037 | As-Saffat (আস-সাফফাত)

| আমরা সবসময় মনে রাখি | We Always Remember |​

  • যখন একজন মানুষ মারা যায়, তার সব কাজ শেষ হয়ে যায় , তিনটি ব্যতিক্রম ছাড়া: সদকা জারিয়া (চলমান দান) , এমন জ্ঞান যা থেকে উপকার পাওয়া যায়, এবং একটি সৎ সন্তান যে তার জন্য দোয়া করে । | মুহাম্মদ (সাঃ) ; হাদিস - সহিহ মুসলিম | When a person dies, his works end, except for three: ongoing charity, knowledge that is benefited from, and a righteous child who prays for him. | Prophet Mohammed (PBUH); Hadith - Sahih Muslim |

  • যে ব্যক্তি ভাল কাজের জন্য সুপারিশ করবে, তার জন্য তাতে (সাওয়াবের) অংশ আছে এবং যে মন্দ কাজের জন্য সুপারিশ করবে, তার জন্য তাতে অংশ আছে । আর আল্লাহ সব কিছুর উপর নজর রাখেন । | সূরাঃ ৪ , আন-নিসা , আয়াতঃ : ৮৫ | Whoever intercedes for a good cause will have a reward therefrom; and whoever intercedes for an evil cause will have a burden therefrom. And ever is Allah, over all things, a Keeper. | Surah 4 , An-Nisa , Verse: 85 |

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
আল্লাহর নামে, যিনি পরম করুণাময়, পরম দয়ালু

Verse: 1 - 5

  • শপথ তাদের (ফিরিশতারা) যারা সারিবদ্ধভাবে দণ্ডায়মান ।
  • অতঃপর যারা কঠোর পরিচালক ।
  • আর যারা (আল্লাহর) যিকর আবৃত্তিতে রত
  • নিশ্চয় তোমাদের ইলাহ এক ,
  • যিনি আসমানসমূহ , যমীন ও তাদের অন্তর্বর্তী সবকিছুর রব এবং রব সকল উদয়স্থলের ।
  • By those [angels] lined up in rows
  • And those who drive [the clouds]
  • And those who recite the message,
  • Indeed, your God is One,
  • Lord of the heavens and the earth and that between them and Lord of the sunrises.

Verse: 6 - 10

  • নিশ্চয় আমরা নিকটবর্তী আসমানকে তারকারাজির সৌন্দর্য দ্বারা সুশোভিত করেছি ,
  • এবং একে প্রত্যেক বিদ্রোহী শয়তান হতে রক্ষা করেছি ।
  • ফলে ওরা ঊর্ধ্ব জগতের কিছু শুনতে পারে না । ওদের ওপর সকল দিক হতে (উল্কা) নিক্ষিপ্ত হয় ;
  • বিতাড়নের জন্য এবং তাদের জন্য রয়েছে অবিরাম শাস্তি ।
  • তবে কেউ সন্তর্পণে কিছু শুনে ফেললে জ্বলন্ত উল্কাপিণ্ড তার পশ্চাদ্ধাবন করে ।
  • Indeed, We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment of stars
  • And as protection against every rebellious devil
  • [So] they may not listen to the exalted assembly [of angels] and are pelted from every side,
  • Repelled; and for them is a constant punishment,
  • Except one who snatches [some words] by theft, but they are pursued by a burning flame, piercing [in brightness].

Verse: 11 - 15

  • সুতরাং তাদেরকে (অবিশ্বাসীদেরকে) জিজ্ঞেস করুন , তাদেরকে সৃষ্টি করা কঠিনতর নাকি আমরা অন্য যা কিছু সৃষ্টি করেছি তা সৃষ্টি কঠিনতর ? তাদেরকে তো আমরা সৃষ্টি করেছি আঠাল মাটি হতে ।
  • (আল্লাহর শক্তি-ক্ষমতা-মহিমা দেখে) আপনি তো বিস্ময় বোধ করছেন , আর তারা করছে বিদ্রূপ ।
  • এবং যখন তাদেরকে উপদেশ দেয়া হয় , তখন তারা তা গ্রহণ করে না ।
  • আর যখন তারা কোন নিদর্শন দেখে , তখন তারা উপহাস করে ।
  • এবং বলে, এটা তো এক সুস্পষ্ট জাদু ছাড়া আর কিছুই নয় ।
  • Then inquire of them, [O Muhammad], "Are they a stronger [or more difficult] creation or those [others] We have created?" Indeed, We created men from sticky clay.
  • But you wonder, while they mock,
  • And when they are reminded, they remember not.
  • And when they see a sign, they ridicule
  • And say, "This is not but obvious magic.

