যখন একজন মানুষ মারা যায়, তার সব কাজ শেষ হয়ে যায় , তিনটি ব্যতিক্রম ছাড়া: সদকা জারিয়া (চলমান দান) , এমন জ্ঞান যা থেকে উপকার পাওয়া যায়, এবং একটি সৎ সন্তান যে তার জন্য দোয়া করে । | মুহাম্মদ (সাঃ) ; হাদিস - সহিহ মুসলিম | When a person dies, his works end, except for three: ongoing charity, knowledge that is benefited from, and a righteous child who prays for him. | Prophet Mohammed (PBUH); Hadith - Sahih Muslim |
যে ব্যক্তি ভাল কাজের জন্য সুপারিশ করবে, তার জন্য তাতে (সাওয়াবের) অংশ আছে এবং যে মন্দ কাজের জন্য সুপারিশ করবে, তার জন্য তাতে অংশ আছে । আর আল্লাহ সব কিছুর উপর নজর রাখেন । | সূরাঃ ৪ , আন-নিসা , আয়াতঃ : ৮৫ | Whoever intercedes for a good cause will have a reward therefrom; and whoever intercedes for an evil cause will have a burden therefrom. And ever is Allah, over all things, a Keeper. | Surah 4 , An-Nisa , Verse: 85 |

ধন-সম্পদ মানবজীবনের একটি অপরিহার্য অংশ এবং এটি কুরআনের বিভিন্ন সূরাতে আলোচনা করা হয়েছে। আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকে ধন-সম্পদ একটি বিশেষ বরকত হিসেবে গণ্য করা হয়, যা মানুষের জীবনে প্রাচুর্য ও সচ্ছলতা প্রদান করে। তবে, ধন-সম্পদ কেবল একটি উপহার নয়; এটি একটি পরীক্ষাও। কুরআনে বলা হয়েছে যে ধন-সম্পদ আল্লাহর নির্দেশনা অনুযায়ী ব্যবহৃত হলে এটি সৎকর্মের একটি মাধ্যম হতে পারে, অন্যথায় এটি অহংকার ও দুর্নীতির কারণও হতে পারে।

ধন-সম্পদের সঠিক ব্যবহার, পরিমাণের সীমা, এবং দানের মাধ্যমে এটি আল্লাহর উদ্দেশ্যে ব্যবহারের গুরুত্ব কুরআনে বিস্তারিতভাবে উল্লেখ করা হয়েছে। এটি কেবল একজন ব্যক্তির সমাজে সামাজিক অবস্থা বৃদ্ধি করে না বরং তাদের আধ্যাত্মিক উন্নতিরও সহায়ক হতে পারে। কুরআনে ধন-সম্পদ যে শুধু সাময়িক সুখের উপাদান নয়, বরং এটি একটি পরীক্ষার অংশ এবং আধ্যাত্মিক উন্নতির মাধ্যমে চিরস্থায়ী শান্তি অর্জনের একটি উপায় তা স্পষ্টভাবে বোঝানো হয়েছে।

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
আল্লাহর নামে, যিনি পরম করুণাময়, পরম দয়ালু

Surah 2 | Al-Baqara | আল-বাকারা | Verse: 134

আর আমরা তোমাদেরকে অবশ্যই পরিক্ষা করব কিছু ভয় , ক্ষুধা এবং ধন-সম্পদ , জীবন ও ফসলের ক্ষয়ক্ষতি দ্বারা । আর আপনি সুসংবাদ দিন ধৈর্যশীলদেরকে ।
And We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient,

Surah 2 | Al-Baqara | আল-বাকারা | Verse: 261

যারা আল্লাহর পথে স্বীয় ধন-সম্পদ ব্যয় করে তাদের উপমা যেমন একটি শস্যবীজ, তা হতে উৎপন্ন হল সাতটি শীষ, প্রত্যেক শীষে (উৎপন্ন হল) এক শত শস্য, এবং আল্লাহ যার জন্য ইচ্ছা করেন বর্ধিত করে দেন; বস্তুতঃ আল্লাহ হচ্ছেন অতি দানশীল, সর্বজ্ঞ।
The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed [of grain] which grows seven spikes; in each spike is a hundred grains. And Allah multiplies [His reward] for whom He wills. And Allah is all-Encompassing and Knowing.

Surah 2 | Al-Baqara | আল-বাকারা | Verse: 267

হে মুমিনগণ! তোমরা যা উপার্জন কর এবং আমরা যা যমীন থেকে তোমাদের জন্য উৎপাদন করি(২) তা থেকে যা উৎকৃষ্ট তা ব্যয় কর; এবং নিকৃষ্ট বস্তু ব্যয় করার সংকল্প করো না, অথচ তোমরা তা গ্রহণ করবে না, যদি না তোমরা চোখ বন্ধ করে থাক। আর জেনে রাখ, নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ অভাবমুক্ত, প্রশংসিত।
O you who have believed, spend from the good things which you have earned and from that which We have produced for you from the earth. And do not aim toward the defective therefrom, spending [from that] while you would not take it [yourself] except with closed eyes. And know that Allah is Free of need and Praiseworthy.

Surah 9 | At-Tawba | আত-তাওবা | Verse: 34 - 35

হে ঈমানদারগণ, নিশ্চয় পন্ডিত ও সংসার বিরাগীদের অনেকেই মানুষের ধন-সম্পদ অন্যায়ভাবে ভক্ষণ করে, আর তারা আল্লাহর পথে বাধা দেয় এবং যারা সোনা ও রূপা পুঞ্জীভূত করে রাখে, আর তা আল্লাহর রাস্তায় খরচ করে না, তুমি তাদের বেদনাদায়ক আযাবের সুসংবাদ দাও। যেদিন জাহান্নামের আগুনে তা গরম করা হবে, অতঃপর তা দ্বারা তাদের কপালে, পার্শ্বে এবং পিঠে সেঁক দেয়া হবে। (আর বলা হবে) ‘এটা তা-ই যা তোমরা নিজদের জন্য জমা করে রেখেছিলে, সুতরাং তোমরা যা জমা করেছিলে তার স্বাদ উপভোগ কর’।
O you who have believed, indeed many of the scholars and the monks devour the wealth of people unjustly and avert [them] from the way of Allah. And those who hoard gold and silver and spend it not in the way of Allah - give them tidings of a painful punishment. The Day when it will be heated in the fire of Hell and seared therewith will be their foreheads, their flanks, and their backs, [it will be said], "This is what you hoarded for yourselves, so taste what you used to hoard."

Surah 9 | At-Tawba | আত-তাওবা | Verse: 55

কাজেই তাদের সম্পদ ও সন্তান-সন্ততি আপনাকে,"হে মুহাম্মদ", যেন বিমুগ্ধ না করে, আল্লাহ তো এসবের দ্বারাই তাদেরকে দুনিয়ার জীবনে শাস্তি দিতে চান। আর তাদের আত্মা দেহত্যাগ করবে কাফের থাকা অবস্থায়।
So let not their wealth or their children impress you," O Muhammad" . Allah only intends to punish them through them in worldly life and that their souls should depart [at death] while they are disbelievers.

