  • যখন একজন মানুষ মারা যায়, তার সব কাজ শেষ হয়ে যায় , তিনটি ব্যতিক্রম ছাড়া: সদকা জারিয়া (চলমান দান) , এমন জ্ঞান যা থেকে উপকার পাওয়া যায়, এবং একটি সৎ সন্তান যে তার জন্য দোয়া করে । | মুহাম্মদ (সাঃ) ; হাদিস - সহিহ মুসলিম | When a person dies, his works end, except for three: ongoing charity, knowledge that is benefited from, and a righteous child who prays for him. | Prophet Mohammed (PBUH); Hadith - Sahih Muslim |

  • যে ব্যক্তি ভাল কাজের জন্য সুপারিশ করবে, তার জন্য তাতে (সাওয়াবের) অংশ আছে এবং যে মন্দ কাজের জন্য সুপারিশ করবে, তার জন্য তাতে অংশ আছে । আর আল্লাহ সব কিছুর উপর নজর রাখেন । | সূরাঃ ৪ , আন-নিসা , আয়াতঃ : ৮৫ | Whoever intercedes for a good cause will have a reward therefrom; and whoever intercedes for an evil cause will have a burden therefrom. And ever is Allah, over all things, a Keeper. | Surah 4 , An-Nisa , Verse: 85 |

আল্লাহর নামে, যিনি পরম করুণাময়, পরম দয়ালু

Surah 23 | Al-Mu’minun | আল-মুমিনুন | Verse: 78

  • তিনিই তোমাদের জন্য কর্ণ , চক্ষু ও অন্তঃকরণ সৃষ্টি করেছেন ; তোমরা অল্পই কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করে থাক ।
  • And it is He who produced for you hearing and vision and hearts ; little are you grateful.

Surah 2 | Al-Baqarah | আল-বাকারা | Verse: 20

  • বিদ্যুৎচমক তাদের দৃষ্টি কেড়ে নেয়ার উপক্রম হয় । যখনই তা তাদের জন্য আলো দেয় , তারা তাতে চলতে থাকে । আর যখন তা তাদের উপর অন্ধকার করে দেয়, তারা দাঁড়িয়ে পড়ে । আর আল্লাহ যদি চাইতেন , অবশ্যই তাদের শ্রবণ ও চোখসমূহ নিয়ে নিতেন । নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ সব কিছুর উপর ক্ষমতাবান ।

  • The lightning almost snatches away their sight. Every time it lights [the way] for them, they walk therein ; but when darkness comes over them, they stand [still] . And if Allah had willed , He could have taken away their hearing and their sight . Indeed , Allah is over all things competent .

Surah 7 | Al-A'raf | আল-আ'রাফ | Verse: 179

  • আর অবশ্যই আমি সৃষ্টি করেছি জাহান্নামের জন্য বহু জিন ও মানুষকে । তাদের রয়েছে অন্তর, তা দ্বারা তারা বুঝে না ; তাদের রয়েছে চোখ , তা দ্বারা তারা দেখে না এবং তাদের রয়েছে কান, তা দ্বারা তারা শুনে না । তারা চতুষ্পদ জন্তুর মত ; বরং তারা অধিক পথভ্রষ্ট । তারাই হচ্ছে গাফেল ।

  • And We have certainly created for Hell many of the jinn and mankind . They have hearts with which they do not understand , they have eyes with which they do not see , and they have ears with which they do not hear . Those are like livestock ; rather , they are more astray . It is they who are the heedless .

Surah 10 | Yunus | ইউনুস | Verse: 31

  • বলুন, কে তোমাদেরকে আসমান ও যমীন থেকে জীবনোপকরুণ সরবরাহ করেন অথবা শ্রবণ ও দৃষ্টিশক্তি কার কর্তৃত্বাধীন, জীবিতকে মৃত থেকে কে বের করেন এবং মৃতকে জীবিত হতে কে বের করেন এবং সব বিষয় কে নিয়ন্ত্রণ করেন? তখন তারা অবশ্যই বলবে, আল্লাহ। সুতরাং বলুন, ‘তবুও কি তোমরা তাকওয়া অবলম্বন করবে না?
  • Say, "Who provides for you from the heaven and the earth? Or who controls hearing and sight and who brings the living out of the dead and brings the dead out of the living and who arranges [every] matter?" They will say, "Allah," so say, "Then will you not fear Him?"

