  • যখন একজন মানুষ মারা যায়, তার সব কাজ শেষ হয়ে যায় , তিনটি ব্যতিক্রম ছাড়া: সদকা জারিয়া (চলমান দান) , এমন জ্ঞান যা থেকে উপকার পাওয়া যায়, এবং একটি সৎ সন্তান যে তার জন্য দোয়া করে । | মুহাম্মদ (সাঃ) ; হাদিস - সহিহ মুসলিম | When a person dies, his works end, except for three: ongoing charity, knowledge that is benefited from, and a righteous child who prays for him. | Prophet Mohammed (PBUH); Hadith - Sahih Muslim |

  • যে ব্যক্তি ভাল কাজের জন্য সুপারিশ করবে, তার জন্য তাতে (সাওয়াবের) অংশ আছে এবং যে মন্দ কাজের জন্য সুপারিশ করবে, তার জন্য তাতে অংশ আছে । আর আল্লাহ সব কিছুর উপর নজর রাখেন । | সূরাঃ ৪ , আন-নিসা , আয়াতঃ : ৮৫ | Whoever intercedes for a good cause will have a reward therefrom; and whoever intercedes for an evil cause will have a burden therefrom. And ever is Allah, over all things, a Keeper. | Surah 4 , An-Nisa , Verse: 85 |

আল্লাহর নামে, যিনি পরম করুণাময়, পরম দয়ালু

Surah 9 | At-Tawba | আত-তাওবা | Verse: 11

  • অতঃপর তারা (মুশরিক ) যদি তাওবাহ করে, সালাত কায়েম করে ও যাকাত দেয়, তাহলে তারা তোমাদের দ্বীনী ভাই। আর আমরা আয়াতসমূহ স্পষ্টভাবে বর্ণনা করি এমন সম্প্রদায়ের জন্য যারা জানে।
  • But if they ( polytheists) repent, establish prayer, and give zakah, then they are your brothers in religion; and We detail the verses for a people who know.

Surah 9 | At-Tawba | আত-তাওবা | Verse: 18

  • তারাই তো আল্লাহর মসজিদের আবাদ করবে, যারা ঈমান আনে আল্লাহ ও শেষ দিনের প্রতি, সালাত কায়েম করে, যাকাত দেয় এবং আল্লাহ্‌ ছাড়া অন্য কাউকে ভয় করে না। অতএব আশা করা যায়, তারা হবে সৎপথ প্রাপ্তদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত।
  • The mosques of Allah are only to be maintained by those who believe in Allah and the Last Day and establish prayer and give zakah and do not fear except Allah, for it is expected that those will be of the [rightly] guided.

Surah 9 | At-Tawba | আত-তাওবা | Verse: 60

  • নিশ্চয় সদাকা হচ্ছে ফকীর ও মিসকীনদের জন্য এবং এতে নিয়োজিত কর্মচারীদের জন্য, আর যাদের ইসলামের প্রতি অনুরাগী করা আবশ্যক তাদের জন্য, দাসমুক্তির জন্য, ঋণগ্রস্তদের জন্য, আল্লাহর পথে (সংগ্রামকারী) ও (বিপদগ্রস্ত) মুসাফিরের জন্য। এ হল আল্লাহর পক্ষ হতে নির্ধারিত । আর আল্লাহ মহাজ্ঞানী, প্রজ্ঞাময়।
  • Zakah expenditures are only for the poor and for the needy and for those employed to collect [zakah] and for bringing hearts together [for Islam] and for freeing captives [or slaves] and for those in debt and for the cause of Allah and for the [stranded] traveler - an obligation [imposed] by Allah. And Allah is Knowing and Wise.