Surah 9 | At-Tawba | আত-তাওবা | Verse: 85

আর তাদের সম্পদ ও সন্তান-সন্ততি আপনাকে যেন বিমুগ্ধ না করে; আল্লাহ তো এগুলোর দ্বারাই তাদেরকে পার্থিব জীবনে শাস্তি দিতে চান; আর তারা কাফের থাকা অবস্থায় তাদের আত্মা দেহ-ত্যাগ করে।
And let not their wealth and their children impress you. Allah only intends to punish them through them in this world and that their souls should depart [at death] while they are disbelievers.

Surah 10 | Yunus | ইউনুস | Verse: 88 - 89

মূসা বললেন, হে আমাদের রব! আপনি তো ফিরআউন ও তার পরিষদবর্গকে দুনিয়ার জীবনে শোভা ও সম্পদ দান করেছেন, হে আমাদের রব! যা দ্বারা তারা মানুষকে আপনার পথ থেকে ভ্ৰষ্ট করে। হে আমাদের রব! তাদের সম্পদ বিনষ্ট করুন, আর তাদের হৃদয় কঠিন করে দিন, ফলে তারা যন্ত্রণাদায়ক শাস্তি প্রত্যক্ষ না করা পর্যন্ত ঈমান আনবে না।
তিনি (আল্লাহ) বললেন, ‘তোমাদের উভয়ের দুআ কবুল করা হল। অতএব তোমরা অবিচল থাক এবং অবশ্যই তাদের পথ অনুসরণ করো না যাদের জ্ঞান নেই।
And Moses said, "Our Lord, indeed You have given Pharaoh and his establishment splendor and wealth in the worldly life, our Lord, that they may lead [men] astray from Your way. Our Lord, obliterate their wealth and harden their hearts so that they will not believe until they see the painful punishment."
[Allah] said, "Your supplication has been answered." So remain on a right course and follow not the way of those who do not know."

Surah 16 | An-Nahl | আন-নাহাল | Verse: 71

আর আল্লাহ রিয্ক তোমাদের কতককে কতকের উপর প্রাধান্য দিয়েছেন; কিন্তু যাদেরকে প্রাধান্য দেয়া হয়েছে, তারা তাদের রিয্ক দাসদাসীদের ফিরিয়ে দেয় না। (এই ভয়ে যে,) তারা তাতে সমান হয়ে যাবে। তবে তারা কি আল্লাহর নিআমতকে অস্বীকার করছে?
And Allah has favored some of you over others in provision. But those who were favored would not hand over their provision to those whom their right hands possess so they would be equal to them therein. Then is it the favor of Allah they reject?

Surah 16 | An-Nahl | আন-নাহাল | Verse: 96

তোমাদের কাছে যা আছে তা নিঃশেষ হবে এবং আল্লাহর কাছে যা আছে তা চিরস্থায়ী থাকবে। যারা ধৈর্য ধারণ করে, আমরা অবশ্যই তাদেরকে তারা যা করত তার চেয়ে শ্রেষ্ঠ প্রতিদান দেব।
Whatever you have will end, but what Allah has is lasting. And We will surely give those who were patient their reward according to the best of what they used to do.

Surah 17 | Al-Isra | আল-ইসরা (বনী-ইসরাঈল) | Verse: 83

আর আমরা মানুষকে সম্পদ দান করি, তখন সে মুখ ফিরিয়ে নেয় এবং অহংকারে দূরে সরে যায়। আর তাকে অমঙ্গল স্পর্শ করলে সে একেবারে হতাশ হয়ে পড়ে।
And when We bestow favor upon the disbeliever, he turns away and distances himself; and when evil touches him, he is ever despairing.

Surah 18 | Al-Kahf | আল-কাহফ | Verse: 45 - 46

আর আপনি তাদের কাছে পেশ করুন উপমা দুনিয়ার জীবনের: এটা পানির ন্যায় যা আমরা বর্ষণ করি আকাশ থেকে, যা দ্বারা ভূমিজ উদ্ভিদ ঘন সন্নিবিষ্ট হয়ে উদগত হয়, তারপর তা বিশুষ্ক হয়ে এমন চূর্ণ-বিচূর্ণ হয় যে, বাতাস তাকে উড়িয়ে নিয়ে যায়। আর আল্লাহ সব কিছুর উপর শক্তিমান।
ধন-সম্পদ ও সন্তান-সন্ততি দুনিয়ার জীবনের শোভা ; আর সৎকার্য, যার ফল স্থায়ী ওটা আপনার প্রতিপালকের নিকট পুরস্কার প্রাপ্তির জন্য শ্রেষ্ঠ এবং আশা প্রাপ্তির ব্যাপারেও উত্তম ।

And present to them the example of the life of this world, [its being] like rain which We send down from the sky, and the vegetation of the earth mingles with it and [then] it becomes dry remnants, scattered by the winds. And Allah is ever, over all things, Perfect in Ability.
Wealth and children are [but] adornment of the worldly life. But the enduring good deeds are better to your Lord for reward and better for [one's] hope.

Surah 20 | Ta-Ha | ত্ব-হা | Verse: 130 - 132

কাজেই তারা যা বলে, সে বিষয়ে আপনি ধৈর্য ধারণ করুন এবং সূর্যোদয়ের আগে ও সূর্যাস্তের আগে আপনার রব-এর সপ্ৰশংস পবিত্ৰতা ও মহিমা ঘোষণা করুন এবং রাতে পবিত্রতা ও মহিমা ঘোষণা করুন, এবং দিনের প্রান্তসমূহেও , যাতে আপনি সন্তুষ্ট হতে পারেন ।
আর আপনি, [হে মুহাম্মাদ], আপনার দু'চোখ কখনো প্রসারিত করবেন না সে সবের প্রতি, যা আমরা বিভিন্ন শ্রেণীকে দুনিয়ার জীবনের সৌন্দর্যস্বরূপ উপভগের উপকরণ হিসেবে দিয়েছি, তা দ্বারা তাদেরকে পরীক্ষা করার জন্য। আর আপনার রব-এর দেয়া রিযিকই সর্বোৎকৃষ্ট ও অধিক স্থায়ী।
আর আপনার পরিবারবর্গকে সালাতের আদেশ দিন ও তাতে অবিচল থাকুন, আমরা আপনার কাছে কোন রিযিক চাই না; আমরাই আপনাকে রিযিক দেই । আর শুভ পরিণাম তো তাকওয়াতেই নিহিত ।

So be patient over what they say and exalt [Allah] with praise of your Lord before the rising of the sun and before its setting; and during periods of the night [exalt Him] and at the ends of the day, that you may be satisfied.
And do not extend your, [O Muhammad], eyes toward that by which We have given enjoyment to [some] categories of them, [its being but] the splendor of worldly life by which We test them. And the provision of your Lord is better and more enduring.
And enjoin prayer upon your family [and people] and be steadfast therein. We ask you not for provision; We provide for you, and the [best] outcome is for [those of] righteousness.

