim |

যে ব্যক্তি ভাল কাজের জন্য সুপারিশ করবে, তার জন্য তাতে (সাওয়াবের) অংশ আছে এবং যে মন্দ কাজের জন্য সুপারিশ করবে, তার জন্য তাতে অংশ আছে । আর আল্লাহ সব কিছুর উপর নজর রাখেন । | সূরাঃ ৪ , আন-নিসা , আয়াতঃ : ৮৫ | Whoever intercedes for a good cause will have a reward therefrom; and whoever intercedes for an evil cause will have a burden therefrom. And ever is Allah, over all things, a Keeper. | Surah 4 , An-Nisa , Verse: 85 |

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
আল্লাহর নামে, যিনি পরম করুণাময়, পরম দয়ালু
Surah 11 | Hud | হুদ | Verse: 84 - 95
- আর মাদইয়ানবাসীদের কাছে আমি তাদের ভ াই শু‘আয়বকে পাঠিয়েছিলাম । সে বলেছিল , ‘ হে আমার সম্প্রদায় ! তোমরা আল্লাহর ‘ ইবাদাত কর , তিনি ছাড়া তোমাদের কোন সত্য ইলাহ নেই , আর মাপে ও ওজনে কম দিও না , আমি তো তোমাদের প্রাচুর্যশীল দেখছি , কিন্তু আমি তোমাদের উপর এক সর্বগ্রাসী দিনের আযাবের ভয় করছি ’।
- হে আমার সম্প্রদায় ! তোমরা ন্যায়সঙ্গতভাবে মাপো ও ওজন করো , লোকদেরকে তাদের প্রাপ্য বস্তু কম দিও না এবং যমীনে বিপর্যয় সৃষ্টি করে বেড়িও না ।
- ‘ আল্লাহর দেয়া উদ্বৃত্ত লাভ তোমাদের জন্য কল্যাণকর , যদি তোমরা মুমিন হও । আর আমি তো তোমাদের হিফাযতকারী নই ’।
- তারা বলল , ‘ হে শু‘আইব , তোমার সালাত কি তোমাকে এই নির্দেশ প্রদান করে যে , আমাদের পিতৃপুরুষগণ যাদের ইবাদাত করত, আমরা তাদের ত্যাগ করি? অথবা আমাদের সম্পদে আমরা ইচ্ছামত যা করি তাও ( ত্যাগ করি ?) তুমি তো বেশ সহনশীল সুবোধ ’!
- তিনি বললেন , হে আমার সম্প্রদায় ! তোমরা ভেবে দেখেছ কি , আমি যদি আমার রব প্রেরিত স্পষ্ট প্রমাণে প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয়ে থাকি এবং তিনি যদি তাঁর কাছ থেকে আমাকে উৎকৃষ্ট রিযক দান করে থাকেন ( তবে কি করে আমি আমার কর্তব্য হতে বিরত থাকব ?) আর আমি তোমাদেরকে যা নিষেধ করি আমি নিজে তার বিপরীত করতে ইচ্ছে করি না । আমি তো আমার সাধ্যমত সংস্কারই করতে চাই আমার কার্যসাধন তো আল্লাহরই সাহায্যে ; আমি তারই উপর নির্ভর করি এবং তারই অভিমুখী ।
- আর হে আমার সম্প্রদায় ! আমার সাথে বিরোধ যেন কিছুতেই তোমাদেরকে এমন অপরাধ না করায় যার ফলে তোমাদের উপর তার অনুরূপ বিপদ আপতিত হবে যা আপতিত হয়েছিল নূহের সম্প্রদায়ের উপর অথবা হুদের সম্প্রদায়ের উপর কিংবা সালেহের সম্প্রদায়ের উপর ; আর লূতের সম্প্রদায় তো তোমাদের থেকে দূরে নয় ।
- আর তোমরা তোমাদের রবের কাছে ক্ষমা প্রার্থনা কর ও তার দিকে ফিরে আস ; আমার রব তো পরম দয়ালু , অতি স্নেহময় ।
- তারা বলল, হে শু’আইব ! তুমি যা বল তার অনেক কথা আমরা বুঝি না এবং আমরা তো আমাদের মধ্যে তোমাকে দুর্বলই দেখছি । তোমার স্বজনবর্গ না থাকলে আমরা তোমাকে পাথর নিক্ষেপ করে মেরে ফেলতাম , আর আমাদের উপর তুমি শক্তিশালী নও । -তিনি বললেন , হে আমার সম্প্রদায় ! আমার স্বজনরা কি তোমাদের কাছে আল্লাহ অপেক্ষা অধিক সম্মানিত ? আর তোমরা তাঁকে একেবারে পেছনে ঠেলে দিলে ? তোমরা যা কর , নিশ্চয় আমার রব তা পরিবেষ্টন করে আছেন ’।
- আর হে আমার সম্প্রদায় ! তোমরা তোমাদের অবস্থানে কাজ করে যাও , আমিও কাজ করছি। অচিরেই তোমরা জানতে পারবে কার কাছে আসবে সে আযাব যা তাকে লাঞ্ছিত করবে এবং কে মিথ্যাবাদী । আর তোমরা অপেক্ষা কর , আমিও তোমাদের সাথে অপেক্ষমান ।