Surah 9 | At-Tawba | আত-তাওবা | Verse: 71 - 72

  • আর মুমিন পুরুষ ও মুমিন নারী একে অপরের বন্ধু, তারা সৎকাজের নির্দেশ দেয় ও অসৎকাজে নিষেধ করে, সালাত কায়েম করে, যাকাত দেয় এবং আল্লাহ্‌ ও তাঁর রাসূলের আনুগত্য করে; তারাই, যাদেরকে আল্লাহ্‌ অচিরেই দয়া করবেন। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ্‌ পরাক্রমশালী, প্রজ্ঞাময়।
  • আল্লাহ্‌ মুমিন পুরুষ ও মুমিন নারীকে প্রতিশ্রুতি দিয়েছেন জান্নাতের—যার নিচে নদীসমূহ প্রবাহিত, সেখানে তারা স্থায়ী হবে। আরও (ওয়াদা দিচ্ছেন) স্থায়ী জান্নাতসমূহে উত্তম বাসস্থানের। আর আল্লাহ্‌র সন্তুষ্টিই সর্বশ্রেষ্ঠ এবং এটাই মহাসাফল্য।
  • The believing men and believing women are allies of one another. They enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and establish prayer and give zakah and obey Allah and His Messenger. Those - Allah will have mercy upon them. Indeed, Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise
  • Allah has promised the believing men and believing women gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide eternally, and pleasant dwellings in gardens of perpetual residence; but approval from Allah is greater. It is that which is the great attainment.

Surah 21 | Al-Anbiya | আল-আম্বিয়া | Verse: 51 - 73

  • আর আমরা তো ইতোপূর্বে ইবরাহীমকে সঠিক পথে চলার জ্ঞান দান করেছিলাম এবং আমরা তার সম্বন্ধে ছিলাম সম্যক অবগত ।
  • যখন তিনি তার পিতা ও তার সম্প্রদায়কে বললেন, এ মূর্তিগুলো কী, যাদের পূজায় তোমরা রত রয়েছ !
  • তারা বলল, আমরা আমাদের পিতৃ পুরুষদেরকে এদের ইবাদত করতে দেখেছি।
  • তিনি বললেন, অবশ্যই তোমরা নিজেরা এবং তোমাদের পিতৃপুরুষরাও রয়েছ স্পষ্ট বিভ্রান্তিতে ।
  • তারা বলল, তুমি কি আমাদের কাছে সত্য নিয়ে এসেছ, না তুমি আমাদের সঙ্গে তামাশা করছ ?
  • তিনি বললেন, বরং তোমাদের রব তো আসমানসমূহ ও যমীনের রব, যিনি সেগুলো সৃষ্টি করেছেন এবং এ বিষয়ে আমি অন্যতম সাক্ষী ।
  • আর আল্লাহর শপথ, তোমরা পিছন ফিরে চলে গেলে আমি তোমাদের মূর্তিগুলো সম্বন্ধে অবশ্যই কৌশল অবলম্বন করব ।
  • অতঃপর তিনি চূর্ণ-বিচূর্ণ করে দিলেন মূর্তিগুলোকে, তাদের প্রধানটি ছাড়া; যাতে তারা তার দিকে ফিরে আসে ।
  • তারা বলল, আমাদের মা’বুদগুলোর প্ৰতি এরূপ করল কে? সে নিশ্চয়ই সীমালংঘনকারী ।
  • তাদের কেউ কেউ বলল, ‘আমরা শুনেছি এক যুবক এই মূর্তিগুলোর সমালোচনা করে। তাকে বলা হয় ইবরাহীম’।
  • তারা বলল, তাহলে তাকে জনসমক্ষে উপস্থিত কর, যাতে তারা সাক্ষ্য সাক্ষ্য দিতে পারে ।
  • তারা বলল, হে ইবরাহীম! তুমিই কি আমাদের মা’বুদগুলোর প্রতি এরূপ করেছ?
  • তিনি বললেন, বরং এদের এ প্রধান-ই তো এটা করেছে । সুতরাং তোমরা ওদেরকেই জিজ্ঞেস কর; যদি ওরা কথা বলতে পারে ।
  • তখন তারা মনে মনে চিন্তা করে দেখল এবং একে অপরকে বলতে লাগলঃ তোমরাইতো সীমালংঘনকারী ।
  • তারপর তাদের মাথা নত হয়ে গেল এবং তারা বলল, তুমি তো জানই যে, এরা কথা বলে না ।
  • ইবরাহীম বললেন, তবে কি তোমরা আল্লাহর পরিবর্তে এমন কিছুর ইবাদত কর যা তোমাদের কোন উপকার করতে পারে না এবং অপকারও করতে পারে না ?
  • ধিক তোমাদের জন্য এবং আল্লাহর পরিবর্তে তোমরা যাদের ইবাদত কর তাদের জন্য ! তবুও কি তোমরা বুঝবে না ?
  • তারা বলল, তাকে পুড়িয়ে ফেল এবং সাহায্য কর তোমাদের উপাস্যগুলিকে; যদি তোমরা কিছু করতে চাও।
  • আমরা বললাম, হে আগুন! তুমি ইবরাহীমের জন্য শীতল ও নিরাপদ হয়ে যাও।
  • আর তারা তার ক্ষতি সাধনের ইচ্ছা করেছিল। কিন্তু আমরা তাদেরকেই সর্বাধিক ক্ষতিগ্ৰস্ত করে দিলাম ।
  • এবং আমরা তাকে ও লুতকে উদ্ধার করে নিয়ে গেলাম সে দেশে ( শাম দেশ - বর্তমানে সিরিয়া ও প্যালেষ্টাইন) , যেখানে আমরা কল্যাণ রেখেছি সৃষ্টিজগতের জন্য ।
  • এবং আমরা ইবরাহীমকে দান করেছিলাম ইসহাক (পুত্র) আর অতিরিক্ত পুরস্কারস্বরূপ ইয়াকুবকে (পৌত্র); এবং প্রত্যেককেই করেছিলাম সৎকর্মপরায়ণ।
  • আর আমরা তাদেরকে করেছিলাম নেতা; তারা আমাদের নির্দেশ অনুসারে মানুষকে সঠিক পথ দেখাত; আর আমরা তাদেরকে সৎকাজ করতে ও সালাত কায়েম করতে এবং যাকাত প্ৰদান করতে ওহী পাঠিয়েছিলাম; এবং তারা আমাদেরই ইবাদতকারী ছিল।
  • And We had certainly given Abraham his sound judgement before, and We were of him well-Knowing .
  • When he said to his father and his people, "What are these statues to which you are devoted?"
  • They said, "We found our fathers worshippers of them."
  • He said, "You were certainly, you and your fathers, in manifest error."
  • They said, "Have you come to us with truth, or are you of those who jest?"
  • He said, "[No], rather, your Lord is the Lord of the heavens and the earth who created them, and I, to that, am of those who testify.
  • And [I swear] by Allah, I will surely plan against your idols after you have turned and gone away."
  • So he made them into fragments, except a large one among them, that they might return to it [and question].
  • They said, "Who has done this to our gods? Indeed, he is of the wrongdoers."
  • They said, "We heard a young man mention them who is called Abraham."
  • They said, "Then bring him before the eyes of the people that they may testify."
  • They said, "Have you done this to our gods, O Abraham?"
  • He said, "Rather, this - the largest of them - did it, so ask them, if they should [be able to] speak."
  • So they returned to [blaming] themselves and said [to each other], "Indeed, you are the wrongdoers."
  • Then they reversed themselves, [saying], "You have already known that these do not speak!"
  • He said, "Then do you worship instead of Allah that which does not benefit you at all or harm you?
  • Uff to you and to what you worship instead of Allah. Then will you not use reason?"
  • They said, "Burn him and support your gods - if you are to act."
  • Allah said, "O fire, be coolness and safety upon Abraham."
  • And they intended for him harm, but We made them the greatest losers.
  • And We delivered him and Lot to the land ( present-day Syria and Palestine) which We had blessed for the worlds.
  • And We gave him Isaac and Jacob in addition, and all [of them] We made righteous.
  • And We made them leaders guiding by Our command. And We inspired to them the doing of good deeds, establishment of prayer, and giving of zakah; and they were worshippers of Us.