Surah 24 | An-Nur | আন-নূর | Verse: 22

আর তোমাদের মধ্যে যারা ঐশ্বর্য ও প্রাচুর্যের অধিকারী তারা যেন শপথ গ্রহণ না করে যে, তারা আত্মীয়-স্বজন ও অভাবগ্রস্তকে এবং আল্লাহর রাস্তায় যারা গৃহত্যাগ করেছে, তাদের কিছুই দেবে না; তারা যেন ওদেরকে ক্ষমা করে এবং ওদের দোষ-ত্রুটি মার্জনা করে। তোমরা কি পছন্দ করো না যে, আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে ক্ষমা করে দিন? আর আল্লাহ চরম ক্ষমাশীল, পরম দয়াময় ।
And let not those of virtue among you and wealth swear not to give [aid] to their relatives and the needy and the emigrants for the cause of Allah, and let them pardon and overlook. Would you not like that Allah should forgive you? And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

Surah 26 | Ash-Shu'ara | আশ-শুআ'রা | Verse: 69 - 89

আর [হে মুহাম্মাদ], আপনি তাদের কাছে ইবরাহীমের বৃত্তান্ত বৰ্ণনা করুন ।
যখন তিনি তার পিতা ও তার সম্প্রদায়কে বলেছিলেন, তোমরা কিসের ইবাদাত কর ?
তারা বলল , ‘আমরা মূর্তির পূজা করি এবং আমরা নিষ্ঠার সাথে ওদের পূজায় নিরত থাকি ।
তিনি বললেন , তোমরা যখন আহ্বান কর তখন তারা তোমাদের শোনে কি ?
অথবা তারা কি তোমাদের উপকার কিংবা অপকার করতে পারে ?
তারা বলল , না , তবে আমরা আমাদের পিতৃপুরুষদেরকে পেয়েছি , তারা এরূপই করত ।
ইবরাহীম বললেন , তোমরা কি ভেবে দেখেছ, তোমরা কিসের পূজা কর ।
তোমরা এবং তোমাদের পূর্ববর্তী পিতৃপুরুষরা ?
তারা সবাই আমার শত্রু, বিশ্বজগতের পালনকর্তা ছাড়া ।
যিনি আমাকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন, অতঃপর তিনিই আমাকে হেদায়াত দিয়েছেন ।
আর তিনিই আমাকে খাওয়ান এবং তিনিই আমাকে পান করান ।
এবং রোগাক্রান্ত হলে তিনিই আমাকে রোগমুক্ত করেন ।
আর তিনিই আমার মৃত্যু ঘটাবেন, অতঃপর আমাকে পুনর্জীবিত করবেন ।
এবং আশা করি, তিনি কিয়ামতের দিন আমার অপরাধসমূহ মার্জনা করে দেবেন ।
হে আমার রাব্ব! আমাকে প্রজ্ঞা দান করুন এবং সৎ কর্মপরায়ণদের সাথে আমাকে মিলিত করুন ।
এবং পরবর্তীদের মধ্যে আমার সুনাম-সুখ্যাতি অব্যাহত রাখুন ,
এবং আমাকে নি‘য়ামাতপূর্ণ জান্নাতের উত্তরাধিকারীদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত করুন ,
আর আমার পিতাকে ক্ষমা করুন, তিনি তো পথভ্রষ্টদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত ছিলেন ।
এবং যেদিন পুনরুত্থিত করা হবে সেদিন আমাকে লাঞ্ছিত করবেন না ।
যে দিন ধন-সম্পদ ও সন্তান-সন্ততি কোন কাজে আসবে না ;
সে দিন উপকৃত হবে শুধু সে , যে আল্লাহর কাছে আসবে বিশুদ্ধ অন্তঃকরণ নিয়ে ।

And [O Muhammad], recite to them the news of Abraham,
When he said to his father and his people, "What do you worship?"
They said, "We worship idols and remain to them devoted."
He said, "Do they hear you when you supplicate ?
Or do they benefit you, or do they harm?"
They said, "But we found our fathers doing thus."
He said, "Then do you see what you have been worshipping,
You and your ancient forefathers ?
Indeed, they are enemies to me, except the Lord of the worlds,
Who created me, and He [it is who] guides me.
And it is He who feeds me and gives me drink.
And when I am ill, it is He who cures me
And who will cause me to die and then bring me to life .
And who I aspire that He will forgive me my sin on the Day of Recompense."
[And he said], "My Lord, grant me authority and join me with the righteous.
And grant me a reputation of honor among later generations.
And place me among the inheritors of the Garden of Pleasure.
And forgive my father. Indeed, he has been of those astray.
And do not disgrace me on the Day they are [all] resurrected
The Day when there will not benefit [anyone] wealth or children
But only one who comes to Allah with a sound heart."

Surah 34 | Saba | সাবা | Verse: 31 - 39

আর কাফিরগণ বলে , আমরা এ কুরআনের ওপর কখনো ঈমান আনবনা এবং এর আগে যা আছে তাতেও না । আর হায় ! আপনি যদি দেখতেন যালিমদেরকে , যখন তাদের রবের সামনে দাঁড় করানো হবে , তখন তারা পরস্পরকে দোষারোপ করতে থাকবে , যারা দুর্বল (অনুসারী) ছিল তারা দাম্ভিক (অনুসৃত) দেরকে বলবে , তোমরা না থাকলে আমরা অবশ্যই বিশ্বাসী হতাম ।
যারা দাম্ভিক (অনুসৃত) ছিল , তারা দুর্বল (অনুসারী)দেরকে বলবে , তোমাদের নিকট সৎ পথের দিশা আসার পর আমরা কি তোমাদেরকে তা হতে নিবৃত্ত করেছিলাম ? বস্তুতঃ তোমরাইতো ছিলে অপরাধী ।
যাদেরকে দুর্বল করে রাখা হয়েছিল তারা দাম্ভিকদের বলবে - তোমরাই তো বরং দিন-রাত চক্রান্ত করতে । তোমরা আমাদেরকে নির্দেশ দিতে যাতে আমরা আল্লাহকে অস্বীকার করি আর তাঁর সমকক্ষ স্থির করি । আর যখন তারা শাস্তি প্রত্যক্ষ করবে তখন মনে মনে অনুতপ্ত হবে , আর আমি কাফিরদের গলায় শৃঙ্খল পরিয়ে দেব । তারা যা করত কেবল তারই প্রতিফল তাদেরকে দেয়া হবে ।
যখনই আমরা কোন জনপদে সতর্ককারী প্রেরণ করেছি সেখানকার বিত্তশালী অধিবাসীরা বলেছে , তুমি যা নিয়ে প্রেরিত হয়েছ আমরা তা প্রত্যাখ্যান করি ।
তারা আরও বলেছে , আমরা ধনে-জনে সমৃদ্ধিশালী ; আর আমাদেরকে কিছুতেই শান্তি দেয়া হবে না ।
বলুন , আমার রব যার প্রতি ইচ্ছে তার রিযিক বাড়িয়ে দেন অথবা সীমিত করেন ; কিন্তু অধিকাংশ লোকই এটা জানে না ।
আর তোমাদের ধন-সম্পদ ও সন্তান-সন্ততি আমার নৈকট্য লাভের সহায়ক হবে না । তবে যারা ঈমান আনে ও সৎকাজ করে, তারাই তাদের কাজের জন্য পাবে বহুগুণ প্রতিদান ; আর তারা সুউচ্চ প্রাসাদে নিরাপদে থাকবে ।
আর যারা আমার আয়াতসমূহকে ব্যর্থ করে দিতে প্রচেষ্টা চালায় তাদেরকে আযাবের মধ্যে উপস্থিত করা হবে ।
বলুন , নিশ্চয় আমার রব তাঁর বান্দাদের মধ্যে যার জন্য ইচ্ছা রিয্ক প্রশস্ত করেন এবং সঙ্কুচিত করেন । আর তোমরা যা কিছু আল্লাহর জন্য ব্যয় কর তিনি তার বিনিময় দেবেন এবং তিনিই উত্তম রিয্কদাতা ।

