  • যখন একজন মানুষ মারা যায়, তার সব কাজ শেষ হয়ে যায় , তিনটি ব্যতিক্রম ছাড়া: সদকা জারিয়া (চলমান দান) , এমন জ্ঞান যা থেকে উপকার পাওয়া যায়, এবং একটি সৎ সন্তান যে তার জন্য দোয়া করে । | মুহাম্মদ (সাঃ) ; হাদিস - সহিহ মুসলিম | When a person dies, his works end, except for three: ongoing charity, knowledge that is benefited from, and a righteous child who prays for him. | Prophet Mohammed (PBUH); Hadith - Sahih Muslim |

  • যে ব্যক্তি ভাল কাজের জন্য সুপারিশ করবে, তার জন্য তাতে (সাওয়াবের) অংশ আছে এবং যে মন্দ কাজের জন্য সুপারিশ করবে, তার জন্য তাতে অংশ আছে । আর আল্লাহ সব কিছুর উপর নজর রাখেন । | সূরাঃ ৪ , আন-নিসা , আয়াতঃ : ৮৫ | Whoever intercedes for a good cause will have a reward therefrom; and whoever intercedes for an evil cause will have a burden therefrom. And ever is Allah, over all things, a Keeper. | Surah 4 , An-Nisa , Verse: 85 |

কুরআন বিভিন্ন দিক থেকে জীবনের ক্ষেত্রে যা হালাল (অনুমোদিত) এবং হারাম (নিষিদ্ধ) তা সম্পর্কে নির্দেশনা প্রদান করে, যার মধ্যে খাদ্য, আচরণ এবং কাজের বিষয়গুলি অন্তর্ভুক্ত রয়েছে।

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
আল্লাহর নামে, যিনি পরম করুণাময়, পরম দয়ালু

Surah 2 | Al-Baqara | আল-বাকারা | Verse: 168

  • হে মানুষ, যমীনে যা রয়েছে, তা থেকে হালাল পবিত্র বস্তু আহার কর এবং শয়তানের পদাঙ্ক অনুসরণ করো না। নিশ্চয় সে তোমাদের জন্য সুস্পষ্ট শত্রু।

  • O mankind, eat from whatever is on earth [that is] lawful and good and do not follow the footsteps of Satan. Indeed, he is to you a clear enemy.

Surah 2 | Al-Baqara | আল-বাকারা | Verse: 172

  • হে ঈমানদারগণ! যদি তোমরা যথার্থই আল্লাহ‌র ইবাদাতকারী হয়ে থাকো, তাহলে যে সমস্ত পাক-পবিত্র জিনিস আমি তোমাদের দিয়েছি সেগুলো নিশ্চিন্তে খাও এবং আল্লাহ‌র প্রতি কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করো।

  • O you who have believed, eat from the good things which We have provided for you and be grateful to Allah if it is [indeed] Him that you worship.

Surah 2 | Al-Baqara | আল-বাকারা | Verse: 173

  • আল্লাহ্‌র পক্ষ থেকে তোমাদের ওপর যদি কোন নিষেধাজ্ঞা থেকে থাকে তাহলে তা হচ্ছে এই যে, মৃতদেহ খেয়ো না, রক্ত ও শূকরের গোশত থেকে দূরে থাকো। আর এমন কোন জিনিস খেয়ো না যার ওপর আল্লাহ‌ ছাড়া আর কারোর নাম নেয়া হয়েছে।তবে যে ব্যক্তি অক্ষমতার মধ্যে অবস্থান করে এবং এ অবস্থায় আইন ভঙ্গ করার কোন প্রেরণা ছাড়াই বা প্রয়োজনের সীমা না পেরিয়ে এর মধ্য থেকে কোনটা খায়, সেজন্য তার কোন গোনাহ হবে না। আল্লাহ‌ ক্ষমাশীল ও করুণাময়।

  • He has only forbidden to you dead animals, blood, the flesh of swine, and that which has been dedicated to other than Allah. But whoever is forced [by necessity], neither desiring [it] nor transgressing [its limit], there is no sin upon him. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

