যখন একজন মানুষ মারা যায়, তার সব কাজ শেষ হয়ে যায় , তিনটি ব্যতিক্রম ছাড়া: সদকা জারিয়া (চলমান দান) , এমন জ্ঞান যা থেকে উপকার পাওয়া যায়, এবং একটি সৎ সন্তান যে তার জন্য দ োয়া করে । | মুহাম্মদ (সাঃ) ; হাদিস - সহিহ মুসলিম | When a person dies, his works end, except for three: ongoing charity, knowledge that is benefited from, and a righteous child who prays for him. | Prophet Mohammed (PBUH); Hadith - Sahih Muslim |

যে ব্যক্তি ভাল কাজের জন্য সুপারিশ করবে, তার জন্য তাতে (সাওয়াবের) অংশ আছে এবং যে মন্দ কাজের জন্য সুপারিশ করবে, তার জন্য তাতে অংশ আছে । আর আল্লাহ সব কিছুর উপর নজর রাখেন । | সূরাঃ ৪ , আন-নিসা , আয়াতঃ : ৮৫ | Whoever intercedes for a good cause will have a reward therefrom; and whoever intercedes for an evil cause will have a burden therefrom. And ever is Allah, over all things, a Keeper. | Surah 4 , An-Nisa , Verse: 85 |

আল্লাহর নামে, যিনি পরম করুণাময়, পরম দয়ালু
Surah 18 | Al-Kahf | আল-কাহফ | Verse: 83 - 98
- [হে মুহাম্মদ], আর তারা আপনাকে যুল-কারনাইন সম্বন্ধে জিজ্ঞেস করে। বলুন, অচিরেই আমি তোমাদের কাছে তার বিষয় বর্ণনা করব।
- আমরা তো তাকে যমীনে কর্তৃত্ব দিয়েছিলাম এবং প্রত্যেক বিষয়ের উপায়-উপকরণ দান করেছিলাম।
- অতঃপর সে এক পথ অবলম্বন করল।
- চলতে চলতে সে যখন সূর্যের অস্ত গমন স্থানে পৌছল, তখন সে সূর্যকে এক পংকিল জলাশয়ে অস্তগমন করতে দেখল এবং সে সেখানে এক সম্প্রদায়কে দেখতে পেল । আমরা বললাম, হে যুল কারনাইন! তুমি এদেরকে শাস্তি দিতে পার অথবা এদের ব্যাপার সদয়ভাবে গ্ৰহণ করতে পার।
- সে বলল, যে কেউ সীমালংঘন করবে অচিরেই আমরা তাকে শাস্তি দেব, অতঃপর তাকে তার রবের নিকট ফিরিয়ে নেয়া হবে তখন তিনি তাকে কঠিন শাস্তি দেবেন।
- তবে যে ঈমান আনবে এবং সৎকাজ করবে তার জন্য প্রতিদানস্বরূপ আছে কল্যাণ এবং তার প্রতি ব্যবহারে আমরা নরম কথা বলব।
- তারপর সে আরেক পথ অবলম্বন করল ।
- চলতে চলতে যখন সে সূর্যোদয়ের স্থলে পৌঁছল তখন সে দেখল সেটা এমন এক সম্প্রদায়ের উপর উদয় হচ্ছে যাদ ের জন্য সূর্যতাপ হতে আত্মরক্ষার কোন অন্তরাল আমরা সৃষ্টি করিনি;
- প্রকৃত ঘটনা এটাই, আর তার কাছে যে বৃত্তান্ত ছিল তা আমরা সম্যক অবহিত আছি।
- তারপর সে আরেক পথ অবলম্বন করল ।
- চলতে চলতে সে যখন দুই পৰ্বত প্রাচীরের মধ্যবর্তী স্থলে পৌছল, তখন সেখানে সে এক সম্প্রদায়কে পেল, যারা তার কথা তেমন বুঝতে পারছিল না।
- তারা বলল, হে যুল-কারনাইন! ইয়াজূজ ও মাজূজ তো যমীনে অশান্তি সৃষ্টি করছে । তাই আমরা কি আপনাকে এ জন্য কিছু খরচ দেব যে, আপনি আমাদের ও তাদের মধ্যে একটা প্রাচীর নির্মাণ করে দেবেন’?