Verse: 16 - 20

  • আমরা যখন মরে যাব এবং মাটি ও অস্থিতে পরিণত হব , তখনও কি আমরা পুনরুত্থিত হব ?
  • এবং আমাদের পিতৃপুরুষগণও ?
  • বলুন , হ্যাঁ , এবং তোমরা হবে লাঞ্ছিত ।
  • মাত্র একটি প্রচন্ড শব্দ হবে ; আর তখনই তারা স্বচক্ষে (সব কিছু) দেখতে পাবে ।
  • এবং তারা বলবে , হায় , দুর্ভোগ আমাদের ! এটাই তো প্রতিদান দিবস ।
  • When we have died and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected ?
  • And our forefathers [as well] ?
  • Say, "Yes, and you will be [rendered] contemptible."
  • It will be only one shout, and at once they will be observing.
  • They will say, "O woe to us! This is the Day of Recompense."

Verse: 21 - 25

  • (ওদের বলা হবে,) এটিই সেই ফায়সালার দিন , যা তোমরা মিথ্যা মনে করতে ।
  • (ফেরেশতাদেরকে বলা হবে) একত্র কর যালিম ও তাদের সঙ্গী-সাথীদেরকে এবং যাদের ইবাদাত তারা করত তাদেরকে ।
  • আল্লাহকে বাদ দিয়ে , আর তাদেরকে জাহান্নামের পথে পরিচালিত কর ।
  • আর তাদেরকে থামাও , অবশ্যই তাদেরকে তো প্রশ্ন করা হবে ।
  • তোমাদের কী হল যে , তোমরা একে অন্যের সাহায্য করছ না ?
  • [They will be told], "This is the Day of Judgement which you used to deny."
  • [The angels will be ordered], "Gather those who committed wrong, their kinds, and what they used to worship
  • Other than Allah, and guide them to the path of Hellfire
  • And stop them; indeed, they are to be questioned."
  • [They will be asked], "What is [wrong] with you? Why do you not help each other?"

Verse: 26 - 30

  • বরং তারা হবে আজ আত্মসমর্পণকারী ।
  • আর তারা একে অপরের দিকে ফিরবে এবং একে অপরকে দোষারোপ করবে ।
  • (আনুগত্যকারীরা তাদের নেতাদেরকে) বলবে, তোমরা তো তোমাদের ক্ষমতা নিয়ে আমাদের কাছে আসতে ।
  • জবাবে তারা (নেতৃস্থানীয় কাফিররা) বলবে, বরং তোমরা তো মুমিন ছিলে না ।
  • এবং তোমাদের উপর আমাদের কোন কর্তৃত্ব ছিল না ; বস্তুত তোমরাই ছিলে সীমালংঘনকারী সম্প্রদায় ।
  • But they, that Day, are in surrender.
  • And they will approach one another blaming each other.
  • They will say, "Indeed, you used to come at us from the right."
  • The oppressors will say, "Rather, you [yourselves] were not believers,
  • And we had over you no authority, but you were a transgressing people.

Verse: 30 - 35

  • আমাদের বিরুদ্ধে আমাদের রবের কথা সত্য হয়েছে ; আমাদেরকে অবশ্যই শাস্তি আস্বাদন করতে হবে ।
  • আমরা তোমাদেরকে বিভ্রান্ত করেছিলাম ; কারণ আমরা নিজেরাই ছিলাম বিভ্রান্ত ।
  • অতঃপর তারা সবাই সেদিন শাস্তির শরীক হবে ।
  • নিশ্চয় আমরা অপরাধীদের সাথে এরূপ করে থাকি ।
  • তাদেরকে যখন বলা হত, আল্লাহ ছাড়া কোন (সত্য) ইলাহ নেই , তখন তারা অহঙ্কার করত ।
  • So the word of our Lord has come into effect upon us; indeed, we will taste [punishment].
  • And we led you to deviation; indeed, we were deviators."
  • So indeed they, that Day, will be sharing in the punishment.
  • Indeed, that is how We deal with the criminals.
  • Indeed they, when it was said to them, "There is no deity but Allah," were arrogant

Verse: 35 - 40

  • এবং বলত , আমরা কি এক উন্মাদ কবির কথায় আমাদের ইলাহদেরকে বর্জন করব ?
  • বরং তিনি [অর্থাৎ মুহাম্মাদ (সা.)] তো সত্য নিয়ে এসেছেন এবং তিনি (পূর্বে আগমনকারী) রাসূলদেরকে সত্য বলে স্বীকার করেছেন ।
  • তোমরা অবশ্যই যন্ত্রণাদায়ক শাস্তি আস্বাদনকারী হবে ,
  • এবং তোমরা যা করতে তারই প্ৰতিফল পাবে ।
  • তবে তারা নয় , যারা আল্লাহর একনিষ্ঠ বান্দা ।
  • And were saying, "Are we to leave our gods for a mad poet?"
  • Rather, the Prophet has come with the truth and confirmed the [previous] messengers.
  • Indeed, you [disbelievers] will be tasters of the painful punishment,
  • And you will not be recompensed except for what you used to do
  • But not the chosen servants of Allah.