- আর যখন আমার নির্দেশ আসল তখন আমরা শু'আইব ও তার সঙ্গে যারা ঈমান এনেছিল তাদেরকে আমাদের অনুগ্রহে রক্ষা করেছিলাম । আর যারা যুলুম করেছিল বিকট চীৎকার তাদেরকে আঘাত করল , ফলে তারা নিজ নিজ ঘরে নতজানু অবস্থায় পড়ে রইল ।
- যেন তারা সেখানে কখনো বসবাস করেনি । জেনে রাখ ! ধ্বংসই ছিল মাদইয়ানবাসীর পরিণাম , যেভাবে ধ্বংস হয়েছিল সামূদ সম্প্রদায় ।
- And to Madyan [We sent] their brother Shu'ayb . He said , "O my people, worship Allah; you have no deity other than Him. And do not decrease from the measure and the scale . Indeed , I see you in prosperity , but indeed , I fear for you the punishment of an all-encompassing Day .
- And O my people , give full measure and weight in justice and do not deprive the people of their due and do not commit abuse on the earth , spreading corruption .
- What remains [lawful] from Allah is best for you , if you would be believers . But I am not a guardian over you ."
- They said , " O Shu'ayb , does your prayer command you that we should leave what our fathers worship or not do with our wealth what we please ? Indeed , you are the forbearing , the discerning !"
- He said , " O my people , have you considered : if I am upon clear evidence from my Lord and He has provided me with a good provision from Him... ? And I do not intend to differ from you in that which I have forbidden you ; I only intend reform as much as I am able . And my success is not but through Allah . Upon him I have relied , and to Him I return .
- And O my people , let not [your] dissension from me cause you to be struck by that similar to what struck the people of Noah or the people of Hud or the people of Salih . And the people of Lot are not from you far away .
- And ask forgiveness of your Lord and then repent to Him . Indeed , my Lord is Merciful and Affectionate ." -They said , " O Shu'ayb , we do not understand much of what you say, and indeed, we consider you among us as weak . And if not for your family , we would have stoned you [to death] ; and you are not to us one respected ."
- He said , " O my people , is my family more respected for power by you than Allah ? But you put Him behind your backs [in neglect] . Indeed , my Lord is encompassing of what you do .
- And O my people, work according to your position ; indeed , I am working . You are going to know to whom will come a punishment that will disgrace him and who is a liar . So watch ; indeed , I am with you a watcher , [awaiting the outcome] ."
- And when Our command came , We saved Shu'ayb and those who believed with him , by mercy from Us. And the shriek seized those who had wronged , and they became within their homes [corpses] fallen prone .
- As if they had never prospered therein. Then, away with Madyan as Thamud was taken away.