- সে বলল, আমার রব। আমাকে যে সামৰ্থ্য দিয়েছেন, তা-ই যথেষ্ট । কাজেই তোমরা আমাকে শ্রম দ্বারা সাহায্য কর, আমি তোমাদের ও তাদের মধ্যে এক মজবুত প্রাচীর গড়ে দেব ।
- তোমরা আমার কাছে লোহার পাতসমূহ নিয়ে আস, অবশেষে মধ্যবর্তী ফাঁকা স্থান পূর্ণ হয়ে যখন লৌহস্তুপ দুই পর্বতের সমান হল তখন সে বলল, তোমরা হাঁপরে দম দিত ে থাক৷ অতঃপর যখন সেটা আগুনে পরিণত হল, তখন সে বলল, তোমরা আমার কাছে গলিত তামা নিয়ে আস, আমি তা ঢেলে দেই এর উপর।
- অতঃপর তারা সেটা অতিক্রম করতে পারল না এবং সেটা ভেদও করতে পারল না।
- সে বলল, এটা আমার রব-এর অনুগ্রহ। অতঃপর যখন আমার রব এর প্রতিশ্রুত সময় আসবে তখন তিনি সেটাকে চূর্ণ-বিচূর্ণ করে দেবেন। আর আমার রব-এর প্রতিশ্রুতি সত্য।
- And they ask you, [O Muhammad], about Dhul-Qarnayn. Say, "I will recite to you about him a report."
- Indeed We established him upon the earth, and We gave him to everything a way.
- So he followed a way .
- Until, when he reached the setting of the sun, he found it [as if] setting in a spring of dark mud, and he found near it a people. Allah said, "O Dhul-Qarnayn, either you punish [them] or else adopt among them [a way of] goodness."
- He said, "As for one who wrongs, we will punish him. Then he will be returned to his Lord, and He will punish him with a terrible punishment.
- But as for one who believes and does righteousness, he will have a reward of Paradise, and we will speak to him from our command with ease."
- Then he followed a way
- Until, when he came to the rising of the sun, he found it rising on a people for whom We had not made against it any shield.
- Thus. And We had encompassed [all] that he had in knowledge .
- Then he followed a way.
- Until, when he reached [a pass] between two mountains, he found beside them a people who could hardly understand [his] speech.
- They said, "O Dhul-Qarnayn, indeed Gog and Magog are [great] corrupters in the land. So may we assign for you an expenditure that you might make between us and them a barrier?"
- He said, "That in which my Lord has established me is better [than what you offer], but assist me with strength; I will make between you and them a dam.
- Bring me sheets of iron" - until, when he had leveled [them] between the two mountain walls, he said, "Blow [with bellows]," until when he had made it [like] fire, he said, "Bring me, that I may pour over it molten copper."
- So Gog and Magog were unable to pass over it, nor were they able [to effect] in it any penetration.
- [Dhul-Qarnayn] said, "This is a mercy from my Lord; but when the promise of my Lord comes, He will make it level, and ever is the promise of my Lord true."
