যখন একজন মানুষ মারা যায়, তার সব কাজ শেষ হয়ে যায় , তিনটি ব্যতিক্রম ছাড়া: সদকা জারিয়া (চলমান দান) , এমন জ্ঞান যা থেকে উপকার পাওয়া যায়, এবং একটি সৎ সন্তান যে তার জন্য দোয়া করে । | মুহাম্মদ (সাঃ) ; হাদিস - সহিহ মুসলিম | When a person dies, his works end, except for three: ongoing charity, knowledge that is benefited from, and a righteous child who prays for him. | Prophet Mohammed (PBUH); Hadith - Sahih Muslim |
যে ব্যক্তি ভাল কাজের জন্য সুপারিশ করবে, তার জন্য তাতে (সাওয়াবের) অংশ আছে এবং যে মন্দ কাজের জন্য সুপারিশ করবে, তার জন্য তাতে অংশ আছে । আর আল্লাহ সব কিছুর উপর নজর রাখেন । | সূরাঃ ৪ , আন-নিসা , আয়াতঃ : ৮৫ | Whoever intercedes for a good cause will have a reward therefrom; and whoever intercedes for an evil cause will have a burden therefrom. In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
আল্লাহর নামে, যিনি পরম করুণাময়, পরম দয়ালু

Surah 17 | Al-Isra | আল-ইসরা (বনী-ইসরাঈল) | Verse: 86 - 89

আর আমরা ইচ্ছে করলে আপনার প্রতি ওহীর মাধ্যমে যা পাঠিয়েছি তা অবশ্যই নিয়ে নিতে পারতাম ; অতঃপর আপনি এ বিষয়ে আমাদের বিরুদ্ধে কোন কর্মবিধায়ক পেতেন না।
তবে এটা প্রত্যাহার না করা আপনার রাবের দয়া; নিশ্চয় আপনার প্রতি আছে তার মহা অনুগ্রহ।
বলুন, যদি কুরআনের অনুরূপ কুরআন আনার জন্য মানুষ ও জিন সমবেত হয় এবং যদিও তারা পরস্পরকে সাহায্য করে তবুও তারা এর অনুরূপ আনতে পারবে না।
আর অবশ্যই আমরা মানুষের জন্য এ কুরআনে বিভিন্ন উপমা বিশদভাবে বর্ণনা করেছি; কিন্তু অধিকাংশ মানুষ সত্য প্রত্যাখ্যান ব্যতীত ক্ষান্ত হয় না ।

And if We willed, We could surely do away with that which We revealed to you. Then you would not find for yourself concerning it an advocate against Us.
Except [We have left it with you] as a mercy from your Lord. Indeed, His favor upon you has ever been great.
Say, "If mankind and the jinn gathered in order to produce the like of this Qur'an, they could not produce the like of it, even if they were to each other assistants."
And We have certainly diversified for the people in this Qur'an from every [kind] of example, but most of the people refused [anything] except disbelief.

Surah 18 | Al-Kahf | আল-কাহফ | Verse: 50

আর স্মরণ করুন, আমরা যখন ফিরিশতাদেরকে বলেছিলাম, আদমের প্রতি সিজদা কর, তখন তারা সবাই সিজদা করল ইবলীস ছাড়া; সে ছিল জিন্‌দের একজন সে তার রব-এর আদেশ অমান্য করল। তবে কি তোমরা আমার পরিবর্তে তাকে এবং তার বংশধরকে অভিভাবকরূপে গ্রহণ করবে, অথচ তারা তোমাদের শত্রু। যালেমদের বিনিময় কত নিকৃষ্ট!

And [mention] when We said to the angels, "Prostrate to Adam," and they prostrated, except for Iblees. He was of the jinn and departed from the command of his Lord. Then will you take him and his descendants as allies other than Me while they are enemies to you? Wretched it is for the wrongdoers as an exchange.

Surah 25 | Al-Furqan | আল-ফুরকান | Verse: 1 - 2

কত বরকতময় তিনি ! যিনি তাঁর বান্দার উপর ফুরকান (কুরআন) নাযিল করেছেন, সৃষ্টিজগতের জন্য সতর্ককারী হওয়ার জন্য ।
যিনি আসমানসমূহ ও যমীনের সার্বভৌমত্বের অধিকারী; তিনি কোন সন্তান গ্রহণ করেননি; সার্বভৌমত্ত্বে তার কোন শরীক নেই। তিনি সবকিছু সৃষ্টি করেছেন। অতঃপর তা নির্ধারণ করেছেন যথাযথ অনুপাতে।

Blessed is He who sent down the Criterion upon His Servant that he may be to the worlds a warner
He to whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and who has not taken a son and has not had a partner in dominion and has created each thing and determined it with [precise] determination.