And those who disbelieve say, "We will never believe in this Qur'an nor in that before it." But if you could see when the wrongdoers are made to stand before their Lord, refuting each other's words... Those who were oppressed will say to those who were arrogant, "If not for you, we would have been believers."
Those who were arrogant will say to those who were oppressed, "Did we avert you from guidance after it had come to you? Rather, you were criminals."
Those who were oppressed will say to those who were arrogant, "Rather, [it was your] conspiracy of night and day when you were ordering us to disbelieve in Allah and attribute to Him equals." But they will [all] confide regret when they see the punishment; and We will put shackles on the necks of those who disbelieved. Will they be recompensed except for what they used to do?
And We did not send into a city any warner except that its affluent said, "Indeed we, in that with which you were sent, are disbelievers."
And they said, "We are more [than the believers] in wealth and children, and we are not to be punished."
Say, "Indeed, my Lord extends provision for whom He wills and restricts [it], but most of the people do not know."
And it is not your wealth or your children that bring you nearer to Us in position, but it is [by being] one who has believed and done righteousness. For them there will be the double reward for what they did, and they will be in the upper chambers [of Paradise], safe [and secure].
And the ones who strive against Our verses to cause [them] failure - those will be brought into the punishment [to remain].
Say, "Indeed, my Lord extends provision for whom He wills of His servants and restricts [it] for him. But whatever thing you spend [in His cause] - He will compensate it; and He is the best of providers."

Surah 43 | Az-Zukhruf | আয-যুখরুফ | Verse: 33 - 39

সত্যপ্রত্যাখ্যানে সব মানুষ এক মতাবলম্বী হয়ে পড়বে , এ আশংকা না থাকলে পরম দয়াময়কে যারা অস্বীকার করে , তাদেরকে তিনি দিতেন ওদের গৃহের জন্য রৌপ্যনির্মিত ছাদ এবং সিঁড়ি ; যাতে তারা আরোহণ করত ।
দিতেন তাদের গৃহের জন্য রৌপ্যনির্মিত দরজা , বিশ্রামের জন্য পালঙ্ক ,
আর (অনুরূপ দিতাম) স্বর্ণ নির্মিতও ; এবং এ সবই তো শুধু দুনিয়ার জীবনের ভোগ-সম্ভার । আর আখিরাত আপনার রবের নিকট মুত্তাকীদের জন্যই ।
আর যে ব্যক্তি পরম দয়াময় আল্লাহর স্মরণে উদাসীন হয় তিনি তার জন্য এক শয়তানকে নিয়োজিত করেন, অতঃপর সে হয় তার সহচর ।
আর নিশ্চয় তারাই (শয়তোনরা) মানুষদেরকে সৎপথ থেকে বাধা দেয় , অথচ মানুষরা (ভ্ৰষ্ট পথে থাকার পরও) মনে করে তারা সৎ পথে পরিচালিত হচ্ছে ।
অবশেষে যখন সে আমাদের নিকট আসবে , তখন সে শয়তানকে বলবে , হায় ! আমার ও তোমার মধ্যে যদি পূর্ব ও পশ্চিমের ব্যবধান থাকত ! সুতরাং কতইনা নিকৃষ্ট সে সঙ্গী !
ওদেরকে বলা হবে, তোমরা সীমালংঘন করেছিলে ; আজ তোমাদের এ অনুতাপ তোমাদের কোন কাজে আসবে না । নিশ্চয় তোমরা আযাবে পরস্পর অংশীদার হয়ে থাকবে ।

And if it were not that the people would become one community [of disbelievers], We would have made for those who disbelieve in the Most Merciful - for their houses - ceilings and stairways of silver upon which to mount
And for their houses - doors and couches [of silver] upon which to recline
And gold ornament. But all that is not but the enjoyment of worldly life. And the Hereafter with your Lord is for the righteous.
And whoever is blinded from remembrance of the Most Merciful - We appoint for him a devil, and he is to him a companion.
And indeed, the devils avert them from the way [of guidance] while they think that they are [rightly] guided
Until, when he comes to Us [at Judgement], he says [to his companion], "Oh, I wish there was between me and you the distance between the east and west - how wretched a companion."
And never will it benefit you that Day, when you have wronged, that you are [all] sharing in the punishment.

Surah 49 | Al-Hujurat | আল-হুজুরাত | Verse: 15

বিশ্বাসী তো তারাই , যারা আল্লাহ ও তাঁর রসূলের প্রতি বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করার পর সন্দেহ পোষণ করে না এবং নিজেদের সম্পদ ও জীবন দ্বারা আল্লাহর পথে সংগ্রাম করে । তারাই সত্যনিষ্ঠ । The believers are only the ones who have believed in Allah and His Messenger and then doubt not but strive with their properties and their lives in the cause of Allah. It is those who are the truthful.

Surah 51 | Adh-Dhariyat | আয-যারিয়াত | Verse: 15 - 19

নিশ্চয় মুত্তাকীরা থাকবে জান্নাতসমূহে ও ঝর্ণাধারায় ,
গ্ৰহণ করবে তা যা তাদের রব তাদেরকে দিবেন ; নিশ্চয় ইতোপূর্বে তারা ছিল সৎকর্মশীল ,
তারা রাতের সামান্য অংশই অতিবাহিত করত নিদ্রায় ,
আর রাতের শেষ প্রহরে তারা ক্ষমা প্রার্থনা করত ,
আর তাদের ধন-সম্পদে রয়েছে ভিক্ষুক ও বঞ্চিতের হক ।

Indeed , the righteous will be among gardens and springs ,
Accepting what their Lord has given them . Indeed , they were before that doers of good .
They used to sleep but little of the night ,
And in the hours before dawn they would ask forgiveness ,
And from their properties was [given] the right of the [needy] petitioner and the deprived .

Surah 53 | An-Najm | আন-নাজম | Verse: 44 - 48

আর নিশ্চয় তিনিই ( আল্লাহ ) মৃত্যু দেন এবং তিনিই জীবন দেন।
আর এই যে, তিনিই সৃষ্টি করেন যুগল—পুরুষ ও নারী
শুক্রবিন্দু হতে, যখন তা স্খলিত হয়,
আর এই যে, পুনরুত্থান ঘটানোর দায়িত্ব তাঁরই ।
আর এই যে, তিনিই অভাবমুক্ত করেন এবং সম্পদ দান করেন,

And that it is He ( Allah ) who causes death and gives life
And that He creates the two mates - the male and female
From a sperm-drop when it is emitted
And that [incumbent] upon Him is the next creation
And that it is He who enriches and suffices

Surah 57 | Al-Hadid | আল-হাদীদ | Verse: 20

তোমরা জেনে রেখ যে, পার্থিব জীবনতো ক্রীড়া কৌতুক, জাঁকজমক, পারস্পরিক অহংকার প্রকাশ, ধন-সম্পদ ও সন্তান-সন্ততিতে প্রাচুর্য লাভের প্রতিযোগিতা ব্যতীত আর কিছুই নয়; ওর উপমা বৃষ্টি, যদ্বারা উৎপন্ন শস্য সম্ভার কৃষকদেরকে চমৎকৃত করে, অতঃপর ওটা শুকিয়ে যায়, ফলে আপনি ওটা পীতবর্ণ দেখতে পান, অবশেষে ওটা খড়কুটায় পরিণত হয়। পরকালে (অবিশ্বাসীদের জন্য) রয়েছে কঠিন শাস্তি এবং (সৎপথ অনুসারীদের জন্য রয়েছে) আল্লাহর ক্ষমা ও সন্তুষ্টি। পার্থিব জীবন ছলনাময় ভোগ ব্যতীত কিছুই নয়।
Know that the life of this world is but amusement and diversion and adornment and boasting to one another and competition in increase of wealth and children - like the example of a rain whose [resulting] plant growth pleases the tillers; then it dries and you see it turned yellow; then it becomes [scattered] debris. And in the Hereafter is severe punishment and forgiveness from Allah and approval. And what is the worldly life except the enjoyment of delusion.