Verse: 41 - 45

  • তাদের জন্য আছে নির্ধারিত রিযিক ।
  • ফলমূল ; আর তারা হবে সম্মানিত ,
  • নি‘আমত-ভরা জান্নাতে ,
  • তারা মুখোমুখি আসনে আসীন হবে ।
  • তাদেরকে ঘুরে ঘুরে পরিবেশন করা হবে বিশুদ্ধ সুরাপূর্ণ পাত্ৰ ,
  • Those will have a provision determined
  • Fruits; and they will be honored
  • In gardens of pleasure
  • On thrones facing one another.
  • There will be circulated among them a cup [of wine] from a flowing spring,

Verse: 46 - 50

  • যা হবে শুভ্র উজ্জ্বল , পানকারীদের জন্য সুস্বাদু ।
  • তাতে ক্ষতিকর কিছু থাকবে না এবং তাতে তারা নেশাগ্রস্তও হবে না ,
  • তাদের সঙ্গে থাকবে আনতনয়না , ডাগর চোখ বিশিষ্ট (হূরীগণ) ।
  • তারা যেন সযত্নে ঢেকে রাখা ডিম ।
  • অতঃপর তারা পরস্পরের মুখোমুখী হয়ে একে অপরের খবর জিজ্ঞেস করবে ।
  • White and delicious to the drinkers;
  • No bad effect is there in it, nor from it will they be intoxicated.
  • And with them will be women limiting [their] glances, with large, [beautiful] eyes,
  • As if they were [delicate] eggs, well-protected.
  • And they will approach one another, inquiring of each other.

Verse: 51 - 55

  • তাদের একজন বলবে , (‘পৃথিবীতে) আমার এক সঙ্গী ছিল ,
  • সে বলত - তুমি কি বিশ্বাস কর যে ,
  • আমরা যখন মরে যাব এবং আমরা মাটি ও অস্থিতে পরিণত হব তখনও কি আমাদেরকে প্রতিফল দেয়া হবে ?
  • আল্লাহ্‌ বলবেন, তোমরা কি তাকে দেখতে চাও ?
  • অতঃপর সে ঝুঁকে দেখবে এবং তাকে দেখতে পাবে জাহান্নামের মধ্যস্থলে ;
  • A speaker among them will say, "Indeed, I had a companion [on earth]
  • Who would say, 'Are you indeed of those who believe
  • That when we have died and become dust and bones, we will indeed be recompensed?'"
  • He will say, "Would you [care to] look?"
  • And he will look and see him in the midst of the Hellfire.

Verse: 56 - 60

  • সে বলবে , আল্লাহর কসম ! তুমি তো আমাকে প্রায় ধ্বংস করে দিয়েছিলে ।
  • আমার প্রতিপালকের অনুগ্রহ না হলে আমিও তো (জাহান্নামের ভিতর) হাজির করা লোকেদের একজন হতাম ।
  • (জান্নাতবাসী ব্যক্তি আনন্দে উৎফুল্ল হয়ে বলবে) আমাদের তো আর মৃত্যু হবে না ।
  • প্রথম মৃত্যুর পর এবং আমাদেরকে শাস্তিও দেয়া হবে না !
  • নিশ্চয়ই এ মহাসাফল্য ।
  • He will say, "By Allah, you almost ruined me.
  • If not for the favor of my Lord, I would have been of those brought in [to Hell].
  • Then, are we not to die
  • Except for our first death, and we will not be punished ?"
  • Indeed, this is the great attainment.

Verse: 61 - 65

  • এরূপ সাফল্যের জন্য আমলকারীদের উচিত আমল করা ,
  • আপ্যায়নের জন্য কি এটাই শ্রেষ্ঠ, না কি যাক্কুম বৃক্ষ ?
  • যালিমদের জন্য আমরা এটা সৃষ্টি করেছি পরীক্ষাস্বরূপ , [ কেননা, যালিমরা বলে যে, জাহান্নামের ভিতর আবার গাছ হয় কী করে? ]
  • এ গাছ উদগত হয় জাহান্নামের তলদেশ থেকে ,
  • এর চূড়াগুলো যেন শয়ত্বানের মাথা (অর্থাৎ দেখতে খুবই খারাপ।)
  • For the like of this let the workers [on earth] work.
  • Is Paradise a better accommodation or the tree of zaqqum?
  • Indeed, We have made it a torment for the wrongdoers.
  • Indeed, it is a tree issuing from the bottom of the Hellfire,
  • Its emerging fruit as if it was heads of the devils.