Surah 27 | An-Naml | আন-নামাল Verse: 15 - 44

আর অবশ্যই আমরা দাউদ ও সুলাইমানকে জ্ঞান দান করেছিলাম এবং তারা উভয়ে বলেছিলেন, ‘সকল প্রশংসা আল্লাহর যিনি আমাদেরকে তাঁর বহু মুমিন বান্দাদের উপর শ্রেষ্ঠত্ব দিয়েছেন।
আর সুলাইমান হয়েছিলেন দাউদের উত্তরাধিকারী এবং তিনি বলেছিলেন, হে মানুষ! আমাদেরকে পাখিদের ভাষা শিক্ষা দেয়া হয়েছে এবং আমাদেরকে সবকিছু দেয়া হয়েছে, এটা অবশ্যই সুস্পষ্ট অনুগ্রহ।
আর সুলাইমানের সামনে সমবেত করা হল তার বাহিনীকে — জিন মানুষ ও পক্ষীকুলকে এবং তাদেরকে বিন্যস্ত করা বিভিন্ন ব্যূহে।
অবশেষে যখন তারা পিপড়া অধ্যুষিত উপত্যকায় পৌছল তখন এক পিপড়া বলল, হে পিপড়া-বাহিনী! তোমরা তোমাদের ঘরে প্রবেশ কর, যেন সুলাইমান এবং তার বাহিনী তাদের অজ্ঞাতসারে তোমাদেরকে পায়ের নীচে পিষে না ফেলে।
অতঃপর সুলাইমান তার এ কথাতে মৃদু হাসলেন এবং বললেন, হে আমার রব! আপনি আমাকে সামর্থ্য দিন যাতে আমি আপনার প্রতি কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করতে পারি, আমার প্রতি ও আমার পিতামাতার প্রতি আপনি যে অনুগ্রহ করেছেন তার জন্য এবং যাতে আমি এমন সৎকাজ করতে পারি যা আপনি পছন্দ করেন । আর আপনার অনুগ্রহে আমাকে আপনার সৎকর্মপরায়ণ বান্দাদের শামিল করুন
আর সুলাইমান পাখিদের সন্ধান নিলেন এবং বললেন, আমার কি হলো যে, আমি হুদহুদকে দেখছি না! না কি সে অনুপস্থিত?
আমি তাকে অবশ্য অবশ্যই শাস্তি দেব কঠিন শাস্তি কিংবা তাকে অবশ্য অবশ্যই হত্যা করব অথবা সে অবশ্য অবশ্যই আমাকে তার (অনুপস্থিতির) উপযুক্ত কারণ দর্শাবে।’
অতঃপর কিছুক্ষণ পরেই হুদাহুদ এসে পড়ল এবং বলল, ‘আমি যা অবগত হয়েছি আপনি তা অবগত নন, আমি সাবা থেকে আপনার জন্য নিশ্চিত খবর নিয়ে এসেছি’।
‘আমি এক নারীকে দেখতে পেলাম, সে তাদের উপর রাজত্ব করছে। তাকে দেয়া হয়েছে সব কিছু। আর তার আছে এক বিশাল সিংহাসন’।
আমি তাকে ও তার সম্প্রদায়কে দেখলাম তারা আল্লাহর পরিবর্তে সূর্যকে সিজদা করছে। আর শয়তান তাদের কার্যাবলী তাদের কাছে সুশোভিত করে দিয়েছে এবং তাদেরকে সৎপথ থেকে বাধাগ্রস্থ করেছে, ফলে তারা সৎপথ পাচ্ছেনা;
যাতে তারা আল্লাহকে সিজদা না করে, যিনি আসমান ও যমীনের লুকায়িত বস্তুকে বের করেন। আর যিনি জানেন, যা তোমরা গোপন কর এবং যা তোমরা ব্যক্ত কর।
আল্লাহ, তিনি ছাড়া সত্য কোন ইলাহ নেই, তিনি মহা আরশের রব। [সাজদাহ] ۩
সুলাইমান বললেন, খন আমি দেখব, তুমি সত্য বলেছ, না তুমি মিথ্যেবাদী।
‘তুমি আমার এ পত্র নিয়ে যাও। অতঃপর এটা তাদের কাছে নিক্ষেপ কর, তারপর তাদের কাছ থেকে সরে থাক এবং দেখ, তারা কী জবাব দেয়’?
সে নারী (সাবা’র রানী বিল্‌কীস) বলল, ‘হে পারিষদবর্গ! আমাকে এক সম্মানিত পত্র দেওয়া হয়েছে;
‘নিশ্চয় এটা সুলাইমানের পক্ষ থেকে। আর নিশ্চয় এটা পরম করুণাময় পরম দয়ালু আল্লাহর নামে’।
যাতে তোমরা আমার বিরোধিতার ঔদ্ধত্য প্রকাশ না করো এবং আনুগত্য স্বীকার করে (মুসলমান হয়ে) আমার কাছে উপস্থিত হও ।
সে নারী (বিলকীস) বলল, ওহে সভাসদরা! তোমরা আমার কর্তব্য সম্পর্কে আমাকে সিদ্ধান্ত দাও। তোমাদের উপস্থিতি ব্যতীত আমি কোন ব্যাপারে সিদ্ধান্ত গ্রহণ করিনি।’
তারা বললঃ আমরাতো শক্তিশালী ও কঠোর যোদ্ধা; তবে সিদ্ধান্ত গ্রহণের ক্ষমতা আপনারই । কি আদেশ করবেন তা আপনি ভেবে দেখুন। ।
সে বলল, রাজা-বাদশাহরা যখন কোন জনপদে প্রবেশ করে তখন তো সেটাকে বিপর্যস্ত করে দেয় এবং সেখানকার মর্যাদাবান ব্যক্তিদেরকে অপদস্ত করে, আর এরূপ করাই তাদের রীতি ;
আমি তার নিকট উপঢৌকন পাঠাচ্ছি; দেখি, দূতেরা কি উত্তর আনে।’
অতঃপর দূত সুলাইমানের কাছে আসলে সুলাইমান বললেন, তোমরা কি আমাকে ধন-সম্পদ দিয়ে সাহায্য করছ? আল্লাহ্‌ আমাকে যা দিয়েছেন, তা তোমাদেরকে যা দিয়েছেন তার চেয়ে উৎকৃষ্ট বরং তোমরাই তোমাদের উপঢৌকন নিয়ে আনন্দ কর ।
তাদের কাছে ফিরে যাও, অতঃপর আমরা অবশ্যই তাদের বিরুদ্ধে নিয়ে আসব এক সৈন্য বাহিনী যার মুকাবিলা করার শক্তি তাদের নেই। আর আমরা অবশ্যই তাদেরকে সেখান থেকে বহিস্কৃত করব লাঞ্ছিতভাবে এবং তারা হবে অপদস্থ।
সুলাইমান বললেন, হে পরিষদবর্গ! তারা আত্মসমর্পণ করে আমার কাছে আসার আগে তোমাদের মধ্যে কে তার সিংহাসন আমার কাছে নিয়ে আসবে?
এক শক্তিশালী জিন বলল, আপনি আপনার স্থান থেকে উঠার আগেই আমি তা এনে দেব এবং এ ব্যাপারে আমি অবশ্যই শক্তিমান, বিশ্বস্ত।
কিতাবের জ্ঞান যার ছিল (তাওরাতের) , সে বলল, আপনি চোখের পলক ফেলার আগেই আমি তা আপনাকে এনে দেব। অতঃপর সুলাইমান যখন তা সামনে স্থির অবস্থায় দেখলেন তখন তিনি বললেন, এ আমার রব-এর অনুগ্রহ, যাতে তিনি আমাকে পরীক্ষা করেন যে, আমি কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করি, না অকৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করি। আর যে কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করে, সে তো কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করে নিজেরই কল্যাণের জন্য, আর যে কেউ অকৃতজ্ঞ হবে, সে জেনে রাখুক যে, আমার রব অভাবমুক্ত, মহানুভব।
সুলাইমান বললেন, তোমরা তার সিংহাসনের আকৃতি পরিবর্তন করে দাও। দেখব সে সঠিক দিশা পায় নাকি তাদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হয়ে পড়ে, যারা সঠিক দিশা পায় না’
অতঃপর সে (বিলকীস) যখন আসল, তখন তাকে জিজ্ঞেস করা হল, তোমার সিংহাসন কি এরূপই? সে বলল, ‘এটা যেন সেটাই! আমরা ইতিপূর্বেই সমস্ত কিছুই অবগত হয়েছি এবং আত্মসমর্পণকারী (মুসলমান) হয়েছি।’
আর আল্লাহর পরিবর্তে সে যার পূজা করত, তাই তাকে সত্য হতে নিবৃত্ত করেছিল, সে ছিল সত্য প্রত্যাখ্যানকারী সম্প্রদায়ের অন্তর্ভুক্ত ।
তাকে বলা হল, প্রাসাদটিতে প্রবেশ কর। অতঃপর যখন সে সেটা দেখল তখন সে সেটাকে এক গভীর জলাশয় মনে করল এবং সে তার পায়ের গোছা দুটো অনাবৃত করল। সুলাইমান বললেন, এটা তো স্বচ্ছ স্ফটিক মণ্ডিত প্রাসাদ। সেই নারী (বিলকীস) বলল, হে আমার রব! আমি তো নিজের প্রতি যুলুম করেছিলাম , আর আমি সুলাইমানের সাথে সৃষ্টিকুলের রব আল্লাহর নিকট আত্মসমর্পণ করলাম (মুসলমান হলাম)।

