105 | Al Fil (আল-ফীল)

  • যখন একজন মানুষ মারা যায়, তার সব কাজ শেষ হয়ে যায় , তিনটি ব্যতিক্রম ছাড়া: সদকা জারিয়া (চলমান দান) , এমন জ্ঞান যা থেকে উপকার পাওয়া যায়, এবং একটি সৎ সন্তান যে তার জন্য দোয়া করে । | মুহাম্মদ (সাঃ) ; হাদিস - সহিহ মুসলিম | When a person dies, his works end, except for three: ongoing charity, knowledge that is benefited from, and a righteous child who prays for him. | Prophet Mohammed (PBUH); Hadith - Sahih Muslim |

  • যে ব্যক্তি ভাল কাজের জন্য সুপারিশ করবে, তার জন্য তাতে (সাওয়াবের) অংশ আছে এবং যে মন্দ কাজের জন্য সুপারিশ করবে, তার জন্য তাতে অংশ আছে । আর আল্লাহ সব কিছুর উপর নজর রাখেন । | সূরাঃ ৪ , আন-নিসা , আয়াতঃ : ৮৫ | Whoever intercedes for a good cause will have a reward therefrom; and whoever intercedes for an evil cause will have a burden therefrom. সূরা আল-ফীল একটি মক্কার অবতীর্ণ সূরা, যা একটি ঐতিহাসিক ঘটনার বর্ণনা দেয় যাকে “হস্তীবর্ষ” বা “হাতির বছর” নামে পরিচিত। এই ঘটনা ঘটেছিল ৫৭০ খ্রিস্টাব্দে, যা মহানবী মুহাম্মদ (সা.) এর জন্মবর্ষ। ইয়েমেনের শাসক আবরাহা একটি বিশাল বাহিনী নিয়ে হাতিসহ কাবা ঘর ধ্বংস করার উদ্দেশ্যে মক্কার দিকে আগ্রাসন চালায়। কিন্তু আল্লাহ নিজেই কাবাকে রক্ষা করেন। তিনি আকাশ থেকে ঝাঁকে ঝাঁকে পাখি (যাদের “আবাবিল” বলা হয়) পাঠান, যারা তাদের ঠোঁট ও পায়ে পোড়া মাটির পাথর নিয়ে আবরাহার সেনার উপর নিক্ষেপ করে। ফলশ্রুতিতে সেই বিশাল বাহিনী ধ্বংস হয়ে যায় । এই ঘটনা নির্দেশ করে যে, আল্লাহ তাঁর পবিত্র ঘর এবং প্রিয় বান্দাদের রক্ষা করার সম্পূর্ণ ক্ষমতা রাখেন এবং তিনি সব শক্তির ওপর সর্বশক্তিমান। এই ঘটনা ঘটেছিল রাসূল (সা.) এর জন্মবর্ষেই, যা “আমুল-ফীল” বা “হাতির বছর” নামে পরিচিত ।

Surah Al-Fil is a Makkan revelation that describes a historic event known as the “Year of the Elephant.” This event took place in 570 AD, the birth year of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). A Yemeni ruler named Abraha marched with a large army that included elephants, intending to destroy the Ka‘bah. However, Allah Himself protected the Ka‘bah. He sent flocks of birds from the sky, known as the “Ababil,” which carried stones of baked clay in their beaks and claws and pelted Abraha’s army. As a result, the mighty army was destroyed. This event signifies that Allah is capable of protecting His Holy House and His beloved servants and that He is all-powerful over every force. This incident occurred in the very year of the Prophet’s birth, known as “Ām al-Fīl” — the Year of the Elephant.

আয়াত ১০৫ : ১ - ৫

  • [ হে মুহাম্মাদ ! ]
    • তুমি কি দেখোনি, তোমার প্রতিপালক কী করেছেন হাতিওয়ালাদের সাথে ? [এখানে আল্লাহ কুরাইশদের স্মরণ করিয়ে দিচ্ছেন, কীভাবে তিনি আবরাহার বিশাল হাতির বাহিনীকে ধ্বংস করেছিলেন যারা কাবা ধ্বংস করতে এসেছিল।]
    • তিনি কি তাদের চক্রান্ত ব্যর্থ করে দেননি ? [আবরাহা ও তার বাহিনীর পরিকল্পনা ছিল মহাপাপ — পবিত্র কাবা ঘর ধ্বংস করা। আল্লাহ তাদের সেই ষড়যন্ত্র নস্যাৎ করে দেন।]
    • তিনি তাদের বিরুদ্ধে ঝাঁকে ঝাঁকে পাখি পাঠিয়েছিলেন । [ আল্লাহ বিশেষ ধরণের পাখিদের পাঠান যারা আকাশ থেকে শত্রুদের ওপর আক্রমণ চালায়। ‘আবাবীল’ মানে: দলে দলে বা ঝাঁকে ঝাঁকে। ]
    • যারা তাদের ওপর নিক্ষেপ করছিল পোড়া কঙ্করের মতো পাথর । [ এই পাথর ছিল আগুনে পোড়া বা বিশেষ ধ্বংসাত্মক বস্তু, যা তাদের শরীরে পতিত হয়ে ধ্বংস ডেকে আনে। ]
    • অতঃপর তিনি তাদেরকে করে দেন চিবিয়ে খাওয়া খড়-কুটোর মতো । [ শেষ পর্যন্ত এই বিশাল বাহিনী সম্পূর্ণভাবে ধ্বংসপ্রাপ্ত হয় — তারা এমন অবস্থা হয়েছিল যেন পশুরা চিবিয়ে ফেলা ঘাস বা খড়-কুড়ার স্তূপ। ]

Verse 105 : 1 - 5

  • [O Muhammad!]
    • Have you not seen what your Lord did to the companions of the elephant? [[Here, Allah reminds the Quraysh of how He destroyed Abraha’s massive army of elephants that came to demolish the Ka‘bah.]]
    • Did He not frustrate their plan ? [Abraha and his army had a sinful plot to destroy the sacred Ka‘bah. Allah nullified their conspiracy.]
    • He sent against them flocks of birds, [Allah sent special flocks of birds from the sky to attack the enemies. ‘Ababil’ means in flocks or groups.]
    • Striking them with stones of baked clay, [These stones were fired clay pellets that fell on the army, causing destruction.]
    • And made them like eaten-up straw. [ Eventually, this mighty army was completely destroyed, reduced to a state like straw chewed and trampled by animals.]