Verse: 66 - 70

  • জাহান্নামের অধিবাসীরা এটা থেকে খাবে এবং তা দিয়ে উদর পূর্ণ করবে ।
  • তদুপরি তাদের জন্য থাকবে ফুটন্ত পানির মিশ্রণ ।
  • তারপর তাদের প্রত্যাবর্তন হবে প্ৰজ্বলিত আগুনেরই দিকে ।
  • তারা তো তাদের পিতৃপুরুষদেরকে পেয়েছিল বিপথগামী ,
  • ফলে তারাও তাদের পদাঙ্ক অনুসরণ করেছিল ।
  • And indeed, they will eat from it and fill with it their bellies.
  • Then indeed, they will have after it a mixture of scalding water.
  • Then indeed, their return will be to the Hellfire.
  • Indeed they found their fathers astray.
  • So they hastened [to follow] in their footsteps.

Verse: 71 - 75

  • আর অবশ্যই তাদের আগে পূর্ববর্তীদের বেশীর ভাগ বিপথগামী হয়েছিল ,
  • আর অবশ্যই আমরা তাদের মধ্যে সতর্ককারী পাঠিয়েছিলাম ।
  • কাজেই লক্ষ্য করুন যাদেরকে সতর্ক করা হয়েছিল, তাদের পরিণাম কী হয়েছিল !
  • তবে আল্লাহর একনিষ্ঠ বান্দাদের কথা স্বতন্ত্র ।
  • আর অবশ্যই নূহ আমাদেরকে ডেকেছিলেন , অতঃপর (দেখুন) আমরা কত উত্তম সাড়াদানকারী ।
  • And there had already strayed before them most of the former peoples,
  • And We had already sent among them warners.
  • Then look how was the end of those who were warned
  • But not the chosen servants of Allah.
  • And Noah had certainly called Us, and [We are] the best of responders.

Verse: 76 - 80

  • তাকে এবং তার পরিবারবর্গকে আমরা উদ্ধার করেছিলাম মহাসংকট থেকে ।
  • আর তার বংশধরদেরকেই আমরা বিদ্যমান রেখেছি (বংশপরম্পরায়) ,
  • আর আমরা পরবর্তীদের মধ্যে তার জন্য সুখ্যাতি রেখেছি ।
  • সমগ্র বিশ্বের মধ্যে নূহের প্রতি শান্তি বর্ষিত হোক !
  • নিশ্চয় আমরা এভাবে সৎ কর্মশীলদেরকে পুরস্কৃত করে থাকি ।
  • And We saved him and his family from the great affliction.
  • And We made his descendants those remaining [on the earth]
  • And left for him [favorable mention] among later generations .
  • "Peace upon Noah among the worlds."
  • Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good.

Verse: 81 - 85

  • নিশ্চয় তিনি ছিলেন আমাদের মুমিন বান্দাদের অন্যতম ।
  • তারপর অন্য সকলকে আমরা নিমজিত করেছিলাম ।
  • আর নিশ্চয় ইব্রাহীম তার অনুসারীদের একজন ।
  • স্মরণ করুন , যখন তিনি তার রবের কাছে উপস্থিত হয়েছিলেন বিশুদ্ধচিত্তে ;
  • যখন তিনি তার পিতা ও তার সম্প্রদায়কে জিজ্ঞেস করেছিলেন , তোমরা কিসের ইবাদাত করছ ?
  • Indeed, he was of Our believing servants.
  • Then We drowned the disbelievers.
  • And indeed, among his kind was Abraham,
  • When he came to his Lord with a sound heart
  • [And] when he said to his father and his people, "What do you worship?

Verse: 86 - 90

  • তোমরা কি আল্লাহর পরিবর্তে অলীক উপাস্য চাও ?
  • বিশ্ব জগতের প্রতিপালক সম্পর্কে তোমরা কী ধারণা পোষণ কর ?
  • অতঃপর তিনি (ইব্রাহীম) তারকারাজির দিকে একবার তাকালেন ,
  • এবং বললেন , নিশ্চয় আমি অসুস্থ ।
  • অতঃপর তারা তাকে পিছনে রেখে চলে গেল ।
  • Is it falsehood [as] gods other than Allah you desire?
  • Then what is your thought about the Lord of the worlds?"
  • And he cast a look at the stars
  • And said, "Indeed, I am [about to be] ill."
  • So they turned away from him, departing.