And We had certainly given to David and Solomon knowledge, and they said, "Praise [is due] to Allah, who has favored us over many of His believing servants."
And Solomon inherited David. He said, "O people, we have been taught the language of birds, and we have been given from all things. Indeed, this is evident bounty."
And gathered for Solomon were his soldiers of the jinn and men and birds, and they were [marching] in rows.
Until, when they came upon the valley of the ants, an ant said, "O ants, enter your dwellings that you not be crushed by Solomon and his soldiers while they perceive not."
So [Solomon] smiled, amused at her speech, and said, "My Lord, enable me to be grateful for Your favor which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents and to do righteousness of which You approve. And admit me by Your mercy into [the ranks of] Your righteous servants."
And he took attendance of the birds and said, "Why do I not see the hoopoe - or is he among the absent?
I will surely punish him with a severe punishment or slaughter him unless he brings me clear authorization."
But the hoopoe stayed not long and said, "I have encompassed [in knowledge] that which you have not encompassed, and I have come to you from Sheba with certain news.
Indeed, I found [there] a woman ruling them, and she has been given of all things, and she has a great throne.
I found her and her people prostrating to the sun instead of Allah, and Satan has made their deeds pleasing to them and averted them from [His] way, so they are not guided,
[And] so they do not prostrate to Allah, who brings forth what is hidden within the heavens and the earth and knows what you conceal and what you declare
Allah - there is no deity except Him, Lord of the Great Throne." [Sajdah] ۩
[Solomon] said, "We will see whether you were truthful or were of the liars.
Take this letter of mine and deliver it to them. Then leave them and see what [answer] they will return."
She said, "O eminent ones, indeed, to me has been delivered a noble letter.
Indeed, it is from Solomon, and indeed, it reads: 'In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful,
Be not haughty with me but come to me in submission [as Muslims].' "
She said, "O eminent ones, advise me in my affair. I would not decide a matter until you witness [for] me."
They said, "We are men of strength and of great military might, but the command is yours, so see what you will command."
She said, "Indeed kings - when they enter a city, they ruin it and render the honored of its people humbled. And thus do they do.
But indeed, I will send to them a gift and see with what [reply] the messengers will return."
So when they came to Solomon, he said, "Do you provide me with wealth? But what Allah has given me is better than what He has given you. Rather, it is you who rejoice in your gift.
Return to them, for we will surely come to them with soldiers that they will be powerless to encounter, and we will surely expel them therefrom in humiliation, and they will be debased."
[Solomon] said, "O assembly [of jinn], which of you will bring me her throne before they come to me in submission?"
A powerful one from among the jinn said, "I will bring it to you before you rise from your place, and indeed, I am for this [task] strong and trustworthy."
Said one who had knowledge ( Torah ) from the Scripture, "I will bring it to you before your glance returns to you." And when [Solomon] saw it placed before him, he said, "This is from the favor of my Lord to test me whether I will be grateful or ungrateful. And whoever is grateful - his gratitude is only for [the benefit of] himself. And whoever is ungrateful - then indeed, my Lord is Free of need and Generous."
He said, "Disguise for her her throne; we will see whether she will be guided [to truth] or will be of those who is not guided."
So when she arrived, it was said [to her], "Is your throne like this?" She said, "[It is] as though it was it." [Solomon said], "And we were given knowledge before her, and we have been Muslims [in submission to Allah].
And that which she was worshipping other than Allah had averted her [from submission to Him]. Indeed, she was from a disbelieving people."
She was told, "Enter the palace." But when she saw it, she thought it was a body of water and uncovered her shins [to wade through]. He said, "Indeed, it is a palace [whose floor is] made smooth with glass." She said, "My Lord, indeed I have wronged myself, and I submit with Solomon to Allah, Lord of the worlds."

Surah 34 | Saba | সাবা | Verse: 10 - 14

আর অবশ্যই আমরা আমাদের পক্ষ থেকে দাউদকে দিয়েছিলাম মর্যাদা এবং আদেশ করেছিলাম , হে পর্বতমালা ! তোমরা দাউদের সাথে বার বার আমার পবিত্ৰতা ঘোষণা কর এবং পাখিদেরকেও । আর তার জন্য আমরা নরম করে দিয়েছিলাম লোহা ।
(এ নির্দেশ দিয়ে যে) আপনি পূর্ণ মাপের বর্ম তৈরী করুন এবং ওগুলির কড়াসমূহ যথাযথভাবে সংযুক্ত করুন । আর তোমরা সৎকাজ কর, নিশ্চয় তোমরা যা কিছু কর আমি তার সম্যক দ্রষ্টা ।
আর সুলাইমানের জন্য আমরা বাতাসকে অনুগত করে দিয়েছিলাম , যা ভোরে একমাসের পথ অতিক্রম করত ও সন্ধ্যায় একমাসের পথ অতিক্রম করত । আমরা তার জন্য গলিত তামার এক প্রস্রবণ প্রবাহিত করেছিলাম এবং তার রবের অনুমতিক্রমে জিনদের কিছু সংখ্যক তার সামনে কাজ করত । আর তাদের মধ্যে যে আমাদের নির্দেশ অমান্য করে , তাকে আমরা জ্বলন্ত আগুনের শান্তি আস্বাদন করাব ।
তারা সুলাইমানের ইচ্ছানুযায়ী তার জন্য প্রাসাদ , ভাস্কর্য, হাউজসদৃশ বৃহদাকার পাত্র এবং সুদৃঢ়ভাবে স্থাপিত ডেগ নির্মাণ করত । হে দাউদ পরিবার ! কৃতজ্ঞতার সাথে তোমরা কাজ করতে থাক। আর আমার বান্দাদের মধ্যে অল্পই কৃতজ্ঞ !
অতঃপর যখন আমরা সুলাইমানের মৃত্যু ঘটালাম , তখন জিনদেরকে তার মৃত্যুর খবর জানাল শুধু মাটির পোকা , যা তার লাঠি খাচ্ছিল । অতঃপর যখন তিনি পড়ে গেলেন তখন জিনরা বুঝতে পারল যে, যদি তারা গায়েব জানত , তাহলে তারা লাঞ্ছনাদায়ক শাস্তিতে আবদ্ধ থাকত না ।

And We certainly gave David from Us bounty. [We said], "O mountains, repeat [Our] praises with him, and the birds [as well]." And We made pliable for him iron,
[Commanding him], "Make full coats of mail and calculate [precisely] the links, and work [all of you] righteousness. Indeed I, of what you do, am Seeing."
And to Solomon [We subjected] the wind - its morning [journey was that of] a month - and its afternoon [journey was that of] a month, and We made flow for him a spring of [liquid] copper. And among the jinn were those who worked for him by the permission of his Lord. And whoever deviated among them from Our command - We will make him taste of the punishment of the Blaze.
They made for him what he willed of elevated chambers, statues, bowls like reservoirs, and stationary kettles. [We said], "Work, O family of David, in gratitude." And few of My servants are grateful.
And when We decreed for Solomon death, nothing indicated to the jinn his death except a creature of the earth eating his staff. But when he fell, it became clear to the jinn that if they had known the unseen, they would not have remained in humiliating punishment.

