যে ব্যক্তি ভাল কাজের জন্য সুপারিশ করবে, তার জন্য তাতে (সাওয়াবের) অংশ আছে এবং যে মন্দ কাজের জন্য সুপারিশ করবে, তার জন্য তাতে অংশ আছে । আর আল্লাহ সব কিছুর উপর নজর রাখেন । | সূরাঃ ৪ , আন-নিসা , আয়াতঃ : ৮৫ | Whoever intercedes for a good cause will have a reward therefrom; and whoever intercedes for an evil cause will have a burden therefrom. "হাওয়ারী" (Arabic: حواري, transliterated: Hawari) শব্দটি মূলত ঈসা (আঃ)-এর অনুসারী বা ঘনিষ্ঠ সাহচর্যপ্রাপ্ত সাথীদের বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
- হাওয়ারীরা ছিলেন ঈসা (আঃ)-এর ঘনিষ্ঠ ১২ জন শিষ্য, যারা তাকে সমর্থন ও সহায়তা করেছিলেন।
- তাঁরা সত্য ও আল্লাহর পথে ঈসা (আঃ)-এর সঙ্গে থেকে তার দাওয়াহ (দাওয়াত) কার্যক্রমে অংশগ্রহণ করেছিলেন।
- যদিও কুরআনে তাদের নাম উল্লেখ নেই, তাফসীর ও ইতিহাসবিদদের সূত্রে তারা খ্রিষ্টধর্মের "Apostles" বা "Disciples" হিসেবে পরিচিত। নিচে তাদের নাম এবং সংক্ষিপ্ত পরিচয় দেওয়া হলো:
সাইমন পেতর (Simon Peter) – যিনি "পিতর" নামেও পরিচিত। একজন জেলে ছিলেন এবং তাঁকে প্রধান শিষ্য মনে করা হয়। নেতৃত্ব ও সাহসিকতার জন্য খ্যাত।
এন্ড্রু (Andrew) – পেতরের ভাই ও তিনিও একজন জেলে ছিলেন। প্রথম দিকেই ঈসা (আঃ)-এর অনুসারী হন।
ইয়াকুব (যেবেদির পুত্র) [James, son of Zebedee] – ঈসা (আঃ)-এর ঘনিষ্ঠ একজন, যোহনের ভাই। অনেক গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ঘটনায় তাঁর সঙ্গে ছিলেন।
যোহন (John, son of Zebedee) – ইয়াকুবের ভাই। ভালোবাসা ও আনুগত্যের জন্য পরিচিত। প্রচলিত মতে, ইঞ্জিল যোহনের লেখক তিনিই।
ফিলিপ (Philip) – চিন্তাশীল ও কৌতূহলী ছিলেন, অন্যদের ঈসা (আঃ)-এর কাছে নিয়ে আসতেন।
বারথলোমিউ / নাথানিয়েল (Bartholomew / Nathanael) – একজন সৎ ও সরল ব্যক্তি হিসেবে পরিচিত। ঈসা (আঃ) তাঁর সততার প্রশংসা করেন।
থোমাস (Thomas, Didymus) – শুরুতে সন্দেহপ্রবণ ছিলেন (তাঁকে "সন্দেহবাদী থোমাস" বলা হয়), কিন্তু পরে দৃঢ় ঈমান দেখান।
ম্যাথিউ / লেবী (Matthew / Levi) – একজন কর-সংগ্রাহক ছিলেন, পরে ঈসা (আঃ)-এর দাওয়াত গ্রহণ করেন ।
ইয়াকুব (আলফিয়াসের পুত্র) [James, son of Alphaeus] – কখনও কখনও “ছোট ইয়াকুব” নামে পরিচিত, কারণ অন্য ইয়াকুবের সঙ্গে পার্থক্য করার জন্য।
থাদ্দেউস / যাহুদা (Thaddaeus / Jude or Judas, son of James) – শান্ত স্বভাবের শিষ্য ।
সাইমন (উত্সাহী) [Simon the Zealot] – রাজনীতিগতভাবে সক্রিয় ছিলেন এবং সম্ভবত রোম-বিরোধী আন্দোলনের সাথে যুক্ত ছিলেন।
যাহুদা ইস্কারিয়োত (Judas Iscariot) – যিনি ঈসা (আঃ)-এর সঙ্গে বিশ্বাসঘাতকতা করেন। খ্রিষ্টীয় মতে, পরে অনুশোচনায় পড়ে আত্মহত্যা করেন।
The word "Hawari" (Arabic: حواري, transliterated: Hawari) refers to the close companions or devoted followers of Prophet Isa (Jesus, peace be upon him).
- The Hawariyyun were the twelve close disciples of Isa (A.S.) who supported and assisted him.
