যখন একজন মানুষ মারা যায়, তার সব কাজ শেষ হয়ে যায় , তিনটি ব্যতিক্রম ছাড়া: সদকা জারিয়া (চলমান দান) , এমন জ্ঞান যা থেকে উপকার পাওয়া যায়, এবং একটি সৎ সন্তান যে তার জন্য দোয়া করে । | মুহাম্মদ (সাঃ) ; হাদিস - সহিহ মুসলিম | When a person dies, his works end, except for three: ongoing charity, knowledge that is benefited from, and a righteous child who prays for him. | Prophet Mohammed (PBUH); Hadith - Sahih Muslim |

যে ব্যক্তি ভাল কাজের জন্য সুপারিশ করবে, তার জন্য তাতে (সাওয়াবের) অংশ আছে এবং যে মন্দ কাজের জন্য সুপারিশ করবে, তার জন্য তাতে অংশ আছে । আর আল্লাহ সব কিছুর উপর নজর রাখেন । | সূরাঃ ৪ , আন-নিসা , আয়াতঃ : ৮৫ | Whoever intercedes for a good cause will have a reward therefrom; and whoever intercedes for an evil cause will have a burden therefrom. And ever is Allah, over all things, a Keeper. | Surah 4 , An-Nisa , Verse: 85 |

Surah 22 | Al-Hajj | আল-হজ্জ | Verse: 60
-
এতো হল তাদের অবস্থা, আর যে ব্যক্তি আঘাতপ্রাপ্ত হলে সমপরিমাণ প্রতিশোধ গ্রহণ করে, অতঃপর আবার সে নিপীড়িত হয়, আল্লাহ তাকে অবশ্য অবশ্যই সাহায্য করবেন, আল্লাহ অবশ্যই মাফকারী ক্ষমাশীল।

That [is so]. And whoever responds [to injustice] with the equivalent of that with which he was harmed and then is tyrannized - Allah will surely aid him. Indeed, Allah is Pardoning and Forgiving.
Surah 17 | Al-Isra | আল-ইসরা (বনী-ইসরাঈল) | Verse: 33
- আল্লাহ যার হত্যা নিষিদ্ধ করেছেন যথার্থ কারণ ছাড়া তাকে হত্যা করো না; কেউ অ ন্যায়ভাবে নিহত হলে তার উত্তরাধিকারীকে তো আমি প্রতিশোধ গ্রহণের অধিকার দিয়েছি (কিসাস দাবী করার বা ক্ষমা করে দেয়ার) । সুতরাং হত্যার ব্যাপারে সে যেন বাড়াবাড়ি না করে; নিশ্চয় সে সাহায্যপ্রাপ্ত।
- And do not kill the soul which Allah has forbidden, except by right. And whoever is killed unjustly - We have given his heir authority, but let him not exceed limits in [the matter of] taking life. Indeed, he has been supported [by the law].
Surah 42 | Ash-Shura | আশ-শূরা | Verse: 36 - 43
- বস্তুতঃ তোমাদেরকে যা কিছু দেওয়া হয়েছে , তা পার্থিব জীবনের ভোগ ; কিন্তু আল্লাহর নিকট যা আছে , তা উত্তম ও চিরস্থায়ী তাদের জন্য , যারা বিশ্বাস করে ও তাদের প্রতিপালকের ওপর নির্ভর করে ।
- আর যারা কবীরা গোনাহ [গুরুতর পাপ] ও অশ্লীল কাজ থেকে বেঁচে থাকে এবং যখন রাগান্বিত হয় তখন তারা ক্ষমা করে দেয় ।
- আর যারা তাদের রবের ডাকে সাড়া দেয় , সালাত কায়েম করে এবং পারস্পরিক পরামর্শের ভিত্তিতে নিজেদের কার্যাদি পরিচালনা করে । আর আমি তাদেরকে যে রিযক দিয়েছি তাত্থেকে ব্যয় করে ।
- এবং যারা অত্যাচারিত হলে প্রতিশোধ গ্রহণ করে ।
- মন্দের প্রতিফল অনুরূপ মন্দ । আর যে ক্ষমা করে দেয় ও আপোস-নিস্পত্তি করে , তার পুরস্কার আল্লাহর নিকট আছে , নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ সীমালংঘনকারীদেরকে পছন্দ করেন না ।
- তবে অত্যাচারিত হওয়ার পর যারা প্রতিশোধ গ্রহণ করে , তাদের বিরুদ্ধে কোন ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণ করা হবে না ।
- কেবল তাদের বিরুদ্ধেই ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণ করা হবে , যারা মানুষের উপর যুলম করে এবং যমীনে অন্যায়ভাবে সীমালঙ্ঘন করে বেড়ায়। তাদের জন্য রয়েছে যন্ত্রণাদায়ক আযাব ।
- আর অবশ্যই যে ধৈর্য ধারণ করে । এবং ক্ষমা করে দেয় , নিশ্চয় তা দৃঢ় সংকল্পেরই কাজ ।
- So whatever thing you have been given - it is but [for] enjoyment of the worldly life. But what is with Allah is better and more lasting for those who have believed and upon their Lord rely
- And those who avoid the major sins and immoralities, and when they are angry, they forgive,
- And those who have responded to their lord and established prayer and whose affair is [determined by] consultation among themselves, and from what We have provided them, they spend.
- And those who, when tyranny strikes them, they defend themselves,
- And the retribution for an evil act is an evil one like it, but whoever pardons and makes reconciliation - his reward is [due] from Allah. Indeed, He does not like wrongdoers.
- And whoever avenges himself after having been wronged - those have not upon them any cause [for blame].
- The cause is only against the ones who wrong the people and tyrannize upon the earth without right. Those will have a painful punishment.
- And whoever is patient and forgives - indeed, that is of the matters [requiring] determination.
