যখন একজন মানুষ মারা যায়, তার সব কাজ শেষ হয়ে যায় , তিনটি ব্যতিক্রম ছাড়া: সদকা জারিয়া (চলমান দান) , এমন জ্ঞান যা থেকে উপকার পাওয়া যায়, এবং একটি সৎ সন্তান যে তার জন্য দোয়া করে । | মুহাম্মদ (সাঃ) ; হাদিস - সহিহ মুসলিম | When a person dies, his works end, except for three: ongoing charity, knowledge that is benefited from, and a righteous child who prays for him. | Prophet Mohammed (PBUH); Hadith - Sahih Muslim |
যে ব্যক্তি ভাল কাজের জন্য সুপারিশ করবে, তার জন্য তাতে (সাওয়াবের) অংশ আছে এবং যে মন্দ কাজের জন্য সুপারিশ করবে, তার জন্য তাতে অংশ আছে । আর আল্লাহ সব কিছুর উপর নজর রাখেন । | সূরাঃ ৪ , আন-নিসা , আয়াতঃ : ৮৫ | Whoever intercedes for a good cause will have a reward therefrom; and whoever intercedes for an evil cause will have a burden therefrom. And ever is Allah, over all things, a Keeper. | Surah 4 , An-Nisa , Verse: 85 |

In Islam, donations and charitable giving are highly encouraged and are considered a fundamental part of faith and social responsibility. The Quran frequently emphasizes the importance of charity, portraying it as a means to earn Allah's pleasure and favor. There are two primary forms of charity:

Zakat: This is an obligatory form of charity and one of the five pillars of Islam. Every Muslim who meets the minimum wealth threshold (nisab) is required to give a portion (usually 2.5%) of their wealth annually to help those in need, such as the poor, orphans, and travelers. Zakat purifies the wealth and ensures a fair distribution of resources within society.

Sadaqah: This is voluntary charity, which can be given at any time and in any amount. Sadaqah is not limited to financial contributions; it also includes any good act, such as helping someone, showing kindness, or even smiling at another person. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said, “Every good deed is charity” (Sahih Muslim).

ইসলামে দান এবং চ্যারিটেবল কাজ অত্যন্ত উৎসাহিত করা হয়। কুরআন দানের গুরুত্ব বারবার উল্লেখ করে এবং এটিকে আল্লাহর সন্তুষ্টি এবং অনুগ্রহ অর্জনের একটি উপায় হিসেবে উপস্থাপন করে। দানের প্রধান দুটি ধরন হলো:

যাকাত: এটি একটি বাধ্যতামূলক দান এবং ইসলামের পাঁচটি স্তম্ভের একটি। যেকোনো মুসলিম যিনি নির্ধারিত সম্পদের পরিমাণ (নিসাব) পূরণ করেন, তাকে তাদের সম্পদের একটি অংশ (সাধারণত ২.৫%) প্রতি বছর গরীব, এতিম এবং যাত্রীর মতো প্রয়োজনীয়দের সাহায্য করতে হয়। যাকাত সম্পদকে পবিত্র করে এবং সমাজে সম্পদের সুষম বণ্টন নিশ্চিত করে।

সাদাকাহ: এটি একটি স্বেচ্ছাসেবী দান, যা যেকোনো সময় এবং যেকোনো পরিমাণে প্রদান করা যেতে পারে। সাদাকাহ শুধু আর্থিক সহায়তা নয়; এটি কোনো ভালো কাজ, যেমন কাউকে সাহায্য করা, দয়া প্রদর্শন করা, বা হাসি দিয়ে অন্যকে আনন্দিত করা সহ অন্যান্য ভালো কাজকেও অন্তর্ভুক্ত করে। নবী মুহাম্মদ (সাঃ) বলেছেন, 'প্রত্যেক ভালো কাজ একটি দান' (সাহিহ মুসলিম)।"

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
আল্লাহর নামে, যিনি পরম করুণাময়, পরম দয়ালু

Surah 2 | Al-Baqara | আল-বাকারা | Verse: 177

ভালো কাজ এটা নয় যে, তোমরা তোমাদের চেহারা পূর্ব ও পশ্চিম দিকে ফিরাবে; বরং ভালো কাজ হল যে ঈমান আনে আল্লাহ, শেষ দিবস, ফেরেশতাগণ, কিতাব ও নবীগণের প্রতি এবং যে সম্পদ প্রদান করে তার প্রতি আসক্তি সত্ত্বেও নিকটাত্মীয়গণকে, ইয়াতীম, অসহায়, মুসাফির ও প্রার্থনাকারীকে এবং বন্দিমুক্তিতে এবং যে সালাত কায়েম করে, যাকাত দেয় এবং যারা অঙ্গীকার করে তা পূর্ণ করে, যারা ধৈর্যধারণ করে কষ্ট ও দুর্দশায় ও যুদ্ধের সময়ে। তারাই সত্যবাদী এবং তারাই মুত্তাকী।
Righteousness is not that you turn your faces toward the east or the west, but [true] righteousness is [in] one who believes in Allah, the Last Day, the angels, the Book, and the prophets and gives wealth, in spite of love for it, to relatives, orphans, the needy, the traveler, those who ask [for help], and for freeing slaves; [and who] establishes prayer and gives zakah; [those who] fulfill their promise when they promise; and [those who] are patient in poverty and hardship and during battle. Those are the ones who have been true, and it is those who are the righteous.

