যখন একজন মানুষ মারা যায়, তার সব কাজ শেষ হয়ে যায় , তিনটি ব্যতিক্রম ছাড়া: সদকা জারিয়া (চলমান দান) , এমন জ্ঞান যা থেকে উপকার পাওয়া যায়, এবং একটি সৎ সন্তান যে তার জন্য দোয়া করে । | মুহাম্মদ (সাঃ) ; হাদিস - সহিহ মুসলিম | When a person dies, his works end, except for three: ongoing charity, knowledge that is benefited from, and a righteous child who prays for him. | Prophet Mohammed (PBUH); Hadith - Sahih Muslim |

যে ব্যক্তি ভাল কাজের জন্য সুপারিশ করবে, তার জন্য তাতে (সাওয়াবের) অংশ আছে এবং যে মন্দ কাজের জন্য সুপারিশ করবে, তার জন্য তাতে অংশ আছে । আর আল্লাহ সব কিছুর উপর নজর রাখেন । | সূরাঃ ৪ , আন-নিসা , আয়াতঃ : ৮৫ | Whoever intercedes for a good cause will have a reward therefrom; and whoever intercedes for an evil cause will have a burden therefrom. And ever is Allah, over all things, a Keeper. | Surah 4 , An-Nisa , Verse: 85 |

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
আল্লাহর নামে, যিনি পরম করুণাময়, পরম দয়ালু
Verse: 1 - 18
- এক ব্যক্তি চাইল, সংঘটিত হোক অবধারিত শাস্তি ।
- অবিশ্বাসীদের জন্য , এটা প্রতিরোধ করবার কেউ নেই।ক ব্যক্তি চাইল , সংঘটিত হোক শাস্তি যা অবধারিত ।
- এটা আসবে আল্লাহর কাছ থেকে , যিনি উর্ধ্বারোহনের সোপানসমূহের অধিকারী ।
- ফেরেশতা এবং রূহ আল্লাহর দিকে উর্ধ্বগামী হয় এমন একদিনে , যা পার্থিব পঞ্চাশ হাজার বৎসরের সমান ।
- কাজেই আপনি ধৈর্য ধারণ করুন পরম ধৈৰ্য ।
- তারা ঐ দিনটিকে সুদূর মনে করছে ,
- কিন্তু আমরা দেখছি তা আসন্ন ।
- সেদিন আকাশ হবে গলিত ধাতুর মত ,
- এবং পর্বতসমূহ হবে রঙ্গীন পশমের মত ,
- আর অন্তরঙ্গ বন্ধু অন্তরঙ্গ বন্ধুকে জিজ্ঞাসা করবে না ।
- (যদিও) তাদেরকে একে অপরের দৃষ্টির সামনে রাখা হবে । অপরাধী সেই দিনে শাস্তির বদলে দিতে চাইবে নিজ সন্তান-সন্ত তিকে ।
- আর তার স্ত্রী ও ভাইকে ,
- আর তার জ্ঞাতি-গোষ্ঠীকে , যারা তাকে আশ্রয় দিত ,
- এবং পৃথিবীর সকলকে , যাতে এই মুক্তিপণ তাকে মুক্তি দেয় ।
- না , কখনই নয় ! এটা তো লেলিহান অগ্নি ।
- যা দেহ হতে চামড়া খসিয়ে দেবে ।
- জাহান্নাম সে ব্যক্তিকে ডাকবে , যে সত্যের প্রতি পিঠ দেখিয়েছিল এবং মুখ ফিরিয়ে নিয়েছিল ।
- আর যে সম্পদ পুঞ্জীভূত করেছিল অতঃপর সংরক্ষিত করে রেখেছিল ।
- A supplicant asked for a punishment bound to happen
- To the disbelievers ; of it there is no preventer .
- [It is] from Allah , owner of the ways of ascent .
- The angels and the Spirit will ascend to Him during a Day the extent of which is fifty thousand years .
- So be patient with gracious patience .
- Indeed , they see it [as] distant ,
- But We see it [as] near .
- On the Day the sky will be like murky oil,
- And the mountains will be like wool ,
- And no friend will ask [anything of] a friend ,
- They will be shown each other . The criminal will wish that he could be ransomed from the punishment of that Day by his children
- And his wife and his brother
- And his nearest kindred who shelter him
- And whoever is on earth entirely [so] then it could save him .
- No ! Indeed , it is the Flame [of Hell] ,
- A remover of exteriors .
- It invites he who turned his back [on truth] and went away [ from obedience ]
- And collected [wealth] and hoarded .