Surah 16 | An-Nahl | আন-নাহাল | Verse: 78

  • আর আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে নির্গত করেছেন তোমাদের মাতৃগর্ভ থেকে এমন অবস্থায় যে, তোমরা কিছুই জানতে না এবং তিনি তোমাদেরকে দিয়েছেন শ্রবণশক্তি, দৃষ্টিশক্তি এবং হৃদয়, যাতে তোমরা কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ কর।
  • And Allah has extracted you from the wombs of your mothers not knowing a thing, and He made for you hearing and vision and intellect that perhaps you would be grateful.

Surah 16 | An-Nahl | আন-নাহাল | Verse: 106 - 109

  • কেহ ঈমান আনার পর আল্লাহকে অস্বীকার করলে এবং কুফরীর জন্য হৃদয় উন্মুক্ত রাখলে তার উপর আপতিত হবে আল্লাহর গযব এবং তার জন্য আছে মহা শাস্তি; তবে তার জন্য নয়, যাকে কুফরীর জন্য বাধ্য করা হয়, কিন্তু তার চিত্ত ঈমানে অবিচল।
  • এটা এ জন্যে যে, তারা দুনিয়ার জীবনকে আখিরাতের উপর প্রাধান্য দেয় আর আল্লাহ কাফির সম্প্রদায়কে হিদায়াত করেন না।
  • এরাই তারা, আল্লাহ যাদের অন্তর, কান ও চোখ মোহর করে দিয়েছেন। আর তারাই গাফিল।
  • নিঃসন্দেহ, নিশ্চিত যে, তারাই আখিরাতে হবে ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত।
  • Whoever disbelieves in Allah after his belief... except for one who is forced [to renounce his religion] while his heart is secure in faith. But those who [willingly] open their breasts to disbelief, upon them is wrath from Allah, and for them is a great punishment;
  • That is because they preferred the worldly life over the Hereafter and that Allah does not guide the disbelieving people.
  • Those are the ones over whose hearts and hearing and vision Allah has sealed, and it is those who are the heedless.
  • Assuredly, it is they, in the Hereafter, who will be the losers.

Surah 17 | Al-Isra | আল-ইসরা (বনী-ইসরাঈল) | Verse: 36

  • আর যে বিষয় তোমার জানা নাই তার অনুসরণ করো না। নিশ্চয় কান , চোখ ও অন্তকরণ - এদের প্রতিটির ব্যাপারে সে জিজ্ঞাসিত হবে ।
  • And do not pursue that of which you have no knowledge . Indeed , the hearing , the sight and the heart - about all those [one] will be questioned.

Surah 22 | Al-Hajj | আল-হজ্জ| Verse: 46

  • তারা কি যমীনে ভ্রমণ করেনি ? তাহলে তাদের হত এমন হৃদয় যা দ্বারা তারা উপলব্ধি করতে পারত এবং এমন কান যা দ্বারা তারা শুনতে পারত । বস্ত্তত চোখ তো অন্ধ হয় না, বরং অন্ধ হয় বক্ষস্থিত হৃদয়

  • So have they not traveled through the earth and have hearts by which to reason and ears by which to hear? For indeed , it is not eyes that are blinded , but blinded are the hearts which are within the breasts .

Surah 23 | Al-Mu'minun | আল-মুমিনুন | Verse: 78 - 80

  • আর তিনিই তোমাদের জন্য কান, চোখ ও অন্তকরণ সৃষ্টি করেছেন; তোমরা খুব অল্পই কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করে থাক ।
  • আর তিনিই তোমাদেরকে যমীনে বিস্তৃত করেছেন এবং তোমাদেরকে তারই কাছে একত্র করা হবে ।
  • আর তিনিই জীবিত করেন এবং মৃত্যু দেন আর তারই অধিকারে রাত ও দিনের পরিবর্তন । তবুও কি তোমরা বুঝবে না ?
  • And it is He who produced for you hearing and vision and hearts; little are you grateful.
  • And it is He who has multiplied you throughout the earth, and to Him you will be gathered.
  • And it is He who gives life and causes death, and His is the alternation of the night and the day. Then will you not reason?