Surah 2 | Al-Baqara | আল-বাকারা | Verse: 215

লোকেরা জিজ্ঞেস করছে, আমরা কি ব্যয় করবো? জবাব দাও, যে অর্থই তোমরা ব্যয় কর না কেন তা নিজেদের পিতা-মাতা, আত্মীয়-স্বজন, ইয়াতীম, মিসকিন ও মুসাফিরদের জন্য ব্যয় করো। আর যে সৎকাজই তোমরা করবে সে সম্পর্কে আল্লাহ‌ অবগত হবেন।
তারা তোমাকে জিজ্ঞাসা করে, তারা কী ব্যয় করবে? বল, ‘তোমরা যে সম্পদ ব্যয় করবে, তা পিতা-মাতা, আত্মীয়, ইয়াতীম, মিসকীন ও মুসাফিরদের জন্য। আর যে কোন ভাল কাজ তোমরা কর, নিশ্চয় সে ব্যাপারে আল্লাহ সুপরিজ্ঞাত’।
They ask you, [O Muhammad], what they should spend. Say, "Whatever you spend of good is [to be] for parents and relatives and orphans and the needy and the traveler. And whatever you do of good - indeed, Allah is Knowing of it."

Surah 2 | Al-Baqara | আল-বাকারা | Verse: 245

কে আছে, যে আল্লাহকে উত্তম ঋণ দেবে, ফলে তিনি তার জন্য বহু গুণে বাড়িয়ে দেবেন? আর আল্লাহ সংকীর্ণ করেন ও প্রসারিত করেন এবং তাঁরই নিকট তোমাদেরকে ফিরানো হবে।
Who is it that would loan Allah a goodly loan so He may multiply it for him many times over? And it is Allah who withholds and grants abundance, and to Him you will be returned.

Surah 2 | Al-Baqara | আল-বাকারা | Verse: 261

যারা আল্লাহর পথে স্বীয় ধন-সম্পদ ব্যয় করে তাদের উপমা যেমন একটি শস্যবীজ, তা হতে উৎপন্ন হল সাতটি শীষ, প্রত্যেক শীষে (উৎপন্ন হল) এক শত শস্য, এবং আল্লাহ যার জন্য ইচ্ছা করেন বর্ধিত করে দেন; বস্তুতঃ আল্লাহ হচ্ছেন অতি দানশীল, সর্বজ্ঞ।
The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed [of grain] which grows seven spikes; in each spike is a hundred grains. And Allah multiplies [His reward] for whom He wills. And Allah is all-Encompassing and Knowing.

Surah 2 | Al-Baqara | আল-বাকারা | Verse: 262

যারা আল্লাহর রাস্তায় তাদের সম্পদ ব্যয় করে, অতঃপর তারা যা ব্যয় করেছে, তার পেছনে খোঁটা দেয় না এবং কোন কষ্টও দেয় না, তাদের জন্য তাদের রবের নিকট তাদের প্রতিদান রয়েছে এবং তাদের কোন ভয় নেই, আর তারা চিন্তিত হবে না।
Those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah and then do not follow up what they have spent with reminders [of it] or [other] injury will have their reward with their Lord, and there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve.

Surah 2 | Al-Baqara | আল-বাকারা | Verse: 267

হে মুমিনগণ! তোমরা যা উপার্জন কর এবং আমরা যা যমীন থেকে তোমাদের জন্য উৎপাদন করি তা থেকে যা উৎকৃষ্ট তা ব্যয় কর; এবং নিকৃষ্ট বস্তু ব্যয় করার সংকল্প করো না, অথচ তোমরা তা গ্রহণ করবে না, যদি না তোমরা চোখ বন্ধ করে থাক। আর জেনে রাখ, নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ অভাবমুক্ত, প্রশংসিত।
O you who have believed, spend from the good things which you have earned and from that which We have produced for you from the earth. And do not aim toward the defective therefrom, spending [from that] while you would not take it [yourself] except with closed eyes. And know that Allah is Free of need and Praiseworthy.

Surah 2 | Al-Baqara | আল-বাকারা | Verse: 274-275

যারা তাদের সম্পদ ব্যয় করে রাতে ও দিনে, গোপনে ও প্রকাশ্যে। অতএব, তাদের জন্যই রয়েছে তাদের রবের নিকট তাদের প্রতিদান। আর তাদের কোন ভয় নেই এবং তারা চিন্তিতও হবে না। যারা সুদ খায়, তারা তার ন্যায় (কবর থেকে) উঠবে, যাকে শয়তান স্পর্শ করে পাগল বানিয়ে দেয়। এটা এ জন্য যে, তারা বলে, বেচা-কেনা সুদের মতই। অথচ আল্লাহ বেচা-কেনা হালাল করেছেন এবং সুদ হারাম করেছেন। অতএব, যার কাছে তার রবের পক্ষ থেকে উপদেশ আসার পর সে বিরত হল, যা গত হয়েছে তা তার জন্যই ইচ্ছাধীন। আর তার ব্যাপারটি আল্লাহর হাওলায়। আর যারা ফিরে গেল, তারা আগুনের অধিবাসী। তারা সেখানে স্থায়ী হবে।
Those who spend their wealth [in Allah 's way] by night and by day, secretly and publicly - they will have their reward with their Lord. And no fear will there be concerning them, nor will they grieve. Those who consume interest cannot stand [on the Day of Resurrection] except as one stands who is being beaten by Satan into insanity. That is because they say, "Trade is [just] like interest." But Allah has permitted trade and has forbidden interest. So whoever has received an admonition from his Lord and desists may have what is past, and his affair rests with Allah. But whoever returns to [dealing in interest or usury] - those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide eternally therein .