- They stood by him in truth and participated in his mission of calling people to the path of Allah (da'wah).
- In the Bible and other historical sources, they are known as the "disciples" or "apostles."
Here's the list of the 12 disciples (Hawariyyun) of Prophet Isa (Jesus, peace be upon him) in English, along with brief descriptions based on historical and Biblical sources. Note: These names are not mentioned in the Qur'an, but Islamic scholars recognize them through historical accounts.
1. Simon Peter - Also called “Peter.” A fisherman, considered the chief disciple, known for leadership and courage.
2. Andrew - Brother of Peter, also a fisherman. Among the first to follow Jesus.
3. James (son of Zebedee) - A close companion of Jesus, brother of John. Present at many key events.
4. John (son of Zebedee) - Brother of James, known for love and loyalty. Traditionally seen as the author of the Gospel of John.
5. Philip - Thoughtful and inquisitive, brought others to Jesus.
6. Bartholomew (also called Nathanael) - Honest and straightforward, praised by Jesus for his integrity.
7. Thomas (called Didymus) - Known for initially doubting the resurrection — “Doubting Thomas” — but showed strong faith later.
8. Matthew (also called Levi) - A tax collector before becoming a disciple. Traditionally credited with writing the Gospel of Matthew.
9. James (son of Alphaeus) - Sometimes called “James the Less” to distinguish from James son of Zebedee. Less is known about him.
10. Thaddaeus (also called Jude or Judas son of James) - Often confused with Judas Iscariot. Possibly the author of the Epistle of Jude.
11. Simon the Zealot - Known for being politically zealous before following Jesus. Possibly involved in anti-Roman movements.
12. Judas Iscariot - The disciple who betrayed Jesus. According to Christian sources, he later regretted it and died by suicide.

- আরো স্মরণ করুন, যখন আমি হাওয়ারীদের আদেশ দিয়েছিলাম যে, ‘তোমরা আমার প্রতি ও আমার রাসূলের প্রতি ঈমান আন, তারা বলেছিল “আমরা ঈমান আনলাম এবং আপনি সাক্ষী থাকুন যে, নিশ্চয় আমরা আত্মসমর্পণকারী (মুসলিম)।
- স্মরণ করুন, যখন হাওয়ারীগণ বলেছিল, হে মারইয়াম-তনয় ঈসা! আপনার রব কি আমাদের জন্য আসমান থেকে খাদ্য পরিপূর্ণ খাঞ্চা পাঠাতে সক্ষম? তিনি বলেছিলেন, আল্লাহকে ভয় কর; যদি তোমরা বিশ্বাসী হও ।
- তারা বলেছিল, আমরা চাই যে, তা থ েকে কিছু খাব ও আমাদের চিত্ত প্রশান্তি লাভ করবে। আর আমরা জানব যে, আপনি আমাদেরকে সত্য বলেছেন এবং আমরা এর সাক্ষী থাকতে চাই।
- মারইয়াম-তনয় ঈসা বললেন, হে আল্লাহ আমাদের রব! আমাদের জন্য আসমান থেকে খাদ্যপূর্ণ খাঞ্চা পাঠান; এটা আমাদের ও আমাদের পূর্ববর্তী ও পরবর্তী সবার জন্য হবে আনন্দোৎসব স্বরূপ এবং আপনার কাছ থেকে নিদর্শন। আর আমাদেরকে জীবিকা দান করুন; আপনিই তো শ্রেষ্ঠ জীবিকাদাতা ।
- আল্লাহ বললেন, নিশ্চয় আমি তোমাদের নিকট তা প্রেরণ করব, কিন্তু এরপর যদি তোমাদের কেউ কুফরি করে, তাহলে আমি তাকে এমন শাস্তি দেবো, যা আমি জগৎবাসীদের কাউকেই কখনো দেবো না ।
- And [remember] when I inspired to the Hawari (Disciples), "Believe in Me and in My messenger Jesus." They said, "We have believed, so bear witness that indeed we are Muslims [in submission to Allah]."
- [And remember] when the disciples said, "O Jesus, Son of Mary, can your Lord send down to us a table [spread with food] from the heaven? [Jesus] said," Fear Allah, if you should be believers."
- They said, "We wish to eat from it and let our hearts be reassured and know that you have been truthful to us and be among its witnesses."
- Said Jesus, the son of Mary, "O Allah, our Lord, send down to us a table [spread with food] from the heaven to be for us a festival for the first of us and the last of us and a sign from You. And provide for us, and You are the best of providers."
- Allah said, "Indeed, I will sent it down to you, but whoever disbelieves afterwards from among you - then indeed will I punish him with a punishment by which I have not punished anyone among the worlds."