Surah 37 | As-Saffat | আস-সাফফাত | Verse: 1 - 10

শপথ তাদের (ফিরিশতারা) যারা সারিবদ্ধভাবে দণ্ডায়মান ।
অতঃপর যারা কঠোর পরিচালক ।
আর যারা (আল্লাহর) যিকর আবৃত্তিতে রত
নিশ্চয় তোমাদের ইলাহ এক ,
যিনি আসমানসমূহ , যমীন ও তাদের অন্তর্বর্তী সবকিছুর রব এবং রব সকল উদয়স্থলের ।
নিশ্চয় আমরা নিকটবর্তী আসমানকে তারকারাজির সৌন্দর্য দ্বারা সুশোভিত করেছি ,
এবং একে প্রত্যেক বিদ্রোহী শয়তান হতে রক্ষা করেছি ।
ফলে ওরা ঊর্ধ্ব জগতের কিছু শুনতে পারে না । ওদের ওপর সকল দিক হতে (উল্কা) নিক্ষিপ্ত হয় ;
বিতাড়নের জন্য এবং তাদের জন্য রয়েছে অবিরাম শাস্তি । তবে কেউ সন্তর্পণে কিছু শুনে ফেললে জ্বলন্ত উল্কাপিণ্ড তার পশ্চাদ্ধাবন করে ।

By those [angels] lined up in rows
And those who drive [the clouds]
And those who recite the message,
Indeed, your God is One,
Lord of the heavens and the earth and that between them and Lord of the sunrises.
Indeed, We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment of stars
And as protection against every rebellious devil
[So] they may not listen to the exalted assembly [of angels] and are pelted from every side,
Repelled; and for them is a constant punishment,
Except one who snatches [some words] by theft, but they are pursued by a burning flame, piercing [in brightness].

Surah 38 | Ṣād | সোয়াদ | Verse: 17 - 40

তারা যা বলে তাতে আপনি ধৈর্য ধারণ করুন এবং স্মরণ করুন আমাদের শক্তিশালী বান্দা দাউদের কথা ; তিনি ছিলেন খুব বেশী আল্লাহ অভিমুখী ।
নিশ্চয় আমরা অনুগত করেছিলাম পর্বতমালাকে , যেন এগুলো সকাল-সন্ধ্যায় তার (দাউদ (আঃ) সাথে আমার পবিত্রতা ও মহিমা ঘোষণা করে ,
আর সমবেত পাখীদেরকেও (অনুগত করেছিলাম) তার , প্রত্যেকেই ছিল অধিক আল্লাহ অভিমুখী ।
আর আমরা তার রাজ্যকে সুদৃঢ় করেছিলাম , আর তাকে দিয়েছিলাম জ্ঞান-বুদ্ধি-বিচক্ষণতা আর বিচারকার্য ও কথাবার্তায় উত্তম সিদ্ধান্ত দানের যোগ্যতা ।
আপনার কাছে বিবদমান লোকদের বৃত্তান্ত পৌছেছে কি ? যখন তারা প্রাচীর ডিঙিয়ে আসল ইবাদাতখানায় প্রবেশ করল ,
এবং দাউদের নিকট পৌঁছল তখন তাদের কারণে তিনি ভীত হয়ে পড়লেন । তারা বলল , ভীত হবেন না , আমরা দুই বিবাদমান পক্ষ — আমরা একে অপরের উপর যুল্‌ম করেছি; অতএব আমাদের মধ্যে ন্যায় বিচার করুন , অবিচার করবেন না এবং আমাদেরকে সঠিক পথ নির্দেশ করুন ।
এ হচ্ছে আমার ভাই , এর আছে নিরানব্বইটা দুম্বী , আর আমার আছে মাত্র একটা দুম্বী ; তবুও সে বলে - এটি আমার তত্ত্বাবধানে দিয়ে দাও , আর সে যুক্তি-তর্কে আমার প্ৰতি প্রাধান্য বিস্তার করেছে ।
দাউদ বললেন , তোমার ভেড়ীটিকে তার ভেড়ীগুলোর সঙ্গে যুক্ত করার দাবী করে সে তোমার প্রতি যুলুম করেছে । আর শরীকদের অনেকে একে অন্যের উপর তো সীমালঙ্ঘন করে থাকে — করে না শুধু যারা ঈমান আনে এবং সৎকাজ করে , আর তারা সংখ্যায় স্বল্প । আর দাউদ বুঝতে পারলেন , আমরা তো তাকে পরীক্ষা করলাম । অতঃপর তিনি তার রবের কাছে ক্ষমা প্রার্থনা করলেন এবং নত হয়ে লুটিয়ে পড়লেন , আর তাঁর অভিমুখী হলেন । [সাজদাহ]
অতঃপর আমরা তার ক্ৰটি ক্ষমা করলাম । আর নিশ্চয় আমাদের কাছে তার জন্য রয়েছে নৈকট্যের মর্যাদা ও উত্তম প্রত্যাবর্তনস্থল ।

[ দাঊদ (আ)-এর এই কাজ কি ছিল, যার জন্য তাঁকে ত্রুটি স্বীকার এবং তওবা, ক্ষমাপ্রার্থনা ও অনুতাপ প্রকাশ করার অনুভূতি হল এবং আল্লাহ তাআলা তাঁকে ক্ষমা করে দিলেন। কুরআন কারীমে এর বিস্তারিত আলোচনা পাওয়া যায় না এবং কোন সহীহ হাদীসেও এ বিষয়ে কোন স্পষ্ট বর্ণনা নেই । ]