Surah 2 | Al-Baqara | আল-বাকারা | Verse: 274-276

  • যারা তাদের সম্পদ ব্যয় করে রাতে ও দিনে, গোপনে ও প্রকাশ্যে। অতএব, তাদের জন্যই রয়েছে তাদের রবের নিকট তাদের প্রতিদান। আর তাদের কোন ভয় নেই এবং তারা চিন্তিতও হবে না। কিন্তু যারা সুদ খায় তাদের অবস্থা হয় ঠিক সেই লোকটির মতো যাকে শয়তান স্পর্শ করে পাগল করে দিয়েছে। তাদের এই অবস্থায় উপনীত হবার কারণ হচ্ছে এই যে, তারা বলেঃ “ব্যবসা তো সুদেরই মতো।” অথচ আল্লাহ‌ ব্যবসাকে হালাল করে দিয়েছেন এবং সুদকে করেছেন হারাম। কাজেই যে ব্যক্তির কাছে তার রবের পক্ষ থেকে এই নসীহত পৌঁছে যায় এবং ভবিষ্যতে সুদখোরী থেকে সে বিরত হয়, সে ক্ষেত্রে যা কিছু সে খেয়েছে তাতো খেয়ে ফেলেছেই এবং এ ব্যাপারটি আল্লাহর কাছে সোপর্দ হয়ে গেছে। আর এই নির্দেশের পরও যে ব্যক্তি আবার এই কাজ করে, সে জাহান্নামের অধিবাসী। সেখানে সে থাকবে চিরকাল। আল্লাহ্‌ সুদকে নিশ্চিহ্ন করেন এবং দানকে বর্ধিত করেন। আর আল্লাহ কোন অধিক কুফরকারী, পাপীকে ভালবাসেন না।.

  • Those who spend their wealth [in Allah 's way] by night and by day, secretly and publicly - they will have their reward with their Lord. And no fear will there be concerning them, nor will they grieve. Those who consume interest cannot stand [on the Day of Resurrection] except as one stands who is being beaten by Satan into insanity. That is because they say, "Trade is [just] like interest." But Allah has permitted trade and has forbidden interest. So whoever has received an admonition from his Lord and desists may have what is past, and his affair rests with Allah. But whoever returns to [dealing in interest or usury] - those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide eternally therein. Allah destroys interest and gives increase for charities. And Allah does not like every sinning disbeliever.

Surah 5 | Al-Ma'ida | আল-মায়েদা | Verse: 3 - 4

  • তোমাদের জন্য হারাম করা হয়েছে মৃত জন্তু, রক্ত, শুকরের মাংস, আল্লাহ ছাড়া অন্য কারো নামে উৎসর্গকৃত জবাইকৃত জন্তু, শ্বাসরুদ্ধ হয়ে মারা যাওয়া, আঘাতে মারা যাওয়া, উঁচু থেকে পড়ে মারা যাওয়া, শিংয়ের আঘাতে মারা যাওয়া, যেসব জন্তু হিংস্র জন্তু খেয়ে ফেলেছে (যদি না তোমরা জীবিত অবস্থায় জবাই করতে পারো), যেসব জন্তু মূর্তির সামনে জবাই করা হয়েছে এবং ভাগ্য নির্ধারণের জন্য তীর ছোঁড়া — এসবও হারাম। এগুলো পাপের কাজ। আজ কাফিররা তোমাদের দীন থেকে নিরাশ হয়ে পড়েছে, অতএব তাদেরকে ভয় করো না, আমাকে ভয় করো। আজ আমি তোমাদের জন্য তোমাদের দীনকে পূর্ণাঙ্গ করলাম, তোমাদের প্রতি আমার অনুগ্রহ সম্পূর্ণ করলাম এবং ইসলামকে তোমাদের জন্য দীন হিসেবে পছন্দ করলাম । কিন্তু যে ব্যক্তি ক্ষুধার তাড়নায় বাধ্য হয়ে (হারাম কিছু খায়), আর সে গোনাহ করার ইচ্ছা পোষণ করে না — নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ পরম ক্ষমাশীল, পরম দয়ালু।
  • তারা আপনাকে জিজ্ঞাসা করে (হে মুহাম্মদ!), তাদের জন্য কী হালাল করা হয়েছে। বলুন, “তোমাদের জন্য হালাল করা হয়েছে সব ভালো ও পবিত্র বস্তু এবং শিকারী পশুদের মধ্যে যেগুলিকে তোমরা প্রশিক্ষণ দিয়েছ — যেমন আল্লাহ তোমাদের শিক্ষা দিয়েছেন — তাদের দ্বারা শিকারকৃত পশু তোমরা খেতে পারো, যদি তারা তোমাদের জন্য ধরে আনে। কিন্তু এ সময় আল্লাহর নাম স্মরণ করো এবং আল্লাহকে ভয় করো।” নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ হিসাব গ্রহণে দ্রুত।
  • Prohibited to you are dead animals, blood, the flesh of swine, and that which has been dedicated to other than Allah, and [those animals] killed by strangling or by a violent blow or by a head-long fall or by the goring of horns, and those from which a wild animal has eaten, except what you [are able to] slaughter [before its death], and those which are sacrificed on stone altars, and [prohibited is] that you seek decision through divining arrows. That is grave disobedience. This day those who disbelieve have despaired of [defeating] your religion; so fear them not, but fear Me. This day I have perfected for you your religion and completed My favor upon you and have approved for you Islam as religion. But whoever is forced by severe hunger with no inclination to sin - then indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
  • They ask you, [O Muhammad], what has been made lawful for them. Say, "Lawful for you are [all] good foods and [game caught by] what you have trained of hunting animals which you train as Allah has taught you. So eat of what they catch for you, and mention the name of Allah upon it, and fear Allah." Indeed, Allah is swift in account.