Surah 57 | Al-Hadid | আল-হাদীদ | Verse: 22 - 23

যমীনে বা ব্যক্তিগতভাবে তোমাদের উপর যে বিপৰ্যয়ই আসে তা সংঘটিত হওয়ার পূর্বেই আমরা তা কিতাবে লিপিবদ্ধ রেখেছি নিশ্চয় আল্লাহর পক্ষে এটা খুব সহজ।
এটা এ জন্যে যে, তোমরা যা হারিয়েছ তাতে যেন তোমরা বিমর্ষ না হও এবং যা তিনি তোমাদেরকে দিয়েছেন তার জন্য আনন্দিত না হও। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ পছন্দ করেন না কোন উদ্ধত অহংকারীদেরকে ।

No disaster strikes upon the earth or among yourselves except that it is in a register before We bring it into being - indeed that, for Allah, is easy.
In order that you not despair over what has eluded you and not exult [in pride] over what He has given you. And Allah does not like everyone self-deluded and boastful.

Surah 58 | Al-Mujadila | আল-মুজাদালা | Verse: 17

আল্লাহর শাস্তি মোকাবিলায় তাদের ধন-সম্পদ ও সন্তান-সন্তাতি তাদের কোন কাজে আসবে না; তারাই জাহান্নামের অধিবাসী, সেখানে তারা স্থায়ী হবে।
Never will their wealth or their children avail them against Allah at all. Those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide therein eternally.

Surah 62 | Al-Jumu'a | আল-জুমু'আ | Verse: 9 -11

হে মুমিনগণ , যখন জুমু‘আর দিনে সালাতের জন্য আহবান করা হয় , তখন তোমরা আল্লাহর স্মরণের দিকে ধাবিত হও । আর বেচা-কেনা বর্জন কর । এটাই তোমাদের জন্য সর্বোত্তম , যদি তোমরা জানতে ।
অতঃপর যখন সালাত সমাপ্ত হবে তখন তোমরা পৃথিবীতে ছড়িয়ে পড় আর আল্লাহর অনুগ্রহ হতে অনুসন্ধান কর এবং আল্লাহকে বেশি বেশি স্মরণ কর , যাতে তোমরা সফল হতে পার ।
আর যখন তারা দেখে ব্যবসা অথবা ক্রীড়া-কৌতুক তখন তারা আপনাকে দাঁড়ানো অবস্থায় রেখে সেদিকে ছুটে যায় । বলুন, আল্লাহর কাছে যা আছে তা খেল-তামাশা ও ব্যবসার চেয়ে উৎকৃষ্ট । আর আল্লাহ্ সর্বশ্রেষ্ঠ রিযিকদাতা ।

O you who have believed, when [the adhan] is called for the prayer on the day of Jumu'ah [Friday], then proceed to the remembrance of Allah and leave trade. That is better for you, if you only knew.
And when the prayer has been concluded , disperse within the land and seek from the bounty of Allah , and remember Allah often that you may succeed .
But when they saw a transaction or a diversion , [O Muhammad] , they rushed to it and left you standing . Say , "What is with Allah is better than diversion and than a transaction , and Allah is the best of providers ."

Surah 63 | Al-Munafiqun | আল-মুনাফিকূন | Verse: 9

হে মুমিনগণ ! তোমাদের ধন-সম্পদ ও সন্তান-সন্ততি যেন তোমাদেরকে আল্লাহর স্মরণে উদাসীন না করে । আর যারা এরূপ উদাসীন হবে তারাই তো ক্ষতিগ্ৰস্ত ।

O you who have believed , let not your wealth and your children divert you from remembrance of Allah . And whoever does that - then those are the losers .

Surah 64 | At-Taghabun | আত-তাগাবুন | Verse: 17

যদি তোমরা আল্লাহকে উত্তম ঋণ দান কর তিনি তোমাদের জন্য তা বহু গুণ বৃদ্ধি করবেন এবং তিনি তোমাদেরকে ক্ষমা করবেন । আল্লাহ গুণগ্রাহী , পরম ধৈর্যশীল ।

If you loan Allah a goodly loan , He will multiply it for you and forgive you . And Allah is Most Appreciative and Forbearing .

