তূর পর্বত (Mount Tur), এটি বর্তমানে সিনাই পর্বতের অংশ বলে ধারণা করা হয়, যা বর্তমান মিসরের সিনাই উপদ্বীপে অবস্থিত। যেখানে মূসা (আলাইহিস সালাম) আল্লাহর সাথে কথা বলেছিলেন এবং যেখানে তিনি তাওরাত (Torah) লাভ করেছিলেন। এটি ইসলামic, খ্রিস্টান এবং ইহুদি ধর্মগ্রন্থে বিশেষ মর্যাদাপূর্ণ একটি স্থান।
Mount Tur is believed to be a part of Mount Sinai, located in the present-day Sinai Peninsula of Egypt. It is the place where Musa (AS) spoke with Allah and received the Torah. This site holds great significance in Islamic, Christian, and Jewish scriptures.

আল্লাহর নামে, যিনি পরম করুণাময়, পরম দয়ালু
Surah 20 | Ta-Ha | ত্ব-হা | Verse: 77 - 80
- আর আমরা অবশ্যই মূসার প্রতি ওহী করেছিলাম এ মর্মে যে, আমার বান্দাদেরকে নিয়ে রাতে বের হন এবং তাদের জন্য সাগরের মধ্য দিয়ে এক শুষ্ক পথের ব্যবস্থা করুন, পিছন থেকে (ফেরাউন) ধরে ফেলার আশংকা করবেন না এবং ভয়ও করবেন না।
[ এ সংক্ষিপ্ত কথাটির বিস্তারিত বিবরণ হচ্ছে এই যে, শেষ পর্যন্ত আল্লাহ একটি রাত নির্ধারণ করে দিয়েছিলেন। মূসা সবাইকে নিয়ে লোহিত সাগরের পথ ধরলেন। ফিরআউন একটি বিশাল সেনাবাহিনী নিয়ে পশ্চাদ্ধাবন করতে করতে ঠিক এমন সময় পৌঁছে গেলো যখন এ কাফেলা সবেমাত্ৰ সাগরের তীরেই উপস্থিত হয়েছিল। মুহাজিরদের কাফেলা ফিরআউনের সেনা দল ও সমুদ্র দ্বারা সম্পূর্ণরূপে ঘেরাও হয়ে গিয়েছিল। [ইবন কাসীর] ঠিক এমনি সময় আল্লাহ মূসাকে হুকুম দিলেন “সমুদ্রের উপর আপনার লাঠি দ্বারা আঘাত করুন।” “তখনই সাগর ফেটে গেলো এবং তার প্রত্যেকটি টুকরা একটি বড় পর্বত শৃংগের মতো দাঁড়িয়ে গেলো।” ]
- অতঃপর ফিরআউন তার সেনাবাহিনী সহ তাদের পশ্চাদ্ধাবন করলে সমুদ্র ওদেরকে সম্পূর্ণরূপে নিমজ্জিত করল।
- ফিরআউন তার সম্প্রদায়কে পথভ্রষ্ট করেছিল, সৎপথ দেখায়নি।
- হে বনী ইসরাঈল! আমরা তো তোমাদেরকে শত্রু থেকে উদ্ধার করেছিলাম, আর আমরা তোমাদেরকে তোমাদেরকে ত্বুর পাহাড়ের ডান পাশে (তাওরাত) দানের প্রতিশ্রুতি দিয়েছিলাম এবং তোমাদের নিকট ‘মান্ন্’ ও ‘সালওয়া’ প্রেরণ প্রেরণ করেছিলাম ।
- [Gardens of perpetual residence beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide eternally. And that is the reward of one who purifies himself.
- And We had inspired to Moses, "Travel by night with My servants and strike for them a dry path through the sea; you will not fear being overtaken [by Pharaoh] nor be afraid [of drowning]."