Verse: 91 - 95

  • পরে তিনি চুপিচুপি তাদের দেবতাগুলোর কাছে গেলেন এবং বললেন , তোমরা খাদ্য গ্রহণ করছ না কেন ?
  • তোমাদের কী হয়েছে যে তোমরা কথা বলছ না ?
  • অতঃপর তিনি তাদের উপর সবলে আঘাত হানলেন ।
  • তখন ঐ লোকগুলো তার দিকে ছুটে আসল ।
  • তিনি বললেন , তোমরা নিজেরা যাদেরকে পাথর খোদাই করে নির্মাণ কর , সেগুলোরই আবার ইবাদাত কর ?
  • Then he turned to their gods and said, "Do you not eat?
  • What is [wrong] with you that you do not speak?"
  • And he turned upon them a blow with [his] right hand.
  • Then the people came toward him, hastening.
  • He said, "Do you worship that which you [yourselves] carve,

Verse: 96 - 100

  • অথচ , আল্লাহই সৃষ্টি করেছেন তোমাদেরকে এবং তোমরা যা তৈরী করা তাও ।
  • তারা বলল, এর জন্য এক অগ্নিকুন্ড তৈরী কর , অতঃপর একে জ্বলন্ত অগ্নিতে নিক্ষেপ কর ।
  • এভাবে তারা তার বিরুদ্ধে চক্রান্তের সংকল্প করেছিল ; কিন্তু আমরা তাদেরকে সম্পূর্ণ পরাভূত করে দিলাম ।
  • তিনি (ইব্রাহীম) বললেন , আমি আমার রবের দিকে চললাম , তিনি আমাকে অবশ্যই হেদায়াত করবেন ,
  • হে আমার রব ! আমাকে এক সৎকর্মশীল পুত্র সন্তান দান করুন ।
  • While Allah created you and that which you do?"
  • They said, "Construct for him a furnace and throw him into the burning fire."
  • And they intended for him a plan, but We made them the most debased.
  • And [then] he said, "Indeed, I will go to [where I am ordered by] my Lord; He will guide me.
  • My Lord, grant me [a child] from among the righteous."

Verse: 101 - 105

  • অতঃপর আমরা তাকে এক ধৈর্যশীল পুত্রের সুসংবাদ দিলাম ।
  • অতঃপর তিনি যখন তার পিতার সাথে কাজ করার মত বয়সে উপনীত হলেন , তখন ইবরাহীম বললেন , হে প্রিয় বৎস ! আমি স্বপ্নে দেখি যে, তোমাকে আমি যবেহ করছি , এখন তোমার অভিমত কি বল? তিনি বললেন, হে আমার পিতা ! আপনি যা আদেশপ্ৰাপ্ত হয়েছেন তা-ই করুন । আল্লাহর ইচ্ছায় আপনি আমাকে ধৈর্যশীল পাবেন ।
  • অতঃপর যখন পিতা-পুত্র উভয়ে আনুগত্য প্রকাশ করলেন এবং ইবরাহীম তার পুত্রকে উপুড় করে শায়িত করলেন ,
  • তখন আমরা তাকে ডেকে বললাম , হে ইবরাহীম !
  • আপনি তো স্বপ্নের আদেশ সত্যই পালন করলেন ! এভাবেই আমরা সৎকর্মশীলদেরকে পুরস্কৃত করে থাকি ।
  • So We gave him good tidings of a forbearing boy.
  • And when he reached with him [the age of] exertion, he said, "O my son, indeed I have seen in a dream that I [must] sacrifice you, so see what you think." He said, "O my father, do as you are commanded. You will find me, if Allah wills, of the steadfast."
  • And when they had both submitted and he put him down upon his forehead,
  • We called to him, "O Abraham,
  • You have fulfilled the vision." Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good.

Verse: 106 - 110

  • নিশ্চয়ই এটা ছিল এক স্পষ্ট পরীক্ষা ।
  • আর আমরা তার পরিবর্তে যবেহযোগ্য এক মহান জন্তু (কুরবানী) দিয়ে তাকে মুক্ত করে নিলাম ।
  • আর আমরা তার জন্য এ বিষয়টি পরবর্তীদের জন্য স্মরণীয় করে রাখলাম ।
  • ইবরাহীমের উপর শান্তি বৰ্ষিত হোক ।
  • এভাবেই আমরা সৎকর্মপরায়ণদেরকে প্রতিদান দিয়ে থাকি ।
  • Indeed, this was the clear trial.
  • And We ransomed him with a great sacrifice,
  • And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations:
  • "Peace upon Abraham."
  • Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good.