Surah 69 | Al-Haqqa | আল-হাক্কাহ | Verse: 1 - 37

অবশ্যম্ভাবী ঘটনা ( কিয়ামত ) ।
কী সেই অবশ্যম্ভাবী ঘটনা ?
আর কিসে আপনাকে জানাবে সে অবশ্যম্ভাবী ঘটনা কী ?
আদ ও সামূদ জাতি সেই আকস্মিকভাবে সংঘটিতব্য মহাবিপদকে মিথ্যে বলেছিল ।
অতঃপর সামূদ সম্প্রদায়, তাদেরকে ধ্বংস করা হয়েছিল এক প্ৰলয়ংকর বিপর্যয়কারী প্ৰচণ্ড চীৎকার দ্বারা ।
আর ‘ আদ সম্প্রদায়, তাদেরকে ধ্বংস করা হয়েছিল প্রচন্ড ঠান্ডা ঝঞ্ঝাবায়ু দ্বারা ।
যা তিনি তাদের উপর প্রবাহিত করেছিলেন সাতরাত ও আটদিন বিরামহীনভাবে ; তখন আপনি উক্ত সম্প্রদায়কে দেখতেন — তারা সেখানে লুটিয়ে পড়ে আছে সারশূন্য খেজুর কাণ্ডের ন্যায় ।
অতঃপর তাদের কাউকে ও আপনি বিদ্যমান দেখতে পান কি ?
আর ফিরআউন, তার পূর্ববর্তীরা এবং উল্টে যাওয়া বস্তিবাসীরা ( লূত সম্প্রদায় ) পাপ করেছিল।
তারা তাদের প্রতিপালকের রসূলকে অমান্য করেছিল , ফলে তিনি তাদেরকে অতি কঠোরভাবে পাকড়াও করলেন ।
যখন জলোচ্ছ্বাস হল , অবশ্যই তখন আমি তোমাদেরকে নৌযানে আরোহণ করিয়েছি ।
আমরা এটা করেছিলাম তোমাদের শিক্ষার জন্য এবং এজন্যে যে, যাতে শ্রুতিধর কান এটা সংরক্ষণ করে।
অতঃপর যখন শিংগায় ফুৎকার দেওয়া হবে একটি মাত্র ফুৎকার ।
তখন পর্বতমালা সহ পৃথিবী উৎক্ষিপ্ত হবে এবং একই ধাক্কায় ওগুলো চূর্ণ-বিচূর্ণ হয়ে যাবে ।
সেদিন সংঘটিত হবে মহাঘটনা (কিয়ামত)।
আর আসমান বিদীর্ণ হয়ে যাবে । ফলে সেদিন তা হয়ে যাবে দুর্বল বিক্ষিপ্ত ।
আর ফেরেশতাগণ আসমানের প্রান্ত দেশে থাকবে এবং সেদিন আটজন ফিরিশতা আপনার রবের আরশকে ধারণ করবে তাদের উপরে ।
সেদিন উপস্থিত করা হবে তোমাদেরকে এবং তোমাদের কোন গোপনই আর গোপন থাকবে না ।
তখন যাকে তার আমলনামা তার ডান হাতে দেয়া হবে, সে বলবে , ‘ এই যে আমার ‘আমালানামা পড়ে দেখ ,
আমার পূর্ণ বিশ্বাস ছিল যে , আমাকে আমার হিসাবের সম্মুখীন হতে হবে । ’
কাজেই সে যাপন করবে সন্তোষজনক জীবন ;
সুউচ্চ জান্নাতে
যার ফলরাশি অবনমিত থাকবে নাগালের মধ্যে ।
( তাদেরকে বলা হবে, ) ‘ পানাহার কর তৃপ্তির সাথে , তোমরা অতীত দিনে যা করেছিলে তার বিনিময়ে ।’
কিন্তু যার আমলনামা তার বাম হাতে দেওয়া হবে , সে বলবে , ‘ হায় ! আমাকে যদি দেওয়াই না হত আমার আমলনামা ।
এবং আমি যদি না জানতাম আমার হিসাব ।
হায় ! আমার মৃত্যুই যদি আমার শেষ হত !
আমার ধন-সম্পদ আমার কোন কাজেই এল না ।
আমার ক্ষমতাও আমার থেকে চলে গেল !
ফেরেশতাদেরকে বলা হবে , ধর তাকে , তার গলায় বেড়ী পরিয়ে দাও ।
‘ তারপর তাকে তোমরা নিক্ষেপ কর জাহান্নামে ’ ।
তারপর ওকে শিকল দিয়ে বাঁধ- সত্তর হাত দীর্ঘ এক শিকলে ,
নিশ্চয় সে মহান আল্লাহর প্রতি ঈমানদার ছিল না ,
আর অভাবগ্রস্তকে খাদ্যদানে উৎসাহিত করত না ।
অতএব আজ এখানে তার কোন অন্তরঙ্গ বন্ধু থাকবে না ।
এবং কোন খাদ্য থাকবে না ক্ষতনিঃসৃত পুঁজ ব্যতীত ।
যা অপরাধী ছাড়া কেউ খাবে না ।

The Inevitable Reality .
What is the Inevitable Reality ?
And what can make you know what is the Inevitable Reality ?
Thamud and 'Aad denied the Striking Calamity .
So as for Thamud , they were destroyed by the overpowering [blast].
And as for 'Aad , they were destroyed by a screaming , violent wind
Which Allah imposed upon them for seven nights and eight days in succession , so you would see the people therein fallen as if they were hollow trunks of palm trees.
Then do you see of them any remains ? -And there came Pharaoh and those before him and the overturned cities with sin.
And they disobeyed the messenger of their Lord, so He seized them with a seizure exceeding [in severity].
Indeed, when the water overflowed, We carried your ancestors in the sailing ship
That We might make it for you a reminder and [that] a conscious ear would be conscious of it.
Then when the Horn is blown with one blast
And the earth and the mountains are lifted and leveled with one blow
Then on that Day, the Resurrection will occur,
And the heaven will split [open], for that Day it is infirm .
And the angels are at its edges . And there will bear the Throne of your Lord above them , that Day , eight [of them] .
That Day , you will be exhibited [for judgement] ; not hidden among you is anything concealed .
So as for he who is given his record in his right hand , he will say , " Here , read my record !
Indeed , I was certain that I would be meeting my account ."
So he will be in a pleasant life
In an elevated garden ,
Its [fruit] to be picked hanging near .
[They will be told] , " Eat and drink in satisfaction for what you put forth in the days past ."
But as for he who is given his record in his left hand , he will say , " Oh , I wish I had not been given my record
And had not known what is my account .
I wish my death had been the decisive one .
My wealth has not availed me .
Gone from me is my authority .
[Allah will say] , " Seize him and shackle him .
Then into Hellfire drive him .
Then into a chain whose length is seventy cubits insert him ."
Indeed , he did not used to believe in Allah , the Most Great ,
Nor did he encourage the feeding of the poor .
So there is not for him here this Day any devoted friend
Nor any food except from the discharge of wounds ;
None will eat it except the sinners .

Surah 70 | Al-Ma'arij | আল-মা'আরিজ | Verse: 1 - 18

এক ব্যক্তি চাইল, সংঘটিত হোক অবধারিত শাস্তি ।
অবিশ্বাসীদের জন্য , এটা প্রতিরোধ করবার কেউ নেই।ক ব্যক্তি চাইল , সংঘটিত হোক শাস্তি যা অবধারিত ।
এটা আসবে আল্লাহর কাছ থেকে , যিনি উর্ধ্বারোহনের সোপানসমূহের অধিকারী ।
ফেরেশতা এবং রূহ আল্লাহর দিকে উর্ধ্বগামী হয় এমন একদিনে , যা পার্থিব পঞ্চাশ হাজার বৎসরের সমান ।
কাজেই আপনি ধৈর্য ধারণ করুন পরম ধৈৰ্য ।
তারা ঐ দিনটিকে সুদূর মনে করছে ,
কিন্তু আমরা দেখছি তা আসন্ন ।
সেদিন আকাশ হবে গলিত ধাতুর মত ,
এবং পর্বতসমূহ হবে রঙ্গীন পশমের মত ,
আর অন্তরঙ্গ বন্ধু অন্তরঙ্গ বন্ধুকে জিজ্ঞাসা করবে না ।
(যদিও) তাদেরকে একে অপরের দৃষ্টির সামনে রাখা হবে । অপরাধী সেই দিনে শাস্তির বদলে দিতে চাইবে নিজ সন্তান-সন্ততিকে ।
আর তার স্ত্রী ও ভাইকে ,
আর তার জ্ঞাতি-গোষ্ঠীকে , যারা তাকে আশ্রয় দিত ,
এবং পৃথিবীর সকলকে , যাতে এই মুক্তিপণ তাকে মুক্তি দেয় ।
না , কখনই নয় ! এটা তো লেলিহান অগ্নি ।
যা দেহ হতে চামড়া খসিয়ে দেবে ।
জাহান্নাম সে ব্যক্তিকে ডাকবে , যে সত্যের প্রতি পিঠ দেখিয়েছিল এবং মুখ ফিরিয়ে নিয়েছিল ।
আর যে সম্পদ পুঞ্জীভূত করেছিল অতঃপর সংরক্ষিত করে রেখেছিল ।

A supplicant asked for a punishment bound to happen
To the disbelievers ; of it there is no preventer .
[It is] from Allah , owner of the ways of ascent .
The angels and the Spirit will ascend to Him during a Day the extent of which is fifty thousand years .
So be patient with gracious patience .
Indeed , they see it [as] distant ,
But We see it [as] near .
On the Day the sky will be like murky oil,
And the mountains will be like wool ,
And no friend will ask [anything of] a friend ,
They will be shown each other . The criminal will wish that he could be ransomed from the punishment of that Day by his children
And his wife and his brother
And his nearest kindred who shelter him
And whoever is on earth entirely [so] then it could save him .
No ! Indeed , it is the Flame [of Hell] ,
A remover of exteriors .
It invites he who turned his back [on truth] and went away [ from obedience ]
And collected [wealth] and hoarded .