Surah 34 | Saba | সাবা | Verse: 10 - 14
- আর অবশ্যই আমরা আমাদের পক্ষ থেকে দাউদকে দিয়েছিলাম মর্যাদা এবং আদেশ করেছিলাম , হে পর্বতমালা ! তোমরা দাউদের সাথে বার বার আমার পবিত্ৰতা ঘোষণা কর এবং পাখিদেরকেও । আর তার জন্য আমরা নরম করে দিয়েছিলাম লোহা ।
- (এ নির্দেশ দিয়ে যে) আপনি পূর্ণ মাপের বর্ম তৈরী করুন এবং ওগুলির কড়াসমূহ যথাযথভাবে সংযুক্ত করুন । আর তোমরা সৎকাজ কর, নিশ্চয় তোমরা যা কিছু কর আমি তার সম্যক দ্রষ্টা ।
- আর সুলাইমানের জন্য আমরা বাতাসকে অনুগত করে দিয়েছিলাম , যা ভোরে একমাসের পথ অতিক্রম করত ও সন্ধ্যায় একমাসের পথ অতিক্রম করত । আমরা তার জন্য গলিত তামার এক প্রস্রবণ প্রবাহিত করেছিলাম এবং তার রবের অনুমতিক্রমে জিনদের কিছু সংখ্যক তার সামনে কাজ করত । আর তাদের মধ্যে যে আমাদের নির্দেশ অমান্য করে , তাকে আমরা জ্বলন্ত আগুনের শান্তি আস্বাদন করাব ।
- তারা সুলাইমানের ইচ্ছানুযায়ী তার জন্য প্রাসাদ , ভাস্কর্য, হাউজসদৃশ বৃহদাকার পাত্র এবং সুদৃঢ়ভাবে স্থাপিত ডেগ নির্মাণ করত । হে দাউদ পরিবার ! কৃতজ্ঞতার সাথে তোমরা কাজ করতে থাক। আর আমার বান্দাদের মধ্যে অল্পই কৃতজ্ঞ !
- অতঃপর যখন আমরা সুলাইমানের মৃত্যু ঘটালাম , তখন জিনদেরকে তার মৃত্যুর খবর জানাল শুধু মাটির পোকা , যা তার লাঠি খাচ্ছিল । অতঃপর যখন তিনি পড়ে গেলেন তখন জিনরা বুঝতে পারল যে, যদি তারা গায়েব জানত , তাহলে তারা লাঞ্ছনাদায়ক শাস্তিতে আবদ্ধ থাকত না ।
- And We certainly gave David from Us bounty. [We said], "O mountains, repeat [Our] praises with him, and the birds [as well]." And We made pliable for him iron,
- [Commanding him], "Make full coats of mail and calculate [precisely] the links, and work [all of you] righteousness. Indeed I, of what you do, am Seeing."
- And to Solomon [We subjected] the wind - its morning [journey was that of] a month - and its afternoon [journey was that of] a month, and We made flow for him a spring of [liquid] copper. And among the jinn were those who worked for him by the permission of his Lord. And whoever deviated among them from Our command - We will make him taste of the punishment of the Blaze.
- They made for him what he willed of elevated chambers, statues, bowls like reservoirs, and stationary kettles. [We said], "Work, O family of David, in gratitude." And few of My servants are grateful.
- And when We decreed for Solomon death, nothing indicated to the jinn his death except a creature of the earth eating his staff. But when he fell, it became clear to the jinn that if they had known the unseen, they would not have remained in humiliating punishment.
Surah 57 | Al-Hadid | আল-হাদীদ | Verse: 25
- নিশ্চয়ই আমি আমার রসূলদেরকে প্রেরণ করেছি স্পষ্ট প্রমাণসহ এবং তাদের সঙ্গে অবতীর্ণ করেছি কিতাব ও তুলাদন্ড (ন্যায়-নীতি); যাতে মানুষ সুবিচার প্রতিষ্ঠা করে। আর আমি লোহা অবতীর্ণ করেছি; যাতে রয়েছে প্রচন্ড শক্তি ও রয়েছে মানুষের জন্য বহুবিধ কল্যাণ, আর যাতে আল্লাহ জানতে পারেন যে, কে না দেখেও তাঁকে ও তাঁর রসূলদেরকে সাহায্য করে। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ শক্তিমান, পরাক্রমশালী।
- We have already sent Our messengers with clear evidences and sent down with them the Scripture and the balance that the people may maintain [their affairs] in justice. And We sent down iron, wherein is great military might and benefits for the people, and so that Allah may make evident those who support Him and His messengers unseen. Indeed, Allah is Powerful and Exalted in Might.