Surah 2 | Al-Baqara | আল-বাকারা | Verse: 277

নিশ্চয় যারা ঈমান আনে ও নেক আমল করে এবং সালাত কায়েম করে, আর যাকাত প্রদান করে, তাদের জন্য রয়েছে তাদের রবের নিকট প্রতিদান। আর তাদের কোন ভয় নেই এবং তারা চিন্তিতও হবে না।
Indeed, those who believe and do righteous deeds and establish prayer and give zakah will have their reward with their Lord, and there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve.

Surah 5 | Al-Ma'ida | আল-মায়েদা | Verse: 12

নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ বনী-ইস্রাঈলের অঙ্গীকার গ্রহণ করেছিলেন এবং তাদের মধ্য হতে বারো জন নেতা নিযুক্ত করেছিলেন আর বলেছিলেন, ‘আমি তোমাদের সঙ্গে আছি, তোমরা যদি নামায পড়, যাকাত দাও, আর আমার রসূলগণকে বিশ্বাস কর ও তাদেরকে সাহায্য কর এবং আল্লাহকে উত্তম ঋণ প্রদান কর, তাহলে তোমাদের পাপরাশি অবশ্যই মোচন করব এবং নিশ্চয় তোমাদেরকে বেহেশ্তে প্রবেশাধিকার দান করব; যার পাদদেশে নদীমালা প্রবাহিত। এর পরও তোমাদের মধ্যে যে অবিশ্বাস করবে সে সরল পথ হারাবে।’
And Allah had already taken a covenant from the Children of Israel, and We delegated from among them twelve leaders. And Allah said, "I am with you. If you establish prayer and give zakah and believe in My messengers and support them and loan Allah a goodly loan, I will surely remove from you your misdeeds and admit you to gardens beneath which rivers flow. But whoever of you disbelieves after that has certainly strayed from the soundness of the way."

Surah 9 | At-Tawba | আত-তাওবা | Verse: 34-35

হে ঈমানদারগণ! এ আহলে কিতাবদের অধিকাংশ আলেম ও দরবেশের অবস্থা হচ্ছে এই যে, তারা মানুষের ধন-সম্পদ অন্যায় পদ্ধতিতে খায় এবং তাদেরকে আল্লাহর পথ থেকে ফিরিয়ে রাখে। যারা সোনা রূপা জমা করে রাখে এবং তা আল্লাহর পথে ব্যয় করে না তাদেরকে যন্ত্রণাময় আযাবের সুখবর দাও। একদিন আসবে যখন এ সোনা ও রূপাকে জাহান্নামের আগুনে উত্তপ্ত করা হবে, অতঃপর তারই সাহায্যে তাদের কপালে, পার্শ্বদেশে ও পিঠে দাগ দেয়া হবে- এ সেই সম্পদ যা তোমরা নিজেদের জন্য জমা করেছিলে। নাও, এখন তোমাদের জমা করা সম্পদের স্বাদ গ্রহণ কর।
O you who have believed, indeed many of the scholars and the monks devour the wealth of people unjustly and avert [them] from the way of Allah. And those who hoard gold and silver and spend it not in the way of Allah - give them tidings of a painful punishment. The Day when it will be heated in the fire of Hell and seared therewith will be their foreheads, their flanks, and their backs, [it will be said], "This is what you hoarded for yourselves, so taste what you used to hoard."

Surah 9 | At-Tawba | আত-তাওবা | Verse: 103

(হে নাবী!) তুমি তাদের ধন-সম্পদ হতে সাদাকাহ গ্রহণ কর, যদ্বারা তুমি তাদেরকে পবিত্র করে দিবে, আর তাদের জন্য দু‘আ কর। নিঃসন্দেহে তোমার দু‘আ হচ্ছে তাদের জন্য শান্তির কারণ, আর আল্লাহ খুব শোনেন, খুব জানেন।
Take, [O, Muhammad], from their wealth a charity by which you purify them and cause them increase, and invoke [Allah 's blessings] upon them. Indeed, your invocations are reassurance for them. And Allah is Hearing and Knowing

Surah 13 | Ar-Ra'd | আর-রাদ | Verse: 22

যারা তাদের রবের সন্তুষ্টি লাভের উদ্দেশ্যে সবর করে, সালাত কায়েম করে এবং আমি তাদের যে রিয্ক প্রদান করেছি, তা থেকে গোপনে ও প্রকাশ্যে ব্যয় করে এবং ভাল কাজের মাধ্যমে মন্দকে দূর করে, তাদের জন্যই রয়েছে আখিরাতের শুভ পরিণাম
And those who are patient, seeking the countenance of their Lord, and establish prayer and spend from what We have provided for them secretly and publicly and prevent evil with good - those will have the good consequence of [this] home .

Surah 16 | An-Nahl | আন-নাহাল | Verse: 71

আল্লাহ জীবনোপকরণে তোমাদের কাউকে কারো উপর শ্রেষ্ঠত্ব দিয়েছেন, যাদেরকে শ্রেষ্ঠত্ব দেওয়া হয়েছে, তারা তাদের অধীনস্থ দাস-দাসীদেরকে নিজেদের জীবনোপকরণ হতে এমন কিছু দেয় না, যাতে তারা এ বিষয়ে তাদের সমান হয়ে যায়; তবে কি তারা আল্লাহর অনুগ্রহকে অস্বীকার করে?
And Allah has favored some of you over others in provision. But those who were favored would not hand over their provision to those whom their right hands possess so they would be equal to them therein. Then is it the favor of Allah they reject?