Surah 32 | As-Sajda | আস-সাজদাহ | Verse: 6 - 9

  • তিনিই দৃশ্য ও অদৃশ্যের পরিজ্ঞাতা , পরাক্রমশালী , পরম দয়ালু ।
  • যিনি তাঁর প্রত্যেকটি সৃষ্টিকে উত্তমরূপে সৃজন করেছেন এবং মাটি হতে মানব-সৃষ্টির সূচনা করেছেন ।
  • তারপর তিনি তার বংশ উৎপন্ন করেন তুচ্ছ তরল পদার্থের নির্যাস থেকে ।
  • পরে তিনি ওকে সুঠাম করেছেন এবং তাঁর নিকট হতে ওতে জীবন সঞ্চার করেছেন এবং তোমাদেরকে দিয়েছেন চোখ , কান ও অন্তর । তোমরা অতি সামান্যই কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ কর ।
  • That is the Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, the Exalted in Might, the Merciful ,
  • Who perfected everything which He created and began the creation of man from clay.
  • Then He made his posterity out of the extract of a liquid disdained.
  • Then He proportioned him and breathed into him from His [created] soul and made for you hearing and vision and hearts; little are you grateful.

Surah 36 | Ya-Sin | ইয়াসীন | Verse: 61 - 68

  • আর আমারই ইবাদাত কর , এটাই সরল পথ ।
  • শয়তান তো তোমাদের পূর্বে বহু দলকে বিভ্রান্ত করেছে ; তবুও কি তোমরা বোঝ না ?
  • এটাই সে জাহান্নাম, যার প্রতিশ্রুতি তোমাদেরকে দেয়া হয়েছিল ।
  • তোমাদের অবিশ্বাস (কুফরী) করার কারণে আজ তোমরা এতে প্রবেশ কর ।
  • আজ আমরা তাদের মুখে মোহর মেরে দেব এবং তাদের হাত আমাদের সাথে কথা বলবে ও তাদের পা সে সম্পর্কে সাক্ষ্য দেবে যা তারা অর্জন করত ।
  • আর যদি আমরা চাইতাম তবে তাদের চোখসমূহ অন্ধ করে দিতাম । তখন এরা পথের অন্বেষণে দৌড়ালে কী করে দেখতে পেত ?
  • আর আমরা ইচ্ছে করলে অবশ্যই স্ব স্ব স্থানে তাদেরকে বিকৃত করে দিতাম । ফলে তারা সামনেও এগিয়ে যেতে পারত না এবং পিছনেও ফিরে আসতে পারত না ।
  • আর আমরা যাকে দীর্ঘ জীবন দান করি , সৃষ্টি অবয়বে আমরা তার পরিবর্তন ঘটাই । তবুও কি তারা বুঝবে না ?
  • And that you worship [only] Me? This is a straight path.
  • And he had already led astray from among you much of creation, so did you not use reason?
  • This is the Hellfire which you were promised.
  • [Enter to] burn therein today for what you used to deny."
  • That Day, We will seal over their mouths, and their hands will speak to Us, and their feet will testify about what they used to earn.
  • And if We willed, We could have obliterated their eyes, and they would race to [find] the path, and how could they see?
  • And if We willed, We could have deformed them, [paralyzing them] in their places so they would not be able to proceed, nor could they return.
  • And he to whom We grant long life We reverse in creation; so will they not understand?

Surah 40 | Ghafir | গাফির (আল মু'মিন) | Verse: 19

  • আল্লাহ চক্ষুর অন্যায় কর্ম সম্পর্কেও অবগত , আর অন্তর যা গোপন করে সে সম্পর্কেও ।
  • He ( Allah) knows that which deceives the eyes and what the breasts conceal.