[ The detailed explanation of this brief statement is that, in the end, Allah appointed a specific night. Musa (AS) led his people along the path towards the Red Sea. Pharaoh, with a massive army, pursued them and arrived just as the caravan of the believers had reached the shore of the sea. The caravan of the Muhajirun was completely surrounded by Pharaoh's army on one side and the sea on the other. At that very moment, Allah commanded Musa (AS), "Strike the sea with your staff." Immediately, the sea split apart, and each part stood like a towering mountain. ]
- So Pharaoh pursued them with his soldiers, and there covered them from the sea that which covered them,
- And Pharaoh led his people astray and did not guide [them].
- O Children of Israel, We delivered you from your enemy, and We made an appointment with you at the right side of the mount, and We sent down to you manna and quails,
Surah 23 | Al-Mu'minun | আল-মুমিনুন Verse: 18 - 20
- আর আমরা আকাশ থেকে পানি (বৃষ্টি) বর্ষণ করি পরিমিতভাবে ; অতঃপর আমরা তা মাটিতে সংরক্ষিত করি; আর অবশ্যই আমরা তা নিয়ে যেতেও সম্পূর্ণ সক্ষম ।
- তারপর আমরা তা দিয়ে তোমাদের জন্য খেজুর ও আঙ্গুরের বাগান সৃষ্টি করি; এতে তোমাদের জন্য আছে প্রচুর ফল; আর তা থেকে তোমরা খেয়ে থাক ।
- আর সৃষ্টি করি এক গাছ যা জন্মে সিনাই পর্বতে, এতে উৎপন্ন হয় ভোজনকারীদের জন্য তেল ও তরকারী ।
- And We have sent down rain from the sky in a measured amount and settled it in the earth. And indeed, We are Able to take it away.
- And We brought forth for you thereby gardens of palm trees and grapevines in which for you are abundant fruits and from which you eat.
- And [We brought forth] a tree issuing from Mount Sinai which produces oil and food for those who eat .
Surah 52 | At-Tur | আত-তূর | Verse: 1 - 49
- শপথ তূর পর্বতের ।
- শপথ কিতাবের , যা লিখিত আছে ,
- উন্ম ুক্ত পাতায়
- শপথ বায়তুল মামুরের ,
- আর সমুন্নত আকাশের ;
- এবং শপথ উদ্বেলিত সমুদ্রের ।
- নিশ্চয় আপনার রবের শাস্তি অবশ্যম্ভাবী ,
- যার কোন প্রতিরোধকারী নেই ।
- যেদিন তীব্রভাবে আকাশ প্রকম্পিত হবে ,
- আর পর্বতমালা দ্রুত পরিভ্রমণ করবে ,
- অতঃএব দুর্ভোগ সে দিন মিথ্যারোপকারীদের জন্য ,
- যারা খেল-তামাশায় মত্ত থাকে ।
- সেদিন তাদেরকে ধাক্কা মারতে মারতে নিয়ে যাওয়া হবে জাহান্নামের আগুনের দিকে ।
- (বলা হবে) এটাই সেই আগুন যাকে তোমরা মিথ্যা মনে করতে।
- ‘এটি কি যাদু , নাকি তোমরা দেখতে পাচ্ছ না !’