Surah 16 | An-Nahl | আন-নাহাল | Verse: 75

আল্লাহ উপমা দিচ্ছেন অন্যের অধিকারভুক্ত এক দাসের, যে কোন কিছুর উপর শক্তি রাখে না এবং এমন এক ব্যক্তির যাকে আমরা আমার পক্ষ থেকে উত্তম রিযক দান করেছি এবং সে তা থেকে গোপনে ও প্রকাশ্যে ব্যয় করে; তারা কি একে অন্যের সমান? সমস্ত প্রশংসা আল্লাহরই প্রাপ্য; বরং তাদের অধিকাংশই জানে না।
Allah presents an example: a slave [who is] owned and unable to do a thing and he to whom We have provided from Us good provision, so he spends from it secretly and publicly. Can they be equal? Praise to Allah! But most of them do not know.

Surah 16 | An-Nahl | আন-নাহাল | Verse: 90

নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ ইনসাফ, সদাচার ও নিকট আত্মীয়দের দান করার আদেশ দেন এবং তিনি আশ্লীলতা, মন্দ কাজ ও সীমালঙ্ঘন থেকে নিষেধ করেন। তিনি তোমাদেরকে উপদেশ দেন, যাতে তোমরা উপদেশ গ্রহণ কর।
Indeed, Allah orders justice and good conduct and giving to relatives and forbids immorality and bad conduct and oppression. He admonishes you that perhaps you will be reminded.

Surah 22 | Al-Hajj | আল-হজ্জ | Verse: 78

আর তোমরা আল্লাহর পথে জিহাদ কর যেভাবে জিহাদ করা উচিৎ। তিনি তোমাদেরকে মনোনীত করেছেন। দীনের ব্যাপারে তিনি তোমাদের উপর কোন কঠোরতা আরোপ করেননি। এটা তোমাদের পিতা ইবরাহীমের দীন। তিনিই তোমাদের নাম রেখেছেন ‘মুসলিম’ পূর্বে এবং এ কিতাবেও। যাতে রাসূল তোমাদের জন্য সাক্ষী হয় আর তোমরা মানুষের জন্য সাক্ষী হও। অতএব তোমরা সালাত কায়েম কর, যাকাত দাও এবং আল্লাহকে মজবুতভাবে ধর। তিনিই তোমাদের অভিভাবক। আর তিনি কতই না উত্তম অভিভাবক এবং কতই না উত্তম সাহায্যকারী!
And strive for Allah with the striving due to Him. He has chosen you and has not placed upon you in the religion any difficulty. [It is] the religion of your father, Abraham. Allah named you "Muslims" before [in former scriptures] and in this [revelation] that the Messenger may be a witness over you and you may be witnesses over the people. So establish prayer and give zakah and hold fast to Allah. He is your protector; and excellent is the protector, and excellent is the helper.

Surah 24 | An-Nur | আন-নূর | Verse: 22

আর তোমাদের মধ্যে যারা মর্যাদা ও প্রাচুর্যের অধিকারী, তারা যেন এমন কসম না করে যে, তারা নিকটাত্মীয়দের, মিসকীনদের ও আল্লাহর পথে হিজরতকারীদের কিছুই দেবে না। আর তারা যেন তাদের ক্ষমা করে এবং তাদের দোষত্রুটি উপেক্ষা করে। তোমরা কি পছন্দ কর না যে, আল্লাহ তোমাদের ক্ষমা করে দেন? আর আল্লাহ বড়ই ক্ষমাশীল, পরম দয়ালু।
And let not those of virtue among you and wealth swear not to give [aid] to their relatives and the needy and the emigrants for the cause of Allah, and let them pardon and overlook. Would you not like that Allah should forgive you? And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. .. Sahih International

Surah 31 | Luqman | লুকমান| Verse: 4 - 5

যারা সালাত কায়েম করে, যাকাত দেয়, তারাই আখিরাতে নিশ্চিত বিশ্বাসী। তারাই তাদের পালনকর্তার সঠিক পথে আছে আর তারাই সফলকাম। (দুনিয়া ও আখেরাতে)
Who establish prayer and give zakah, and they, of the Hereafter, are certain [in faith]. Those are on [right] guidance from their Lord, and it is those who are the successful.

Surah 35 | Fatir | ফাতির | Verse: 29 - 30

নিশ্চয় যারা আল্লাহর কিতাব তিলাওয়াত করে এবং সালাত কায়েম করে , আর আমরা তাদেরকে যে রিযিক দিয়েছি তা থেকে গোপনে ও প্রকাশ্যে ব্যয় করে , তারা এমন ব্যবসার আশা করতে পারে যাতে কক্ষনো লোকসান হবে না ।
এ জন্য যে , আল্লাহ তাদেরকে (তাদের কর্মের) পূর্ণ প্রতিদান দেবেন এবং তিনি নিজ অনুগ্রহে তাদেরকে আরও বেশী দেবেন । তিনি তো ক্ষমাশীল , গুণগ্রাহী ।

Indeed, those who recite the Book of Allah and establish prayer and spend [in His cause] out of what We have provided them, secretly and publicly, [can] expect a profit that will never perish
That He may give them in full their rewards and increase for them of His bounty. Indeed, He is Forgiving and Appreciative.