হে দাউদ ! আমরা আপনাকে যমীনে খলীফা বানিয়েছি , অতএব আপনি লোকদের মধ্যে সুবিচার করুন এবং খেয়াল - খুশীর অনুসরণ করবেন না , কেননা এটা আপনাকে আল্লাহর পথ থেকে বিচ্যুত করবে । নিশ্চয় যারা আল্লাহর পথ থেকে ভ্ৰষ্ট হয় তাদের জন্য রয়েছে কঠিন শাস্তি , কারণ তারা বিচার দিনকে ভুলে গিয়েছিল ।
আর আমরা আসমান, যমীন ও এ দুয়ের মধ্যবর্তী কোন কিছুই অনর্থক সৃষ্টি করিনি । এ তো অবিশ্বাসীদের ধারণা । সুতরাং অবিশ্বাসীদের জন্য রয়েছে জাহান্নামের দুর্ভোগ ।
যারা ঈমান আনে ও সৎকাজ করে আমরা কি তাদেরকে যমীনে বিপর্যয় সৃষ্টিকারীদের সমান গণ্য করব ? নাকি আমরা মুত্তাকীদেরকে (সাবধানিগণকে) অপরাধীদের সমান গণ্য করব ?
আমরা এ কল্যাণময় গ্রন্থ (কুরআন) আপনার প্রতি নাযিল করেছি , যাতে মানুষ এর আয়াতসমূহে গভীরভাবে চিন্তা করে এবং যাতে বোধশক্তিসম্পন্ন ব্যক্তিরা গ্ৰহণ করে উপদেশ ।
আর আমরা দাউদকে (পুত্ররূপে) দান করলাম সুলাইমান । কতই না উত্তম বান্দা তিনি ! নিশ্চয় তিনি ছিলেন অতিশয় আল্লাহ অভিমুখী ।
যখন তার সামনে সন্ধ্যাবেলায় পেশ করা হল দ্রুতগামী উৎকৃষ্ট ঘোড়াসমূহ ।
তখন সে বলল , আমি তো আমার রবের স্মরণ থেকে বিমুখ হয়ে ঐশ্বর্যের প্রেমে মগ্ন হয়ে পড়েছি , এদিকে সূর্য অস্তমিত হয়ে গেছে ।
এগুলোকে আমার কাছে ফিরিয়ে আন । তারপর তিনি ওগুলোর পা এবং গলা ছেদন করতে লাগলেন ।
আর অবশ্যই আমরা সুলাইমানকে পরীক্ষা করলাম এবং তার আসনের উপর রাখলাম একটি দেহ ; তারপর সুলাইমান আমার অভিমুখী হলেন ।
তিনি (সুলাইমান) বললেন , হে আমার রব , আমাকে ক্ষমা করুন এবং আমাকে এমন এক রাজত্ব দান করুন যা আমার পর আর কারও জন্যই প্রযোজ্য হবে না । নিশ্চয়ই আপনি বড়ই দানশীল ।
তখন আমরা তার [ (সুলাইমান (আঃ) ] অধীন করে দিলাম বায়ুকে , যা তার আদেশে , তিনি যেখানে ইচ্ছে করতেন সেখানে মৃদুমন্দভাবে প্রবাহিত হত ,
আর (অধীন করে দিলাম) প্রত্যেক প্রাসাদ নির্মাণকারী ও ডুবুরী শয়তান [জিন] সমূহকে ও ।
এবং শৃংখলে আবদ্ধ আরও অনেককে ।
এসব আমাদের অনুগ্রহ , অতএব এ থেকে আপনি অন্যকে দিতে বা নিজে রাখতে পারেন । এর জন্য আপনাকে হিসেব দিতে হবে না ।
আর নিশ্চয় আমাদের কাছে রয়েছে তার [ (সুলাইমান (আঃ) ] জন্য নৈকট্যের মর্যাদা ও উত্তম প্রত্যাবর্তনস্থল ।

Be patient over what they say and remember Our servant, David, the possessor of strength; indeed, he was one who repeatedly turned back [to Allah].
Indeed, We subjected the mountains [to praise] with him (David), exalting [Allah] in the [late] afternoon and [after] sunrise.
And the birds were assembled, all with him repeating [praises].
And We strengthened his kingdom and gave him wisdom and discernment in speech.
And has there come to you the news of the adversaries, when they climbed over the wall of [his] prayer chamber
When they entered upon David and he was alarmed by them? They said, "Fear not. [We are] two adversaries, one of whom has wronged the other, so judge between us with truth and do not exceed [it] and guide us to the sound path.
Indeed this, my brother, has ninety-nine ewes, and I have one ewe; so he said, 'Entrust her to me,' and he overpowered me in speech."
[David] said, "He has certainly wronged you in demanding your ewe [in addition] to his ewes. And indeed, many associates oppress one another, except for those who believe and do righteous deeds - and few are they." And David became certain that We had tried him, and he asked forgiveness of his Lord and fell down bowing [in prostration] and turned in repentance [to Allah]. [Sajdah]
So We forgave him that; and indeed, for him is nearness to Us and a good place of return.

[ What was the act of Dawud (A.S.) that led him to feel the need to acknowledge his mistake, repent, seek forgiveness, and express remorse — and for which Allah, the Exalted, forgave him? The Qur'an does not provide detailed discussion on this matter, nor is there any clear narration in any authentic Hadith regarding it.]

[We said], "O David, indeed We have made you a successor upon the earth, so judge between the people in truth and do not follow [your own] desire, as it will lead you astray from the way of Allah." Indeed, those who go astray from the way of Allah will have a severe punishment for having forgotten the Day of Account.
And We did not create the heaven and the earth and that between them aimlessly. That is the assumption of those who disbelieve, so woe to those who disbelieve from the Fire.
Or should we treat those who believe and do righteous deeds like corrupters in the land? Or should We treat those who fear Allah like the wicked?
[This is] a blessed Book (Quran) which We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], that they might reflect upon its verses and that those of understanding would be reminded.
And to David We gave Solomon ( as son) . An excellent servant, indeed he was one repeatedly turning back [to Allah].
[Mention] when there were exhibited before him in the afternoon the poised [standing] racehorses.
And he said, "Indeed, I gave preference to the love of good [things] over the remembrance of my Lord until the sun disappeared into the curtain [of darkness]."
[He said], "Return them to me," and set about striking [their] legs and necks.
And We certainly tried Solomon and placed on his throne a body; then he returned.
He said, "My Lord, forgive me and grant me a kingdom such as will not belong to anyone after me. Indeed, You are the Bestower."
So We subjected to him [ (Solomon (AS) ] the wind blowing by his command, gently, wherever he directed,
And [also] the devils [of jinn] - every builder and diver
And others bound together in shackles.
[We said], "This is Our gift, so grant or withhold without account."
And indeed, for him is nearness to Us and a good place of return.

Surah 38 | Ṣād | সোয়াদ | Verse: 71 - 85

স্মরণ করুন, যখন আপনার রব ফেরেশতাদেরকে বলেছিলেন , আমি মাটি হতে মানুষ সৃষ্টি করব ।
অতঃপর যখন আমি তাকে সুষম করব এবং তাতে আমার রূহ সঞ্চার করব , তখন তোমরা তার প্রতি সিজদাবনত হয়ো ।
তখন ফেরেশতারা সকলেই সিজদাবনত হল ।
শুধু ইবলীস ব্যতীত ; সে অহংকার করল এবং সত্যপ্রত্যাখ্যানকারীদের (কাফিরদের) অন্তর্ভুক্ত হল ।
আল্লাহ বললেন - হে ইবলীস ! আমি যাকে নিজ হাতে সৃষ্টি করলাম তাকে সেজদা করতে তোমাকে কে বাধা দিল ? তুমি কি ঔদ্ধত্য প্রকাশ করলে , না তুমি উচ্চমর্যাদাসম্পন্ন ?
সে বলল, আমি আদম হতে শ্রেষ্ঠ । আপনি আমাকে আগুন থেকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন এবং তাকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন কাদামাটি হতে ।
তিনি বললেন , তুমি এখান থেকে বের হয়ে যাও , তুমি হলে লাঞ্ছিত , বিতাড়িত ।
আর নিশ্চয় বিচার দিবস পর্যন্ত তোমার উপর আমার অভিশাপ বলবৎ থাকবে ।
সে বলল, হে আমার রব ! তাহলে আপনি আমাকে সে দিন পর্যন্ত অবকাশ দিন , যে দিন তাদেরকে পুনরুত্থিত করা হবে ।
তিনি বললেন, যাদেরকে অবকাশ দেওয়া হয়েছে তুমি অবশ্যই তাদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হলে
নির্ধারিত সময় উপস্থিত হওয়ার দিন পর্যন্ত ।
সে বলল , আপনার ক্ষমতা - সম্মানের শপথ ! অবশ্যই আমি তাদের সবাইকে পথভ্ৰষ্ট করব ,
তবে তাদের মধ্যে আপনার একনিষ্ঠ বান্দারা ব্যতীত ।
তিনি (আল্লাহ) বললেন , তবে এটাই সত্য, আর আমি সত্যই বলি
অবশ্যই তোমাকে দিয়ে এবং তাদের মধ্যে যারা তোমার অনুসরণ করবে তাদের সবার দ্বারা আমি জাহান্নাম পূর্ণ করব ।