Surah 22 | Al-Hajj | আল-হজ্জ | Verse: 77 -78

  • হে মুমিনগণ! তোমরা রুকূ’ কর, সিজদা কর এবং তোমাদের রব-এর ইবাদাত কর ও সৎকাজ কর, যাতে তোমরা সফলকাম হতে পার। [সাজদাহ] ۩
  • এবং সংগ্রাম কর আল্লাহর পথে যেভাবে সংগ্রাম করা উচিত; তিনি তোমাদেরকে মনোনীত করেছেন। তিনি দ্বীনের ব্যাপারে তোমাদের উপর কোন কঠিনতা আরোপ করেননি; তোমাদের পিতা ইব্রাহীমের মিল্লাত (ধর্মাদর্শ মেনে চল); তিনি পূর্বে তোমাদের নামকরণ করেছেন ‘মুসলিম’ এবং এই গ্রন্থেও; যাতে রসূল তোমাদের জন্য সাক্ষী স্বরূপ হয় এবং তোমরা সাক্ষী স্বরূপ হও মানব জাতির জন্য। সুতরাং তোমরা নামায কায়েম কর, যাকাত আদায় কর এবং আল্লাহকে অবলম্বন কর; তিনিই তোমাদের অভিভাবক, কত উত্তম অভিভাবক এবং কত উত্তম সাহায্যকারী তিনি!
  • O you who have believed, bow and prostrate and worship your Lord and do good - that you may succeed. [Sajdah] ۩
  • And strive for Allah with the striving due to Him. He has chosen you and has not placed upon you in the religion any difficulty. [It is] the religion of your father, Abraham. Allah named you "Muslims" before [in former scriptures] and in this [revelation] that the Messenger may be a witness over you and you may be witnesses over the people. So establish prayer and give zakah and hold fast to Allah. He is your protector; and excellent is the protector, and excellent is the helper.