Surah 47 | Muhammad | মুহাম্মাদ | Verse: 36 - 38

দুনিয়ার জীবন তো শুধু খেল-তামাশা ও অর্থহীন কথাবার্তা। আর যদি তোমরা ঈমান আন এবং আল্লাহ-ভীরুতা অবলম্বন কর , তবে আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে পুরস্কার দেবেন এবং তিনি তোমাদের ধন-সম্পদ চান না ।
তোমাদের নিকট হতে তিনি তা চাইলে ও তার জন্যে তোমাদের উপর চাপ দিলে তোমরা তো কার্পণ্য করবে এবং তিনি তোমাদের বিদ্বেষভাব প্রকাশ করে দেবেন ।
দেখ , তোমরাই তো তারা যাদেরকে আল্লাহ্র পথে ব্যয় করতে বলা হচ্ছে অথচ তোমাদের কেউ কেউ কার্পণ্য করছে । তবে যে কার্পণ্য করেছে সে তো কার্পণ্য করছে নিজেরই প্রতি । আর আল্লাহ অভাবমুক্ত এবং তোমরা অভাবগ্ৰস্ত । আর যদি তোমরা বিমুখ হও , তবে তিনি তোমাদের ছাড়া অন্য সম্প্রদায়কে তোমাদের স্থলবর্তী করবেন ; তারপর তারা তোমাদের মত হবে না ।

[This] worldly life is only amusement and diversion. And if you believe and fear Allah, He will give you your rewards and not ask you for your properties.
If He should ask you for them and press you, you would withhold, and He would expose your unwillingness.
Here you are - those invited to spend in the cause of Allah - but among you are those who withhold [out of greed]. And whoever withholds only withholds [benefit] from himself; and Allah is the Free of need, while you are the needy. And if you turn away, He will replace you with another people; then they will not be the likes of you.

Surah 57 | Al-Hadid | আল-হাদীদ | Verse: 7

তোমরা আল্লাহ ও তাঁর রাসূলের প্রতি ঈমান আন এবং তিনি তোমাদেরকে যা কিছুর উত্তরাধিকারী করেছেন, তা থেকে ব্যয় কর। অতঃপর তোমাদের মধ্যে যারা ঈমান আনে ও (আল্লাহর পথে) ব্যয় করে তাদের জন্য রয়েছে বিরাট প্রতিফল।
Believe in Allah and His Messenger and spend out of that in which He has made you successors. For those who have believed among you and spent, there will be a great reward.

Surah 57 | Al-Hadid | আল-হাদীদ | Verse: 10

তোমাদের কী হলো যে, তোমরা আল্লাহর পথে ব্যয় করছ না ? অথচ আসমানসমূহ ও যমীনের উত্তরাধিকারতো আল্লাহরই? তোমাদের মধ্যে যারা মক্কা বিজয়ের পূর্বে ব্যয় করেছে এবং যুদ্ধ করেছে তারা সমান নয়। তারা মর্যাদায় তাদের চেয়ে শ্রেষ্ঠ, যারা পরে ব্যয় করেছে ও যুদ্ধ করেছে। তবে আল্লাহ প্রত্যেকের জন্যই কল্যাণের ওয়াদা করেছেন। আর তোমরা যা কর, সে সম্পর্কে আল্লাহ সবিশেষ অবগত।
And why do you not spend in the cause of Allah while to Allah belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth? Not equal among you are those who spent before the conquest [of Makkah] and fought [and those who did so after it]. Those are greater in degree than they who spent afterwards and fought. But to all Allah has promised the best [reward]. And Allah, with what you do, is Acquainted.

Surah 57 | Al-Hadid | আল-হাদীদ | Verse: 11

এমন কে আছে যে আল্লাহকে দেবে উত্তম ঋণ? তাহলে তিনি বহু গুণে এটাকে বৃদ্ধি করবেন তার জন্য। আর তার জন্য রয়েছে সম্মানজনক পুরস্কার।
Who is it that would loan Allah a goodly loan so He will multiply it for him and he will have a noble reward?

Surah 57 | Al-Hadid | আল-হাদীদ | Verse: 18

নিশ্চয় দানশীল পুরুষ ও দানশীল নারী এবং যারা আল্লাহকে উত্তম করয দেয়, তাদের জন্য বহুগুণ বাড়িয়ে দেয়া হবে এবং তাদের জন্য রয়েছে সম্মানজনক প্রতিদান।
Indeed, the men who practice charity and the women who practice charity and [they who] have loaned Allah a goodly loan - it will be multiplied for them, and they will have a noble reward... Sahih International

Surah 63 | Al-Munafiqun | আল-মুনাফিকূন | Verse: 10 - 11

আর আমরা তোমাদেরকে যে রিযিক দিয়েছি তোমরা তা থেকে ব্যয় করবে তোমাদের কারও মৃত্যু আসার আগে । (অন্যথায় মৃত্যু আসলে সে বলবে ,) হে আমার রব ! আমাকে আরো কিছু কালের জন্য অবকাশ দিলে আমি সাদাকাহ দিতাম ও সৎকর্মপরায়ণদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হতাম !
আর আল্লাহ কখনো কোন প্রাণকেই অবকাশ দেবেন না , যখন তার নির্ধারিত সময় এসে যাবে । আর তোমরা যা কর সে সম্পর্কে আল্লাহ সম্যক অবহিত ।

And spend [in the way of Allah] from what We have provided you before death approaches one of you and he says , "My Lord , if only You would delay me for a brief term so I would give charity and be among the righteous ."
But never will Allah delay a soul when its time has come . And Allah is Acquainted with what you do .

Surah 64 | At-Taghabun | আত-তাগাবুন | Verse: 16

কাজেই তোমরা আল্লাহকে তোমাদের সাধ্যমত ভয় কর , তোমরা (তাঁর বাণী) শুন , তোমরা (তাঁর) আনুগত্য কর এবং (তাঁর পথে) ব্যয় কর , এটা তোমাদের নিজেদেরই জন্য কল্যাণকর । যারা অন্তরের সংকীর্ণতা থেকে রক্ষা পেল , তারাই সফলকাম ।

So fear Allah as much as you are able and listen and obey and spend [in the way of Allah] ; it is better for your selves . And whoever is protected from the stinginess of his soul - it is those who will be the successful .