Surah 83 | Al-Mutaffifin | আল-মুতাফফিফীন | Verse: 1 - 3

মন্দ পরিণাম তাদের জন্য যারা মাপে কম দেয়, যারা লোকের নিকট হতে মেপে নেয়ার সময় পূর্ণ মাত্রায় গ্রহণ করে। এবং যখন তাদের জন্য মেপে অথবা ওজন করে দেয় তখন কম দেয়।
Woe to those who give less [than due], Who, when they take a measure from people, take in full. But if they give by measure or by weight to them, they cause loss.

Surah 89 | Al-Fajr | আল-ফাজর | Verse: 14 - 30

নিশ্চয় আপনার রব সতর্ক দৃষ্টি রাখেন।
আর মানুষ তো এমন যে, যখন তার রব তাকে পরীক্ষা করেন, অতঃপর তাকে সম্মান দান করেন এবং অনুগ্রহ প্রদান করেন, তখন সে বলে, ‘আমার রব আমাকে সম্মানিত করেছেন।
এবং আবার যখন তাকে পরীক্ষা করেন, তারপর তার রুযী সংকুচিত করেন, তখন সে বলে, ‘আমার প্রতিপালক আমাকে অপমানিত করেছেন।
কখনো নয়, বরং তোমরা ইয়াতীমদের দয়া-অনুগ্রহ প্রদর্শন কর না।
এবং তোমরা মিসকীনকে খাদ্যদানে পরস্পরকে উৎসাহিত কর না ।
আর তোমরা উত্তরাধিকারের সম্পদ সম্পূর্ণরূপে আত্মসাৎ করে থাক ।
এবং তোমরা ধন-সম্পদকে অত্যধিক ভালোবেসে থাক।
এটা মোটেই ঠিক নয়, যখন পৃথিবীকে চূর্ণ-বিচূর্ণ করা হবে ,
এবং যখন আপনার রব আগমন করবেন ও সারিবদ্ধভাবে ফেরেশতাগণও ,
আর সেদিন জাহান্নামকে আনা হবে সেদিন মানুষ স্মরণ করবে, তখন এ স্মরণ তার কি কাজে আসবে ?
সে বলবে, হায়! আমার এ জীবনের জন্য আমি যদি কিছু অগ্রিম পাঠাতাম?
সেদিন তাঁর (আল্লাহর) শাস্তির মত শাস্তি অন্য কেউ দিতে পারবে না।
এবং তাঁর বাঁধনের মত কেউ বাঁধতে পারবে না।
(অপর দিকে নেককার লোককে বলা হবে) হে প্রশান্ত আত্মা!
তুমি ফিরে এসো তোমার রবের প্রতি সন্তুষ্টচিত্তে, সন্তোষভাজন হয়ে।
অতঃপর আমার (নেক) বান্দাহদের মধ্যে শামিল হও ।
এবং আমার জান্নাতে প্রবেশ কর।

Indeed, your Lord is in observation.
And as for man, when his Lord tries him and [thus] is generous to him and favors him, he says, "My Lord has honored me."
But when He tries him and restricts his provision, he says, "My Lord has humiliated me."
No! But you do not honor the orphan
And you do not encourage one another to feed the poor.
And you consume inheritance, devouring [it] altogether,
And you love wealth with immense love.
No! When the earth has been leveled - pounded and crushed
And your Lord has come and the angels, rank upon rank,
And brought [within view], that Day, is Hell - that Day, man will remember, but what good to him will be the remembrance?
He will say, "Oh, I wish I had sent ahead [some good] for my life."
So on that Day, none will punish [as severely] as His punishment,
And none will bind [as severely] as His binding [of the evildoers].
[To the righteous it will be said], "O reassured soul,
Return to your Lord, well-pleased and pleasing [to Him],
And enter among My [righteous] servants
And enter My Paradise."

Surah 90 | Al-Balad | আল-বালাদ | Verse: 4 - 20

নিঃসন্দেহে আমরা মানুষকে সৃষ্টি করেছি কষ্ট-ক্লেশের মধ্যে। (দুনিয়ার প্রত্যেকটি মানুষ কোন না কোন কষ্টের মধ্যে পতিত আছে)।
সে কি মনে করে যে, কখনো তার উপর কেউ ক্ষমতাবান হবে না?
সে বলে, ‘আমি প্রচুর ধন-সম্পদ নিঃশেষ করেছি’।
সে কি মনে করে যে, তাকে কেউ দেখেনি?
আমরা কি তার জন্য সৃষ্টি করিনি দুচোখ?
আর জিহ্বা ও দুই ঠোঁট?
আর আমরা তাকে দেখিয়েছি দুটি পথ।
কিন্তু সে গিরি সংকটে প্রবেশ করল না।
আর কিসে আপনাকে জানাবে—বন্ধুর গিরিপথ কী?
এটা হচ্ছেঃ দাসমুক্তি ।
অথবা দুর্ভিক্ষের দিনে খাদ্যদান ।
ইয়াতীম আত্মীয়-স্বজনকে।
অথবা দারিদ্র-নিষ্পেষিত নিঃস্বকে,
অতঃপর সে তাদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হয়ে যায়, যারা ঈমান এনেছে এবং পরস্পরকে উপদেশ দেয় ধৈর্যধারণের, আর পরস্পরকে উপদেশ দেয় দয়া-অনুগ্রহের।
তারাই সৌভাগ্যশালী।
আর যারা আমাদের আয়াতসমূহে কুফরী করেছে, তারাই হতভাগ্য।
তারা পরিবেষ্টিত হবে অবরুদ্ধ আগুনে।

We have certainly created man into hardship.
Does he think that never will anyone overcome him?
He says, "I have spent wealth in abundance."
Does he think that no one has seen him?
Have We not made for him two eyes?
And a tongue and two lips?
And have shown him the two ways?
But he has not broken through the difficult pass.
And what can make you know what is [breaking through] the difficult pass?
It is the freeing of a slave .
Or feeding on a day of severe hunger
An orphan of near relationship
Or a needy person in misery
And then being among those who believed and advised one another to patience and advised one another to compassion.
Those are the companions of the right .
But they who disbelieved in Our signs - those are the companions of the left.
Over them will be fire closed in.