Surah 5 | Al-Ma'ida | আল-মায়েদা | Verse: 96

  • তোমাদের জন্য হালাল করা হয়েছে সমুদ্রের শিকার ও তার খাদ্য; তোমাদের ও মুসাফিরদের ভোগের জন্য। আর স্থলের শিকার তোমাদের উপর হারাম করা হয়েছে যতক্ষণ তোমরা ইহরাম অবস্থায় থাক। আর তোমরা আল্লাহর তাকওয়া অবলম্বন কর, যার দিকে তোমাদেরকে একত্র করা হবে।
  • Lawful to you is game from the sea and its food as provision for you and the travelers, but forbidden to you is game from the land as long as you are in the state of ihram. And fear Allah to whom you will be gathered.

Surah 5 | Al-Ma'ida | আল-মায়েদা | Verse: 90-91

  • হে মুমিনগণ! মদ, জুয়া, মূর্তিপূজার বেদী ও ভাগ্য নির্ণয় করার শর তো কেবল ঘৃণার বস্তু, শয়তানের কাজ। কাজেই তোমরা সেগুলো বর্জন কর-যাতে তোমরা সফলকাম হতে পার। শয়তান তো চায়, মদ ও জুয়া দ্বারা তোমাদের মধ্যে শক্রতা ও বিদ্বেষ ঘটাতে এবং তোমাদেরকে আল্লাহর স্মরণে ও সালাতে বাধা দিতে। তবে কি তোমরা বিরত হবে না?

  • O you who have believed, indeed, intoxicants, gambling, [sacrificing on] stone alters [to other than Allah], and divining arrows are but defilement from the work of Satan, so avoid it that you may be successful. Satan only wants to cause between you animosity and hatred through intoxicants and gambling and to avert you from the remembrance of Allah and from prayer. So will you not desist?

Surah 6 | Al-An'am | আল-আন'আম | Verse: 118 - 119

  • সুতরাং তোমরা আহার কর তা থেকে, যার উপর আল্লাহর নাম নেয়া হয়েছে, যদি তোমরা তাঁর আয়াতসমূহের ব্যাপারে বিশ্বাসী হও। আর তোমাদের কী হল যে তোমরা তা থেকে আহার করো না, যার উপর আল্লাহর নাম উচ্চারণ করা হয়েছে! অথচ তিনি তোমাদের জন্য বিস্তারিত বর্ণনা করেছেন, যা তোমাদের উপর হারাম করেছেন। তবে যার প্রতি তোমরা বাধ্য হয়েছ এবং নিশ্চয় অনেকে না জেনে তাদের খেয়াল-খুশি দ্বারা পথভ্রষ্ট করে। নিশ্চয় তোমার রব সীমালঙ্ঘনকারীদের সম্পর্কে অধিক জ্ঞাত।

  • So eat of that [meat] upon which the name of Allah has been mentioned, if you are believers in His verses. And why should you not eat of that upon which the name of Allah has been mentioned while He has explained in detail to you what He has forbidden you, excepting that to which you are compelled. And indeed do many lead [others] astray through their [own] inclinations without knowledge. Indeed, your Lord - He is most knowing of the transgressors .