[So mention] when your Lord said to the angels, "Indeed, I am going to create a human being from clay.
So when I have proportioned him and breathed into him of My [created] soul, then fall down to him in prostration."
So the angels prostrated - all of them entirely.
Except Iblees; he was arrogant and became among the disbelievers.
[Allah] said, "O Iblees, what prevented you from prostrating to that which I created with My hands? Were you arrogant [then], or were you [already] among the haughty?"
He said, "I am better than him. You created me from fire and created him from clay."
[Allah] said, "Then get out of Paradise, for indeed, you are expelled.
And indeed, upon you is My curse until the Day of Recompense."
He said, "My Lord, then reprieve me until the Day they are resurrected."
[Allah] said, "So indeed, you are of those reprieved
Until the Day of the time well-known."
[Iblees] said, "By your might, I will surely mislead them all
Except, among them, Your chosen servants."
[Allah] said, "The truth [is My oath], and the truth I say -
[That] I will surely fill Hell with you and those of them that follow you all together."

Surah 46 | Al-Ahqaf | আল-আহকাফ | Verse: 29 - 31

আর স্মরণ করুন, যখন আমরা আপনার, (হে মুহাম্মদ), প্রতি আকৃষ্ট করেছিলাম একদল জ্বিনকে , যারা মনোযোগসহকারে কুরআন পাঠ শুনছিল । অতঃপর যখন তারা তার (নবীর) নিকট উপস্থিত হল , তারা একে অপরকে বলতে লাগল , চুপ করে শুন । যখন কুরআন পাঠ সমাপ্ত হল , তখন তারা তাদের সম্প্রদায়ের নিকট ফিরে গেল সতর্ককারীরূপে ।
তারা বলেছিল, হে আমাদের সম্প্রদায় ! নিশ্চয় আমরা এমন এক কিতাবের ( কুরআন ) পাঠ শুনেছি যা নাযিল হয়েছে মূসার পরে, এটা তার পূর্ববর্তী কিতাবকে সমর্থন করে এবং সত্য ও সরল পথের দিকে পরিচালিত করে ।
হে আমাদের সম্প্রদায় ( জ্বিন সম্প্রদায় ) ! আল্লাহর দিকে আহবানকারীর আহবানে সাড়া দাও এবং তার প্রতি বিশ্বাস স্থাপন কর , আল্লাহ তোমাদের পাপরাশি ক্ষমা করবেন এবং যন্ত্রণাদায়ক শাস্তি হতে তোমাদেরকে রক্ষা করবেন ।

And [mention, O Muhammad], when We directed to you a few of the jinn, listening to the Qur'an. And when they attended it, they said, "Listen quietly." And when it was concluded, they went back to their people as warners.
They said, "O our people, indeed we have heard a [recited] Book ( Qur'an) revealed after Moses confirming what was before it which guides to the truth and to a straight path.
O our people, (Jinn community) , respond to the Messenger of Allah and believe in him; Allah will forgive for you your sins and protect you from a painful punishment.

Surah 55 | Ar-Rahman | আর-রাহমান | Verse: 14 - 16

মানুষকে (আদমকে) তিনি সৃষ্টি করেছেন শুষ্ক ঠনঠনে মাটি থেকে যা পোড়া মাটির মতনিয়ামতকে অস্বীকার করবে?
এবং জিনকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন ধোঁয়াবিহীন অগ্নিশিখা থেকে।
অতএব (হে জ্বিন ও মানুষ!) তোমরা তোমাদের প্রতিপালকের কোন্ কোন্ নিয়ামতকে অস্বীকার করবে?

He created man from clay like [that of] pottery.
And He created the jinn from a smokeless flame of fire.
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

Surah 55 | Ar-Rahman | আর-রাহমান | Verse: 17 - 18

তিনিই দুই উদায়াচল ও দুই অস্তাচলের প্রতিপালক।
অতএব (হে জ্বিন ও মানুষ!) তোমরা তোমাদের প্রতিপালকের কোন্ কোন্ নিয়ামতকে অস্বীকার করবে?

[He is] Lord of the two sunrises and Lord of the two sunsets.
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

Surah 55 | Ar-Rahman | আর-রাহমান | Verse: 19- 25

তিনি প্রবাহিত করেন দুই সমুদ্র যারা পরস্পর মিলিত হয়,
কিন্তু তাদের উভয়ের মধ্যে রয়েছে এক অন্তরাল যা তারা অতিক্রম করতে পারে না ।
অতএব (হে জ্বিন ও মানুষ!) তোমরা তোমাদের প্রতিপালকের কোন্ কোন্ নিয়ামতকে অস্বীকার করবে?
উভয় সমুদ্র হতে উৎপন্ন হয় মুক্তা ও প্রবাল।
অতএব (হে জ্বিন ও মানুষ!) তোমরা তোমাদের প্রতিপালকের কোন্ কোন্ নিয়ামতকে অস্বীকার করবে?
আর সাগরে বিচরণশীল পৰ্বতপ্রমাণ নৌযানসমূহ তাঁরই (নিয়ন্ত্রণাধীন)
অতএব (হে জ্বিন ও মানুষ!) তোমরা তোমাদের প্রতিপালকের কোন্ কোন্ নিয়ামতকে অস্বীকার করবে?

He released the two seas, meeting [side by side]
Between them is a barrier [so] neither of them transgresses.
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?
From both of them emerge pearl and coral.
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?
And to Him belong the ships [with sails] elevated in the sea like mountains.
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

Surah 55 | Ar-Rahman | আর-রাহমান | Verse: 26 - 28

ভূপৃষ্ঠে যা কিছু আছে সবকিছুই ধ্বংসশীল।
আর অবিনশ্বর শুধু আপনার রবের চেহারা (সত্তা), যিনি মহিমাময়, মহানুভব ;
অতএব (হে জ্বিন ও মানুষ!) তোমরা তোমাদের প্রতিপালকের কোন্ কোন্ নিয়ামতকে অস্বীকার করবে?