Verse: 19 - 35
- নিশ্চয় মানুষকে সৃষ্টি করা হয়েছে অতিশয় অস্থিরচিত্তরূপে ।
- যখন তাকে বিপদ স্পর্শ করে তখন সে হয়ে পড়ে অতিমাত্রায় উৎকন্ঠিত ।
- আর যখন কল্যাণ তাকে স্পর্শ করে তখন সে হয়ে পড়ে অতিশয় কৃপণ ।
- অবশ্য নামাযীগণ এর ব্যতিক্রম ;
- যারা তাদের নামাযে সদা নিষ্ঠাবান ,
- আর যাদের সম্পদে নির্ধারিত হক রয়েছে ।
- ভিক্ষুক ও বঞ্চিতের ।
- আর যারা প্রতিদান দিবসকে সত্য বলে বিশ্বাস করে ।
- আর যারা তাদের রবের শাস্তি সম্পর্কে ভীত-সন্ত্রস্ত
- নিশ্চয়ই তাদের প্রতিপালকের শাস্তি হতে নির্ভয় থাকা যায় না ।
- আর যারা নিজেদের যৌন অঙ্গকে সংযত রাখে ।
- তাদের স্ত্রী অথবা অধিকারভুক্ত দাসীদের ক্ষেত্র ব্যতীত ; এতে তারা নিন্দনীয় হবে না ।
- তবে কেউ এ ছাড়া অন্যকে কামনা করলে, তারা হবে সীমালংঘনকারী ।
- এবং যারা তাদের আমানত ও প্রতিশ্রুতি রক্ষা করে ।
- আর যারা তাদের সাক্ষ্য দানে অটল ।
- এবং নিজেদের নামাযে যত্নবান ,
- তারাই জান্নাতসমূহে সম্মানিত হবে ।
- Indeed, mankind was created anxious:
- When evil touches him , impatient ,
- And when good touches him , withholding [of it] ,
- Except the observers of prayer
- Those who are constant in their prayer
- And those within whose wealth is a known right
- For the petitioner and the deprived
- And those who believe in the Day of Recompense
- And those who are fearful of the punishment of their Lord
- Indeed, the punishment of their Lord is not that from which one is safe
- And those who guard their private parts
- Except from their wives or those their right hands possess , for indeed , they are not to be blamed
- But whoever seeks beyond that , then they are the transgressors
- And those who are to their trusts and promises attentive
- And those who are in their testimonies upright
- And those who [carefully] maintain their prayer:
- They will be in gardens, honored .
Verse: 36 - 44
- কাফিরদের কী হল যে, তারা তোমার দিকে ছুটে আসছে ( তোমার কুরআন পাঠ শুনে তোমাকে ঠাট্টা-বিদ্রূপ করার জন্য ) ,
- ডান দিক আর বাম দিক থেকে দলে দলে ,
- তাদের প্রত্যেকে কি এ প্রত্যাশা করে যে , তাকে প্রবেশ করানো হবে প্রাচুর্যময় জান্নাতে ?
- কখনো নয় , আমরা তাদেরকে যা থেকে সৃষ্টি করেছি তা তারা জানে ।
- অতএব আমি শপথ করছি উদয়াচলসমূহ এবং অস্তাচলসমূহের রবের-অবশ্যই আমরা সক্ষম !
- তাদের চেয়ে উৎকৃষ্টদেরকে তাদের স্থলবতীর্ণ করতে এবং এতে আমরা অক্ষম নই ।
- অতএব তাদেরকে বাক - বিতণ্ডা ও খেল - তামাশায় মত্ত থাকতে দিন - যে দিনের প্রতিশ্রুতি তাদেরকে দেয়া হয় তার সম্মুখীন হওয়ার আগ পর্যন্ত ।
- সেদিন তারা কবর থেকে বের হবে দ্রুতবেগে , মনে হবে যেন তারা কোন লক্ষ্যস্থলের দিকে ছুটে চলেছে ।
- অবনত নেত্ৰে ; হীনতা তাদেরকে আচ্ছন্ন করবে ; এটাই সে দিন , যার বিষয়ে সতর্ক করা হয়েছিল তাদেরকে ।
- So what is [the matter] with those who disbelieve , hastening [from] before you, [O Muhammad] ,
- [To sit] on [your] right and [your] left in separate groups ?
- Does every person among them aspire to enter a garden of pleasure ?
- No ! Indeed , We have created them from that which they know .
- So I swear by the Lord of [all] risings and settings that indeed We are able
- To replace them with better than them ; and We are not to be outdone .
- So leave them to converse vainly and amuse themselves until they meet their Day which they are promised
- The Day they will emerge from the graves rapidly as if they were , toward an erected idol , hastening .
- Their eyes humbled , humiliation will cover them . That is the Day which they had been promised .