Surah 6 | Al-An'am | আল-আন'আম | Verse: 145

  • হে মুহাম্মাদ! এদেরকে বলে দাও, যে ওহী আমার কাছে এসেছে তার মধ্যে তো আমি এমন কিছু পাই না যা খাওয়া কারো ওপর হারাম হতে পারে, তবে মরা, বহমান রক্ত বা শুয়োরের গোশ্‌ত ছাড়া। কারণ তা নাপাক। অথবা যদি অবৈধ হয় আল্লাহ ছাড়া অন্য কারোর নামে যবেহ করার কারণে। তবে অক্ষম অবস্থায় যে ব্যক্তি (তার মধ্য থেকে কোন জিনিস খেয়ে নেবে) নাফরমানীর ইচ্ছা না করে এবং প্রয়োজনের সীমা না পেরিয়ে, সেক্ষেত্রে অবশ্যি তোমার রব ক্ষমাশীল ও অনুগ্রহকারী।
  • Say, "I do not find within that which was revealed to me [anything] forbidden to one who would eat it unless it be a dead animal or blood spilled out or the flesh of swine - for indeed, it is impure - or it be [that slaughtered in] disobedience, dedicated to other than Allah. But whoever is forced [by necessity], neither desiring [it] nor transgressing [its limit], then indeed, your Lord is Forgiving and Merciful."

Surah 7 | Al-A'raf | আল-আ'রাফ | Verse: 33

  • বল,‘আমার রব তো হারাম করেছেন অশ্লীল কাজ- যা প্রকাশ পায় এবং যা গোপন থাকে, আর পাপ ও অন্যায়ভাবে সীমালঙ্ঘন এবং আল্লাহর সাথে তোমাদের শরীক করা, যে ব্যাপারে আল্লাহ কোন প্রমাণ অবতীর্ণ করেননি এবং আল্লাহর উপরে এমন কিছু বলা যা তোমরা জান না’।

  • Say, "My Lord has only forbidden immoralities - what is apparent of them and what is concealed - and sin, and oppression without right, and that you associate with Allah that for which He has not sent down authority, and that you say about Allah that which you do not know."

Surah 10 | Yunus | ইউনুস | Verse: 59 - 60

  • [ হে নবী ] বল, ‘তোমরা কি ভেবে দেখেছ, আল্লাহ তোমাদের জন্য যে রিয্ক নাযিল করেছেন, পরে তোমরা তার কিছু বানিয়েছ হারাম ও হালাল’। বল, ‘আল্লাহ কি তোমাদেরকে অনুমতি দিয়েছেন, নাকি আল্লাহর উপর তোমরা মিথ্যা রটাচ্ছ’? আর যারা আল্লাহর উপর মিথ্যা রটনা করে, কিয়ামতের দিন সম্পর্কে তাদের কি ধারণা? নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ মানুষের প্রতি অনুগ্রহপরায়ণ, কিন্তু তাদের অধিকাংশই কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করে না।

  • [ O Prophet ] Say, "Have you seen what Allah has sent down to you of provision of which you have made [some] lawful and [some] unlawful?" Say, "Has Allah permitted you [to do so], or do you invent [something] about Allah?" And what will be the supposition of those who invent falsehood about Allah on the Day of Resurrection? Indeed, Allah is full of bounty to the people, but most of them are not grateful."

Surah 16 | An-Nahl | আন-নাহাল | Verse: 115 - 116

  • আল্লাহ তোমাদের জন্য হারাম করেছেন মৃত জীব, রক্ত, শূকরের মাংস আর যা যবেহ করার সময় আল্লাহ ছাড়া অন্যের নাম নেয়া হয়েছে। কিন্তু কেউ ইচ্ছাকৃতভাবে অবাধ্য না হয়ে ও সীমালঙ্ঘন না ক’রে নিতান্ত নিরুপায় (হয়ে এসব খেতে বাধ্য) হলে আল্লাহ তো বড়ই ক্ষমাশীল, বড়ই দয়ালু।
  • আর তোমাদের জিহবা দ্বারা বানানো মিথ্যার উপর নির্ভর করে বলো না যে, এটা হালাল এবং এটা হারাম, আল্লাহর উপর মিথ্যা রটানোর জন্য। নিশ্চয় যারা আল্লাহর উপর মিথ্যা রটায়, তারা সফল হবে না।
  • He has only forbidden to you dead animals, blood, the flesh of swine, and that which has been dedicated to other than Allah. But whoever is forced [by necessity], neither desiring [it] nor transgressing [its limit] - then indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
  • And do not say about what your tongues assert of untruth, "This is lawful and this is unlawful," to invent falsehood about Allah. Indeed, those who invent falsehood about Allah will not succeed.

Surah 66 | At-Tahrim | আত-তাহরীম | Verse: 1

  • হে নবী, আল্লাহ তোমার জন্য যা হালাল করেছেন তোমার স্ত্রীদের সন্তুষ্টি কামনায় তুমি কেন তা হারাম করছ? আর আল্লাহ অতীব ক্ষমাশীল, পরম দয়ালু।
  • O Prophet, why do you prohibit [yourself from] what Allah has made lawful for you, seeking the approval of your wives? And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