Surah 92 | Al-Lail | আল-লাইল | Verse: 1 - 21

শপথ রাতের, যখন সে আচ্ছন্ন করে, [ আলোকে ঢেকে দেয় ]
শপথ দিনের, যখন তা উদ্ভাসিত হয় । [ রাতের অন্ধকার দূরীভূত হয় ]
আর শপথ তাঁর যিনি সৃষ্টি করেছেন পুরুষ ও নারী,
অবশ্যই তোমাদের কর্মপ্রচেষ্টা বিভিন্নমুখী।
কাজেই যে কেউ দান করে ও আল্লাহকে ভয় করে,
এবং যা উত্তম তা সত্য বলে গ্ৰহণ করে,
আমরা তার জন্য সুগম করে দেব সহজ পথ।
পক্ষান্তরে যে কার্পণ্য করে ও নিজেকে স্বয়ংসম্পূর্ণ মনে করে।
আর সৎ বিষয়কে মিথ্যা জ্ঞান করে,
অচিরেই তার জন্য আমরা সুগম করে দেব (জাহান্নামের) কঠোর পরিণামের পথ ।
আর তার ধন-সম্পদ কোনই কাজে আসবে না , যখন সে ধ্বংস হবে ।
নিশ্চয় আমাদের কাজ শুধু পথনির্দেশ করা ,
আর অবশ্যই আমার অধিকারে পরকাল ও ইহকাল ।
অতএব আমি তোমাদের সতর্ক করে দিয়েছি লেলিহান আগুন সম্পর্কে,
তাতে প্রবেশ করবে সে-ই, যে নিতান্ত হতভাগ্য,
যে মিথ্যারোপ করে ও মুখ ফিরিয়ে নেয়।
আর তা থেকে দূরে রাখা হবে পরম মুত্তাকীকে , [ জাহান্নাম থেকে ]
যে স্বীয় সম্পদ দান করে আত্মশুদ্ধির জন্য ,
এবং তার প্রতি কারো কোন অনুগ্রহের প্রতিদানে নয়।
কেবল তার মহান রবের সন্তুষ্টির প্রত্যাশায়।
আর অচিরেই সে সন্তুষ্ট হবে ।

By the night when it covers
And [by] the day when it appears
And [by] He who created the male and female,
Indeed, your efforts are diverse .
As for he who gives and fears Allah
And believes in the best [reward],
We will ease him toward ease.
But as for he who withholds and considers himself free of need
And denies the best [reward],
We will ease him toward difficulty.
And what will his wealth avail him when he falls?
Indeed, [incumbent] upon Us is guidance.
And indeed, to Us belongs the Hereafter and the first [life].
So I have warned you of a Fire which is blazing.
None will [enter to] burn therein except the most wretched one.
Who had denied and turned away.
But the righteous one will avoid it
[He] who gives [from] his wealth to purify himself
And not [giving] for anyone who has [done him] a favor to be rewarded
But only seeking the countenance of his Lord, Most High.
And he is going to be satisfied.

Surah 93 | Ad-Dhuha | আদ-দুহা | Verse: 1 - 11

শপথ সকালের উজ্জ্বল আলোর
শপথ রাতের যখন তা অন্ধকারাচ্ছন্ন হয়।
আপনার রব আপনাকে পরিত্যাগ করেন নি এবং অসন্তুষ্টও হননি।
আর অবশ্যই আপনার জন্য পরবর্তী সময় [ পরকাল ] পূর্ববর্তী সময়ের চেয়ে উত্তম ।
আর অচিরেই আপনার রব আপনাকে অনুগ্রহ দান করবেন, ফলে আপনি সন্তুষ্ট হবেন ।
তিনি কি আপনাকে ইয়াতীম অবস্থায় পান নি? অতঃপর তিনি আশ্রয় দিয়েছেন ;
আর তিনি আপনাকে পেয়েছেন পথ না জানা অবস্থায়। অতঃপর তিনি পথনির্দেশ দিয়েছেন ।
আর তিনি আপনাকে পেলেন নিঃস্ব অবস্থায়, অতঃপর অভাবমুক্ত করলেন ,
কাজেই আপনি ইয়াতীমের প্রতি কঠোর হবেন না ।
আর সওয়ালকারীকে ভৎর্সনা করনা।
আর আপনি আপনার রবের অনুগ্রহের কথা জানিয়ে দিন।

By the morning brightness
And [by] the night when it covers with darkness,
Your Lord has not taken leave of you, [O Muhammad], nor has He detested [you].
And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life].
And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied.
Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge?
And He found you lost and guided [you],
And He found you poor and made [you] self-sufficient.
So as for the orphan, do not oppress [him].
And as for the petitioner, do not repel [him].
But as for the favor of your Lord, report [it].

Surah 100 | Al-Adiyat | আল-আদিয়াত | Verse: 8 - 11

এবং অবশ্যই সে ধন-সম্পদের আসক্তিতে অত্যন্ত প্রবল। তবে কি সে জানে না যখন কবরে যা আছে তা উত্থিত হবে, আর অন্তরে যা (কিছু লুকানো) আছে তা প্রকাশ করা হবে, নিঃসন্দেহে তাদের প্রতিপালক সেদিন তাদের সম্পর্কে পুরোপুরি অবহিত থাকবেন।
And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense.But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered, And that within the breasts is obtained, Indeed, their Lord with them, that Day, is [fully] Acquainted.

Surah 102 | At-Takathur | আত-তাকাসুর | Verse: 1 - 8

প্রাচুর্যের প্রতিযোগিতা তোমাদেরকে মোহাচ্ছন্ন করে রেখেছে। এমনকি (এ অবস্থাতেই) তোমরা কবরে এসে পড় । (তোমরা যে ভুল ধারণায় ডুবে আছো তা) মোটেই ঠিক নয়, শীঘ্রই তোমরা জানতে পারবে, আবার বলি, মোটেই ঠিক নয়, শীঘ্রই তোমরা জানতে পারবে। কক্ষনো না, তোমরা যদি নিশ্চিত জ্ঞানের ভিত্তিতে জানতে! (তাহলে সাবধান হয়ে যেতে) । তোমরা অবশ্য অবশ্যই জাহান্নাম দেখতে পাবে, আবার বলি, তোমরা তা অবশ্য অবশ্যই দিব্য দৃষ্টিতে দেখতে পাবে, তারপর তোমাদেরকে অবশ্য অবশ্যই (যা কিছু দেয়া হয়েছে এমন সব) নি‘মাত সম্পর্কে সেদিন জিজ্ঞেস করা হবে।
Competition in [worldly] increase diverts you. Until you visit the graveyards. No! You are going to know. Then no! You are going to know. No! If you only knew with knowledge of certainty. You will surely see the Hellfire. Then you will surely see it with the eye of certainty. Then you will surely be asked that Day about pleasure.

Surah 104 | Al-Humaza | আল-হুমাজাহ | Verse: 1 - 9

দুর্ভোগ প্রত্যেকের যে সামনে নিন্দাকারী ও পেছনে গীবতকারী। যে সম্পদ জমা করে এবং বার বার গণনা করে। সে মনে করে তার সম্পদ তাকে চিরজীবি করবে। কখনো নয়, অবশ্যই সে নিক্ষিপ্ত হবে হুতামা’য়। আর কিসে তোমাকে জানাবে হুতামা কি? আল্লাহর প্রজ্জ্বলিত আগুন। যা হৃৎপিন্ড পর্যন্ত পৌঁছে যাবে। তা তাদেরকে চতুর্দিক থেকে পরিবেষ্টন করে রাখবে, (লেলিহান অগ্নিশিখার) উঁচু উঁচু স্তম্ভে।
Woe to every scorner and mocker, Who collects wealth and [continuously] counts it. He thinks that his wealth will make him immortal. No! He will surely be thrown into the Crusher. And what can make you know what is the Crusher? It is the fire of Allah, [eternally] fueled, Which mounts directed at the hearts. Indeed, Hellfire will be closed down upon them, In extended columns.