Surah 41 | Fussilat | ফুসসিলাত | Verse: 19 - 25

  • যেদিন আল্লাহর শত্রুদেরকে জাহান্নাম অভিমুখে সমবেত করা হবে সেদিন তাদেরকে বিন্যস্ত করা হবে বিভিন্ন দলে ।
  • পরিশেষে যখন তারা জাহান্নামের সন্নিকটে পৌঁছবে তখন তাদের কান , চোখ ও চামড়া তাদের কৃতকর্ম সম্পর্কে সাক্ষ্য দিবে ।
  • জাহান্নামীরা ওদের চামড়াকে জিজ্ঞাসা করবে, তোমরা আমাদের বিরুদ্ধে সাক্ষ্য দিলে কেন ? উত্তরে চামড়া বলবে , আল্লাহ যিনি সমস্ত কিছুকে বাকশক্তি দিয়েছেন , তিনি আমাদেরও বাকশক্তি দিয়েছেন । তিনি তোমাদেরকে প্রথমবার সৃষ্টি করেছেন এবং তাঁরই নিকট তোমরা প্রত্যাবর্তিত হবে ।
  • তোমাদের কান, চোখ ও চামড়া তোমাদের বিরুদ্ধে সাক্ষ্য দেবে না - এ বিশ্বাসে তোমরা এদের নিকট কিছু গোপন করতে না ; বরং তোমরা মনে করতে যে , তোমরা যা করতে , তার অনেক কিছুই আল্লাহ জানেন না !
  • আর তোমাদের রব সম্বন্ধে তোমাদের এ ধারণাই তোমাদের ধ্বংস করেছে । ফলে তোমরা হয়েছ ক্ষতিগ্রস্তদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত ।
  • এখন তারা ধৈর্যশীল হলেও জাহান্নামই হবে তাদের আবাস এবং তারা ক্ষমাপ্রার্থী হলেও ক্ষমাপ্রাপ্ত হবে না ।
  • আর আমরা তাদের জন্য নির্ধারণ করে দিয়েছিলাম মন্দ সহচরসমূহ যারা তাদের সামনে ও পিছনে যা আছে তা তাদের দৃষ্টিতে শোভন করে দেখিয়েছিল । আর তাদের উপর শাস্তির বাণী সত্য হয়েছে , তাদের পূর্বে গত হওয়া জিন ও মানুষের বিভিন্ন জাতির ন্যায় । নিশ্চয় তারা ছিল ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত ।
  • And [mention, O Muhammad], the Day when the enemies of Allah will be gathered to the Fire while they are [driven] assembled in rows,
  • Until, when they reach it, their hearing and their eyes and their skins will testify against them of what they used to do.
  • And they will say to their skins, "Why have you testified against us?" They will say, "We were made to speak by Allah, who has made everything speak; and He created you the first time, and to Him you are returned.
  • And you were not covering yourselves, lest your hearing testify against you or your sight or your skins, but you assumed that Allah does not know much of what you do.
  • And that was your assumption which you assumed about your Lord. It has brought you to ruin, and you have become among the losers."
  • So [even] if they are patient, the Fire is a residence for them; and if they ask to appease [Allah], they will not be of those who are allowed to appease.
  • And We appointed for them companions who made attractive to them what was before them and what was behind them [of sin], and the word has come into effect upon them among nations which had passed on before them of jinn and men. Indeed, they [all] were losers.