Surah 23 | Al-Mu'minun | আল-মুমিনুন Verse: 1 - 11

  • অবশ্যই সফলকাম হয়েছে মুমিনগণ,
  • যারা নিজেদের নামাযে বিনয় নম্রতা অবলম্বন করে ।
  • আর যারা অসার ক্রিয়া-কলাপ হতে বিরত থাকে ।
  • আর যারা যাকাত দানে সক্রিয় ।
  • আর যারা নিজেদের যৌনাঙ্গকে রাখে সংরক্ষিত ।
  • তবে তাদের স্ত্রী ও মালিকানাভুক্ত দাসী ব্যতীত , এতে তারা নিন্দনীয় হবে না ।
  • অতঃপর কেউ এদেরকে ছাড়া অন্যকে কামনা করলে, তারাই হবে সীমালংঘনকারী ।
  • আর যারা রক্ষা করে নিজেদের আমানত ও প্রতিশ্রুতি ,
  • আর যারা নিজেদের সালাতে থাকে যত্নবান ।
  • তারাই হবে উত্তরাধিকারী ।
  • উত্তরাধিকারী হবে ফিরদাউসের; যাতে তারা চিরস্থায়ী হবে ।
  • Certainly will the believers have succeeded .
  • They who are during their prayer humbly submissive .
  • And they who turn away from ill speech
  • And they who are observant of zakah
  • And they who guard their private parts
  • Except from their wives or those their right hands possess, for indeed, they will not be blamed .
  • But whoever seeks beyond that, then those are the transgressors
  • And they who are to their trusts and their promises attentive
  • And they who carefully maintain their prayers
  • Those are the inheritors
  • Who will inherit al-Firdaus. They will abide therein eternally.

Surah 24 | An-Nur | আন-নূর | Verse: 56

  • আর তোমরা সালাত কায়েম কর, যাকাত দাও এবং রাসূলের আনুগত্য কর, যাতে তোমরা রহমতপ্রাপ্ত হতে পার ।
  • And establish prayer and give zakah and obey the Messenger - that you may receive mercy.

Surah 27 | An-Naml | আন-নামাল Verse: 1 - 6

  • ত্ব-সীন; এগুলো আল-কুরআন ও সুস্পষ্ট কিতাবের আয়াত ।
  • পথনির্দেশ ও সুসংবাদ মুমিনদের জন্য।
  • যারা সালাত কায়েম করে ও যাকাত দেয় আর তারাই আখেরাতে নিশ্চিত বিশ্বাস রাখে।
  • নিশ্চয় যারা আখেরাতে ঈমান আনে না, তাদের জন্য তাদের কাজকে আমরা শোভন করেছি, ফলে তারা বিভ্রান্ত হয়ে ঘুরে বেড়ায়;
  • এদেরই জন্য রয়েছে নিকৃষ্ট শাস্তি এবং এরাই আখেরাতে সর্বাধিক ক্ষতিগ্ৰস্ত ।
  • আর নিশ্চয় আপনি আল-কুরআন প্রাপ্ত হচ্ছেন প্রজ্ঞাময়, সর্বজ্ঞের নিকট থেকে।
  • Ta, Seen. These are the verses of the Qur'an and a clear Book
  • As guidance and good tidings for the believers
  • Who establish prayer and give zakah, and of the Hereafter they are certain [in faith].
  • Indeed, for those who do not believe in the Hereafter, We have made pleasing to them their deeds, so they wander blindly.
  • Those are the ones for whom there will be the worst of punishment, and in the Hereafter they are the greatest losers.
  • And indeed, [O Muhammad], you receive the Qur'an from one Wise and Knowing.