Surah 64 | At-Taghabun | আত-তাগাবুন | Verse: 17

যদি তোমরা আল্লাহকে উত্তম ঋণ দান কর তিনি তোমাদের জন্য তা বহু গুণ বৃদ্ধি করবেন এবং তিনি তোমাদেরকে ক্ষমা করবেন । আল্লাহ গুণগ্রাহী , পরম ধৈর্যশীল ।

If you loan Allah a goodly loan , He will multiply it for you and forgive you . And Allah is Most Appreciative and Forbearing .

Surah 73 | Al-Muzzammil | আল-মুযযাম্মিল | Verse: 20

নিশ্চয় তোমার রব জানেন যে, তুমি রাতের দুই তৃতীয়াংশের কিছু কম, অথবা অর্ধরাত অথবা রাতের এক তৃতীয়াংশ সালাতে দাঁড়িয়ে থাক এবং তোমার সাথে যারা আছে তাদের মধ্য থেকে একটি দলও। আর আল্লাহ রাত ও দিন নিরূপণ করেন। তিনি জানেন যে, তোমরা তা করতে সক্ষম হবে না। তাই তিনি তোমাদেরকে ক্ষমা করলেন। অতএব তোমরা কুরআন থেকে যতটুকু সহজ ততটুকু পড়। তিনি জানেন তোমাদের মধ্যে কেউ কেউ অসুস্থ হয়ে পড়বে। আর কেউ কেউ আল্লাহর অনুগ্রহ সন্ধানে পৃথিবীতে ভ্রমণ করবে, আর কেউ কেউ আল্লাহর পথে লড়াই করবে। অতএব তোমরা কুরআন থেকে যতটুকু সহজ ততটুকু পড়। আর সালাত কায়েম কর, যাকাত দাও এবং আল্লাহকে উত্তম ঋণ দাও। আর তোমরা নিজদের জন্য মঙ্গলজনক যা কিছু অগ্রে পাঠাবে তোমরা তা আল্লাহর কাছে পাবে প্রতিদান হিসেবে উৎকৃষ্টতর ও মহত্তর রূপে। আর তোমরা আল্লাহর কাছে ক্ষমা চাও। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ অতীব ক্ষমাশীল, পরম দয়ালু
Indeed, your Lord knows, [O Muhammad], that you stand [in prayer] almost two thirds of the night or half of it or a third of it, and [so do] a group of those with you. And Allah determines [the extent of] the night and the day. He has known that you [Muslims] will not be able to do it and has turned to you in forgiveness, so recite what is easy [for you] of the Qur'an. He has known that there will be among you those who are ill and others traveling throughout the land seeking [something] of the bounty of Allah and others fighting for the cause of Allah. So recite what is easy from it and establish prayer and give zakah and loan Allah a goodly loan. And whatever good you put forward for yourselves - you will find it with Allah. It is better and greater in reward. And seek forgiveness of Allah. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

Surah 74 | Al-Muddathir | আল-মুদ্দাস সির | Verse: 1 - 7

হে বস্ত্ৰাচ্ছাদিত !
উঠুন , অতঃপর সতর্ক করুন ,
আর আপনার রবের শ্রেষ্ঠত্ব ঘোষণা করুন ।
আর আপনার পরিচ্ছদ পবিত্র করুন ,
আর অপবিত্রতা থেকে দূরে থাকুন ।
আর অধিক পাওয়ার প্রত্যাশায় দান করবেন না ।
আর আপনার রবের জন্যেই ধৈর্য ধারণ করুন ।

O you who covers himself [with a garment],
Arise and warn
And your Lord glorify
And your clothing purify
And uncleanliness avoid
And do not confer favor to acquire more
But for your Lord be patient.