Surah 26 | Ash-Shu'ara | আশ-শুআ'রা | Verse: 176 - 191
- আইকার অধিবাসীরা রাসূলদেরকে অস্বীকার করেছিল ।
- যখন শু‘আয়ব তাদেরকে বলেছিল - তোমরা কি (আল্লাহকে) ভয় করবে না ?
- আমি তো তোমাদের জন্য এক বিশ্বস্ত রাসূল ।
- সুতরাং তোমরা আল্লাহকে ভয় কর এবং আমার আনুগত্য কর ।
- আর আমি তোমাদের কাছে এর জন্য কোন প্রতিদান চাই না । আমার পুরস্কার তো সৃষ্টিকুলের রব-এর কাছেই আছে ।
- মাপে পূর্ণ মাত্রায় দেবে ; আর যারা মাপে কম দেয় তোমরা তাদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হয়ে না ।
- এবং ওজন করবে সঠিক দাড়িপাল্লায় ।
- আর লোকদেরকে তাদের প্রাপ্য বস্তু কম দিও না এবং পৃথিবীতে বিপর্যয় সৃষ্টি করে বেড়িও না ।
- এবং ভয় কর তাঁকে , যিনি তোমাদেরকে ও তোমাদের পূর্ববর্তী জাতিসমূহকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন ।
- তারা বলল- ‘তুমি তো কেবল যাদুগ্রস্তদের একজন ।
- আর তুমি তো আমাদের মতই একজন মানুষ , আমরা তো তোমাকে মিথ্যাবাদীদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত মনে করি ।
- সুতরাং তুমি যদি সত্যবাদী হও তবে আকাশের এক টুকরো আমাদের উপর ফেলে দাও ।
- শু‘আয়ব বললেন , আমার রব ভাল করে জানেন তোমরা যা কর ।
- অতঃপর তারা তাকে অস্বীকার করল । ফলে তাদেরকে এক মেঘাচ্ছন্ন দিবসের আযাব পাকড়াও করল । অবশ্যই তা ছিল এক মহা দিবসের আযাব ।
- নিশ্চয় এতে অনেক নিদর্শন রয়েছে । কিন্তু তাদের অধিকাংশই বিশ্বাস করে না ।
- আর নিশ্চয় আপনার রব, তিনি তো পরাক্রমশালী, পরম দয়ালু ।
- The companions of the thicket denied the messengers
- When Shu'ayb said to them, "Will you not fear Allah?
- Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger.
- So fear Allah and obey me.
- And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds.
- Give full measure and do not be of those who cause loss .
- And weigh with an even balance.
- And do not deprive people of their due and do not commit abuse on earth, spreading corruption.
- And fear He who created you and the former creation.
- They said, "You are only of those affected by magic.
- You are but a man like ourselves , and indeed , we think you are among the liars .
- So cause to fall upon us fragments of the sky, if you should be of the truthful.
- Shu'ayb said, My Lord is most knowing of what you do.
- And they denied him, so the punishment of the day of the black cloud seized them. Indeed, it was the punishment of a terrible day.
- Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers.
- And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful.
Surah 29 | Al-Ankabut | আল-আনকাবূত | Verse: 36 - 37
- আর আমরা মাদইয়ানবাসীদের প্রতি তাদের ভাই শু’আইবকে পাঠিয়েছিলাম অতঃপর তিনি বলেছিলেন, হে আমার সম্প্রদায় ! তোমরা আল্লাহর ইবাদাত কর, এবং শেষ দিনের আশা কর । আর যমীনে বিপর্যয় সৃষ্টি করে বেড়িও না ।
- অতঃপর তারা তার প্রতি মিথ্যা আরোপ করল ; ফলে তারা ভূমিকম্প দ্বারা আক্রান্ত হয়ে নিজ ঘরে নতজানু অবস্থায় শেষ হয়ে গেল ।
- And to Madyan [We sent] their brother Shu'ayb, and he said, "O my people, worship Allah and expect the Last Day and do not commit abuse on the earth, spreading corruption."
- But they denied him, so the earthquake seized them, and they became within their home [corpses] fallen prone.