Surah 30 | Ar-Rum | আর-রুম | Verse: 37 - 38

  • আর মানুষের সম্পদ বৃদ্ধি পাবে বলে তোমরা যে সুদ দাও , আল্লাহর দৃষ্টিতে তা ধন-সম্পদ বৃদ্ধি করে না । কিন্তু আল্লাহর সন্তুষ্টি লাভের জন্য যে যাকাত তোমরা দাও (তা-ই বৃদ্ধি পায়) সুতরাং তারাই সমৃদ্ধশালী ।
  • And whatever you give for interest to increase within the wealth of people will not increase with Allah. But what you give in zakah, desiring the countenance of Allah - those are the multipliers.

Surah 31 | Luqman | লুকমান | Verse: 1 - 5

  • আলিফ - লাম - মীম ।
  • এগুলি জ্ঞানগর্ভ কিতাবের আয়াত ।
  • সৎকর্মশীলদের জন্য হিদায়াত (পথনির্দেশ ) ও রহমতস্বরূপ ,
  • যারা সালাত কায়েম করে এবং যাকাত দেয় , আর তারাই আখিরাতে নিশ্চিত বিশ্বাসী ;
  • তারাই তাদের রবের পক্ষ থেকে হিদায়াতের উপর আছে এবং তারাই সফলকাম ।
  • Alif , Lam , Meem .
  • These are verses of the wise Book,
  • As guidance and mercy for the doers of good
  • Who establish prayer and give zakah, and they, of the Hereafter, are certain [in faith].
  • Those are on [right] guidance from their Lord, and it is those who are the successful.

Surah 35 | Fatir | ফাতির | Verse: 29 - 30

  • নিশ্চয় যারা আল্লাহর কিতাব তিলাওয়াত করে এবং সালাত কায়েম করে , আর আমরা তাদেরকে যে রিযিক দিয়েছি তা থেকে গোপনে ও প্রকাশ্যে ব্যয় করে , তারা এমন ব্যবসার আশা করতে পারে যাতে কক্ষনো লোকসান হবে না ।
  • এ জন্য যে , আল্লাহ তাদেরকে (তাদের কর্মের) পূর্ণ প্রতিদান দেবেন এবং তিনি নিজ অনুগ্রহে তাদেরকে আরও বেশী দেবেন । তিনি তো ক্ষমাশীল , গুণগ্রাহী ।
  • Indeed, those who recite the Book of Allah and establish prayer and spend [in His cause] out of what We have provided them, secretly and publicly, [can] expect a profit that will never perish
  • That He may give them in full their rewards and increase for them of His bounty. Indeed, He is Forgiving and Appreciative.

Surah 41 | Fussilat | ফুসসিলাত | Verse: 6 - 7

  • বলুন [হে মুহাম্মদ] , আমি কেবল তোমাদের মত একজন মানুষ , আমার প্রতি ওহী হয় যে , তোমাদের ইলাহই কেবলমাত্র এক ইলাহ । অতএব তোমরা তার প্রতি দৃঢ়তা অবলম্বন কর এবং তাঁরই কাছে ক্ষমা প্রার্থনা কর । ধ্বংস তাদের জন্য যারা আল্লাহর সাথে অন্যদেরকে শরীক গণ্য করে ।
  • যারা যাকাত প্রদান করেনা এবং তারা আখিরাতেও অবিশ্বাসী ।
  • Say, O [Muhammad], "I am only a man like you to whom it has been revealed that your god is but one God; so take a straight course to Him and seek His forgiveness." And woe to those who associate others with Allah -
  • Those who do not give zakah, and in the Hereafter they are disbelievers.