Surah 74 | Al-Muddathir | আল-মুদ্দাস সির | Verse: 8 - 56

অতঃপর যখন শিংগায় ফুঁক দেয়া হবে ,
সেদিন হবে এক সংকটের দিন -
যা অবিশ্বাসীদের (কাফিরদের) জন্য সহজ নয় ।
ছেড়ে দিন আমাকে (তার সঙ্গে বুঝাপড়া করার জন্য ,এখানে অলীদ ইবনে মুগীরার প্রতি ইঙ্গিত করা হয়েছে । এই লোকটি কুফরী ও অবাধ্যতায় সীমা অতিক্রম করেছিল ।) এবং তাকে যাকে আমি একাই সৃষ্টি করেছি ।
আর আমি তাকে দিয়েছি বিপুল ধন-সম্পদ ।
এবং নিত্য সঙ্গী পুত্রগণ ।
আর তাকে দিয়েছি স্বাচ্ছন্দ জীবনের প্রচুর উপকরণ ।
এর পরও সে কামনা করে যে, আমি তাকে আরও বেশী দেই !
কখনো নয় , সে তো আমাদের নিদর্শনসমূহের বিরুদ্ধাচারী ।
অচিরেই আমি তাকে ক্রমবর্ধমান শাস্তি দ্বারা আচ্ছন্ন করব ।
সে তো চিন্তা করল এবং সিদ্ধান্ত গ্ৰহণ করল ।
অতঃপর সে ধ্বংস হোক! কীভাবে সে এই সিদ্ধান্ত করল !
আবার ধ্বংস হোক সে! কেমন করে সে এই সিদ্ধান্তে উপনীত হল !
তারপর সে তাকাল ।
তারপর সে ভ্ৰকুঞ্চিত করল ও মুখ বিকৃত করল ।
তারপর সে পিছন ফিরল এবং অহংকার করল ।
অতঃপর সে বলল , এ তো যাদু ছাড়া আর কিছু নয় , এতো পূর্বে থেকেই চলে আসছে ।
এটা তো মানুষেরই কথা ।
শীঘ্রই আমি তাকে নিক্ষেপ করব সাক্বার (জাহান্নামের আগুনে ) ।
আর আপনাকে কিসে জানাবে ‘ সাকার ’ কী ?
এটা কাউকে জীবিতও রাখবে না, আর মৃত অবস্থায়ও ছেড়ে দেবে না ।
এটা তো চামড়াকে দগ্ধ করে কালো করে দেবে ।
‘সাকার’-এর তত্ত্বাবধানে রয়েছে ঊনিশজন প্রহরী ।
আর আমরা তো জাহান্নামের প্রহরী কেবল ফেরেশতাদেরকেই করেছি ; কাফিরদের পরীক্ষাস্বরূপই আমরা তাদের এ সংখ্যা উল্লেখ করেছি যাতে কিতাবপ্রাপ্তদের দৃঢ় প্রত্যয় জন্মে , আর যারা ঈমান এনেছে তাদের ঈমান বেড়ে যায় । আর কিতাবপ্রাপ্তারা ও মুমিনরা সন্দেহ পোষণ না করে । আর যেন এর ফলে যাদের অন্তরে ব্যাধি আছে তারা ও কাফিররা বলে, আল্লাহ্ এ (সংখ্যার) উপমা (উল্লেখ করা) দ্বারা কি ইচ্ছা করেছেন ? এভাবে আল্লাহ যাকে ইচ্ছে পথভ্রষ্ট করেন এবং যাকে ইচ্ছে হেদায়াত করেন। আর আপনার রবের বাহিনী সম্পর্কে তিনি ছাড়া কেউ জানে না । আর জাহান্নামের এ বর্ণনা তো মানুষের জন্য এক উপদেশ মাত্ৰ ।
কখনই না । চন্দ্রের শপথ ।
শপথ রাতের , যখন তার অবসান ঘটে ।
শপথ প্রভাতকালের , যখন তা আলোকোজ্জ্বল হয় ।
নিশ্চয় জাহান্নাম ভয়াবহ বিপদসমূহের অন্যতম ,
মানুষের জন্য সতর্ককারীস্বরূপ -
তোমাদের মধ্যে যে অগ্রসর হতে চায় কিংবা যে পিছিয়ে পড়তে চায় তার জন্য ।
প্রত্যেক ব্যক্তি নিজ কৃতকর্মের দায়ে আবদ্ধ ,
তবে ডান দিকের লোকেরা নয় ,
বাগ - বাগিচার মধ্যে তারা একে অপরকে জিজ্ঞেস করবে —
অপরাধীদের সম্পর্কে ,
তোমাদেরকে কিসে সাক্বার (জাহান্নাম)এ নিক্ষেপ করেছে ?
তারা বলবে, আমরা সালাত আদায়কারীদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত ছিলাম না ,
আর আমরা অভাবগ্রস্তদেরকে অন্নদান করতাম না ।
এবং আমরা অনর্থক আলাপকারীদের সাথে বেহুদা আলাপে মগ্ন থাকতাম ।
আর আমরা প্রতিদান দিবসকে অস্বীকার করতাম ।
পরিশেষে আমাদের নিকট মৃত্যু আগমন করল ।
ফলে সুপারিশকারীদের সুপারিশ তাদের কোন কাজে আসবে না ।
তাদের কী হয়েছে যে , তারা উপদেশ (কুরআন) হতে মুখ ফিরিয়ে নেয় ?
তারা যেন ভীত-সন্ত্রস্ত হয়ে পলায়নরত একপাল গাধা ,
যারা সিংহের ভয়ে পলায়ন করেছে ।
বস্তুতঃ তাদের প্রত্যেকেই চায়, তাকে (আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকে) খোলা চিঠি দেয়া হোক (এই মর্মে যে, তোমরা এই নবীকে মেনে নাও)।
না, এটা হবার নয় । বরং তারা তো পরকালের ভয় পোষণ করে না ।
না, তা হতে পারে না, এটাতো (অর্থাৎ কুরআন সকলের জন্য) উপদেশবাণী ।
অতএব যার ইচ্ছে সে তা থেকে উপদেশ গ্রহণ করুক ।
আল্লাহর ইচ্ছা ছাড়া কেউ উপদেশ গ্রহণ করতে পারে না । একমাত্র তিনিই ভয়ের যোগ্য এবং তিনিই ক্ষমা করার অধিকারী ।

And when the trumpet is blown,
That Day will be a difficult day
For the disbelievers - not easy.
Leave Me with the one I created alone
And to whom I granted extensive wealth
And children present [with him]
And spread [everything] before him, easing [his life].
Then he desires that I should add more.
No! Indeed, he has been toward Our verses obstinate.
I will cover him with arduous torment.
Indeed, he thought and deliberated.
So may he be destroyed [for] how he deliberated.
Then may he be destroyed [for] how he deliberated.
Then he considered [again];
Then he frowned and scowled;
Then he turned back and was arrogant
And said, "This is not but magic imitated [from others].
This is not but the word of a human being."
I will drive him into Saqar.
And what can make you know what is Saqar?
It lets nothing remain and leaves nothing [unburned],
Blackening the skins.
Over it are nineteen [angels].
And We have not made the keepers of the Fire except angels. And We have not made their number except as a trial for those who disbelieve - that those who were given the Scripture will be convinced and those who have believed will increase in faith and those who were given the Scripture and the believers will not doubt and that those in whose hearts is hypocrisy and the disbelievers will say, "What does Allah intend by this as an example?" Thus does Allah leave astray whom He wills and guides whom He wills. And none knows the soldiers of your Lord except Him. And mention of the Fire is not but a reminder to humanity.
No! By the moon
And [by] the night when it departs
And [by] the morning when it brightens,
Indeed, the Fire is of the greatest [afflictions]
As a warning to humanity -
To whoever wills among you to proceed or stay behind.
Every soul, for what it has earned, will be retained
Except the companions of the right,
[Who will be] in gardens, questioning each other
About the criminals,
[And asking them], "What put you into Saqar?"
They will say, "We were not of those who prayed,
Nor did we used to feed the poor.
And we used to enter into vain discourse with those who engaged [in it],
And we used to deny the Day of Recompense
Until there came to us the certainty."
So there will not benefit them the intercession of [any] intercessors.
Then what is [the matter] with them that they are, from the reminder, turning away
As if they were alarmed donkeys
Fleeing from a lion?
Rather, every person among them desires that he would be given scriptures spread about.
No! But they do not fear the Hereafter.
No! Indeed, the Qur'an is a reminder
Then whoever wills will remember it.
And they will not remember except that Allah wills. He is worthy of fear and adequate for [granting] forgiveness.