Everyone upon the earth will perish,
And there will remain the Face ( existence) of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honor.
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

Surah 55 | Ar-Rahman | আর-রাহমান | Verse: 29 - 36

আকাশমন্ডলী ও পৃথিবীতে যা আছে সবাই তাঁর নিকট প্রার্থী, প্রতিনিয়ত তিনি অতি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ কাজে রত।
অতএব (হে জ্বিন ও মানুষ!) তোমরা তোমাদের প্রতিপালকের কোন্ কোন্ নিয়ামতকে অস্বীকার করবে?
হে মানুষ ও জিন্ন! আমরা অচিরেই তোমাদের (হিসাব নিকাশের) প্রতি মনোনিবেশ করব
অতএব (হে জ্বিন ও মানুষ!) তোমরা তোমাদের প্রতিপালকের কোন্ কোন্ নিয়ামতকে অস্বীকার করবে?
হে জ্বিন ও মানুষ সম্প্রদায়! আকাশমন্ডলী ও পৃথিবীর সীমা তোমরা যদি অতিক্রম করতে পার, তাহলে অতিক্রম কর, কিন্তু কোন শক্তি ব্যতিরেকে তোমরা তা অতিক্রম করতে পারবে না।
অতএব (হে জ্বিন ও মানুষ!) তোমরা তোমাদের প্রতিপালকের কোন্ কোন্ নিয়ামতকে অস্বীকার করবে?
তোমাদের উভয়ের প্রতি প্রেরিত হবে আগুনের শিখা ও ধুম্রপুঞ্জ , তখন তোমরা প্রতিরোধ করতে পারবে না।
অতএব (হে জ্বিন ও মানুষ!) তোমরা তোমাদের প্রতিপালকের কোন্ কোন্ নিয়ামতকে অস্বীকার করবে?

Whoever is within the heavens and earth asks Him; every day He is bringing about a matter.
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?
We will attend to you, O prominent beings.
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?
O company of jinn and mankind, if you are able to pass beyond the regions of the heavens and the earth, then pass. You will not pass except by authority [from Allah].
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?
There will be sent upon you a flame of fire and smoke, and you will not defend yourselves.
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

Surah 55 | Ar-Rahman | আর-রাহমান | Verse: 37 - 40

যেদিন আকাশ বিদীর্ণ হবে সেদিন তা রক্তিম গোলাপের মত লাল চামড়ার রূপ ধারণ করবে
অতএব (হে জ্বিন ও মানুষ!) তোমরা তোমাদের প্রতিপালকের কোন্ কোন্ নিয়ামতকে অস্বীকার করবে?
অতঃপর সেদিন না মানুষকে তার অপরাধ সম্বন্ধে জিজ্ঞেস করা হবে, না জিন্নকে !
অতএব (হে জ্বিন ও মানুষ!) তোমরা তোমাদের প্রতিপালকের কোন্ কোন্ নিয়ামতকে অস্বীকার করবে?

And when the heaven is split open and becomes rose-colored like oil
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?
Then on that Day none will be asked about his sin among men or jinn.
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

Surah 55 | Ar-Rahman | আর-রাহমান | Verse: 41 - 45

অপরাধীদের পরিচয় পাওয়া যাবে তাদের লক্ষণ থেকে, অতঃপর তাদেরকে পাকড়াও করা হবে মাথার সামনের চুল ও পা ধরে।
অতএব (হে জ্বিন ও মানুষ!) তোমরা তোমাদের প্রতিপালকের কোন্ কোন্ নিয়ামতকে অস্বীকার করবে?
এটাই সে জাহান্নাম, যাতে অপরাধীরা মিথ্যারোপ করত,
তারা জাহান্নামের আগুন ও ফুটন্ত পানির মধ্যে ছুটাছুটি করবে।
অতএব (হে জ্বিন ও মানুষ!) তোমরা তোমাদের প্রতিপালকের কোন্ কোন্ নিয়ামতকে অস্বীকার করবে?

The criminals will be known by their marks, and they will be seized by the forelocks and the feet.
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?
This is Hell, which the criminals deny.
They will go around between it and scalding water, heated [to the utmost degree].
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

Surah 55 | Ar-Rahman | আর-রাহমান | Verse: 46 - 78

আর যে ব্যক্তি তার প্রতিপালকের সামনে উপস্থিত হওয়ার ভয় রাখে, তার জন্য রয়েছে দু’টি (জান্নাতের) বাগান।
অতএব (হে জ্বিন ও মানুষ!) তোমরা তোমাদের প্রতিপালকের কোন্ কোন্ নিয়ামতকে অস্বীকার করবে?
উভয়ই বহু শাখা-পল্লববিশিষ্ট।
অতএব (হে জ্বিন ও মানুষ!) তোমরা তোমাদের প্রতিপালকের কোন্ কোন্ নিয়ামতকে অস্বীকার করবে?
উভয় উদ্যানে রয়েছে প্রবাহমান দুই প্রস্রবণ
অতএব (হে জ্বিন ও মানুষ!) তোমরা তোমাদের প্রতিপালকের কোন্ কোন্ নিয়ামতকে অস্বীকার করবে?
উভয় উদ্যানে রয়েছে প্ৰত্যেক ফল দুই দুই প্রকার।
অতএব (হে জ্বিন ও মানুষ!) তোমরা তোমাদের প্রতিপালকের কোন্ কোন্ নিয়ামতকে অস্বীকার করবে?
সেখানে তারা হেলান দিয়ে বসবে এমন ফরাশে যার অভ্যন্তরভাগ হবে পুরু রেশমের। আর দুই উদ্যানের ফল হবে কাছাকাছি।
অতএব (হে জ্বিন ও মানুষ!) তোমরা তোমাদের প্রতিপালকের কোন্ কোন্ নিয়ামতকে অস্বীকার করবে?
সেসবের মাঝে রয়েছে বহু আনত নয়না, যাদেরকে আগে কোন মানুষ অথবা জিন সম্পর্শ করেনি।
অতএব (হে জ্বিন ও মানুষ!) তোমরা তোমাদের প্রতিপালকের কোন্ কোন্ নিয়ামতকে অস্বীকার করবে?
তারা (সৌন্দর্যে) যেন পদ্মরাগ ও প্রবালসদৃশ।
অতএব (হে জ্বিন ও মানুষ!) তোমরা তোমাদের প্রতিপালকের কোন্ কোন্ নিয়ামতকে অস্বীকার করবে?
উত্তম কাজের প্রতিফল উত্তম পুরস্কার ছাড়া কী হতে পারে?
অতএব (হে জ্বিন ও মানুষ!) তোমরা তোমাদের প্রতিপালকের কোন্ কোন্ নিয়ামতকে অস্বীকার করবে?
এ উদ্যান দুটি ছাড়া আরো দুটি উদ্যান রয়েছে।
অতএব (হে জ্বিন ও মানুষ!) তোমরা তোমাদের প্রতিপালকের কোন্ কোন্ নিয়ামতকে অস্বীকার করবে?
ঘন সবুজ এ উদ্যান দুটি।
অতএব (হে জ্বিন ও মানুষ!) তোমরা তোমাদের প্রতিপালকের কোন্ কোন্ নিয়ামতকে অস্বীকার করবে?
উভয় উদ্যানে আছে উচ্ছলিত দুই প্রস্রবণ।
অতএব (হে জ্বিন ও মানুষ!) তোমরা তোমাদের প্রতিপালকের কোন্ কোন্ নিয়ামতকে অস্বীকার করবে?
সেখানে রয়েছে ফলমূল—খেজুর ও আনার (ডালিম।) ।
অতএব (হে জ্বিন ও মানুষ!) তোমরা তোমাদের প্রতিপালকের কোন্ কোন্ নিয়ামতকে অস্বীকার করবে?
সে উদ্যানসমূহের মাঝে রয়েছে চরিত্রবর্তী, অনিন্দ্য সুন্দরীগণ।
অতএব (হে জ্বিন ও মানুষ!) তোমরা তোমাদের প্রতিপালকের কোন্ কোন্ নিয়ামতকে অস্বীকার করবে?
তারা তাঁবুতে সুরক্ষিত হুর।
অতএব (হে জ্বিন ও মানুষ!) তোমরা তোমাদের প্রতিপালকের কোন্ কোন্ নিয়ামতকে অস্বীকার করবে?
এদেরকে এর আগে কোন মানুষ অথবা জিন স্পর্শ করেনি।
অতএব (হে জ্বিন ও মানুষ!) তোমরা তোমাদের প্রতিপালকের কোন্ কোন্ নিয়ামতকে অস্বীকার করবে?
তারা হেলান দিয়ে বসবে সবুজ তাকিয়ায় ( বালিশ ) ও সুন্দর গালিচার উপরে।
অতএব (হে জ্বিন ও মানুষ!) তোমরা তোমাদের প্রতিপালকের কোন্ কোন্ নিয়ামতকে অস্বীকার করবে?
কত বরকতময় আপনার রবের নাম যিনি মহিমাময় ও মহানুভব!