- তোমরা এতে প্রবেশ কর , অতঃপর তোমরা ধৈর্যধারণ কর অথবা না কর উভয়ই তোমাদের জন্য সমান । তোমরা যা করতে তোমাদেরকে কেবল তারই প্রতিফল দেওয়া হবে ।
- নিশ্চয় মুত্তাকীরা/আল্লাহভীরুরা থাকবে জান্নাতে ও আরাম-আয়েশে ,
- তাদের প্রতিপালক তাদেরকে যা দেবেন , তারা তা সানন্দে উপভোগ করবে এবং তি নি তাদেরকে রক্ষা করবেন জাহান্নামের শাস্তি হতে ।
- ( তাদেরকে বলা হবে ) তোমরা যা করতে তার প্রতিফল স্বরূপ তোমরা তৃপ্তির সাথে পানাহার করতে থাক ।
- তারা বসবে সারিবদ্ধভাবে সজ্জিত আসনে হেলান দিয়ে ; আমি তাদের বিবাহ দেব ডাগর চোখবিশিষ্টা হূরের সঙ্গে ;
- আর যারা ঈমান আনে , আর তাদের সন্তান-সন্ততি ঈমানে তাদের অনুগামী হয় , আমরা তাদের সাথে মিলিত করব তাদের সন্তান-সন্ততিকে এবং তাদের কর্মফল আমরা একটুও কমাবো না ; প্ৰত্যেক ব্যক্তি নিজ কৃতকর্মের জন্য দায়ী ।
- আর আমরা তাদেরকে অতিরিক্ত দেব ফলমূল ও গোশত যা তারা কামনা করবে ।
- তারা সেখানে পরস্পরের মধ্যে বিনিময় করবে পানপাত্র , সেখানে থাকবে না কোন অসার কথা-বার্তা , থাকবে না কোন পাপকাজও ।
- আর তাদের সেবায় চারপাশে ঘুরাঘুরি করবে কিশোরেরা, তারা যেন সুরক্ষিত মুক্তা ।
- আর তারা একে অপরের মুখোমুখি হয়ে জিজ্ঞাসাবাদ করবে ,
- তারা বলবে, নিশ্চয় আগে আ মরা পরিবার-পরিজনের মধ্যে (দুনিয়াবী নানা কারণে ও আখিরাতের ‘আযাবের আশংকায়) শংকিত অবস্থায় ছিলাম ।
- অতঃপর আমাদের প্রতি আল্লাহ অনুগ্রহ করেছেন এবং আমাদেরকে আমাদেরকে আগুনের শাস্তি থেকে রক্ষা করেছেন ।
- নিশ্চয় আমরা আগেও আল্লাহকে ডাকতাম , নিশ্চয় তিনি কৃপাময় , পরম দয়ালু ।
- অতএব আপনি উপদেশ দিতে থাকুন , কারণ , আপনার রবের অনুগ্রহে আপনি গণক নন , উন্মাদও নন ।
- নাকি তারা বলে , সে একজন কবি ? আমরা তার মৃত্যুর প্রতীক্ষা করছি ।
- বলুন, তোমরা প্রতীক্ষা কর, আমিও তোমাদের সাথে প্রতীক্ষাকারীদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত ।
- তাদের বুদ্ধি বিবেক কি তাদেরকে এ নির্দেশ দেয় , নাকি তারা মূলতঃই এক সীমালঙ্ঘনকারী সম্প্রদায় ?
- তারা কি বলে- ‘সে নিজেই (কুরআন) রচনা করে নিয়েছে ? আসলে তারা ঈমানই আনেনি ।
- অতএব , তারা যদি সত্যবাদী হয় তবে এটার মত কোন বাণী নিয়ে আসুক না !
- তারা কি স্রষ্টা ছাড়া সৃষ্টি হয়েছে, না তারা নিজেরাই স্রষ্টা ?
- না কি তারা আকাশ ও পৃথিবী সৃষ্টি করেছে ? বরং তারাতো অবিশ্বাসী ।
- আপনার রবের গুপ্তভাণ্ডার কি তাদের কাছে রয়েছে , নাকি তারা এ সবকিছুর নিয়ন্তা ?
- নাকি তাদের আছে সিঁড়ি , যাতে চড়ে তারা (ঊর্ধ্বলোকের কথা) শুনতে পায় ; তাদের শ্রোতা স্পষ্ট প্রমাণ নিয়ে আসুক না ?
- তাহলে কি কন্যা সন্তান তাঁর জন্য এবং পুত্র সন্তান তোমাদের জন্য ?
- তবে কি আপনি ওদের কাছে পারিশ্রমিক চাচ্ছেন যে, তারা এটাকে একটি দুৰ্বহ বোঝা মনে করে?