Surah 76 | Al-Insan | আল-ইনসান | Verse: 5 - 10

নিশ্চয় সৎকর্মশীলরা পান করবে এমন পানপাত্র থেকে যার মিশ্রণ হবে কাফূর ।
এমন একটি প্রস্রবণের যা হতে আল্লাহর বান্দাগণ পান করবে , তারা এই প্রস্রবণকে যেখানে ইচ্ছা প্রবাহিত করতে পারবে ।
তারা মানত পূর্ণ করে এবং সে দিনের ভয় করে , যে দিনের অকল্যাণ হবে ব্যাপক ।
তারা খাদ্যের প্রতি আসক্তি থাকা সত্ত্বেও মিসকীন , ইয়াতীম ও বন্দীকে খাদ্য দান করে ।
এবং বলে , শুধু আল্লাহর সস্তুষ্টি লাভের উদ্দেশ্যে আমরা তোমাদেরকে খাবার দান করি , আমরা তোমাদের কাছ থেকে প্রতিদান চাই না , কৃতজ্ঞতাও নয় ।
নিশ্চয় আমরা আশংকা করি আমাদের রবের কাছ থেকে এক ভীতিপ্ৰদ ভয়ংকর দিনের ।

Indeed, the righteous will drink from a cup [of wine] whose mixture is of Kafur,
A spring of which the [righteous] servants of Allah will drink; they will make it gush forth in force [and abundance].
They [are those who] fulfill [their] vows and fear a Day whose evil will be widespread.
And they give food in spite of love for it to the needy, the orphan, and the captive,
[Saying], "We feed you only for the countenance of Allah. We wish not from you reward or gratitude.
Indeed, We fear from our Lord a Day austere and distressful."

Surah 92 | Al-Lail | আল-লাইল | Verse: 1 - 21

শপথ রাতের, যখন সে আচ্ছন্ন করে, [ আলোকে ঢেকে দেয় ]
শপথ দিনের, যখন তা উদ্ভাসিত হয় । [ রাতের অন্ধকার দূরীভূত হয় ]
আর শপথ তাঁর যিনি সৃষ্টি করেছেন পুরুষ ও নারী,
অবশ্যই তোমাদের কর্মপ্রচেষ্টা বিভিন্নমুখী।
কাজেই যে কেউ দান করে ও আল্লাহকে ভয় করে,
এবং যা উত্তম তা সত্য বলে গ্ৰহণ করে,
আমরা তার জন্য সুগম করে দেব সহজ পথ।
পক্ষান্তরে যে কার্পণ্য করে ও নিজেকে স্বয়ংসম্পূর্ণ মনে করে।
আর সৎ বিষয়কে মিথ্যা জ্ঞান করে,
অচিরেই তার জন্য আমরা সুগম করে দেব (জাহান্নামের) কঠোর পরিণামের পথ ।
আর তার ধন-সম্পদ কোনই কাজে আসবে না , যখন সে ধ্বংস হবে ।
নিশ্চয় আমাদের কাজ শুধু পথনির্দেশ করা ,
আর অবশ্যই আমার অধিকারে পরকাল ও ইহকাল ।
অতএব আমি তোমাদের সতর্ক করে দিয়েছি লেলিহান আগুন সম্পর্কে,
তাতে প্রবেশ করবে সে-ই, যে নিতান্ত হতভাগ্য,
যে মিথ্যারোপ করে ও মুখ ফিরিয়ে নেয়।
আর তা থেকে দূরে রাখা হবে পরম মুত্তাকীকে , [ জাহান্নাম থেকে ]
যে স্বীয় সম্পদ দান করে আত্মশুদ্ধির জন্য ,
এবং তার প্রতি কারো কোন অনুগ্রহের প্রতিদানে নয়।
কেবল তার মহান রবের সন্তুষ্টির প্রত্যাশায়।
আর অচিরেই সে সন্তুষ্ট হবে ।

By the night when it covers
And [by] the day when it appears
And [by] He who created the male and female,
Indeed, your efforts are diverse .
As for he who gives and fears Allah
And believes in the best [reward],
We will ease him toward ease.
But as for he who withholds and considers himself free of need
And denies the best [reward],
We will ease him toward difficulty.
And what will his wealth avail him when he falls?
Indeed, [incumbent] upon Us is guidance.
And indeed, to Us belongs the Hereafter and the first [life].
So I have warned you of a Fire which is blazing.
None will [enter to] burn therein except the most wretched one.
Who had denied and turned away.
But the righteous one will avoid it
[He] who gives [from] his wealth to purify himself
And not [giving] for anyone who has [done him] a favor to be rewarded
But only seeking the countenance of his Lord, Most High.
And he is going to be satisfied.