Verse: 111 - 115

  • নিশ্চয় তিনি ছিলেন আমাদের মুমিন বান্দাদের অন্যতম ;
  • আর আমরা তাকে সুসংবাদ দিয়েছিলাম ইসহাকের , তিনি ছিলেন এক নবী , সৎকর্মপরায়ণদের অন্যতম ।
  • আর আমরা ইবরাহীমের ওপর বরকত দান করেছিলাম এবং ইসহাকের উপরও ; তাদের উভয়ের বংশধরদের মধ্যে কিছু সংখ্যক সৎকর্মপরায়ণ এবং কিছু সংখ্যক নিজেদের প্রতি স্পষ্ট অত্যাচারী ।
  • আর অবশ্যই আমরা অনুগ্রহ করেছিলাম মূসা ও হারূনের প্রতি ,
  • এবং তাদেরকে এবং তাদের সম্প্রদায়কে আমরা উদ্ধার করেছিলাম মহাসংকট থেকে ।
  • Indeed, he was of Our believing servants.
  • And We gave him good tidings of Isaac, a prophet from among the righteous.
  • And We blessed him and Isaac. But among their descendants is the doer of good and the clearly unjust to himself.
  • And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron.
  • And We saved them and their people from the great affliction,

Verse: 116 - 120

  • আর আমরা সাহায্য করেছিলাম তাদেরকে , ফলে তারাই হয়েছিল বিজয়ী ।
  • আর আমরা উভয়কে দিয়েছিলাম সুস্পষ্ট কিতাব ।
  • আর উভয়কে আমরা পরিচালিত করেছিলাম সরল পথে ।
  • আর আমরা তাদের উভয়কে পরবর্তীদের জন্য স্মরণীয় করে রাখলাম ।
  • মূসা ও হারূনের প্রতি শান্তি বর্ষিত হোক ,
  • And We supported them so it was they who overcame.
  • And We gave them the explicit Scripture,
  • And We guided them on the straight path.
  • And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations .
  • "Peace upon Moses and Aaron."

Verse: 121 - 125

  • নিশ্চয় আমরা এভাবেই সৎকর্মশীলদেরকে পুরস্কৃত করে থাকি ।
  • নিশ্চয় তারা উভয়ে ছিলেন বিশ্বাসী বান্দাদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত ।
  • আর নিশ্চয় ইলইয়াস (ইদ্‌রীস) ছিলেন রাসূলদের একজন ।
  • যখন তিনি তার সম্প্রদায়কে বলেছিলেন, তোমরা কি (আল্লাহকে) ভয় করবে না ?
  • তোমরা কি বা’লকে (দেবমূর্তি) ডাকবে এবং পরিত্যাগ করবে শ্রেষ্ঠ স্রষ্টা
  • Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good.
  • Indeed, they were of Our believing servants.
  • And indeed, Elias ( Idris) was from among the messengers,
  • When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah?
  • Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators

Verse: 126 - 130

  • আল্লাহকে, যিনি প্রতিপালক তোমাদের এবং তোমাদের পূর্বপুরুষদের ?
  • কিন্তু তারা তাকে মিথ্যে বলে প্রত্যাখ্যান করল, কাজেই তাদেরকে অবশ্যই (শাস্তির জন্য) হাজির করা হবে ।
  • তবে আল্লাহর একনিষ্ঠ বান্দাদের কথা স্বতন্ত্র ।
  • আর আমরা তাকে পরবর্তীদের মাঝে স্মরণীয় করে রাখলাম ।
  • ইল্‌য়্যাসের উপর শান্তি বর্ষিত হোক ।
  • Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?"
  • And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment],
  • Except the chosen servants of Allah.
  • And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations:
  • "Peace upon Elias."

Verse: 131 - 135

  • নিশ্চয় নিশ্চয় এভাবেই সৎকর্মশীলদেরকে পুরস্কৃত করে থাকি ।
  • তিনি তো ছিলেন আমাদের মুমিন বান্দাদের অন্যতম ।
  • আর নিশ্চয় লুত ছিলেন রাসূলদের একজন ।
  • স্মরণ করুন , যখন আমরা তাকে ও তার পরিবারের সকলকে উদ্ধার করেছিলাম ।
  • এক বৃদ্ধা ( লূত (আঃ)-এর স্ত্রী ব্যতীত- সে কাফের ছিল) , যে ছিল পশ্চাতে অবস্থানকারীদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত ।
  • Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good.
  • Indeed, he was of Our believing servants.
  • And indeed, Lot was among the messengers.
  • [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all,
  • Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers].