But for he who has feared the position of his Lord are two gardens
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?
Having [spreading] branches.
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?
In both of them are two springs, flowing.
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?
In both of them are of every fruit, two kinds.
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?
[They are] reclining on beds whose linings are of silk brocade, and the fruit of the two gardens is hanging low.
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?
In them are women limiting [their] glances, untouched before them by man or jinni
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?
As if they were rubies and coral.
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?
Is the reward for good [anything] but good?
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?
And below them both [in excellence] are two [other] gardens
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?
Dark green [in color].
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?
In both of them are two springs, spouting.
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?
In both of them are fruit and palm trees and pomegranates.
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?
In them are good and beautiful women
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?
Fair ones reserved in pavilions
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?
Untouched before them by man or jinni
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?
Reclining on green cushions and beautiful fine carpets.
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?
Blessed is the name of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honor.

Surah 72 | Al-Jinn | আল-জ্বিন | Verse: 1 - 15

বলুন,[ হে মুহাম্মাদ ], ‘আমার প্রতি ওহী নাযিল হয়েছে যে, জিনদের একটি দল মনোযোগের সাথে শুনেছে অতঃপর বলেছে, আমরা তো এক বিস্ময়কর কুরআন শুনেছি,
যা সত্যের দিকে হেদায়াত করে; ফলে আমরা এতে ঈমান এনেছি। আর আমরা কখনো আমাদের রবের সাথে কাউকে শরীক করব না,
আর নিশ্চয়ই আমাদের রবের মর্যাদা সমুচ্চ; তিনি গ্ৰহণ করেননি কোন সঙ্গিনী এবং না কোন সন্তান।
আর আমাদের মধ্যকার নির্বোধেরা আল্লাহর ব্যাপারে অবাস্তব কথা- বার্তা বলত’।
অথচ আমরা মনে করতাম মানুষ এবং জিন আল্লাহ সম্পর্কে কখনো মিথ্যা বলবে না।
আর এও যে, কিছু কিছু মানুষ কিছু জিনের আশ্রয় নিত, ফলে তারা জিনদের আত্মম্ভরিতা বাড়িয়ে দিয়েছিল।
এও যে, তারা ধারণা করেছিল যেমন তোমরা ধারণা কর যে, আল্লাহ কাউকেও কখনো পুনরুত্থিত করবেন না।
এও যে, আমরা চেয়েছিলাম আকাশের তথ্য সংগ্ৰহ করতে কিন্তু আমরা দেখতে পেলাম কঠোর প্রহরী ও উল্কাপিণ্ড দ্বারা আকাশ পরিপূর্ণ;
এও যে, আমরা আগে আকাশের বিভিন্ন ঘাঁটিতে সংবাদ শুনার জন্য বসতাম। কিন্তু এখন কেউ সংবাদ শুনতে চাইলে সে তার উপর নিক্ষেপের জন্য প্রস্তুত জলন্ত উল্কাপিণ্ডের সম্মুখীন হয়।
এও যে, আমরা জানি না , যমীনে যারা রয়েছে তাদের জন্য অকল্যাণ চাওয়া হয়েছে, নাকি তাদের রব তাদের ব্যাপারে মঙ্গল চেয়েছেন’।
এও যে, আমাদের কিছু সংখ্যক সৎকর্মপরায়ণ এবং কিছু সংখ্যক এর ব্যতিক্রম, আমরা ছিলাম বিভিন্ন পথের অনুসারী ;
এও যে, আমরা বুঝেছি, আমরা যমীনে আল্লাহকে পরাভূত করতে পারব না এবং পালিয়েও তাকে ব্যর্থ করতে পারব না।
এও যে, আমরা যখন হিদায়াতের বাণী শুনলাম তাতে ঈমান আনলাম। সুতরাং যে ব্যক্তি তার রবের প্রতি ঈমান আনে তার কোন ক্ষতি ও কোন অন্যায়ের আশংকা থাকবে না।
এও যে, আমাদের মধ্যে কিছু সংখ্যক আছে মুসলিম আর কিছু সংখ্যক আছে সীমালঙ্ঘনকারী; অতঃপর যারা ইসলাম গ্ৰহণ করেছে তারা সুচিন্তিতভাবে সত্য পথ বেছে নিয়েছে।
আর যারা সীমালঙ্ঘনকারী তারা তো হয়েছে জাহান্নামের ইন্ধন৷

Say, [O Muhammad], "It has been revealed to me that a group of the jinn listened and said, 'Indeed, we have heard an amazing Qur'an.
It guides to the right course, and we have believed in it. And we will never associate with our Lord anyone.
And [it teaches] that exalted is the nobleness of our Lord; He has not taken a wife or a son
And that our foolish one has been saying about Allah an excessive transgression.
And we had thought that mankind and the jinn would never speak about Allah a lie.
And there were men from mankind who sought refuge in men from the jinn, so they [only] increased them in burden.
And they had thought, as you thought, that Allah would never send anyone [as a messenger].
And we have sought [to reach] the heaven but found it filled with powerful guards and burning flames .
And we used to sit therein in positions for hearing, but whoever listens now will find a burning flame lying in wait for him.
And we do not know [therefore] whether evil is intended for those on earth or whether their Lord intends for them a right course.
And among us are the righteous, and among us are [others] not so; we were [of] divided ways.
And we have become certain that we will never cause failure to Allah upon earth, nor can we escape Him by flight.
And when we heard the guidance, we believed in it. And whoever believes in his Lord will not fear deprivation or burden.
And among us are Muslims [in submission to Allah], and among us are the unjust. And whoever has become Muslim - those have sought out the right course.
But as for the unjust, they will be, for Hell, firewood.'