Surah 47 | Muhammad | মুহাম্মাদ | Verse: 36 - 38

  • দুনিয়ার জীবন তো শুধু খেল-তামাশা ও অর্থহীন কথাবার্তা। আর যদি তোমরা ঈমান আন এবং আল্লাহ-ভীরুতা অবলম্বন কর , তবে আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে পুরস্কার দেবেন এবং তিনি তোমাদের ধন-সম্পদ চান না ।
  • তোমাদের নিকট হতে তিনি তা চাইলে ও তার জন্যে তোমাদের উপর চাপ দিলে তোমরা তো কার্পণ্য করবে এবং তিনি তোমাদের বিদ্বেষভাব প্রকাশ করে দেবেন ।
  • দেখ , তোমরাই তো তারা যাদেরকে আল্লাহ্র পথে ব্যয় করতে বলা হচ্ছে অথচ তোমাদের কেউ কেউ কার্পণ্য করছে । তবে যে কার্পণ্য করেছে সে তো কার্পণ্য করছে নিজেরই প্রতি । আর আল্লাহ অভাবমুক্ত এবং তোমরা অভাবগ্ৰস্ত । আর যদি তোমরা বিমুখ হও , তবে তিনি তোমাদের ছাড়া অন্য সম্প্রদায়কে তোমাদের স্থলবর্তী করবেন ; তারপর তারা তোমাদের মত হবে না ।
  • [This] worldly life is only amusement and diversion. And if you believe and fear Allah, He will give you your rewards and not ask you for your properties.
  • If He should ask you for them and press you, you would withhold, and He would expose your unwillingness.
  • Here you are - those invited to spend in the cause of Allah - but among you are those who withhold [out of greed]. And whoever withholds only withholds [benefit] from himself; and Allah is the Free of need, while you are the needy. And if you turn away, He will replace you with another people; then they will not be the likes of you.

Surah 58 | Al-Mujadila | আল-মুজাদালা | Verse: 11 - 13

  • হে ঈমানদারগণ! যখন তোমাদেরকে বলা হয়, মজলিসে স্থান প্রশস্ত করে দাও, তখন তোমরা স্থান প্রশস্ত করে দিও, আল্লাহ তোমাদের জন্য স্থান প্ৰশস্ত করে দেবেন। আর যখন বলা হয়, উঠ, তখন তোমরা উঠে যাবে। তোমাদের মধ্যে যারা ঈমান এনেছে এবং যাদেরকে জ্ঞান দান করা হয়েছে আল্লাহ্‌ তাদেরকে মর্যাদায় উন্নত করবেন; আর তোমরা যা কর আল্লাহ সে সম্পর্কে সবিশেষ অবহিত।
  • হে মুমিনগণ, তোমরা যখন রাসূলের সাথে একান্তে কথা বলতে চাও, তখন তোমাদের এরূপ কথার পূর্বে কিছু সদাকা পেশ কর। এটি তোমাদের জন্য শ্রেয়তর ও পবিত্রতর; কিন্তু যদি তোমরা সক্ষম না হও তবে আল্লাহ পরম ক্ষমাশীল, অতিশয় দয়ালু।
  • তোমরা কি ভয় পেয়ে গেলে যে, একান্ত পরামর্শের পূর্বে সদাকা পেশ করবে? হ্যাঁ, যখন তোমরা তা করতে পারলে না, আর আল্লাহও তোমাদের ক্ষমা করে দিলেন, তখন তোমরা সালাত কায়েম কর, যাকাত দাও এবং আল্লাহ ও তাঁর রাসূলের আনুগত্য কর। তোমরা যা কর, আল্লাহ সে সম্পর্কে সম্যক অবগত।
  • O you who have believed, when you are told, "Space yourselves" in assemblies, then make space; Allah will make space for you. And when you are told, "Arise," then arise; Allah will raise those who have believed among you and those who were given knowledge, by degrees. And Allah is Acquainted with what you do.
  • O you who have believed, when you [wish to] privately consult the Messenger, present before your consultation a charity. That is better for you and purer. But if you find not [the means] - then indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
  • Have you feared to present before your consultation charities? Then when you do not and Allah has forgiven you, then [at least] establish prayer and give zakah and obey Allah and His Messenger. And Allah is Acquainted with what you do.