Verse: 136 - 140

  • অতঃপর অবশিষ্টদেরকে আমরা সম্পূর্ণভাবে ধ্বংস করেছিলাম ।
  • আর তোমরা তো ওদের ধ্বংসাবশেষগুলি অতিক্রম করে থাক সকালে
  • এবং রাতে , তবুও কি তোমরা বুঝবে না ?
  • আর নিশ্চয় ইউনুস ছিলেন রাসূলদের একজন ।
  • স্মরণ করুন, যখন তিনি বোঝাই নৌযানের দিকে পালিয়ে গেলেন ,
  • Then We destroyed the others.
  • And indeed, you pass by them in the morning
  • And at night. Then will you not use reason?
  • And indeed, Jonah was among the messengers.
  • [Mention] when he ran away to the laden ship.

Verse: 141 - 145

  • (দোষী খুঁজার জন্য যে লটারী করা হল ) অতঃপর তিনি লটারীতে যোগদান করে পরাভূতদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হলেন ।
  • অতঃপর (তাকে নৌকা হতে সমুদ্রে ঠেলে দেওয়া হলে) এক বিরাট মাছ তাকে গিলে ফেলল , তখন তিনি নিজেকে ধিক্কার দিতে লাগল ।
  • আর তিনি যদি (অনুতপ্ত হয়ে) আল্লাহর পবিত্ৰতা ও মহিমা ঘোষণাকারীদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত না হতেন ,
  • তাহলে নিশ্চিতই তাকে পুনরুত্থানের দিন পর্যন্ত মাছের পেটে থাকতে হত ।
  • অতঃপর ইউনুসকে আমরা নিক্ষেপ করলাম এক তৃণহীন প্রান্তরে এবং তিনি ছিলেন অসুস্থ ।
  • And he drew lots and was among the losers.
  • Then the fish swallowed him, while he was blameworthy.
  • And had he not been of those who exalt Allah,
  • He would have remained inside its belly until the Day they are resurrected.
  • But We threw him onto the open shore while he was ill .

Verse: 146 - 150

  • আর আমরা তার উপর ইয়াকতীন (শসা, কাঁকড় ও লাউ জাতীয় গাছ ) প্ৰজাতির এক গাছ উদগত করলাম (তাকে ছায়া দেওয়ার জন্য) ,
  • আর তাকে আমরা একলক্ষ বা তার চেয়ে বেশী লোকের প্রতি প্রেরণ করেছিলাম ।
  • অতঃপর তারা ঈমান এনেছিল ; ফলে আমরা তাদেরকে কিছু কালের জন্য জীবনোপভোগ করতে দিলাম ।
  • এখন তাদেরকে জিজ্ঞেস করুন, আপনার রবের জন্যই কি রয়েছে কন্যা সন্তান এবং তাদের জন্য পুত্ৰ সন্তান ?
  • নাকি আমরা ফেরেশতাদেরকে নারীরূপে সৃষ্টি করেছিলাম আর তারা তা (অর্থাৎ মক্কার কাফিররা সেখানে হাজির ছিল ) প্রত্যক্ষ করছিল ?
  • And We caused to grow over him a gourd vine.
  • And We sent him to [his people of] a hundred thousand or more.
  • And they believed, so We gave them enjoyment [of life] for a time.
  • So inquire of them, [O Muhammad], "Does your Lord have daughters while they have sons?
  • Or did We create the angels as females while they were witnesses?"

Verse: 151 - 155

  • জেনে রাখ, তারা অবশ্যই তাদের মনগড়া কথা বলে যে ,
  • আল্লাহ সন্তান জন্ম দিয়েছেন । নিশ্চয় ওরা মিথ্যাবাদী ।
  • তিনি কি পুত্ৰ সন্তানের পরিবর্তে কন্যা সন্তান পছন্দ করেছেন ?
  • তোমাদের কী হয়েছে , তোমরা কিরূপ বিচার কর ?
  • তাহলে কি তোমরা উপদেশ গ্ৰহণ করবে না ?
  • Unquestionably, it is out of their [invented] falsehood that they say,
  • " Allah has begotten," and indeed, they are liars.
  • Has He chosen daughters over sons ?
  • What is [wrong] with you? How do you make judgement?
  • Then will you not be reminded?

Verse: 156 - 160

  • নাকি তোমাদের কোন সুস্পষ্ট দলীল - প্রমাণ আছে ?
  • অতএব তোমরা সত্যবাদী হলে তোমাদের কিতাব নিয়ে আস ।
  • আর তারা আল্লাহ ও জিন জাতির মধ্যে একটা বংশসম্পর্ক সাব্যস্ত করেছে , অথচ জিন জাতি জানে যে , নিশ্চয় তাদেরকেও উপস্থিত করা হবে (শাস্তির জন্য) ।
  • তারা যা বলে , তা হতে আল্লাহ পবিত্র , মহান ।
  • কিন্তু আল্লাহর একনিষ্ঠ বান্দারা এসব কথা বলে না ।
  • Or do you have a clear authority?
  • Then produce your scripture, if you should be truthful.
  • And they have claimed between Him and the jinn a lineage, but the jinn have already known that they [who made such claims] will be brought to [punishment].
  • Exalted is Allah above what they describe,
  • Except the chosen servants of Allah [who do not share in that sin].