Surah 46 | Al-Ahqaf | আল-আহকাফ | Verse: 21 - 28

  • আর স্মরণ করুন , (হে মুহাম্মদ), আদ সম্প্রদায়ের ভাইয়ের [ (হূদ (আঃ) ]কথা , যখন সে তার সম্প্রদায় আহক্বাফবাসীকে সতর্ক করেছিল এই বলে যে, আল্লাহ ব্যতীত অন্য কারো উপাসনা করো না । আমি তোমাদের জন্য মহাদিনের শাস্তির আশংকা করছি ।
  • তারা বলল, তুমি কি আমাদেরকে আমাদের উপাস্যদের থেকে নিবৃত্ত করতে আমাদের নিকট এসেছ ? তুমি যদি সত্যবাদীদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হও , তাহলে আমাদেরকে যার ভয় দেখাচ্ছ , তা আনয়ন কর ।
  • তিনি বললেন , এ জ্ঞান তো শুধু আল্লাহরই কাছে । আর আমি যা নিয়ে প্রেরিত হয়েছি শুধু তা-ই তোমাদের কাছে প্রচার করি , কিন্তু আমি দেখছি তোমরা এক মুর্খ সম্প্রদায় ।
  • অতঃপর যখন তারা তাদের উপত্যকার দিকে মেঘ আসতে দেখল । তখন বলতে লাগল , এ তো মেঘ আমাদেরকে বৃষ্টি দান করবে । না , বরং এটাই তো তা , যা তোমরা ত্বরান্বিত করতে চেয়েছ , এক ঝড় , এতে রয়েছে । যন্ত্রণাদায়ক শাস্তি ।
  • যা তার প্রতিপালকের নির্দেশে সবকিছুকে ধ্বংস করে দেবে । অতঃপর তাদের পরিণাম এই হল যে , তাদের বাসগৃহগুলো ছাড়া আর কিছুই দৃশ্যমান রইল না । এভাবে আমরা অপরাধী সম্প্রদায়কে প্রতিফল দিয়ে থাকি ।
  • আর অবশ্যই আমরা তাদেরকে (আ’দ সম্প্রদায়কে) যতটা সুদৃঢ়ভাবে প্রতিষ্ঠিত করেছিলাম , তোমাদেরকে (হে কুরায়শ!) তেমন সুদৃঢ়ভাবে প্রতিষ্ঠিত করিনি ; আর আমরা তাদেরকে দিয়েছিলাম কান, চোখ ও হৃদয় ; অতঃপর তাদের কান , চোখ ও হৃদয় তাদের কোন কাজে আসেনি ; যখন তারা আল্লাহর আয়াতসমূহকে অস্বীকার করেছিল । আর যা নিয়ে তারা ঠাট্টা-বিদ্রুপ করত , তা-ই তাদেরকে পরিবেষ্টন করল ।
  • আর অবশ্যই আমরা ধ্বংস করেছিলাম তোমাদের চারপাশের জনপদসমূহ [ চারপাশের জনপদসমূহ বলতে আ’দ, সামুদ এবং লূতের বসতিগুলোকে বুঝানো হয়েছে ] ; এবং আমরা বিভিন্নভাবে আয়াতসমূহ বিবৃত করেছিলাম, যাতে তারা (সৎপথে) ফিরে আসে ।
  • অতঃপর তারা আল্লাহর সান্নিধ্য লাভের জন্য আল্লাহর পরিবর্তে যাদেরকে উপাস্যরূপে গ্রহণ করেছিল , তারা তাদেরকে সাহায্য করল না কেন ? বস্তুতঃ তাদের উপাস্যগুলো তাদের নিকট হতে উধাও হয়ে গেল। আর এ হল তাদের মিথ্যা ও অলীক উদ্ভাবনের পরিণাম ।
  • And mention, [O Muhammad], the brother of 'Aad, when he warned his people in the [region of] al-Ahqaf - and warners had already passed on before him and after him - [saying], "Do not worship except Allah. Indeed, I fear for you the punishment of a terrible day."
  • They said, "Have you come to delude us away from our gods? Then bring us what you promise us, if you should be of the truthful."
  • He said, "Knowledge [of its time] is only with Allah, and I convey to you that with which I was sent; but I see you [to be] a people behaving ignorantly."
  • And when they saw it as a cloud approaching their valleys, they said, "This is a cloud bringing us rain!" Rather, it is that for which you were impatient: a wind, within it a painful punishment,
  • Destroying everything by command of its Lord. And they became so that nothing was seen [of them] except their dwellings. Thus do We recompense the criminal people.
  • And We had certainly established them in such as We have not established you, and We made for them hearing and vision and hearts. But their hearing and vision and hearts availed them not from anything [of the punishment] when they were [continually] rejecting the signs of Allah; and they were enveloped by what they used to ridicule.
  • And We have already destroyed what surrounds you of [those] cities, and We have diversified the signs [or verses] that perhaps they might return [from disbelief].
  • Then why did those they took besides Allah as deities by which to approach [Him] not aid them? But they had strayed from them. And that was their falsehood and what they were inventing.