- নাকি তাদের অদৃশ্যের জ্ঞান আছে যে, তারা লিখে রাখে ?
- নাকি তারা কোন ষড়যন্ত্র করতে চায়? পরিণামে যারা কুফরী করে তারাই হবে ষড়যন্ত্রের শিকার ।
- নাকি আল্লাহ ব্যতীত তাদের অন্য কোন উপাস্য আছে ? তারা যাকে শরীক স্থির করে , আল্লাহ তা হতে পবিত্র ।
- আর তারা আকাশের কোন খণ্ড ভেঙ্গে পড়তে দেখলে বলবে , এটা তো এক পুঞ্জিভূত মেঘ ।
- অতএব তাদেরকে ছেড়ে দিন । সে দিন পর ্যন্ত, যেদিন তারা বজ্রাঘাতে হতচেতন হবে ।
- By the mount .
- And [by] a Book inscribed
- In parchment spread open
- And [by] the frequented House
- And [by] the heaven raised high
- And [by] the sea filled [with fire],
- Indeed, the punishment of your Lord will occur .
- Of it there is no preventer .
- On the Day the heaven will sway with circular motion
- And the mountains will pass on, departing
- Then woe, that Day, to the deniers ,
- Who are in [empty] discourse amusing themselves .
- The Day they are thrust toward the fire of Hell with a [violent] thrust , [its angels will say] ,
- "This is the Fire which you used to deny .
- Then is this magic , or do you not see ?
- [Enter to] burn therein; then be patient or impatient - it is all the same for you. You are only being recompensed [for] what you used to do."
- Indeed , the righteous will be in gardens and pleasure ,
- Enjoying what their Lord has given them , and their Lord protected them from the punishment of Hellfire .
- [They will be told] , " Eat and drink in satisfaction for what you used to do ."
- They will be reclining on thrones lined up, and We will marry them to fair women with large, [beautiful] eyes .
- And those who believed and whose descendants followed them in faith - We will join with them their descendants, and We will not deprive them of anything of their deeds. Every person, for what he earned, is retained .
- And We will provide them with fruit and meat from whatever they desire .
- They will exchange with one another a cup [of wine] wherein [results] no ill speech or commission of sin.
- There will circulate among them [servant] boys [especially] for them , as if they were pearls well-protected .
- And they will approach one another , inquiring of each other .
- They will say, "Indeed, we were previously among our people fearful [of displeasing Allah].
- So Allah conferred favor upon us and protected us from the punishment of the Scorching Fire.
- Indeed , we used to supplicate Him before. Indeed , it is He who is the Beneficent, the Merciful ."
- So remind [O Muhammad], for you are not, by the favor of your Lord, a soothsayer or a madman.
- Or do they say [of you], "A poet for whom we await a misfortune of time ?"
- Say, "Wait, for indeed I am , with you, among the waiters ."
- Or do their minds command them to [say] this, or are they a transgressing people ?
- Or do they say, " He has made it up "? Rather , they do not believe .
- Then let them produce a statement like it , if they should be truthful .
- Or were they created by nothing, or were they the creators [of themselves] ?
- Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Rather, they are not certain .
- Or have they the depositories [containing the provision] of your Lord? Or are they the controllers [of them] ?
- Or have they a stairway [into the heaven] upon which they listen ? Then let their listener produce a clear authority .
- Or has He daughters while you have sons ?
- Or do you, [O Muhammad], ask of them a payment, so they are by debt burdened down ?
- Or have they [knowledge of] the unseen , so they write [it] down ?
- Or do they intend a plan? But those who disbelieve - they are the object of a plan .
- Or have they a deity other than Allah? Exalted is Allah above whatever they associate with Him .
- And if they were to see a fragment from the sky falling , they would say , "[It is merely] clouds heaped up ."
- So leave them until they meet their Day in which they will be struck insensible .