Surah 73 | Al-Muzzammil | আল-মুযযাম্মিল | Verse: 20

  • নিশ্চয় আপনার রব জানেন যে, আপনি সালাতে দাঁড়ান কখনও রাতের প্ৰায় দুই-তৃতীয়াংশ, কখনও অর্ধাংশ এবং কখনও এক-তৃতীয়াংশ এবং দাঁড়ায় আপনার সঙ্গে যারা আছে তাদের একটি দলও। আর আল্লাহ্‌ই নির্ধারণ করেন দিন ও রাতের পরিমাণ। তিনি জানেন যে, তোমরা এটা পুরোপুরি পালন করতে পারবে না।, তাই আল্লাহ তোমাদের ক্ষমা করলেন। কাজেই কুরআন থেকে যতটুকু সহজ ততটুকু পড়, আল্লাহ জানেন যে, তোমাদের মধ্যে কেউ কেউ অসুস্থ হয়ে পড়বে, আর কেউ কেউ আল্লাহ্‌র অনুগ্রহ সন্ধানে দেশ ভ্ৰমন করবে এবং কেউ কেউ আল্লাহর পথে লড়াইয়ে লিপ্ত হবে। কাজেই তোমরা কুরআন হতে যতটুকু সহজসাধ্য ততটুকু পড়। আর তোমরা সালাত কায়েম কর, যাকাত প্ৰদান কর এবং আল্লাহকে দাও উত্তম ঋণ। তোমরা তোমাদের নিজেদের জন্য ভাল যা কিছু অগ্রিম পাঠাবে তোমরা তা পাবে আল্লাহর কাছে। তা উৎকৃষ্টতর এবং পুরস্কার হিসেবে মহত্তর। আর তোমরা ক্ষমা প্রার্থনা কর আল্লাহর কাছে; নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ ক্ষমাশীল, পরম দয়ালু।
  • Indeed, your Lord knows, [O Muhammad], that you stand [in prayer] almost two thirds of the night or half of it or a third of it, and [so do] a group of those with you. And Allah determines [the extent of] the night and the day. He has known that you [Muslims] will not be able to do it and has turned to you in forgiveness, so recite what is easy [for you] of the Qur'an. He has known that there will be among you those who are ill and others traveling throughout the land seeking [something] of the bounty of Allah and others fighting for the cause of Allah. So recite what is easy from it and establish prayer and give zakah and loan Allah a goodly loan. And whatever good you put forward for yourselves - you will find it with Allah. It is better and greater in reward. And seek forgiveness of Allah. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

Surah 98 | Al-Bayyina | আল-বায়্যিনাহ | Verse: 1 - 8

  • আহলে কিতাবদের মধ্যে যারা কুফরী করেছে এবং মুশরিকরণ, তারা নিবৃত্ত হবে না যতক্ষন না তাদের কাছে সুস্পষ্ট প্রমাণ আসবে ;
  • আল্লাহর কাছ থেকে এক রাসূল, যিনি তেলাওয়াত করেন পবিত্র গ্রন্থ।
  • যাতে আছে সঠিক-সরল বিধান ।
  • আর যাদেরকে কিতাব দেয়া হয়েছিল তারা তো বিভক্ত হল তাদের কাছে সুস্পষ্ট প্ৰমাণ আসার পরও ।
  • আর তাদেরকে কেবল এ নির্দেশই প্রদান করা হয়েছিল যে, তারা যেন আল্লাহর ইবাদত করে তাঁরই জন্য দ্বীনকে একনিষ্ঠ করে এবং সালাত কায়েম করে ও যাকাত প্ৰদান করে। আর এটাই সঠিক দ্বীন ।
  • নিশ্চয় কিতাবীদের মধ্যে যারা কুফরি করেছে তারা এবং মুশরিকরা জাহান্নামের আগুনে স্থায়ীভাবে অবস্থান করবে; তারাই সৃষ্টির অধ্যম।
  • নিশ্চয় যারা ঈমান এনেছে এবং সৎকাজ করেছে, তারাই সৃষ্টির শ্ৰেষ্ঠ।
  • তাদের রবের কাছে আছে তাদের পুরস্কার : স্থায়ী জান্নাত, যার নিচে নদী প্রবাহিত, সেখানে তারা চিরস্থায়ী হবে। আল্লাহ তাদের প্রতি সন্তুষ্ট এবং তারাও তার প্রতি সস্তুষ্ট। এটি তার জন্য, যে তার রবকে ভয় করে।
  • Those who disbelieved among the People of the Scripture and the polytheists were not to be parted [from misbelief] until there came to them clear evidence
  • A Messenger from Allah, reciting purified scriptures
  • Within which are correct writings.
  • Nor did those who were given the Scripture become divided until after there had come to them clear evidence.
  • And they were not commanded except to worship Allah, [being] sincere to Him in religion, inclining to truth, and to establish prayer and to give zakah. And that is the correct religion.
  • Indeed, they who disbelieved among the People of the Scripture and the polytheists will be in the fire of Hell, abiding eternally therein. Those are the worst of creatures.
  • Indeed, they who have believed and done righteous deeds - those are the best of creatures.
  • Their reward with Allah will be gardens of perpetual residence beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever, Allah being pleased with them and they with Him. That is for whoever has feared his Lord.