Surah 47 | Muhammad | মুহাম্মাদ | Verse: 22 - 25

  • তবে কি তোমরা প্রত্যাশা করছ যে , যদি তোমরা শাসন কর্তৃত্ব পাও , তবে তোমরা যমীনে বিপর্যয় সৃষ্টি করবে এবং তোমাদের আত্মীয়তার বন্ধন ছিন্ন করবে ?
  • এদের প্রতিই আল্লাহ অভিসম্পাত করেন , অতঃপর তাদেরকে বধির করেন আর তাদের দৃষ্টিশক্তিকে করেন অন্ধ ।
  • তবে কি তারা কুরআন নিয়ে গভীর চিন্তা - ভাবনা করে না ? নাকি তাদের অন্তর তালাবদ্ধ ?
  • নিশ্চয় যারা নিজেদের কাছে সৎপথ স্পষ্ট হওয়ার পর তা থেকে পৃষ্ঠপ্ৰদৰ্শন করে , শয়তান তাদের কাজকে শোভন করে দেখায় এবং তাদেরকে মিথ্যা আশা দেয় ।
  • So would you perhaps, if you turned away, cause corruption on earth and sever your [ties of] relationship?
  • Those [who do so] are the ones that Allah has cursed, so He deafened them and blinded their vision.
  • Then do they not reflect upon the Qur'an, or are there locks upon [their] hearts?
  • Indeed, those who reverted back [to disbelief] after guidance had become clear to them - Satan enticed them and prolonged hope for them.

Surah 67 | Al-Mulk | আল-মুলক | Verse: 23

  • বল , ‘ তিনিই তোমাদেরকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন এবং তোমাদের জন্য শ্রবণ ও দৃষ্টিশক্তি এবং অন্তকরণসমূহ দিয়েছেন । তোমরা খুব অল্পই শোকর কর ’ ।
  • Say , " It is He who has produced you and made for you hearing and vision and hearts ; little are you grateful . "

Surah 90 | Al-Balad | আল-বালাদ | Verse: 4 - 18

  • নিঃসন্দেহে আমরা মানুষকে সৃষ্টি করেছি কষ্ট-ক্লেশের মধ্যে। (দুনিয়ার প্রত্যেকটি মানুষ কোন না কোন কষ্টের মধ্যে পতিত আছে)।
  • সে কি মনে করে যে, কখনো তার উপর কেউ ক্ষমতাবান হবে না?
  • সে বলে, ‘আমি প্রচুর ধন-সম্পদ নিঃশেষ করেছি’।
  • সে কি মনে করে যে, তাকে কেউ দেখেনি?
  • আমরা কি তার জন্য সৃষ্টি করিনি দুচোখ?
  • আর জিহ্বা ও দুই ঠোঁট?
  • আর আমরা তাকে দেখিয়েছি দুটি পথ।
  • কিন্তু সে গিরি সংকটে প্রবেশ করল না।
  • আর কিসে আপনাকে জানাবে—বন্ধুর গিরিপথ কী?
  • এটা হচ্ছেঃ দাসমুক্তি ।
  • অথবা দুর্ভিক্ষের দিনে খাদ্যদান ।
  • ইয়াতীম আত্মীয়-স্বজনকে।
  • অথবা দারিদ্র-নিষ্পেষিত নিঃস্বকে,
  • অতঃপর সে তাদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হয়ে যায়, যারা ঈমান এনেছে এবং পরস্পরকে উপদেশ দেয় ধৈর্যধারণের, আর পরস্পরকে উপদেশ দেয় দয়া-অনুগ্রহের।
  • তারাই সৌভাগ্যশালী।
  • We have certainly created man into hardship.
  • Does he think that never will anyone overcome him?
  • He says, "I have spent wealth in abundance."
  • Does he think that no one has seen him?
  • Have We not made for him two eyes?
  • And a tongue and two lips?
  • And have shown him the two ways?
  • But he has not broken through the difficult pass.
  • And what can make you know what is [breaking through] the difficult pass?
  • It is the freeing of a slave .
  • Or feeding on a day of severe hunger
  • An orphan of near relationship
  • Or a needy person in misery
  • And then being among those who believed and advised one another to patience and advised one another to compassion.
  • Those are the companions of the right .