Verse: 161 - 165

  • অবশ্যই তোমরা এবং তোমরা যাদের উপাসনা কর তারা ;
  • আল্লাহর সঙ্গে সম্পর্ক স্থাপনের ব্যাপারে (একনিষ্ঠ বান্দাদের) কাউকেও আল্লাহ সম্বন্ধে বিভ্রান্ত করতে পারবে না ।
  • কেবল তাকে বিভ্রান্ত করতে পারবে , যে জাহান্নামে প্রবেশ করবে ।
  • আর (জিবরীল বললেন) আমাদের প্রত্যেকের জন্য নির্ধারিত স্থান রয়েছে ,
  • আর আমরা তো সারিবদ্ধভাবে দণ্ডায়মান ,
  • So indeed, you [disbelievers] and whatever you worship,
  • You cannot tempt [anyone] away from Him
  • Except he who is to [enter and] burn in the Hellfire.
  • [The angels say], "There is not among us any except that he has a known position.
  • And indeed, we are those who line up [for prayer].

Verse: 166 - 170

  • এবং আমরা অবশ্যই তাঁর পবিত্রতা ও মহিমা ঘোষণাকারী ।
  • আর তারা (মক্কাবাসীরা) অবশ্যই বলে আসছিল ,
  • পূর্ববর্তীদের কিতাবের মত যদি আমাদের কোন কিতাব থাকত ,
  • আমরা অবশ্যই আল্লাহর একনিষ্ঠ বান্দা হতাম।
  • কিন্তু (এখন কুরআন আসার পর) তারা সেটা অমান্য ও অস্বীকার করল । তারা শীঘ্রই জানতে পারবে (এর পরিণাম) ।
  • And indeed, we are those who exalt Allah."
  • And indeed, the disbelievers used to say,
  • "If we had a message from [those of] the former peoples,
  • We would have been the chosen servants of Allah."
  • But they disbelieved in it, so they are going to know.

Verse: 171 - 175

  • আর অবশ্যই আমাদের প্রেরিত বান্দাদের জন্য আমাদের এ কথা পূর্ব নির্ধারিত হয়েছে যে,
  • অবশ্যই তারাই সাহায্যপ্রাপ্ত হবে ,
  • এবং নিঃসন্দেহে আমার বাহিনীই বিজয়ী হবে ।
  • অতএব কিছু কালের জন্য আপনি তাদেরকে উপেক্ষা করুণ ।
  • আর আপনি তাদেরকে পর্যবেক্ষণ করুন, শীঘ্রই তারা দেখতে পাবে (সত্য-প্রত্যাখ্যানের পরিণাম) ।
  • And Our word has already preceded for Our servants, the messengers,
  • [That] indeed, they would be those given victory
  • And [that] indeed, Our soldiers will be those who overcome.
  • So, [O Muhammad], leave them for a time.
  • And see [what will befall] them, for they are going to see.

Verse: 176 - 180

  • তারা কি তবে আমাদের শাস্তি ত্বরান্বিত করতে চায় ?
  • অতঃপর যাদের সতর্ক করা হয়েছিল শাস্তি যখন তাদের আঙিনায় নেমে আসবে , তখন ওদের প্রভাত হবে কত মন্দ !
  • অতএব কিছু কালের জন্য আপনি ওদের উপেক্ষা করুণ ।
  • আর আপনি তাদেরকে পর্যবেক্ষণ করুন, শীঘ্রই তারা দেখতে পাবে (সত্য-প্রত্যাখ্যানের পরিণাম) ।
  • তারা যা আরোপ করে, তা থেকে পবিত্র ও মহান আপনার রব, সকল ক্ষমতার অধিকারী ।
  • Then for Our punishment are they impatient ?
  • But when it descends in their territory, then evil is the morning of those who were warned.
  • And leave them for a time.
  • And see, for they are going to see .
  • Exalted is your Lord, the Lord of might, above what they describe.

Verse: 181 - 182

  • আর শান্তি বৰ্ষিত হোক রাসূলদের প্ৰতি !
  • আর সমস্ত প্রশংসা বিশ্বজগতের প্রতিপালক আল্লাহর জন্য ।
  • And peace upon the messengers.
  • And praise to Allah, Lord of the worlds.
