যে ব্যক্তি ভাল কাজের জন্য সুপারিশ করবে, তার জন্য তাতে (সাওয়াবের) অংশ আছে এবং যে মন্দ কাজের জন্য সুপারিশ করবে, তার জন্য তাতে অংশ আছে । আর আল্লাহ সব কিছুর উপর নজর রাখেন । | সূরাঃ ৪ , আন-নিসা , আয়াতঃ : ৮৫ | Whoever intercedes for a good cause will have a reward therefrom; and whoever intercedes for an evil cause will have a burden therefrom. আল্লাহর নামে, যিনি পরম করুণাময়, পরম দয়ালু
Surah 5 | Al-Ma'ida | আল-মায়েদা | Verse: 38 - 39
- আর যে পুরুষ চুরি করে এবং যে নারী চুরি করে, তোমরা তাদের কৃতকর্মের সাজা হিসাবে তাদের হাত কেটে ফেল, এটা আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকে শাস্তি, আর আল্লাহ অতিশয় ক্ষমতাবান, মহা প্রজ্ঞাময়।
- অতঃপর সীমালংঘন করার পর কেউ তওবা করলে ও নিজেকে সংশোধন করলে নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ তার তওবা কবুল করবেন; নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ ক্ষমাশীল, পরম দয়ালু। [ চুরি করার পর কেউ যদি আন্তরিকভাবে তাওবাহ করে, তাহলে আল্লাহ তাঁর গোনাহ ক্ষমা করে দিতে পারেন — কারণ এটি বান্দা ও আল্লাহর মধ্যকার ব্যাপার। কিন্তু যদি আদালতে চুরির অপরাধ প্রমাণিত হয়ে যায়, তাহলে শরীয়তের নির্ধারিত শাস্তি তাকে পেতেই হবে। কারণ, তাওবা গোনাহ মাফ করালেও শরীয়তের হদ (আইনসম্মত শাস্তি) শুধুমাত্র তাওবার মাধ্যমে বাতিল হয় না। ]
- [As for] the thief, the male and the female, amputate their hands in recompense for what they committed as a deterrent [punishment] from Allah. And Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise.
- But whoever repents after his wrongdoing and reforms, indeed, Allah will turn to him in forgiveness. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. [ If someone sincerely repents after committing theft, Allah may forgive the sin — as it is a matter between the servant and Allah. However, if the theft is proven in court, then the prescribed punishment must still be carried out. This is because, although repentance can erase the sin, it does not cancel the legal punishment set by Islamic law (Shari'ah). ]
